well given the last memories of chaos, has a trot with physical weakness. He can kill it easily, thanks to weakness break. buff team and gain action advance for himself. Than focus down another foe.
That’s all thanks to Hoyoverse playing favorites and treating other characters like mud. Boothill and Jade are forgotten because of that. And they fking murdered Dehya in GI.

Yeah depending on the characters one has. It might not even be a choice between Boot and Firefly. If one has enough jades that is. For BootHill is going to be able to make use of Bronya, unlike Firefly. Can just slap Aventurine on one team and Gall on the other,. The only real support the two would be fighting over is Mei. Even then Boothill can just make use of stuff like Pela and Silver Wolf.

Boothill keeps getting Ls. There’s bug with him dealing 23.08% less Super Break damage with HMC (his 30% buff from Standoff does not apply to Super Break damage).

Well if it like other bugs. It will get fix and we will all get some jades from it.
It was just a negligent mistake. When Boothill was finished, Hoyoverse haven’t realized how crucial superbreak is on the entire break archetype. They only realized this while finalizing FF. They forgot to tweak him for that.
If Boothil was only a bit late, the bonus break damage on broken enemies would’ve been superbreak. Most future break dps will certainly have superbreak.
To be fair on his part, his force Break does deal much more damage than S.Break when fighting enemies at 480 Toughness, even with RM accounted for. His force Break starts falling behind vs S.Break at around 240~360 Toughness (5 ~ 1 enemy on-field).
Also, he prefers Bronya Spd Tune over RM so that’s an even bigger gap between his force Break and S.Break. Without RM, the enemy would have to be 150~210 Toughness (5 ~ 1 enemy on-field) for his force Break to start falling behind.
Note: Apart from the enemy count, the Toughness thresholds can vary very slightly depending on your stats.
