  1. I hate this new form of character. She can do literally nothing against bosses. Her efficiency drastically falls with amount of enemies. Let’s just see.
    5 enemies: 1 AOE and 1 blast is enough to activate the passive. This can be like any erudition skill plus her basic or Blade’s passive and basic.
    4 enemies: only 2 AOEs or 3 blasts. Maybe some stocked charges, but the fact is, a difference in amount of actions you need to do to activate your passive is really big. And now you can’t make AOE+Blast combo for instant passive proc.
    3 enemies. 3 AOEs or 3 blasts. Still not too bad, but in this case any erudition core becomes worse than Blade anyway.
    2 enemies. 4 AoEs, 4 blasts. You should NEVER use Jade in case where enemies are less than two.
    1 enemy. 8 Blasts or AoEs. Jade freaking dies.
    She’ll be OP in PF and REALLY situational anywhere else. If boss in the mirror spams mass summoning or something, you can pick her, otherwise this character is completely useless. She becomes much weaker if a number of enemies is less than five and a complete slot waste if it is less than three. 30 speed just don’t worth it.

      Not so much for Himeko’s LC unless you’re doing PF with matched elements, and confident you can break enemies reliably.

  3. Jades v3 changes are a damage increase on her skill dmg proc 20% -> 25% of Jade’s attack to each target hit and it consumes 2% of the debt collectors hp instead of 5%.

    Her E1 also got buffed the talent follow up attack dmg is now increased by 32% instead of 20%. Every time her stacks are charged she also gains an additional stack? (I think this is towards her follow up attack not her crit damage increase but idk)

      • Which is just a nice benefit. To the character not being big and hyped up. It far easier to value how good they really are. Rather than reading power creep is crazy in this game lol, for the tenth time or so today. Even with older characters still being able to clear the content.

        For beside characters like Bronya and Sparkle, both having their own upsides and downsides. Making them more suitable for different teams. With one not simply being outright better than the other. More it depends on the team your creating. When a new character does release and is better. Aventurine vs Gepard. Just cause a new character gets release that is more powerful than another similar unit. Doesn’t mean power creep happen. For after all, new stuff being better or worst than already existing things. Just happens all the time in gaming. That alone is not power creep.

        It can become power creep, if the new standard for content and it difficulty, can only be met by the new and shiny characters. Which given this game is meant to sell you characters. Sounds like it would be a bad idea. Given what the point of rolling for a older character on a rerun, if they been massively power crept by another? Which some don’t seem to really care for that. Just go with ah yes it gives me a reason to roll, for they act like rolling for a character is the same as progressive. Like say gathering talent mats or relics. Which that what some believe is the only reason to roll for new characters. While never going, you know. Maybe team building variety is another good reason to roll for these characters? Since we have follow up attack turns, with the likes of Tingyun and HuoHuo, who can help the spamming of ults. For this idea a new character is progressive, doesn’t make much sense. When they are asking for each new character to be stronger than the last. Since your not making progressive, your just going back to square one. To be able to do the same things you used to with older characters.

        Which the power creep some like to beg for, so they have a reason to roll. Just makes me go are they insane? Are they aware of how bad the rng is for the relic system in this game? Why would you want to suffer through that over and over? Just due to being force to replace your old characters, so you can clear memory of chaos 12. Of course some people just like to go power creep is crazy in this game, just so they can then go lol good thing i’m free to play.

        Which speaking of such. Did have someone on my in game friend list. ONly get 2 stars from memory of chaos 12. They have a e6 JingLiu and a e2 Acheron. I’m wondering like how. When my e2 s1 Seele and e0 s1 Jingliu were able to three star it.

        TLDR: People asking for power creep are morons and most have no idea what power creep is, just like to shout it to feel good about themselves or act like it the end of the world.

          • Yeah it kind of lose any meaning it has. For it like, what is even power creep at this point? Also does it even matter, when old units can still clear the content fine?

            I can understand someone having issues, if their only healer is Nat and they have not build up Lynx and don’t have anyone like say Aventurine. Since well, being able to cleanse all debufs in one go or being able to resist them in the first place. Is much better than having to spend skill points to remove them one by one. That or if their relics are lacking. For building anything that needs crit rate crit damage, can be rather painful due to rng relics. Get a crit rate crit damage piece? Yeah that all going into flat defense. It can take awhile but once you get the relics. Bang, long as you have decent supports your good to go.

            For what alot of people don’t seem to understand. It in the best interest for the company to not mindlessly make older characters useless, every time they release a new one. Since rerun banners exist for a reason. There would be no reason to roll for a older character, if the new shiny thing was the only one that can clear the content. Since the older character already exists. They don’t have to put any work into it and can just make money off of it. Along with people wondering why the heck they would roll at all, if their character is going to be useless in a patch or two before they can even properly build them up. Which would be bad for the game. Since, hey why make money off of one character, when you can make money off of both the old and new.

