StoryThis is the edge of the Asdana system. The ocean of memoria roars with mountainous waves and she, like a singular tiny spark, may be doused at any moment in the storm.
“For one who cannot dream to enter the Synesthesia Dreamscape, they would have to pay a price comparable to death.”
She can still hear her companions’ concerned voices next to her ears. She takes a deep breath and dives into the Memory Zone.
As the vessel silently sinks into the depth of the Memory Zone, small pinpricks of firefly lights dissipate from the cracks and are then immediately swallowed up by the endless darkness.

“Wherefore do you hurtle unto death?”
In the ocean of memoria that grows deeper and deeper, the weak light emitted by the Memory Zone creatures are like faraway eyes that nonchalantly glance at her.

Dreams remained too distant for her. She gazes emptily out at the boundless darkness, her body and soul having reached the breakdown threshold long ago under the heavy pressure of memoria. Though she realizes her consciousness is gradually fading, only those remaining memories are playing over and over in her brain —
The Swarm that covered the sky tore through the frontline defenses as she flew towards the Swarm while enveloped in fire. The charred ash of the Swarm faded like snow, under which lies the pitch-black carcasses of the knights.
She didn’t even have the time to take a bouquet and offer her final acknowledgement to knights, who were dying one after another. Their lives bloomed in the blink of an eye and went out equally fleetingly. Like a string of genetic code, they never possessed names and only had numbers allotted instead.

“Wherefore do you live?”
In the deathly silence, like flames dissolving in the sea, she is reduced to a singular spot of fire and unendingly progresses towards the light…
She opens her eyes after what seems to be forever. She sees the “future” looking like a pearl, radiating with a soft and vague light. Tears stream down her face —
“I do it to find… my own ‘dream’…”

  1. On the Fall of an Aeon is better for her at this point. As I calculated, she will have ~330-335 Break Effect (With Harmony Caelus and Ruan Mei in the team) by using On the Fall of an Aeon + Break Effect necklace or Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest + Atk% necklace. There is no need to use Break Effect necklace + Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest. You will get too much Break Effect that way. You can find 25-30 more Break Effect from substat anyway. But On the Fall of an Aeon provides more Atk% and Bonus Damage. This LC needs to be buffed asap.

If they don’t change it, I recommend yall using On the Fall of an Aeon for her and pull Ruan Mei’s LC instead.

    • what about misha’s lc? i feel like even though she was a breaker, the dmg she dealt after breaking is not that much and with misha’s lc she would have great uptime as her ult is really cheap

  4. For what it’s worth, the secondary effect is Dmg Amp (Vulnerability-type debuff), not just a plain Dmg Inc stat. That’s a raw 1.15x multiplier.

In theory, it should also feed into the bulk of damage that she can deal through HTB’s Super Break.

    • You’re correct, it does buff both super break and non-break damage, which is pretty good. However, it’s not a true 1.15x multiplier for Firefly because her enhanced skill does have a 12% dmg amp if the target is broken when attacked (listed in her ultimate so it’s really easy to miss!). It does also apply to the entire team’s damage though, and for them it IS a 1.15x multiplier.

You do have to do break damage to the enemy before the effect happens though, which means Firefly with this cone REALLY wants to be the one to break the enemy, but HTB may be necessary for adding consistency.

      • But doesn’t part of FF enhanced skill include 0.5 times her break effect in her multiplier? does that not count as break damage?

  5. Currently, Indelible Promise is the best light-cone for Xueyi. This one is even better for sure.

    • tbh i agree, the break effect is cracked and the DMG vulnerability is also cracked but the speed effect seems a bit mediocre. i’m sure they’ll change it in later beta

  7. would this light-cone fix Xueyi? I have a well balance Xueyi with 50% critrate and around 175% critdmg, but her BreakEffect is only 150%

    • its probably better than herta shop one but imo not enough for it to be worth pulling just for xueyi, and maybe not even firefly herself

the spd reduction could be bad in some situations

    • The best way to “fix” your Xueyi is to build HTB and run her with RM and HTB.

This Lightcone is very good in that team, but it already does great without it. I wouldn’t try pulling for it
