Let’s put aside all the noises such as “no matter what you say Acheron and Firefly are mid and you are wrong”, the 2.6 beta test early leak is here.
Rappa’s just as old leaks, her ultimate grants an extra turn and 3 charges for enhanced basic and the enhanced basic works like Acheron’s ultimate, the first two strikes are blast attack and the last strike is an AoE attack, substracting toughness at 50% efficiency vs. no Imaginary weak. What’s worrysome, Rappa’s energy cap is 160 and her signature light cone has some kickstarting energy at the begining of the battle, meaning she may be clunky without her signature.
There is a new 4-star Abundance light cone given for free via an event.
– Speed +12%
– When the wearer attacks an broken enemy, the wearer gains 5 energy. This effect triggers no more than twice each turn.
There is a new 4-star Destruction light cone in the gacha banners.
– HP +24%
– When the wearer lost or gained HP, increase CD by 36%, lasts 2 turns. This effect triggers no more than once each turn.
There are 2 new relic sets.
The first should be the BiS for Jingliu.
– 2pc: CR +6%
– 4pc: +20% damage amp for ultimate and skill; when casts the ultimate, +20% damage amp for the next cast of skill.
The second should be the BiS for most Harmony units.
– 2pc: Speed +6%
– 4pc: When the wearer casts the skill or ultimate on an ally, increase that ally’s CD by 20%, lasts 2 turns, stacks up to 2 times.

– It’s a fairly generic, if you deal Damage with ult or Skill you get boosted. Even the crit is really nice. Argenti for example will love it.
– The Harmony one ridiculously good. 2pc speed is already all it needs to be worthwhile farming. The fact it’s 4pc effect is decent (it can stack up to 40%) is a W

The set doesn’t change the awkward situation of Jingliu. Replacing +10% Ice damage amp & +12% attack set with +6% crit rate and +20%~40% damage amp has some increment but not fate changing.
It’s actually massive, because Jingliu does not inherently have DMG% in her kit.
She gains 10%, that’s it. On her ultimate. Only while in her buffed state. It’s the only stat she lacks and increasing it leads to explosive gains.
Most importantly it paves the way. She becomes even less Reliant on Bronya or Ruan Mei. Means she can use a Debuffer even better now. Her best team is Robin, Pela + Bronya. The team lacks DMG% buff half the time. It’s not like she’s anywhere close to diminishing returns either, when she reaches like 6k ATK.
If we get 5 Star Pela, Jingliu stonks

Kafka and Black Swan have low pulling priority unless you have one of the two, in which case the other gains some priority but not so much. This comp is dominant in PF, is playable but hard to say dominant in MoC, and is blessing dependant in AS, but requires two limited units and possibly their signature light cones and/or eidolons.
currently DoT archetype are bit behind right now, they really need 3rd DoT Support/Specialist (Ruan Mei doesn’t count u can place Robin the result are same if not better) and not to mention Kafka and BS both are bit underwhelming at E0S0 hopefully Tingyun 5 star Elevate DoT to the Next Level.🔥🔥

She feels a bit too old. You give her detonation ability to another 5 star, and she’ll never be heard from again
If they create another DoT detonator, people would simply put Kafka, and (insert your latest DoT detonator here) together on the same team.
Kafka is balanced arround her ability to Detonate DoT, that why her DoT MV value is low.

I’m getting pissed of people labeling everything as doomposting. Every fair criticism was on point. Acheron is worthless without her Lightcone, Firefly only has one team, so on and so forth. Doomposting is simply outlying problems which may or may not be a deal breaker for induvial players.
An undoompostable character is Neuvillete from Genshin, outright breaking the game the entire game. I doubt anyone wants that
Most 5 stars in this game are painfully average. Till you get hit in the face by a Robin, and suddenly everyone is crying for fewer Robin showcases. It’s not doomposting to say pull only if you like, you might need a Signature Lightcone and dedicated supports. By that point, ur shiny “falsely doomposted” character had a lot of help to become good. Good in endgame content tailor made for them, with conforming blessings and enemies

