    • I’m a bit paranoid about 5* TY since she’s released near the tail end of the current major version, as 3.0 is happening quite soon. She basically completes the premium break team, replacing presumably HMC and not Ruan Mei in my opinion as that makes more sense from a story perspective. It also doesn’t make sense for them to push us to replace a premium 5* unit instead of the freebie 5* unit.

      Post 3.0 the meta is likely to shift immediately towards something else as we get that huge update with the new Greece-inspired (?) world, with the trailblazer freed up to get a new path and be inserted into a new team. I personally am going to stick with 4* TY because of that. The plan instead is to play the MC dynamically and switch the path to fit the latest theme. So basically play new path MC for 3.X and when break comes back in fashion, use HMC again.

      • I get the narrative of “theres no way they going to let us have a free 5* unit as a main meta instead of premium” but at the same time we really dont know how the dev’s plans anyway. so here we are

        TY replacing ruan mei kinda depends on multiple cases
        first are you going to E1 TY? if yes then she can replace RM anytime why? because i dunno man if 100% superbreak already does 500K dmg then wont be another line of 100% superbreak dmg is better than 25% res

        2nd case of not going for E1 TY then, is the team FF/boothill/Rappa?
        where in FF team is your FF E2 to greatly abuse the exo toughness mechanic from TY talent?
        where in boothill team is a straight up upgrade no questions asked
        where in Rappa team is an upgrade too due to Rappa dmg boost talent from weakness break

        3rd case where you are completely f2p so, how is TY *5 pull value?
        TY is pretty much a good alternative for ruan mei if you still havent gotten her

        4th case is the enemy having multiple toughness bar (such as sunday weekly boss)
        on this case ruan mei is better than TY

    • a combination of sparkle+sunday would be so good for hypercarry team. However, its doubtful if it can compete with robin variation. The crit% buff are welcoming but the cdmg buff is NOT. Well, if we’re going with sparkle+sunday, but robin+sunday? Then yes, the cdmg buff would be a great addition. IMO, its kind of a waste to use robin for hypercarry team. I’d rather use sparkle+sunday; comfier to use and sunday with his own LC will completely nullify any SP issue. But the big issue with sparkle+sunday team is the overbuffing cdmg

  3. I think it’s interesting they decided to test some stuff using Rappa.
    1) Icon change for youtube channel, maybe if it’s good they’ll do that in the future to remind people of the current rate up
    2) Pure music video trailer with no dialogue
    3) Plus the 1st person perspective ult

    Seems like all of the above indicates she’s a niche character like Jade, since they absolutely wouldn’t do that with a character like Feixiao. Just confused as to why now since I don’t think there are any super important characters coming up in Genshin or ZZZ at the same time?

  5. silver wolf is a pure dps tho :v she has 1/5th power of pela as defshred (<—math!) she has lowest hp+def, very slow, all her elondolons increase DPS not support (<–math!) bring her in to battle is ultimate pain as everything forcus her and 1 hit took 99% of her life

    the only way to justify silver wolf is pull her e6 while using WELT LC S5, as even adventurer can't save her paper def as 1 hit will eat through all the shields in the world (<–math!)
    only fuxuan can sustain silver wolf and FUXUAN IS 99% OUT META (<–math!)

    and i DO respect tectone and tyler1 for real, they are the bravest warriors in the world that dare to claim THEY ARE GOOD when everyone knows there is one person who trancended EVERYTHING in the world still living (and being hunted by 3rd world orphans) :v

Which also her e2 applies an addition debuff on the foe, which makes her e1 even better at the job of getting her ultimate back quickly. It legit allows her to get back her Ultimate faster. You know the thing that allows her to be a support. Silver Wolf has the higher defense shred. The max for Pela is 42%. Even Silver Wolf without whaling mind you, has 4% defense shred. Which not every fight is aoe. Some are single target or have minions so weak, your not going to use the defense shred on them. Also since you seem to be talking about a e6 Silver Wolf. She would no longer be just a debuffer but also a dps. now if it aoe. Yes Pela might be the more ideal choice, if you don’t have Firefox.

