So would this be better than Night on the Milky Way or The Seriousness of Breakfast?
In my opinion, it depends on how much you need the speed: Speed is a quite rare but extremely valuable stat, but Night on the Milky Way definitly has more overall DMG with the higher base ATK and 30% increased DMG for 1 turn on weakness break. To keep it simple: Night on Milky Way for more DMG, Eternal Calculus for the Speed.
In most scenarios, I think Eternal Calculus is better than The Seriousness of Breakfast

Since this is a f2p lightcone, if u don’t have his signature lightcone then you can use it. However you should probably try to get his signature because the effects this gives are not as good as his sig

Milky Way S1 will have a better dame when it give 30% Dameoutputbuff to the character, but if your character already have a lot of Dameoutputbuff, this lightcone will be better with its 16% speed (In S2, I think Milky Way will be better)

It is really good for Jing Yuan. He needs 140 spd for 2 turns before LL. 99*(1.16)+25(SPD boots) = 139,84
One SPD Roll and he will be fine.

Don’t you dare run speed on him, that’s what supports are for. Sparkle, Asta, Hanya, Tingyun (E1 + DDD), they solve all of his Speed issues

I don’t use these characters with JY. I use SPD-tuned DPS Yukong E6 and Tingyun with 3* Meshing Cogs to get Ult in 3 turns. But you are right. You can use those characters if you want. I don’t. My JY has 1151 base ATK. With ATK boots he will get 1151*0.43 = 494.93. Tingyun will give him more ATK even with 3* LC. And I don’t want to replace crit dmg + crit rate + “s5 but the fight isn’t over” buffs with :
– Sparkle – crit dmg (but no crit rate) + 45.3 dmg buff (which is still weaker than Yukong, mainly because Sparkle lacks the crit rate buff and personal dmg. I’m not even talking about the +50% dmg from BTBIO, even though you can’t use it on Sparkle to buff LL. But I still use her, but with QQ and Dan Heng IL.
– Asta – SPD buff and ATK buff (I use her too, but with BE Rope and Imaginary MC)
– Hanya – (I don’t use her. I don’t understand it. She recovers Skill Points, but takes them the very next turn. And because of the SPD build, she will do it a lot. And JY doesn’t need Skill Points that much. In my case, he uses Yukong much better¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
My Yukong is built like this: 1.42 Energy, so she could ult in 2 turns (she still needs to be hit once, so she stands in the middle of the team)
135 SPD – the slowest in the team, so she can use skill to buff LL.
My JY – 142 SPD – the fastest in the team – so all buffs go to him (80% ATK+Crits+50% dmg bonus just from Yukong)
Honestly, I’d use Sparkle on him if I hadn’t pulled S3 BTBIO in the early months of the game. But I ended up with the early stronger unit. But even without Sparkle, I would still use SPD boots because some supports are worth more than 500 ATK.
Okay, I wrote a bit too much. I meant that Tingyun can easily compensate for this, so you replace the SPD buff with something more useful, like Pela Ult or a second DPS like Blade.

– Sparkle isnt spd buffer dude 💀. shes cd buffer with extra 50% advance foward and alil bit atk% buff. sp-
– Tingyun is all atk% buffer both skill and ult with energy as bonus buff. sp+
– RuanMei is be% buffer, break efeciency, and penetration buffer. sp+