People call that doomposting because nobody else regard Acheron and Firefly as weak. Saying some strong units are bad or mid from a lame logic or reasoning is what usually called doomposting.
General consensus is awful though. The fact a silly, biased Prydwen tierlist has any sway says enough. If you ever feel like losing neurons, read reddit. Free lobo. Just look at Yunli, outright ignored. No one is talking about the easily most broken DPS in recent times. Yet act like the restriction ridden waifu ones are god’s gift to humanity.
An unfairly character regarded as bad would be Jingliu. I mean yeah, she absolutely sucks at the moment, because the last Ice enemy was added months ago, and was carefully designed to counter her to the core.
I’m sure Firefly will be awesome, till they cut all the Fire weak enemies and break mechanics. Strength is goofy to compare. People are proudly boasting Feixiao is amazing because she can 0 cycle Hoolay…. do I even have to say anything. Yeah the wind single target boss, falls easiest to the wind single target DPS. You can’t even make this up
I give you more credit than Dazz does, simply because we saw the downfall of a character that Hoyo just kept making enemies for. Jingliu was literally unstoppable until Acherons release but the second they stopped making ice weak enemies she fell of a cliff unless you dedicated some expensive supports. The same supports that can make any character good. Seele is outright the best character right now not in tier 0 with those supports because she is literally the fasted clear in the game rn. A Seele with Sparkle, Robin and Bronya/TY as supports clears faster than literally anyone else and it’s not even risky because you clear so fast enemies barely get time to attack you. Yet she’s considered by most to have fallen off and to no longer be meta at all but the people who actually know what she can do have 0 cycled since month 2. (Only because at month 1 no one was at a high enough level to clear with anyone.)
But tbh, we still have to wait and see with a lot of the stuff you are saying. You say Firefly will fall off, but atm that is only a guess because you said it yourself, there has yet to be an enemy she isn’t clearly able to defeat. Sure she has only 1 team, but 2 of those team members are literally f2p members that can use really any LC to be good. RM is the only p2w character and even then, everyone already had her before Firefly even released so Firefly was basically made to excel in the current game for basically everyone playing. She’s a free clear as things stand and anything beyond that is guess work. Could she fall off like Jingliu could? Sure, but will she? Tbh i kinda doubt it.
I mean Firefly isn’t doing particularly great against Hoolay for example. I have no doubt the average player will clear in like 5 cycles. And that’s with a really good blessing to boot.
I wouldn’t say Jingliu fell of a cliff. She 0 cycled both Argenties, regardless of blessing at E0. I’d say it’s actually scary she can still keep up, considering how much untapped potential she has. Tallying up all the self buffs, Jingliu is akin to Acheron, where she appreciates Nihilities more than Harmonies. Couple that with the lack of a good relic set. With E1 Robin, Jingliu was also able to 0 Cycle Choir, which is fairly reasonable.
Seele is fairly rated, unless you use private servers or are inhumanly good. The level of investment you need to make her pop off is insane. Yeah we’ve all seen the clears with a “f2p friendly team”, just forget about the 175 win set supports and the ridiculous relic stats. I will agree though, Seele is REALLY good if you have whaled up supports. An E2 Sparkle there, an E1 Robin here, and yeah. She’s wiping the floor with enemies. Helps a lot she synergies with everything and abuses so many mechanics
I simply feel any human being should stay away from Seele. Soo it’s fine to discourage normies from pulling, because using some cope relics & team, only to skill for 30k will feel awful.
Oh and, I feel like we’re having a weird meshup when talking about meta.
Sureee if you wanna talk about, best theoretically performance where everything is optimized, Absolutely shoot Seele to the moon. But there’s no universe where the likes of Kafka, Topaz or Firefly are even in the conversation. Anyone worth their salt knows for instance how much of a menance Boothill is, his feats are insane all across the board. Ratio was long a top 5 DPS, like half a year before Prydwen rightfully updated their tierlist.
But it was fine to not talk about these things because, you have to be an insane 0 cycler for them to matter. I absolutely agree Firefly is a fantastic character for some casual player. I unfortunately cannot say the same thing in a meta relevance conversation. Reminder, Meta means most effective, not coziest and reliable way to 5 cycle
I never viewed Jingliu as a powerful unit, at least not powerful enough to be everlastingly the top of meta. I saw not only the Ice weak treatment, but also her non-flexible damage dealing patterns and the fact she is prone to wear off her buffs. Jingliu didn’t benefit much from Sparkle and Robin, at least didn’t benefit as much as many others, plus the Ice weak treatment expired, plus the MoC enemies have their HP increased, meaning she is much less likely to kill everything fast enough to dodge her flaws.
A metagame is a game where builds or factions compete about the likelihood of winning a competitive tournament, and a meta build is a trending build in the metagame. Such as the metagame of MTG is a game where archetypes of decks compete about the likelihood of winning a competitive tournament. In HSR there are no real competitive tournaments so there isn’t really a metagame that worth a disgussion. The closest thing is the likelihood of clearing an unknown future MoC / PF / AS, but that’s again not worth a disgussion because nobody forecasts the 1.4m * 2 Hoolay boss before they see it with their own eyes.
Congrats, you finally found a unit that Firefly is relativelly not good against, a super fast, high toughness, no Imaginary weak, 2-phased single target boss and it becomes a proof of Firefly being mid. A Firefly at E0S0 destroys it in 3 cycles and it’s already more than enough, you know? What else do you expect from a Destruction unit’s single target performance? Outperforming Feixiao? Dream more Firefly counters in the MoC and you will dream her fall off like Jingliu.
@Reina it wouldnt let me reply to u below but idk how u think what im saying is an over exaggeration, most people dont have SW, pela and guanifen on wind set, they’re not going to get that many stacks. with the addition of JQ if a player has him on their acc sure they’ll get faster than 5 clears at e0 s0 but the average player w above average artifacts struggles w an on element enemy because e0 s0 (and by s0 im talking about GNSW s1 cause its not like thats a LC u get just get multiple copies of easily) is so much weaker than e0 s1. just look at this video (https://youtu.be/rnw60AjVn8A?si=CBuciIP_Gc9eK1cA) this guy has 3 gacha LCs at s5 and could only clear within 4 cycles, and u cant even complain about crit rate because with e1 + set bonus acheron literally has 88% crit rate so the statement i made wasnt really absurd cause the average player doesnt have these stats or LC’s at S5. so to act like the avg player is clearing in around 3 cycles and that 5+ is an over the top framing is insane. Acheron is a diff character at e0 s1.