      Ok and what is even the meta? You know if your trying to sway someone to your point of view. It helps to explain why. Fu Xuan is still able to get the job done. Fu xuan gives crit stats and since you seem to be talking about whaling. Fu Xuan will give crit damage, also becomes much better at being able to deal out damage. Like even Seele was the meta in a recent pure fiction, thanks to the scatter blessing. You are aware the blessings change all the time? Like we have had ones that favor dot teams, single target, these who just hit alot. It always changing. Pulling base on meta is a good way to waste your money. Given here is the real secret to having an account that can handle everything. Build different teams. Hoolay in moc 12 can be beaten by Clara the standard banner character. You do not need the shiny brand new toy. Just build up your old ones. I doubt you even know what the meta is. Given you don’t even understand numbers of what silver wolf does.

    • So what is meta. Given you seem to claim to know alot. that somehow 45% defense shred is 1/5 of 42%. Maybe in certain aoe cases but single target? Which also silver Wolfe e1 gives more energy back after using ultimate, depending on how many debuffs are on the foe. The ultimate is the defense shred. While yes it does damage but it also lower defense, making it the support feature of her kit. By helping everyone do more damage. Her e1 is what lets be build as dps. Given it helps lower the effect hit rate she needs. Along with adding a debuff that can’t be removed. Which helps out her e1 by ensuring she can get max benefit from it.

Debuffing is seen as support. things Silver Wolf does. No Silver Wolf is not 1/5th of the power of Pela. 45% defense shred vs 42% at max for Pela. Unless your talking about aoe with 5 targets in play, in which case you should of stated that first. Other wise your statement comes off as very confusing. Which you want someone to get Welt lightcone, over her sig for a dps Silver Wolf? Which will not only give her more crit rate but also another debuff she can use, to make the whole party do more damage. Did you take into account that debuff and party wide damage?

      Also how the heck are you coming up with these numbers? For you claim to do math. Also saying someone is out of meta. Is not Math. That just a statement. WHich tend to have much higher defense stats than four stars. How in the world, do you have paper defense with a five star lightcone? Even Hanya can get decent defense stats, with a three star lightcone. Her base defense is lower than Silver Wolf. All I see is someone who likes to speak without thinking.

If your calling Silver Wolf very Slow. the same would apply to Pela and these two are not even the slowest characters in game going by default speed. Pela has lower hp then SIlver wolf. 1047 is higher than 987. Your fan fiction is not reality.

      Due Tingyun has lower hp and defense than Silver Wolf. 846 hp and 394 defense. That lower than silver wolf. your speaking out your ass.

      • The Exo toughness will also be incredible for E2 Firefly as it would mean you always get a 2nd action every time you break said exo toughness as it counts as a break. With RM and E1 5* Tingyun Firefly would have 250% weakness break efficacy as well.

          • so you need break enemies to trigger the effect? our HMC with they’re present on the field they already give us bunch of BE in case you don’t know. (E4 if i don’t mistaken- toph hat something-) but let’s see the beta and the changes. i really hope they make the exact same how our HMC easily gives us a bunch of BE by just standing idle.

            You get 1 stack on your first break, and it goes up from there. Because of the exo toughness breaks are going to be more broken than ever.

            ALso her skill gives break right from the get go too. As she has an advanced first turn and a free SP skill first skill, you’re always going to have it on your main breaker and as it’s single target it’s going to be a very very high amount of BE.

          • Going to give an example Of the difference between HMC and 5* TY.

            Superbreak if you didn’t know is actually weaker than break 100% vs 100%. Now ofc HMC does not just give 100% but even then it’s weaker. For example, if break deals 200k damage, superbreak at 100% will do around 100k. Idk the actual % but break is around 2x stronger than a superbreak at 100% at least for fire units. The reason why superbreak may seem as strong if not stronger, it because Firefly herself has superbreak in her kit and then you get HMC ontop of it. The actual superbreak you get there is like 210% vs 1 which is over that 2x.

            Now since TY does not just give superbreak but also exo toughness, i do expect her superbreak bonus to be lower than HMC’s max say 100% with no extra boost. (Unless it in an Eidolon but who knows.)

            Ok with that said. Enemies with exo toughness ARE still broken and do in fact still take superbreak damage ONTOP of the normal break damage unlike when you break for the first time where the only way to break and superbreak together is to have a multi hit move like HMC does.

