Honestly, March seems like the most interesting of the three 2.4 characters. Yunli seems to be like Clara but with more of a focus on damage rather than survivability and Jiaoqiu’s kit seems to be Gui’s firekiss cranked up.
In contrast, March looks like a really unique unit and a great support hunt. If her Skill’s effect stays permanent, she’ll be extremely SP positive too, just use it at the start to set Master and then spam basics, ults and enhanced basics for the rest of the fight until everything’s dead. Even if there’s no imaginary weakness, her A4 renders that issue more or less moot.
i know hoyo is a chinese company but as a chinese person all i can think this “who does this cracker think she is lmao”
So do you think march 7th is appropriating Xianzhou culture or some sh*t.
Bro thinks he represents a whole culture
I know Hoyo is a Chinese company but as an American, I think Boothill is cool and actually rocking that cowboy getup and the way he handles his revolver is sexy.
Yeah Boothill, an cyborg cowboy? Heck it like a good mix of the wild west with science fiction thrown together. Which going by their trailer. did a damn fine job at it. Along with his theme song.
I know Hoyo is a Chinese company but as a British person all I can think about Screwllum this “this clanker doesn’t have enough knives”
“From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh,
it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine.
Your kind cling to your flesh, as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass that you call a temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, for the Machine is immortal…
…even in death I serve the Omnissiah.”
BTW Musketeer is easily her best set. 2pc Atk% is nice, 4pc basic attack damage increase is perfect for her. Now for the important part of musketeer, the 6% speed buff. She has a 107 base speed, with the 6% from musketeer, the 10% speed buff from her traces and speed boots, she gets to about 149 speed without any speed subs! 149 speed gets her near to some really good speed breakpoints and is up to the player for how much they really want. More speed > more actions > more basics > more charges > more enhanced basics.
So 4 star jade she seems pretty good
Out of the three characters in 2.4, march stands out as being the most unique one.
Jia looks to be a stronger Guinaifen while Yinlin is Clara 2.0
And looking at Marchs initial kit, i gotta say, there is nothing here to dislike. She ticks all my boxes of being a future proof unit (High Scaling, Abuse potential, multiple team synergies).
She is a sub-DPS, topaz-style, with focus in either Break or normal crit. She favors teammates that do fast actions, follow-ups, and extra actions in order to gain stacks for her Enhanced Basic. She has high scalings on her Enhanced Basic, has SP positive gameplay, high toughness Dmg due to her trace and abilities, slight spd buffs, and incredibly comfy energy rotations. Theres so many things going on in her kit that makes it really good.
The only nerf i can think of that would cripple March, would be if they turned her skill buff to no longer be permanent, thus you have to reapply it.
Yinlin? I think you mean Yunli xdxd
“Zapstring, parry thy fool.”
Lmao
Will we be given her eidolons like with Trailblazer or do they just carry over from her ice preservation form?
There will be an event giving us up to E3
She should be a new character, like Inbibitor Lunae no?
It works similarly to how TB can swap paths.
Nah she’s just like Trailblazer. She can change paths in her character screen. If she was an entirely different character like in DHIL’s case, she would have different ascension mats
Wait, you can do a superbreak team with her : Firefly, HMC, March Hunt and Gallagher as master.
With her traces, she can destroy the bar of a fire weak enemy without being weak to imaginary and thx to gallagher as master, her basics destroy the toughness bar. (it’s only goes from 30 to 60 but it’s still good imo)
The only down side is the dmg multiplier of break imaginary, it’s the lowest with quantum.
WWWW MARCH 7TH >>>>>>>>
this kit honestly stands out to me as my favourite of the update; nobody should EVER complain about being late to getting dr ratio when we get THIS for free
i love how she’s versatile enough to be a sub dps, a standard crit dps AND a super breaker, while being excellent at performing all her roles
as a crit dps, at e6 she can do up to 1056% of her atk per ult on her enh basic, which is frankly a huge amount of damage to be outputting, its basically stronger than an argenti ult in st
as a break dps, she actually holds the new record for the highest toughness damage dealt in a single action: 240 toughness, meaning she’s going to do a substantial amount of super break dmg – this is before ruan mei btw????
and i absolutely love the jade design mentality – she like, doesnt use sp. like ever. its great. and the advance also still leaves room for skill expression. great to see they didnt make a 4* dan heng kit (i still like 4* dan heng’s kit design esp as a 1.0 char its fine, march just >>>>)
i also think the way her a4 works is actually very interesting and i really like it. it doesnt negate the whole enemy weakness matching gimmick but rather plays into it by incentivising it more, without being flat out toughness ignore. i wish we had more like this honestly
my main gripes are her base atk being so freaking low – lower than jiaoqiu??? hello?????? like she deserves at least that much imo. and that huge toughness damage that frankly i dont like the toughness powercreep thats been happening since, well, since dhil honestly, and ruan mei just exacerbated the issue.
now that we’re getting break related chars whose whole kit revolves around getting enemies into the weakness broken state the toughness powercreep really is a lil absurd now. hopefully we get a 4* char who increases the team’s wbe soon, or even just toughness damage by a flat amount i’ll take
in conclusion, march was, is, and will always be best girl.
poor dhil dude’s pull value was alr on the floor after ratio but now it just went through the floor down to the very depths of the abyss
DHIL’s increased Toughness shred made sense considering the SP he was consuming, but it sure is looking a little lacking now. 120/60 for 3 SP vs FF’s 135/67.5 (RM excluded) for 1 SP, with absurd SPD btw. And she can drastically reduce her SP cost thanks to E1, while DHIL actually ends up guzzling more with E2 (avg SP cost per turn goes up from 2.33 to 3).
I understand correctly, that March on max stacks after 2 ults with damaging path char as her master deals 1560% damage with her enchanced basic attack? If that so, and we getting actually strong 4* Hunt, its just insane. I hope she won’t be nerfed too much
I dont think thats how it works.
The 7 Stacks required is seperate from the hits per action.
So basically, at base it has 3 Hits (300% dmg)
After ult, it will have 5 hits (500% dmg)
RNG will gain either extra 0-3 hits (lets assume she gains all 3 aftee ult, so 800%)
At E3, it will be 880%
Even then, this is one of the highest scaling attacks in the game
Move over Boothill and Firefly. It March 8th time to shine