Jingliu never fell off. She was simply not given the tools to succeed. If it isn’t a testament to her power idk what is. Being above average with scraps
4 Patches of no ice weak enemies. Since launch hoyo couldn’t release a Nihlity rivaling Harmonies. They couldn’t release a set which beats 25 crit Damage. What a poor excuse of a gacha game, LMFAOO, the bar is in the ground. Making it seem like dealing damage with your skill is this niche hard to buff, hyper specific character.
I said she fell off. Coz she went from dealing 350k in the teams i used to 150k with me not understanding why. Went from easily killing things in a few turns to taking several attacks to actually do something. Went from clearing the entire round to only killing p1 of the 2p MoC within the same span of time.
Jingliu, Bronya, Pela, Huohuo < Was my team that i used. I noticed the damage starting to disappear, so i got RM to go with her. Yet despite the increase i still felt the damage lacked a bit compared to even Mono quantum. I ran an Acheron team and Mono quantum for ages even though i knew SW and Seele didn't really work together well. It could still clear within a few cycles and sometimes even 0 cycle (E2 team other than Seele.) so i kept going with it until legit last MoC when Dazz asked me to try Acheron with Sparkle and to abandon the mono quantum team so i did and i noticed a big improvement to Acheron. Since then i've been working on my second team to try and find another team. Going to get Robin next patch at E1/S1 to see if i can do what other Seele mains can do and to also try Jingliu with her. Honestly wondering what Jingliu, RM, Robin and Huohuo could do together. I can't find anyone using them all together. Though i have heard Robin teams like TY or Bronya to go with her so they can either give her energy or an extra turn to get her ult off as soon as possible. But we shall see. The reason i say Jingliu fell off is simply because. Jingliu, Ty/Bronya, RM and HH is weaker than my Mono quantum set up. Yet it use to be stronger before 2.X Thus i implied that Jingliu was kinda carried by enemies weak to her abilities.
I’m still running Seele mono quantum. The team is able to clear the most recent MoC first nodes in 2 cycles and the second node in 3 cycles as it used to be. Didn’t manage to 0-cycle with Seele yet, the Kafka boss is merciless I cannot withstand without a proper sustainer.
Meanwhile, my E2 Firefly 0-cycles the first node and 2-cycles the second node.
There was no enemy taking increased ice damage or skill damage or anything. The sharp drop is odd and on you. Or ur trying to bruteforce, in which case the damage is absolutely not disappointing.
You did mention having E2’s though, so I seriously don’t get why ur even surprised. E0S1 Acheron with E2 Sparkle should 0 cycle anything short of Hoolay.
It’s an unfair comparison. E1S1 Jingliu with E1 Robin can and has also 0 cycled pretty much any boss or enemy out there. It’s not as if Jingliu falls of at that investment. Anecdotally, I’ve hit 1 Mill vs 3 ice weak enemies just by pressing my ultimate