            But, what does this mean? Well it means if you break the exo toughness not only do you get the 150% superbreak that comes with attacking broken enemies, but you also get another instance of full break damage.

            So with that lets do some quick calcs.

            With HMC
            Firefly breaks. This does base damage + break damage. Say base is 50k and break is 200k this will be a 250k damage attack.
            Firefly superbreaks. This does base damage + both Firefly’s and HMC Superbreak for 210% total. This will do 50k base + 210k superbreak for a 260k damage attack.

            Total damage for Break + Superbreak over 2 attacks is 510k.

            With TY + minimum 20% def red ontop of it.
            Firefly breaks. This does base damage + break damage. Say base is 60k and break is 240k this will be a 300k damage attack.
            Firefly breaks again + super breaks. This does base damage + break damage + 150% supebreak damage. This will do 60k base + 240k break + 180k superbreak for a 480k damage attack.

            Total damage over 2 attacks is 780k.

            Now, this is minimum Imo. As we know HMC only gives 2 things. Some break effect and superbreak. But TY is likely to offer more. She may also gain more break effect, break effect damage bonus and the def red she applies via skill debuff may be above 20%, she may also offer more superbreak than i am stating and also if you get E1 give bonus weakness break efficacy. The sky is honestly the limit. THe TY i have put there is already over 50% better than HMC Firefly damage wise. But in truth it could be 100%+.

    • HSR dailies are very good but I honestly still find weekly DU to be unpleasant to do. Dailies are probably better in ZZZ if you don’t care and just let battery pile up, stack coffees, etc and occasionally drain it when you have the time. But yeah the general experience is excellent, the best I’ve seen overall.

      I don’t see the point of deleting the acc either unless you are addicted beyond help and wish to sever your ties permanently. Because you can always come back as long as the servers are running, that’s the good thing with live service models.

      • i also dislike DU but it is only few jades and can be skipped entirely because the drop rate is abysmal after you complete your build anyway, i farmed DU 2 months and only got a shitty atk orb for my feixao

        this is a true “gacha” game in the meaning it is a powercreep game aka pull meta to win, you can skip everything entirely then comeback and pull the latest meta unit, just 1dps+1support and instantly beat every contents without sweat, and actually it is the right way to play. Imagine people pulled e6 seele, e6 jingyuan, e6 blade, e6 luocha, e6 silverwolf and now deal 1/10th dps of a single copy of FF, i would pull my hair out if i were them, if you are the unluckiest addict you already lost 2500×5=12500 usd because of addiction

        hsr is obviously not perfect because gacha is a PREDATOR core designed to suck preys dry, but is is the most honest one in the market, if you have enough “power” it will let you auto everything without losing any precious braincell which i don’t have many left 😂zzz is a game mostly made for streamers and i would rather watch them lose their braincells trying to parry darksoul style than play it myself 😂the weakness of hsr is it is a unstreamable game but that reason is irrelevant for uncaring and uncool unbrained like me 😂

        • Well I think you over looked something. If you look at the newer units in general. They have much more powerful extra copies. This goes true for four stars as well. March 7th hunt edition is much stronger than Sushang. Sushang has no consistence way of triggering the break effect bonuses of her kit. You would need to relay on team mates to do that or only bring her into certain fights. While March can better put to use the break effect part of her kit. Due to not being limited to being able to deal toughness damage to a single type. March 7th hunt parties can be much more flexible. ALlowing you to take characters that work well together, rather than forcing you to use only certain units.

          Which also Silver Wolf is a support, that becomes able to do dps. Comparing her to Fire fly? It would be better to compare her to someone like harmony Mc or Linghsa or even Robin. Given remember the benefit of a dps SIlver Wolf is not just dps, it elemental weakness and the ability to performance defense shred, which makes everyone do more damage. A character with support features, is a bit different from a pure dps. Which Also Firefly has only two stats she really need to care about. Three if you count attack % but raw break effect is so much better than attack%. So she needs Speed and break effect. Your done. Other dps need crit rate crit damage, a bit of speed. Throw in some attack %. Well look at what we have here. Four or three stats vs only two to three. Firefly is simply easy to build. That why she can get alot of big numbers. Other characters can also perform big numbers. They just need more time and effort put into it. Your run of the mill Firefly, due to being easier to build. Is going to seem more impressive next to other characters who are harder to build.

