    • i predict a double rerun banner for both 1st and 2nd half banner composing Jing Yuan/Huohuo and Firefly/Boothill
not 100% confident on huohuo but that energy regen from her ult makes sense to combo with sunday’s

the rest is the same reason as you that pairs well with the new unit

  1. all recent 5* have giant DEF almost reach preservation mc, i expect 3.0 will have nuke damage that one hit archeron and all old 5*, also fuxuan’s official dead, also mean adventurine’s def is not that impressive anymore, no wonder they rerun archeron+adventure now

  2. so v1 is out

surprised that tingyun 5 star is more of a ruan mei replacement rather than HTB unike most people predicted
just need her to be at E1 for 50% weakness efficiency that you want from ruan mei

sunday being a JY buff as expected maybe for topaz as well
might expect that we getting a summon dps in 2.8

      • TLDR:
HMC isnt a replacement due to BE boost given by fugue (as of v1 fugue gives 70 BE total to a single target) and 1 instance of superbreak is too good to be missed
fugue on focuses to give out multiple instances of break dmg rather than to boost one instance of break dmg making her a ruan mei replacement and FF benefits from multiple break dmgs due to her E2

first benefit of HMC is that HMC gives a shit ton of BE (something f2p would probably want if they dont have FF LC ) 2nd is that 100% superbreak instance
and we know that superbreak instance is stackable(?not sure what is the correct term for this) like you can have multiple lines of superbreak

while ruan mei at e0 gives teamwide weakness efficiency + spd + dmg% teamwide buff + fix amount BE + res pen and her own break when enemies gets broken then at e1 gives def ignore which is nice on top of res pen

fugue at e0 abit more BE fix amount of BE + def ignore + another line of 100% superbreak instance ( so we seeing 3 superbreak now) and exo toughness(this what makes it broken) e1 for weakness efficiency

now to compare the two ruan mei focus on teamwide buffs vs fugue focus on hypercarry (seeing her kit is more single target)
then onto FF when both ruan mei and fugue at E1
FF at E0 would benefit about the same from ruan vs fugue
FF at E2 however benefit alot more from fugue than ruan mei due to exo toughness given by fugue that would proc E2 alot faster which means FF can dish out dmg more during her ult

now on to the premium stuff
this compose of FF with her LC, ruan mei, fugue and lingsha (all at e2)
pretty much this can overshadows the benefits of HMC with the 3 giving just enough BE for FF to hit her BE requirements and a shit ton of weakness efficiency

        • Nope. HMC is the one being replaced here. Superbreak is pretty much like a base damage upgrade. RM is a % damage upgrade. Let me make it easy for you. HMC superbreak is like 150k. Meaning no matter how stronger your FF becomes the superbreak HMC gives is simply… 150k.

Now if your Firefly with Fugue deals 500k damage because of ex-break + superbreak, then HMC will simply only do 2 things. Increase BE by about 15% and give a 150k superbreak buff along with it. This is pretty much a 15% damage buff + 150k damage. So what is this total? It’s 725k.

So HMC ontop of Fugue will allow your Firefly to hit for 725k instead of 500k.

Now lets look at RM. RMs buffs are all damage %. With the BE buff she allows you to deal around 5% more than you add 33% more damage from her weakness break efficiency due to Firefly alr having 150%,. Ontop of that you gain a minimum of 25% damage from her ult. So what’s the total damage increase here? Well from 500k we add the 5% to get 525k, then the 33% to get to nearly 700k and THEN we add the next 25% to get to 875k.

So RM ontop of Fugue will allow your Firefly to hit for 875k instead of 500k.

RM is by far the bigger buff. And this isn’t even considering her E1 or S1. If you have both of them ontop of all this. She gives another 20% bonus damage from her Def shred to reach 1.05m meaning RM at E1 is a total damage buff of 2x to Firefly with Fugue.

Sorry, but in no way is HMC staying over RM for anyone that knows anything about their team.

Now lets talk about Lingsha shall we to get that out of the way. No HMC is not better than Lingsha in most cases either. Lets say we are talking about E0/S1 Lingsha. Lingsha would give 25% + 18% damage buff ontop of that 500k making it total 737.5k. Which is once again bigger than HMCs buff to Firefly. But now only that. Lingsha also rivals HMC damage vs 1 and beats it massively from 2 onwards. So no, as long as you have her LC ontop of her, Lingsha is also better than HMC. I won’t even talk about E1/.S1 Lingsha which i have, which absolutely destroys HMC in total.

          • question tho, you said here “if your Firefly with Fugue deals 500k damage because of ex-break + superbreak,”
why does firefly+ HMC only deals 150k? assuming the break down of Firefly + Fugue dmg was ex break(which is basically normal weakness break) + super break + the dmg increase due to def down
wont it would make more sense if in this case firefly + HMC deals more or less 300k? since majority of the dmg is mainly due to superbreak and normal break which HMC also gives equal to Fugue what Fugue gives (hence the 100% superbreak dmg)

          • No. You misunderstand what i mean;. Firefly with HMC does way more than 150k, this is right. But HMC superbreak alone minus all the damage Firefly does alone, is only around 150k from my testing of a very powerful E2/S1 Firefly. Aka the superbreak damage from HMC does 150k in a hit. Now this is actually with an E1/S1 Lingsha helping out as well. So in truth HMC superbreeak alone may actually be weaker than 150k but i just give her what was showing on my screen when i tested too see how much HMC superbreak did when Firefly used it.

Also yea, the 500k Tingyun would do is also counting exo-break. But in truth it could be higher than 500k.

    • fugue replace ruan mei only in boothill team. In firefly team she replace harmony TB. In rappa team she replace harmony TB in PF, situationally replace either harmony TB or ruanmei in MoC/AS.

      • in my case i need 160 BE to hit 360BE for my FF so HTB is irreplaceable atm as my HTB gives 100BE total and fugue v1 gives more BE than ruan mei which i need more than res pen

        • From my perspective HMC is the replaceable idk why is your FF not reaching 360% BE, Did you really invest in her? FF is been out for how many patches now and i already done building her with or without her sig LC i can still hit 360% BE.

FF + Fugue + RM + Lingsha is almost the perfect mono fire team firefly can put fire weakness while fugue ignores weakness type on her ultimate then RM giving a team wide weakness break proficiency, dmg buff, spd and all type res, plus if u have E1 RM, E1 Lingsa, E1 FF and Fugue that team literally ignores 100% of enemy’s defense.

Also no one can replace ruan mei because super break dmg formula is base on toughness reduction and weakness break proficiency.

        • If you need 160 BE to reach 360 BE I dont think you need harmony TB, you just need better relic… And also you dont really need to hit 360 BE, even 250+ BE is enough so that you can reach iron cavalry’s full 4pc effect. Subrolls invested in getting 360 BE should instead be used to get 161 speed in non-ult state

  3. Aw man. I was gonna pull for Sunday but since his kit is basically Bronya Pro Max for the King Yuan glazers, I don’t know if I can pull. I know they’re releasing him so that the upcoming Aglaea can have a good support, since her kit leaks show that she can summon units that you can control. Guess I’m skipping him for the floofy tail 2ingyun instead.

Also Pom Pom has a cool new chef skin. It looks cute. I like it.