    • That’s equivalent ppl saying Topaz is bad, although her role as dual ‘mini-harmony’ and sub-dps goes both way around, and i believe same case with Jade. Ppl are just crazy with powercreep, and it’s not about ‘how’ to beat the content, but the sugar rush to stay relevant with current meta and ridiculous unit requirement for particular buff level. That’s the common problem thing with every gacha games, they making the problem, and you ‘solving’ their problem by buying their unit, PF and MoC are prime example of their saving grace (i know ppl talk sh*t to the hunt unit, but we’ll how it goes on Apocalyptic Shadow), each element and role does huge impact on some level but doesn’t mean they’re not viable, they’re just not fit for some reason, remember Boothil and Firefly fans going crazy because their capabilities implant weakness, this is same hype with Archeron so i know how to feel get punch in gut cause your Seele can’t do that lmao. So, the conclusion here ‘powercreep’ mean = They are not fit because ‘problem’, you can take a guess varies problem some of these unit have.

      • Well dps have been brute forcing content for awhile now. Even proper build stuff.
        Which Seele can zero cycle stuff. Archeron releases her dps all in one burst. So yeah she looks good for big screenshot numbers. Even if she is on the same level as other dps.

        Which also Firefly and Boothil kit. Only imapply a weakness onto the foe. They don’t remove any elemental resistance, like what Silver Wolf does or someone like Mei or e1 Robin can do. So a enemy that has 40% fire or physical weakness, is still going to have that same resistance to these elements. The main benefit is, it going to be easier to toughness break the foe. It not really creating a new problem and selling you the fix to it. Rather it just allowing a different playstyle that more focus on weakness breaking to happen. Which Seele in mono team with Silver Wolf, has no issues clearing foes that relay on their weakness being broken in order to do big damage to them. It more like people create the problem in their minds and see the new character as the fix to it. When the reality is a bit different.

  5. Jade at E0S1: how much damage she can deal? I trust mathematics more than instinction.

    Relic sets: Quantum 4pc, Duran 2pc.

    Main stats: crit rate body, atk% boots, quantum damage orb, and atk% rope.

    Substats:
    • atk% * 2;
    • crit rate * 12;
    • crit damage * 16.

    When everything is fully stacked, she has:
    • 3300 attack;
    • 88 crit rate;
    • 287 crit damage;
    • 71.28 damage amp;
    • 88 damage amp for FUA;
    • 10% def pen;
    • 10% def pen vs. Quantum weak enemies;
    • 16% def pen for ultimate and FUA.

    ———-

    In this case, her estimated damage output vs. non-Quantum weak enemies at lv.85 is:
    • Basic Attack: ~6.6k / ~2.2k;
    • Ultimate: ~19.5k;
    • FUA: ~14.7k;
    • Enhanced FUA: ~24.5k.

    Plus Ruan Mei’s skill and ultimate:
    • Basic Attack: ~12k / ~4k;
    • Ultimate: ~35.6k;
    • FUA: ~24.4k;
    • Enhanced FUA: ~40.6k.

    ———-

    If the enemies were Quantum-weak:
    • Basic Attack: ~8.8k / ~2.9k;
    • Ultimate: ~25.8k;
    • FUA: ~19.5k;
    • Enhanced FUA: ~32.6k.

    Plus Ruan Mei’s skill and ultimate:
    • Basic Attack: ~15k / ~5k;
    • Ultimate: ~45k;
    • FUA: ~31k;
    • Enhanced FUA: ~51k.

    ———-

    Seems like Jade’s FUA is just enough to one-shot most mobs in PF. Cast Jade’s skill on Herta and have Seele one-shot mobs to trigger Herta’s FUA twice in a row and allows her to trigger Jade’s FUA even faster. You now have a brain dead level PF grinder than automatically grinds 40k score for you. The 4th member can be Ruan Mei, who supports the whole team.

    However her damage is rather inadequate vs. elite enemies in MoC that usually have 300k~500k of HP. Her best teammate there might be Blade. This team should feel like wearing down the elite enemies slowly by 10k~50k of AoE / blast damage. This team suffers vs. single target boss with high HP.

    Her toughness substraction is rather mediocre, however she should be able to destroy the summoned mobs in a few swipes.

      Jk but thanks for the math. I’m gonna use her in a team of Jade – Clara – Robin – Luocha.

      Tbh we knew she was subpar outside of PF as she is now. We can only hope she gets something in V3. If not, well that’s a shame but alas. What else can you do?
