Had a gander at 4.0’s map. Surprised that they manage to (implicitly) keep the Japanese vibe through its environment without slapping a torii gate and beautiful sakura trees and calling it a day. All they majorly did was revamp the character designs and that’s probably it. Eight weeks really pays off, huh.

their animations and kits are so interesting, but i really hope that they wont make mono-elation teams like rem-castorice.
and if there arent any new 4* elations (or just any 4* in general) then hsr really is cooked ;-;
Mono elation is highly likely. The path itself (specifically, the Aha instant mechanic) hits harder and more often with more Elation units, and Sparxie already has a passive that gets stronger with more Elation units(though it maxes at 3 total, so there’s a chance “elation sustain” won’t be a thing)
I do think they will add 4* elation units at some point(as well as elation MC), just not before they get to milk players who would try to assemble the new shiny team with limited units.
We are at a point in HSR now that not even low-spenders can get all of the Stellar Jades from a simple Event! 😄
Most players will never be able to get the Stellar Jades from the Remnants of Twilight – Nightmare Mode.
This is the first time HoYo made Stellar Jades this hard to get in HSR.
They are clearly testing the waters to see how HSR players will react to this.
As we know, most of the HoYo fans are sheep, so they will defend even this as usual.

Yeah, there are some things that people will shill for hoyo, and some who won’t and rightfully call out some of their bullshit but if this person were actually upset or had any other goal other than to just grab you by the eyes for attention (which they have gotten for me, but i am just gonna post this anyway oh well) then they would probably be doing something different with their words instead of just going up on a public forum basically to go up with a microphone “HEY HEY HEY LOOK AT ME GUYS YOU ALL SUCK AND UH AH ARE SHEEP” and so on and so forth to get attention.

Yes is Nightmare mode difficult? Yeah. Do you get trial characters that would make the boss easier in it compared to the other difficulties? Nope! Do i wish nightmare mode was a little easier? Sure! Why not. But what they have oh so funnily left out of their comment….. is that the jades you get from clearing any nightmare mode boss are permanent! Yep, this event is like most of the flagships! Not as much jades as a flagship ofc, but its an event that will be around forever, and the only jades you miss out on are while the event is online and active during this patch. Hence “Limited Time Rewards.” And the limited time rewards as i write this, do not even have a singular mention of Nightmare mode in their requirements. Its just Easy and Hard mode, which surprise surprise… you can use the trial characters on and easily clear the respective stages, and gain every single limited time reward. Since the jades you get from Nightmare Mode are permanent… it means that if you aren’t able to clear it right now, that’s totally fine! You can come back at a later date when you have some more characters raised, or even obtained some shiny new ones that you are super excited about, and tackle Nightmare Mode again when you are ready and able!
Now… how many jades are in it for clearing Nightmare Mode you ask? 100. One Hundred Shiny Sparklies. How much does the rest of the event have? The rest of the event’s normal rewards has 150 jades, and then the limited time rewards give you 350, which again, do not need nightmare mode to obtain! The only thing you can miss out on random observer that plays the game that sees this, is those 350 limited time jades which you will miss if you do not go ahead and get the respective stages done before the event is over! So get to work and have fun!
But see, people like silly old Monos here are really funny to me. Wanna know why? They wanna go out of their way screaming like a spoiled child starved for attention insulting anyone who they dislike, wanting to call them “shills” when they don’t even got their own facts straight. If they are THAT upset over the game and hate how it supposedly works, why do they still play? 3. Its difficulty is on the level of MoC
4. Unlike MoC, it’s a permanent feature

I’d say it is. Most every character belongs to a certain archetype. The only difference is that we have a new archetype so there aren’t pre-existing teammates for them just yet.
Now, on the other hand not having a 4* or two to fill out the roster…
Hell will freeze over before we get a 4 star again lol, and if it does somehow happen, it will come with a catch unfortunately. Like they are really niche or just underwhelming.

honestly they can sell elation path by new enemy that has crit dmg reduction so they dont have to worry about dragonlady & paimon broke the game.

1. No Elation MC first patch, no 4 star elation unit either
2. First characters of the new path already both scale with having more elation units in a team
3. Cringe path animation that already doesn’t fit one of the new characters in the slightest. Whoever is planning to gather all the pieces of elation exodia, better get used to it

As I predicted, HoYo became even more greedy in 4.x
I really wanted to be excited. Elation is probably my favorite path. I thought they would throw us a bone for the patch being delayed and finally show some good faith. I take a look at this version and see the new dps running alongside their (presumably) BIS support back to back, similar to genshin with Mauvika and Citlali except not a double banner, but just as insulting. Not off to a great start, imo. The shamelessness and greed really needs to be studied, man. I knew something was off when i saw they were both elation, unlike with remembrance.
