Sorry for the possibly dumb question but does his A4 trigger both effects with 2 erudition characters, or is it only the 30% damage increase?
only one is active if 2 or more eru units then 30%
if just anaxa 140%
His playability and how strong he is aside, one thing i would’ve liked is for Anaxa to have better animations. When i say better i dont mean they’re bad, his burst is awesome, but look at Castorice. Her animations are literally out of this world and the biggest animation powercreep i think by far. I know they wanna push castorice as the main unit for the anniversary and stuff, but i feel like they lacked a little bit on anaxa. It just seems a little plain compared to even other units. To me animations are a big part of a character especially in a game like Hsr. And when i heard he was going to be bis for therta i was really contimplating pulling for him instead. Now it seems he might not even be her bis. I don’t think ive seen anyone else say anything about his animations so far and its not to add negativity or even complain its just a personal thing for me. Hopefully they buff his actual kit unless they give him for free, and even then too.
That’s just how it is. The more hyped character always gets the bigger animation budget. Just look at 2.3 where Firefly clearly got all the attention and Jade was left with scraps.
I mean he powercrepped Welts ult for sure, his one is so much cooler
Since dual DPS sadly isn’t feasible for Anaxa as of now, I’m gonna run him as a hypercarry unless someone manages to find a crazy team comp with a Hunt or Destruction DPS that’s feasible. Anyhow, I plan on running him with Sunday at the very least. I don’t have Huohuo, so who could I run as a sustain in her place?
Idk who’s been telling you that dual dps isn’t feasible; his kit design works both with other Erudition characters and Hypercarry supports. Anyways, use Lingsha, Aventurine, or Luocha if you need a sustain.
bro you should know by now that the only good sustains are Gallagher lingsha, Adventurine and huohuo, like comn have u been living under a rock or something?
Might as well wait for the 3.3 healer, in the mean time just use the other ones, imo Adventurine is probably his 2nd best
I would say that Luocha can still hold up in endgame, even if he’s not as strong as Lingsha.
Forgot about Gallagher, he is a decent healer too. But OP said that they didn’t have HuoHuo.
I would agree to wait for Hyacine tho.
Ah yeah, afraid to insult some sauce but Anaxa is kinda bad not only according to calculations, but also in game according to ppl on beta. I hope they buff him, but I heard rumors and leaks and it seems pretty realistic if they won’t make huge reworks or changes they’ll just give him for free because of anniversary. Nobody is sure tho, but this character is simply doomed with his banner after Castorice and in his current state, so I guess that is possible.
if hes free im pretty happy with that, been needing a new erudition unit for a while, since most of them fukin suck balls
I’m stupid so please someone tell me what his best f2p lightcone would be?
“The Great Cosmic Enterprise” it will be added in 3.2 and available for free during event. It’ cone specifically designed for him and give huge damage buff. So if Anaxa won’t be change at V3 it will be great economy for account.
i have e0s1 jade would it really be worth it to pull this guy for my therta? also is there any info about cipher (the catgirl)? maybe when shes releasing or something idk i really like catgirls so
Cipher is predicted for 3.3
He doesn’t look like a most pull for Herta with his current kit if you already have Jade.
He does provide 30% extra damage and applies all weaknesses, but other than that there’s no big difference compare to Jade.

i think their idea for anaxa was be both a buffer and dps for therta, since she is t0 on almost every content whats better than being t0? Being able to kill any enemy due to weakness implant, this way she can be played in any battle with almost 0 down sides.
Think of her as firefly she gets all the good stuff so she can perform better for the next 4 months
Imagine if this guy smacks the Sunday boss during Phase 3
Since he generate energy pretty fast, wouldnt therta’s lc also perfect for him?
oop i didnt mean to reply you hahaha
Herta’s LC? Interesting idea.
Anaxa fits the 140 Energy requirement. Since he has 2 Turn-Ult with an Energy Rope, that means the 60% DMG bonus for Skill & Ult is permanent… and more importantly, Anaxa can generate an additional SP every 2 turns, on top of all the SP he already gives. Herta’s LC as second BiS, I’d wager?
Another wild idea, Rappa’s LC.
Specifically the “Raiton” buff you gain when casting Ultimate. Raiton advances your action by 50% after using Basic ATK twice. Good thing is, Anaxa is designed to use Basic ATK in his rotation. Maybe you can combine that with the Wind set? So every 2 turns, you get a 50% action advance and immediately another 24% with Ultimate… maybe? I’m not well-versed in turn order so maybe this can’t work because I misunderstand something.
