can anyone specify what they mean by ability? is it only debuff stuff or anything is an ability?
For example, Serval can apply shock with skill, so it’s count as debuff and activate condition. Herta just strike enemy and can’t active effect. Effect can’t work with bonus attack since it required to actively use basic attack/skill/ultimate. However, any unit has a chance to activate it when break enemy toughness with an ability since break can apply dot or other debuff based on break weakness.
Here are the Erudition units who should trigger the effect outside of weakness break:
– Anaxa (Weakness types forcefully implanted are registered as debuffs)
– Serval (applies Shock DoT)
– Himeko (applies Fire DoT although the chance is very low so it’s unreliable)
So debuff must be applied by the ability, or there should be a debuff when the ability is used? (debuffed during period could also means they currently have debuff? english is weird). Wording doesn’t specifically said “The ability should be the one to apply debuff”.
does this work with serval? does her skill’s shock counts towards the debuff?
yes shock counts as a debuff
lmao the LC effect is extremely specific. Why don’t they just write “If the wearer is Anaxa”
Not really, a lot of character could use it and it’s way more flexible than Castorice LC
