Surprise no one has gone. Jade will power creep Himeko or Herta and make her totally useless.
Himeko/Herta as a duo is just too synergistic I think.
And also like Firefly is way more controversial and wanted, so all the doomposting and powercreep talk is there xD
Good point. Yeah that most likely the case. All the people that go, power creep is insane in this game. Are going to Firefly posting.
Which is just a nice benefit. To the character not being big and hyped up. It far easier to value how good they really are. Rather than reading power creep is crazy in this game lol, for the tenth time or so today. Even with older characters still being able to clear the content.
For beside characters like Bronya and Sparkle, both having their own upsides and downsides. Making them more suitable for different teams. With one not simply being outright better than the other. More it depends on the team your creating. When a new character does release and is better. Aventurine vs Gepard. Just cause a new character gets release that is more powerful than another similar unit. Doesn’t mean power creep happen. For after all, new stuff being better or worst than already existing things. Just happens all the time in gaming. That alone is not power creep.
It can become power creep, if the new standard for content and it difficulty, can only be met by the new and shiny characters. Which given this game is meant to sell you characters. Sounds like it would be a bad idea. Given what the point of rolling for a older character on a rerun, if they been massively power crept by another? Which some don’t seem to really care for that. Just go with ah yes it gives me a reason to roll, for they act like rolling for a character is the same as progressive. Like say gathering talent mats or relics. Which that what some believe is the only reason to roll for new characters. While never going, you know. Maybe team building variety is another good reason to roll for these characters? Since we have follow up attack turns, with the likes of Tingyun and HuoHuo, who can help the spamming of ults. For this idea a new character is progressive, doesn’t make much sense. When they are asking for each new character to be stronger than the last. Since your not making progressive, your just going back to square one. To be able to do the same things you used to with older characters.
Which the power creep some like to beg for, so they have a reason to roll. Just makes me go are they insane? Are they aware of how bad the rng is for the relic system in this game? Why would you want to suffer through that over and over? Just due to being force to replace your old characters, so you can clear memory of chaos 12. Of course some people just like to go power creep is crazy in this game, just so they can then go lol good thing i’m free to play.
Which speaking of such. Did have someone on my in game friend list. ONly get 2 stars from memory of chaos 12. They have a e6 JingLiu and a e2 Acheron. I’m wondering like how. When my e2 s1 Seele and e0 s1 Jingliu were able to three star it.
TLDR: People asking for power creep are morons and most have no idea what power creep is, just like to shout it to feel good about themselves or act like it the end of the world.
Jade at E0S1: how much damage she can deal? I trust mathematics more than instinction.
Relic sets: Quantum 4pc, Duran 2pc.
Main stats: crit rate body, atk% boots, quantum damage orb, and atk% rope.
Substats:
• atk% * 2;
• crit rate * 12;
• crit damage * 16.
When everything is fully stacked, she has:
• 3300 attack;
• 88 crit rate;
• 287 crit damage;
• 71.28 damage amp;
• 88 damage amp for FUA;
• 10% def pen;
• 10% def pen vs. Quantum weak enemies;
• 16% def pen for ultimate and FUA.
———-
In this case, her estimated damage output vs. non-Quantum weak enemies at lv.85 is:
• Basic Attack: ~6.6k / ~2.2k;
• Ultimate: ~19.5k;
• FUA: ~14.7k;
• Enhanced FUA: ~24.5k.
Plus Ruan Mei’s skill and ultimate:
• Basic Attack: ~12k / ~4k;
• Ultimate: ~35.6k;
• FUA: ~24.4k;
• Enhanced FUA: ~40.6k.
———-
If the enemies were Quantum-weak:
• Basic Attack: ~8.8k / ~2.9k;
• Ultimate: ~25.8k;
• FUA: ~19.5k;
• Enhanced FUA: ~32.6k.
Plus Ruan Mei’s skill and ultimate:
• Basic Attack: ~15k / ~5k;
• Ultimate: ~45k;
• FUA: ~31k;
• Enhanced FUA: ~51k.
———-
Seems like Jade’s FUA is just enough to one-shot most mobs in PF. Cast Jade’s skill on Herta and have Seele one-shot mobs to trigger Herta’s FUA twice in a row and allows her to trigger Jade’s FUA even faster. You now have a brain dead level PF grinder than automatically grinds 40k score for you. The 4th member can be Ruan Mei, who supports the whole team.
However her damage is rather inadequate vs. elite enemies in MoC that usually have 300k~500k of HP. Her best teammate there might be Blade. This team should feel like wearing down the elite enemies slowly by 10k~50k of AoE / blast damage. This team suffers vs. single target boss with high HP.
Her toughness substraction is rather mediocre, however she should be able to destroy the summoned mobs in a few swipes.
Ew Ruan Mei. In this house we respect and use Robin.
Jk but thanks for the math. I’m gonna use her in a team of Jade – Clara – Robin – Luocha.
Tbh we knew she was subpar outside of PF as she is now. We can only hope she gets something in V3. If not, well that’s a shame but alas. What else can you do?
Yeah normally by now we have someone go. Haha all your old characters suck. New character is going to power creep them all and make them worthless trash.
Oddly things have been rather civil in the Jade posts.
Hey being good for at least pure fiction. Does mean she has a use. Look on the bright side. at least people will talk about her. She also does have some nice animations. Could be worst, she could be like Arlan. That character no one talks about or remembers until they suddenly pop up in the story or someone reminds them they exist.