Leakers keep giving him energy rope when he’s S1
Just so everyone is aware, with S1 he can run atk% rope and still get 2 turn ult
Side note, in all my infinite wisdom I deleted a good wind orb on the Rutland seg that I took off blade, regretting now
Yes, it seems so. Getting his LC allows you to run with ATK Rope.
INITIAL TURN
+ 10 (LC)
+ 30 (Trace)
+ 30 (Basic ATK / Skill)
End of Turn = 70 Energy
NEXT TURNS
+ 10 (LC)
+ 30 (Basic ATK / Skill)
+ 30 (additional Skill thanks to Talent)
End of Turn = 70 Energy
Even if you don’t manage to get 5 Weaknesses implanted on a specific enemy when Turn 2 starts, it doesn’t matter
Thanks to his Trace, he generates the 30 bonus Energy he would have gained through the additional Skill anyway
That’s 140 Energy in 2 turns, 100% guaranteed every time with no exception, which is amazing… unless they nerf him
WITH ENERGY ROPE (NO LIGHT CONE)
143.28 Energy within 2 Turns
That’s assuming his Trace benefits from the Energy Rope (no idea if it does)
LIGHT CONE + ENERGY ROPE
167.16 Energy within 2 Turns
I don’t remember how much Energy% the TV mobs reduce per attack though
Would this build guarantee a 2-turn Ultimate even with 1 Energy depletion inflicted?
(I hope my calculations aren’t wrong somewhere, I have an Excel sheet but I’m not great at this)
Do I need to use an energy rope with the event LC? I already have a good ATK% rope and I don’t really want to re-farm. Is the extra half-turn saved really worth it?
Is this confirmed to be a free Event LC though? Might be, didn’t keep up with the news.
Anyway, this LC only affects his DMG so if you want a 2-turn Ult, you have to get an Energy Regen rope… or use characters providing Energy.
At base value, Anaxa always gets 60 Energy per turn. So upon closing your 2nd turn, you “just” miss 20 Energy for his 140 threshold.
• Huohuo: +28 Energy
• Sunday: +28 Energy
• Tingyun: +50 Energy (60 Energy at E6)
Thing is, these 3 characters only provide Energy with their Ultimate, and I * think * they all have a 3-Turn Ultimate (right???)
This won’t match Anaxa’s achievable 2-turn rythm… guaranteed with an Energy Rope.
Now… do you NEED a 2-Turn Ultimate for Anaxa to be good? I don’t think so.
However, I still believe a 2-Turn Ultimate is quite interesting. It’s not just about his personal DMG, it’s also about the team synergies.
Number of hits per rotation, crowd control on the enemy and omni-Weakness type implant (+ debuff implant, for those who get his LC)
just FYI
thanks to his A2 major trace, Sunday will always grant at least 40 energy with his ult.
My bad, I should have remembered something that obvious. Turns out I’m an idiot.
i’m assuming we can expect part one of his a4 to get nerfed? since Anaxa is gonna be best in slot for The Herta, he would get 270% crit damage without literally any relics or lightcones (base 50% + personal 140% + The Herta 80%)
thats not how his a4 works, if he is alone he gets 140% crit if theres a 2nd erudition then everyone gets 30% dmg bonus.
“Based on the number of characters on the path of Erudition in the team, triggers the corresponding effects”
Key word here being corresponding, meaning not combined.
a lot of ppl say this is silverwolf powercreep, but it really isn’t
“Implanting weakness” isnt the most overpowered thing really, lets say a boss already has quantum weak, that means its 20% resistance to every element but 0% to quantum, if characters like anaxa, ff and boothill planted their weakness (lets say wind weak), its still 20% resistance to wind, it just means wind attacks can reduce the toughness meter, nothing else, unless the character can res shred, silverwolf can res shred unlike the three of them who can implant weakness, but ofc shes garbage because of single target and her implant being RNG, so no this isnt really a direct silverwolf powercreep, weakness implants like these dont do much for dmg increase unless they come with res shred
imo, anaxa seems pretty strong both as an indepandant dps and a herta battery but that base spd is rly worrying me, although he can trigger double skills for more herta energy, and the additional 30% dmg and 12% def shred from sig, he feels like hes kinda lacking a little, hopefully they buff his base spd so he can be more frequent with his attacks to battery herta, and replace some of his traces with spd aswell
Afaik weakness implant does actually reduce the resistance values
It doesn’t unless specifically stated, Silver Wolf’s does because it says so
he only allows to break enemies faster. SW is the only character that not only implants weakness type, but also decreases the resistance to that element as if enemy was weak to it from the beginning.
Anaxa is basically Fugue in disguise, because he simply allows any team to break. But it’s only the way to “freeze” enemies
