Type | Light Cone, Nihility Light Cone |
Path | Nihility |
Description | Light Cone for the Path of Nihility. The Light Cone ability is only effective for characters of this Path. |
Skill | Increases the wearer's Effect Hit Rate by 60%. If the target is not under the Unarmored effect dealt by the wearer, when the wearer uses a Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate on enemy targets, there is a 60% base chance to inflict Unarmored to the enemy. Under the Unarmored state, the target enemy's DMG received is increased by 10%, lasting for 2 turn(s). When the wearer deals DMG to an enemy with the Unarmored effect inflicted by themselves, there is a 60% base chance to escalate the Unarmored state from them into the Cornered state, which increases the target enemy's DMG received by 18%. |

Story | After a few sudden drizzles, spring tides rise, birthing lush greenery. "How many springs has it been?" He recalls those young soldiers heading to the battlefield for the first time. That happens every year. The people are different, but they are all similarly lively and full of hope. The willow withers as it waits for the person to return. In the end, what they manage to bring home... is often icy frost that will never melt.
The birds warble as he shuts his eyes, letting the sunlight fall on his face through the gaps between the leaves. —"And that's why those who are left behind are the loneliest." |

This light cone is a viable choice on Pela, too, but note that it only has 60% base chance. You need 138.1% / 177.8% EHR to guarantee the debuff vs. enemies with 30% / 40% resistance.
Jiaoqiu himself has 28% EHR from minor traces. Counting the 43.2% EHR from body in, he now has 131.2% EHR. He needs ~2 / ~12 substats on EHR to reach the respective goal.
Pela has 10% EHR from minor traces and a teamwide 10% EHR. Counting the 43.2% EHR from body in, she now has 123.2% EHR. She needs ~4 / ~14 substats on EHR to reach the respective goal.
Pela also needs her E6 to deal additional DMG every time she launches an attack, or she is unable to upgrade the light cone’s debuff.
To a team of zero def shred and zero vulnerability, replacing Pela’s S5 RSASP with Jiaoqiu’s signature increases the damage by ~14%.
– (1000 + 1150) / (1000 + 1150 * 0.42) ≈ 1.45
– (1000 + 1150) / (1000 + 1150 * 0.58) * 1.28 ≈ 1.65
To a team with 30% def shred and zero vulnerability, the increment is ~10%.
– (1000 + 1150 * 0.7) / (1000 + 1150 * 0.12) ≈ 1.59
– (1000 + 1150 * 0.7) / (1000 + 1150 * 0.28) * 1.28 ≈ 1.75
To a team with 40% def shred and 30% vulnerability, the increment is ~3%.
– (1000 + 1150 * 0.6) / (1000 + 1150 * 0.02) * 1.3 ≈ 2.15
– (1000 + 1150 * 0.6) / (1000 + 1150 * 0.18) * 1.58 ≈ 2.21
Q: So, is it worth it to get Jiaoqiu’s signature for Pela?
A: Yes, if you have nothing better to pull for.
The EN text of this light cone has a noteable mistranslation.
The CN text says “when the wearer deals additional DMG”.
Additional damage is the damage from Welt’s talent, Pela’s E6, and Jiaoqiu’s A2, meaning only these units can make the use of this light cone.
Does anyone think this lc is worth on Black Swan, or should i just wait for her rerun.
That bonus EHR and the bonus DMG for the team sounds spicy. :p
Nah, Black Swan has no mean to deal any additional DMG. There is currently only two Nihility units that can deal additional DMG, not counting Jiaoqiu himself.
Pela’s E6 deals additional DMG to the enemies that were hit by Pela after her attack that were inflicted with any debuff.
Welt’s talent deals additional DMG whenever he hits an enemy that is inflicted with any speed reducing debuff.
Could you have both Unarmored AND Cornered on the enemy at the same time? Because when you attack an enemy with Unarmored it’ll turn into Cornered, but then the enemy doesn’t have Unarmored anymore, so you could hit them again and get Unarmored + Cornered at the same time. Or does the turn limit make it so you couldn’t have both? It’s worded a bit confusing.
Can someone pls check, will Cornered state be applied after the DoTs or BS Arcana? Considering how much BS needs EHR, it might really good on her with Acheron.
it states basic attack, skill or ultimate
Unarmored state is applied by skill, ult, basic, while cornered “when the wearer deals damage”. It might sound stupid, be we can’t be sure the the damage from BS Arcana will proc this.