          Also Seele has been clearing pure fiction with 40k as of late. Just go to Seele mains and you can see it indeed possible. She been doing this in modern pure fictions. If someone Whale Seele. She would still be useful. Clearing pure fiction, good IN shadows depending on the boss and solid in moc. I doubt they would be unhappy. unless they are someone that must zero cycle everything. They will still be clearing the content and getting the jades. Speaking of whales. It does take some level of knowledge to use these characters. Have you seen techtone use Firefly? Go she suck, she awful. When all he did with her was basic attack. You know the character your meant to use skill twice to get ultimate back with? Then go insane dps mode with? Some people can make any character look bad. Due to having no idea how to use them. Now picture a much harder to use character like Seele,. Yeah some people are just bad at this game.

          There is also artifact level to take into account. Given how rng it is. I could have the same cast of characters as you and be doing fine. While you could be struggling due to having weaker relics. That or someone keeps trying to use characters that don’t work well together, which could be their whole issue. March 7th can work well with Clara, Robin or on your run of the mill break effect team. While the person in question might be trying to a healer, two shielders in the party and a random dps that has zero access to buffs. Lots of things that can effect Then wonder why it takes forever to clear any content. Heck there is a few people who get stuck on the story version of phantylia for months. Yes the boss that gives you the lightning lord, who is rather good at dealing with the boss. You just need a healer or if your account is not well build, maybe someone else like fire mc but you can get it done. Some people suck at this game.

          Which when it comes to moc. We see it all the time. Hp goes up when there is a powerful blessing at play. Hp goes down when there is weaker blessing at play or when there is a blessing few can make use of. Also you don’t understand power creep. Power creep is not a unit being stronger than another. Look at yu-gi-oh. When that game first release a normal monster with 600 attack was a big deal. Then it creep up to 1200, making 600 attack monsters worthless. Then you got 1800 attack, 1850 attack, 1900 normal attack monsters. Skip ahead to modern day. A high attack value on a normal monster means nothing. Unless that normal monster is part of some big combo plan, that lets you bring out a big boss monster or shut down the foe field. it not worth playing. For yu-gi-oh now has so many different spells and effect monsters. You can summon a whole field of monsters in a single turn. Rendering all the other character useless, for they simply can’t keep up. That is real power creep. It makes the older character useless, unplayable, due to the massive power gap. That has not happen in star rail yet. Seele can still clear content. Same for lightning Lord. Also you didn’t give any real numbers. so x to doubt they do less than a e0 Firefly. Given Firefly doesn’t do much damage unless she pair up with Harmony Mc for the super break effect status. that why every single firefly team has harmony mc. it lets Firefly put out big damage, due to having a good buffer. In that case it would only be fair to pair up the others with a good buffer as well.

          Which as it stands right now. They clearly tailor things for certain parties. Current Moc is break effect/follow up attack focus. Clara can put in alot of damage on the second half, due to how many times the boss and minions can attack. That right. A standard banner character can take down the new boss. My Clara is only 70% crit rate, 100% crit damage. In party with March, Robin and Fu xuan she got the job done. She does get alot of bonus crit damage from her fellow party members. Making her into a monster, even with her not having the highest crit value stats. Sure wasn’t the fastest clear around but she still got the job done. I even beat the second half with Seele. the second half in moc 12 is just not favorable to alot of teams. While moc first half, is very favorable to firefly. Due to everything being set up to be almost perfect for her. Of course she going to do bloody well when thrown against enemies are that tailor made to be destroy by her. Give it a patch or two and things will change against. High damage single target will be the meta again. IF you have a variety of characters. You can easily handle the shifts in the end game modes. For heck it was not long ago, when they had a pure fiction bonus that heavily favorite Seele. Letting her get 40k points in that mode like it was nothing. It more like, each patch will have a different flavor of the month.

Not with Harmony mc? Given Harmony Mc never leaves her teams. due to simply well. letting her do big damage thanks to super break effect, being one of the best damage buffs in the game.

        • Have you personally tested these damage numbers or just hypebolt? Given Firefly e0 damage sucks without Harmony mc to back them up. Like did you just treat dps as solo without buffs but then treat Firefly as a character with a buffer? Also Firefly needs Mei, otherwise enemies will act again and destroying their toughness bars takes time. Which can lower how well she performs. Firefly is nothing without her team mates.

