How does he compare with Aventurine? Equal power? Outscales the other?
So, hopefully this Danny Rex Lapis will be given for free xD
Any recommendations for his relics?
-Is it 4p Knight of Purity Palace (Increases the max DMG that can be absorbed by the Shield created by the wearer by 20%)
-Any 2p + 2p (ATK increases by 12% + ATK increases by 12%)
Also, for the Sphere and Orb…
Is it better to use +5% Energy Regen (like Vonwacq) or is Space Sealing Station better (Increases the wearer’s ATK by 12%, When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer’s ATK increases by an extra 12%)?
I plan to use ATK% Body, SPD or ATK% boots, ATK% Sphere & Energy Regen Rope
Vonwacq is not needed.
He already has built in 40% Action Advance at Battle Start.
I’m not a theory crafter but I was real curious myself, and though my math is likely to be wrong— all else being equal, it DOES look like KoPP is better? W atk doubling set having 88.3% the shield. Makes sense, given atk% is an extremely abundant stat, but shield effect up is completely unique and so has higher value! But it may also be small enough a difference that sub stats could compensate if you have some really good pieces??
Unclear! But given all the Prisoner atk & ehr pieces ive built for DoT, i may just have to test out 75% ehr version for dot, pft.
Edit/Update: Ftr, using v basic calcs, my results were: Raw Atk Relics, No Kafka/EHR (1090) < Atk w Kafka/EHR (1245) < KoPP, No Kafka (1386) < KoPP w Kafka/EHR (1572). That's w swapping out Atk% bodies for EHR% ones for Kafka/DoT teams, BUT it's contingent on stats being completely equal & pulling off the ~32% ehr without losing rolls elsewhere–
As I type though I just remembered Gepards Sig has EHR (as well as highest atk of the non-DH pres lcs), though, and with that you'd only need /8/ EHR for Kafka at S1. If not for Hyacine I'd almost regret mine being S2 since I figured I'd never need to use it twice at once.
Making an atk scaling preservation unit when the only preservation lc even remotely mentioning atk is his sig is scummy as fuck.
At what point does using a random, high base-atk lc from a different path become a viable option on him?
I mean he’s a sustain at the end of the day. The new battlepass cone is probably his BiS but ones like Aventurine’s Sig or Concert for Two will still be useful. Just because he doesn’t benefit from defense on his attacks doesn’t mean more bulk or utility isn’t good.
If the rumour were to be believed that he’s free, I guess this was always gonna happen. They had to somehow boost sale in his banner. But yes, it sucks to have no F2P options, since the best one for him otherwise is the Battle Pass Light Cone (that also costs money), or Fu Xuan’s LC (also premium and super cope).
So… basically he’s Lingsha but shield. I was wondering how he’s gonna compare with the top preservation chara Aventurine, but his kit is pretty good. And a good sustain for Phainon (if he needed one) since his skill and ulti targets ally, I wonder if his summon can also charges Phainon.
two follow-up atack after the ultimate seem very meager… I would like them to be between 4 and 6. And I understand that his shields do not increase Effect RES like Aventurine?
4-6 FuPs would ridiculous – one ult would give Feixiao an entire ult by itself, and imagine the Robin value…
What you’re missing is that he gets 5 energy per attack from his bonded carry.
No effect res, but dragon cleanses, but there is an issue that the dragon gets AA whenever the carry attacks, but if carry gets cc’d just after Dragon has a turn, they have to just wait. But then again, Dragon’s still super speedy at 165 spd. Everyone else is seemingly on their own though.
Well, The Leak who said that Dan Heng Permansor Terrae can only Shield one ally was Busted. In the Skill It is explained that it is true that only one ally is targeted, but all allies still get the shield. If, Dan Heng is really given free in the next patch, I think he could be one of the shielder candidates for the DoT team Since Kafka Can Give Him a Free 100% Attack when his Effect Hit Rate reaches 75%.
Am I Bugging or is he totally Viable as a DoT sustain?
Depends on what you mean by viable. He’ll def keep the team alive no issue, and you could probably build 75% EHR for the memes. And ATK% buff is nice, but for who? Kafka’s got the most actions by far to help him churn out more ults, but both BS and Hysilens do more with the ATK%.
Very good kit, probably best sustain in the game
I see a lot of people focused in on Phainon synergy due to leakers spreading wrong info, but DH seems to be a universal sustain for atk scaling carries. He’s incredibly potent. Compared to random 15% cdmg buffs previous sustains had, an 600-800 atk buff looks very strong. He has good damage contribution too. Seems like an upgrade for any Sunday user due to the 50% dmg bonus, definitely a better Sunday + Robin core. Very generic, should fit in any standard team
People complaining about LC choices are getting baited. Use a 5 star Lightcone from any other path not destruction. You can get as high as 635 base atk and discard his signature. Which is quite bad. Only giving 36% dmg bonus? That’s pathetic. Eidolons seem better if you want to vertical, but I personally wouldn’t invest
36%dmg with ~100% uptime is not pathetic, we’re looking at a sustain, not a support.
Huohuo’s LC gives 12%atk
New BP gives 12%DMG when >50%HP
FX’s gives 9% dmg
Herta shop Rem LC gives 8%dmg
Hyacine’s LC gives 18%vuln
Assuming your DMG% isn’t more than 50% saturated, it’s outperforming Hyacine’s LC (assuming being given dragon means having summons?)
Failing that, it’s the second best by a country mile.
Just by having DanTe in the team, Sunday gives 50% more dmg bonus already. DMG is absolutely oversaturated in his teams. Modern dpses get like 300% dmg bonus
Regardless, that is the wrong way to look at verticals. E1 Tribbie is a vertical worth getting, E1 Evernight is worth getting. Gamechaning, Acheron S1 all the way back, completely different experience from having or lacking it
DanTe’s S1 is just a very small damage increase. Again only the 36% dmg matters, everything else is outdone by an off Path high base atk LC, even the atk steriod is smaller. Oh and don’t forget his Eidolons are better. Pulling vertical for supports is better as a whole too. DanTe is your last priority investment wise and imo just save
If I Kafka becomes the “bondamate”, will she trigger A1 with every her follow-up attack?
You are fucked if you don’t get his sig LC.
His base atk is awfully low and other LC’s base atk are awfully low as well. The former will definitely be changed, but the latter is fixed.
Is Souldragon’s FUA considered as FUA from Bondmate?
So when i give “Mems Support” to Bondmate is the Souldragon also dealing true-damage?
Or when i give Fugue’s skill to bondmate will the dragon also ignor 50% of the weakness Type to the toughness-bar
Or when Dr. Ratio is bondmate and he has his Signature LC that give FUA Def ignor or Jade with her LC that give FUA Dmg-bonus is this also working on Souldragen’s FUA
When all of this is working Dan Hang SP is more universal as i thought(besides bye hp or def scaling units)
this toughts came up because i saw a Video were Sunday used his skill on “bondmate” and the souldragon’s also took action
p.s. i hope his base atk gets increased
honestly good question. My Herta team is with Jade + RMC/Robin and Aventurine, if Herta is the bond teamate and also Jade’s contract, when the Dragon atacks does it counts for Jade stacks? But Jade contract does not include Memosprites, but does include Lightning Lord or that one piggie.

right and when the FUA its really count as the bondmate’s attack (the herta in this case) maybe the hertas A4 gets triggert as well because its an attack from the herta
the herta
A4: …after an attack the enemy with the highest HP get 1 stack, if the attacker is an erudition char additionally applies 2 stacks
