  1. In the combat demo video she do 9 attacks in single ult, But in the description she only gain 3 ink stack and consume 1 per attack.

    • According to some showcase videos I’ve seen across the internet, she does three consecutive attacks in her Basic ATK, and after using the third one, consumes 1 Ink stack. The process repeats until all the Ink stacks are used. It’s like she loads up bullets that with every hit deals three consecutive bouts of damage.

      I don’t know how best to explain it to you but if anyone can clarify for me, feel free.

      – Who? She came out of nowhere. She has no story, no background, no hype
      – She looks out of place. Even if you like the design, still looks stridently different than anyone else we have in the game
      – Her kit is bland. No new mechanics. Just AoE Firefly. Already the most boring auto play character. Takes valuable supports.
      – Erudition. Most boring path, for the most boring game mode. Hey I guess they made a boring boss for her… w/e. Can’t wait to watch Acheron still do better or sum

      Most importantly, it’s a filler patch. Everyone knows that. We’re getting Sunday. Herta is on the lookout. Tingyun as well. Why settle for this dweeb?? Her reruns will make more than her LMAO

        She just looks like a side character passing the HSR universe.
        I only wonder if there is any relationship between her and Boothill aside from being both Galaxy Rangers but storymode will probably answer that

          • Yeah was given at least a nod and wink to. Not much but it exists. Which given how people were going 2.4 and 2.5 was going to be a filler patch. Then we get major story elements drop on us. Unless there is no major story happening. I will wait and see on 2.6 being filler. That and wait to see what reruns will happen.

        • Combining two motifs is some of the most common character design ever. Guess Firefly shouldn’t be Sam because Kamen Rider henshin heroes are handsome men 90% of the time. Star Rail is a sci-fi universe, why do people use regular swords? Have you not seen ninjas in pop culture? I think her design is just meh, for the record, but it’s not inherently a bad design idea. Ironic because fans always praise Hoyo for making “unique designs” and “combining ideas”.

      • its really sad to see everyone hating on rappa imo – i personally really like her

        – she got the boothill introduction where we get crumbs the patch before release
        – i LOVE her design and overall aesthetic, it reminds me a lot of silver wolf’s with that punk-like attitude and like what’s not to love about colourful ninja graffiti galaxy ranger? doesnt feel out of place
        – her being a galaxy ranger yet having such a different aesthetic and vibe than boothill is incredibly interesting and opens the door for the limitless possibilities that a galaxy ranger might have
        – “no new mechanics” her entire talent??? i really love the concept of breaking one enemy’s toughness and seeing everyone become weakness broken like a chain reaction of weakness breaks
        – the erudition path as a whole has several interesting characters already – jade, namely i find her kit design is really coherent and works quite well, but also herta/himeko are really fun, himeko especially i enjoy how her charge stacks require adaptability with different characters for different weaknesses – she made fire tb good at one point
        – her ANIMATIONSSSS are suPERB and her EBA doesnt look too shabby either – they’re so bright and colourful and just. graffiti looks awesome

        that said i do completely get why ppl dont rlly like her and her patch is the first slow one in the history of star rail – superb for everyone except for hoyo money-wise

      • -Welcome to gacha games. Characters just “come out of nowhere”. Where’s the line? Are mentions of upcoming characters and locations “out of nowhere”?
        -She doesn’t look that out of place. I swear you all complain when a character design is too safe, but then when you get a more radically design decry it as “out place”.
        -Similarly, not every character is going to be broken. Should they make a character worthwhile to pull? Sure, but I 100% know you all will complain about power creep if she was better than Acheron, to use your example. Could they make her more unique? Sure, I’ll give you that. Also, multi-team modes are a thing.
        -Filler patches are bound to happen. Thought you all wanted them to “take their time” with big content? Which doesn’t really happen btw, gacha games are a pipeline of content meant to keep player bases playing so they can make more money. Not every patch is going to be a huge content drop.

  3. i kinda confused PLS ANSWER.
    rappa enchance basic atk gain extra 50%break effeciency & toughness reduction ignore enemy weakness type,but to imaginary enemy rappa deal 50% less toughness reduction.

    so 100%+50%+ruanmei=200%-50%=100%.

    fire fly inflict fire weakness so her toughness reduction always at 100% value + ruan mei=150%toughness reduction.

    so in the end even with ruan mei rappa can only deal 100% toughness reduction to non imaginary enemy.

    in result her superbreak dmg is lower than firefly cuz of toughness reduction is not increase at all?(to non imaginary enemy)

    but its opposite if enemy has imaginary weakness , toughness reduction is same as firefly?
    or if you have e2 rappa.

    • it is most likely going to work like :

      100% normal toughness damage to imaginary weak enemies without Ruan Mei.

      against non imaginary weak enemies its 50%.
      Ruan mei makes that 75% to non imaginary weak enemies unless you get E2 which will become 150% toughness bar damage due to E2 be calculated first, then Ruan mei , because E2 will be part of her kit and Ruan Mei’s effect comes in after you join a battle.
      (at least that’s what i believe.)

      • I misread a little:

        whille in her ult, at E2, she gets effectively 100% more toughness bar damage , so its : 100% normal -> 200% against imaginary enemies in Ult form at E2 -> 300% with Ruan Mei ( i think i might be wrong after reading the kit again) or 250% ( most likely ) if it works the otherway and both Ruan Mei and Rappa’s ult stack instead of calculated one after another.

        against non-imaginary weak enemies it’s : 50% normal ->100% in ult form at E2 -> 150% or 125% with Ruan Mei.

        without E2 you basically miss an extra 50% on imaginary weak enemies so it will be double in ult form instead of 2.5x of normal toughness bar damage and 25% of toughness bar damage against non-imaginary weak enemies , which is normal toughness bar damage.

        at E0 makes it so you have the Ruan Mei effect on you without having Ruan Mei on your team and E2 makes you have 2 Ruan Mei’s in ult form.

        • Her E2 basically gets rid of the penalty to toughness damage against non imaginary weak enemies, so she just does the same toughness against weak and non weak enemies.

          “Modifies toughness damage” and “weakness break efficiency” are two separate buckets that multiply with one another and stack additively within themselves. RM +50% and her ult’s +50% WBE add together for +100% (same way firefly works); her -50% toughness against non weak enemies at e0 is in the 1st bucket so with RM she does 200% toughness against weak enemies and 100% against non weak. At E2 she would do 200% against both weak and non weak.

          • Aaah, gotcha, i , again, missread a little.

            at E2 she just ignores the weakness when it comes to the toughness bar.
            when it comes to E2 with Ruan Mei, it just means you are frankly in the same realm as firefly with Ruan Mei except you reduce the adjacent enemies and all enemies at the same rate instead of slightly slower break.

            It just makes it faster if you need to break more then 1 elite and you are more guarantee to one-shot mobs, specially if they are more tanky mobs and are able to take the break.