        • Also forgot to add. one of firefly important team mates is Mei and she is a very old unit, yet plays a big massive role in Firefly teams. So bs, new units are always the best. Mei became better once break effect became a thing.

I appreciate you also, during my career of the game, nowhere else was a better environment for talking about the game itself, I don’t need to argue with fools who also view me as a fool, but we simply exchange math and logic and come into a common ground, this is how the exchange of opinions is supposed to be.

        I don’t usually talk about emotions, but I can’t deny I have emotionally connected with my in-game characters so deeply I almost view them as real friends, I want to stay in contact with them and sincerely wish for their well being. This all goes into vanity when I realize someday I’m but than a wallet to be robbed with. The last time I see Seele and Kafka in the story is a long faded memory, they now exert fewer presence than the garbage cans in Penocany. Instead, the current banner character is the most represented, and the dev’s favorites follow, the astral crews rarely get a spotlight and the off-banner limited are nearly sealed away from your perspective of the world by some reason, be it anything but their personal will. There will be more and more characters to be promotioned with and tossed away by the devs following the fate of their precursors, so you can eventually forget about them and fall in love with a new fancy one. To dodge it you either like someone that the devs also do, or don’t like anyone in the first place.

        Here, I come up with the conclusion that I have to cede it. To do some choice as hard as deleting my account, this is how I cede something I emotionally connected with. Since then, it costs more to reconnect than to leave it disconnected. I only have to wait for myself to recover from the disconnection and be 100% HP again. Next time I won’t be so vulnerable, maybe I will spend more of my emotions to the real people than to the fictional ones.

          also this game is an exceptionally welt built trap, i did fall for it and loved seele but after i saw what they did with jingyuan i stopped watching all their trailers, videos and concerts and started using leak sites to judge characters strength and only view characters as pieces of data, subsequently i benched seele forever and never use *that piece of data* again

          the second sign that made me stop all emotional connection is the advent of JADE (as most people here knew) fisrt time they made a unit totally useless at e0 (=5* at e1), 50% weaker without signaure (THEIR FANBASE WENT AS FAR AS SAYING HERTALC IS GOOD ON HER, SHAMELESS LIE–>prydwen!), oh ok i vent enough, another unit with that trap is Jiaoqiu (e2) but thats old information no one care anymore

          ofcourse im not good at gacha as true devs, but if you ever got tempted to play gacha again, ONLY PLAY A GAME THAT YOU CAN GET IN ITS CLOSE BETA, no matter how hot trend the game is, it is not for you if you can’t get a head start, lets say you got to choose between girls frontline 2 and …nevernesstoeverness, if you can get early access nen immediatly choose the lesser game and delete the big hot trendy reskin, they are just gacha 1 vs gacha 2.

        • I resonate with what Dazz say’s word for word.I really do love Hsr i’d farm for hours on end with no sleep when needed just to get more Jades,Exp,Materials etc. I always viewed the characters in game as People i can talk and laugh to, it feels like something i’ve never experienced irl but even thru a game its just WOW! slowly i started to see how repetitive Hsr was becoming always pulling up new 5 star characters left,right and center,ESP RIGHT after they released a new one and we never get a proper planned story to spend time with them and even if that happens once you finished it, you finished it…

          They are never brought up again and you just continue to forget about them as you play along.Im someone who likes Blade and Boothill(Hes getting Screen time atm) But its been quite a While since we last saw Blade or even interacted with him, better yet interact with him for the story.

          It feels like Hyv just has favorites here and there and once that favorite dies down(That being Raiden shogun from Genshin or Ayaka) they no longer want to associate anything with them or even try to bring them back with some sort of fun event just like the Chasm event with Xiao,Yelan,Itto,Kuki shinobu,Yangfei etc. I just wish Hyv saw us as people not just wallets to steal from that also being understanding how important a character can be to someone.

          Thats not all it includes the story too, ngl the minute i found us just going from world to world without a proper reason(Yes i understand to trailblaze and saving others but they really needed to show that more) I just knew….They could have continued with the story but letting us know our past since Blade clearly mentioned it before in a special quest but ever since it hasn’t been brought up not even ONCE.I just feel like the story is all over the place and not being centered around a certain thing, that being our PAST!

          I do praise Hyv for the Turn-based mechanic but if their gonna keep taking us like puppies on a leash then i’m not even gonna bother try playing it, i really feel bad for people being brainwashed by hyv since they even did this with Genshin until it all fell apart.We’ll just have to wait and see where Hsr is going with this

          • In star rail unlike genshin. You can visit there characters most of the time, even when the story ends. be it out in the world or in your ship. Now when it comes to pulling. That is more on the content creators than the game. Everyone knows these characters will come back in a rerun. It just content creators pushing almost every single characters as godly or grand. A must pull can’t skip, op broken. account ruined without x unit. Only to then go, time to swipe again boys, that character I said can’t be power creep got power creep. It not even the game pressuring people into rolling, it the other players/content creators doing so.

            Given if you don’t care about end game modes. There is legit nothing in game you can’t do with whatever might be your current cast of characters. Heck they added a casual mode for story stuff. Which when it comes to events. The test characters, as poorly put together as they are. Can still get the content done. Like the game does less to pressure you into pulling compare to the player base.

  8. Hey guys, I’m quiting this game and already applied to delete my hoyo pass. When I start the game I expect exciting Sci-Fi adventures for the long run, but the story is rather a runway of characters, there are simply so many fancy characters to be shown off and have you pull for them. Most enter the stage and quit it quickly when the banner is closed, and rarely return or get any personal growth in the future, save for some devs’ favorites, not even those of high popularity like Kafka can be excepted. Not to mention the story isn’t what I expected, there is no much Sci-Fi flavor save for some text you may find in the corners but that doesn’t scratch my itch for Sci-Fi. For most of the time I spend into the game, I farm relics, calc damage, argue with someone about something, fight the MoC and like to test my theories, but that’s not what I asked for in the first place, and the MoC is keep growing in HP to match up with the power you gained. The game burdened me more than it amused me. So do not expect me to stay active on this site in the future. Many else will do the calc and analyse for you. My total microtransactions to the game was ~2,421 USD.

    But before I stay perpetual silent, I will do something I promised. To break it down the super break comp and tell you who TY will replace.
    1. The HTB excels at post-break effect. No HTB, no post-break effect. They have next to no toughness damage contribution to the team when the enemies are not Imaginary weak.
    2. Ruan Mei buffs post-break effect as well, but if you don’t have a post-break effect, you have nothing to buff with. She also has some toughness damage contribution if you count as hers the additional toughness damage dealt when RM’s buff is present.
    3. The sustainer excels as toughness damage contribution and just a bit buff to post-break effect.

    So who TY will replace? That depends on what does TY excels at.

    1. If TY also excels at post-break effect but has next to no toughness damage contribution to the team or her toughness damage isn’t enough to compensate the losses of the absence of RM, then:
    – Replacing the HTB with TY would be a total upgrade over the old recipe.
    – Drop RM and keep the HTB, the team has insane post-break effect but the toughness damage is a bit lacking, you may need a bit longer to break the enemies, but the damage after they are broken is stupid high, almost instant-kill.
    – Drop the sustainer and keep both RM and the HTB, the team is clunky without Imaginary weak, the toughness damage is simply not enough and many of Firefly’s enhanced skills will go to the toughness meter.
    In this case the answer is clear. Replacing the HTB would be an all-round upgrade, while replacing RM is something like trading some armor penetration for some extra explosive load, which is effective when the enemies have increased HP but lowered toughness.

    2. If TY excels at post-break effect and toughness damage contribution, and she may compensate the losses of the absence of RM, then:
    – Replacing the HTB with TY then the team’s overall toughness damage will be much greater than the old recipe, but the post-break effect is questionable depending on the calculations.
    – Drop RM and keep the HTB, the team is overall stronger than the old recipe and should work well if the enemies have HP furtherly increased but the toughness meters are unchanged.
    – Drop the sustainer and keep both RM and the HTB, the team’s break damage should be a bit lower than before but the post-break effect is insane.
    In this case, replacing RM would be an all-round upgrade, while replacing RM is something like trading some explosive loads for armor penetration, which is effective when the enemies have increased toughness but the HP isn’t that great.

    So, you guys simply need to look at the numbers. If TY’s super break is something like 100% or 120% and her toughness damage is low or unreliable, then it is the case 1. If TY’s super break is something like 30% or 50% and her toughness damage is somewhere near 20 per EBA or 30 per EBA or she has break efficiency then it is the case 2.

    Noteably, no matter the cases, if FF is E6 then replacing anyone in the team is acceptable since she already has a built-in RM. In addition, if the intel that TY has break efficiency in E1 and next to no personal toughness damage is accurate, then E0 TY belongs to case 1, while E1 TY belongs to case 2.

    • Sorry to hear about you quitting. I’ve quit some games to save money in the long run but tbh i enjoy SR too much to stop playing atm. I love turn based games, always have and i hate that they really get made anymore compared to when i was younger. This games just really for me.

      As far as TY goes. As far as we know she does have high toughness damage. She only skills once every 3 turns and she gets an enhanced normal attack during said 3 turns. Which means she won’t cost or gain much SP but probably do comparable toughness damage to HMC. But unlike HMC as long as you play her with Firefly Tingyun will always do toughness.

      Also since TY may be break damage + super break damage, HMC damage bonus will fall right off Imo. Plus since her delay will probably be useless due to Tingyuns own… she really offers very little with Tingyun around.

TBH i wouldn’t delete my account personally especially if I put 2k USD into it just in case I change my mind. I quit for a month then came back for firefly.       But yeah I agree. I second that Hoyo is dropping the ball with the story, it became painfully apparent when they spent an entire patch just setting up Firefly with MC. The character runaway in particular is spot on, and it blights so many, actually scratch that, EVERY gacha game there is. They just have to introduce some no namer, and act like everyone knows em, and how important and glamorous they are.

      This is really annoying and impossible to ignore in this MoC & Pure Fiction iteration. Even with Weapons and Eidolons, it feels like such an uphill battle. Mainly because hoyo shoots HP bars to the moon, and balances it with equally strong blessings. But it just feel so bad for people who are passionate about pushing damage and 0 cycles.

      I still personally believe HSR is the best gacha game tho, mainly since dailes don’t feel like a chore.

      • HP and power increase in MoC is rough… I just did MoC 9 (yes only floor 9) with Lynx, Luka, Guinaifen and Kafka and lost a character twice… xO This kind of team could do floor 11 without sweating before.

        The more the game goes, the more the 4* characters are going to be irrelevant outside of Gallagher, Pela and Tingyun =( I can’t really enjoy my 4* characters the way I want. I don’t even remeber the last time I play my Asta ;_; At least, hypercarry Serval is still doing fine for overworld and TBpower stuff =3

      The game itself has never really been that engaging from the start, or as soon as you realize how terrible skill point system is.
      Pretty much every fight feels monotone because DPS characters will spam the same skill and supports spam basic hit.
      I just recently went back to play Darkest Dungeon 2 and it really shows just how much I’ve been blinded by HSR’s visual to almost forget how fun turn based game can be.

      But yes, not a big fan of direction HSR is heading with characters development as well. Many times we got teased with Trailblazer’s and March’s origin only to get the tiniest of crumbs and no real answer. I’d get annoyed for a while, then distracted by a new shiny 5 star characters. Every. Single. Time.
      Too much screen times are dedicated to promote new characters that even the main casts barely get development.

      • Well skill points depends on the team. Since some teams are very tight on skill points. Where you will have to make a choice between using a skill point, to maybe get some more damage in or saving it for someone else, due to thinking they might make better use of it. Now I think you forgot Sparkle. The character that spams skill rather than basic attack, then use ultimate to keep spamming skill. But yeah there are some teams which are like what you detail. Dps go brrr. Supports basic attack, use ultimate or sometimes use skill but only when you have spare skill points.

        Well when it comes to static characters. There is nothing wrong with them. Just depends on how they are used. Superman tends to be a famous case of a static character. Always good and upright. Of course in that case, you do tend to have people who challenge Superman on some level. Be in beliefs or world view. Letting you get a deeper understanding of why they remain who they are. Rather than changing.

    Hoyo wants people to shell out for the premium 5* break supporter now, and not to mention it’s time for a newMC path soon with 3.0 coming up. Honestly TY2 is just harmony in disguise but I get why they made her nihility, at this point nihility could just be anything