The low damage in MoC to this day makes no sense to me but it is what it is. Perhaps as you say, with E1/S1 Robin i’ll be all G with Jingliu again. Also yes, i was trying to bruit force it.

NO OTHER LC in the game enables the character to get an extra ult per cyle, consistently and prydwen just ignore that. Fire fly has literally had 2 MOCs catered to her lol, lets see what happens when theres an MOC where that 2 turn pyro weakness runs out and gallagher just simply cant break anymore. Yeah I’ll give it to you, Acheron can clear Stages fast with a garbo team. Thats’ becasue THE BOSS DIES TO THE MECHANICS. The boss deals like 1/4 of it’s HP on it’s own, and doubles your damage with a self debuff Acheron can use exceptionally well.
2 Cycles also very generously assumes you know what you are doing, have good relics and reset a ton. Go clear any other elite/boss/MoC with Lil Gui and no Lightcone, and yeah you will absolutely take 5 cycles if not more. Acheron without her Lightcone is JingYuan tier. And that’s fine, Jingyuan 2 cycles Hoolay

My friend, you need 9 Slashed Dream to activate Acheron’s ult. Her lightcone only allows you to gain 1 extra SD per turn. To get an “extra” ult per cycle with her LC, Acheron needs to take 9 turns, 9 f***** turns… let that sink in… per cycle.
Just stop regurgitating nonsense without taking a step back to think. If you manage to get one extra Ult in the whole battle thanks to that LC, that’s all you’re gonna get. No wonder Prydwen’s ignoring it.
So much for that broken LC. The worst you can do with GNSW S5 is drop a cycle and that’s not even garanteed to happen. Not throwing shade on the LC btw, just putting things in the correct context.

I know what you were trying to argue against, but my reply was to him so i was trying to keep in on topic. He tries to say Acheron takes 5+ cycles when we all knows that BS as Gui and Call by themselves take 4. Is Acheron the reason it only takes 2 to 3? Maybe not, but she does only take 2 to 3 with this team which she works really well with in this cycle against these enemies.
I also dislike people saying a char needs their LC to be good when they don’t. Is Acherons LC broken? Yes, it is. But it’s also less broken with the release of JQ since he provides so many stacks that you can afford to lose a few. You don’t even need a sustain anymore. Acheron, Sparkle and JQ 0 cycle.
Except your first example is already completely wrong. Acheron is definitely much stronger with her Lightcone, but saying she is “worthless without her Lightcone” is the most incorrect doomposting I’ve heard all month.

and last but not least DON’T pull every unit by doing so u spread ur resource thin. Focus on certain unit u really like for Example if you Like DoT focus on Kafka and BS with E1S1 at least both and if you like FuA focus on E1S1 Robin and E0S1 DPS you like and start from there.

Yes Yunli and Boothill are contenders for the strongest DPSes in the game, I’ve literally been saying that since forever, and here as well. We AGREE on that. That’ what I’ve been saying. All these META ANAYISTS ON REDDIT literally didn’t give a F*** when the 3 latest and broken physical 5 stars released. I said Neuvillete is overtuned, yes.

Acheron was decent with GNSW or Welt LC on SW/Pela/Sustain or Robin, using any other than SW, Pela and JQ is Massive cope
I have Acheron myself without Sig LC equipped with Welt LC S3 (don’t ask me how 🥹🥹) and she was decent i was capable 0 cycling MoC on her release and planning to grab Her Sig LC cause her sig are powerful. She was crazy powerful if you had her Sig LC and fulfilling 100% Def shred paired with Harmony unit.
People Overrate Acheron because she had massive DMG per Screenshoot not realizing it was DMG from overkilling weakling, the reason why she so good at 0 cycling is because she had massive frontloaded DMG and can abuse 100% Def shred and one Harmony unit paired with her Will shoot up her DMG to the Moon,
We just don’t have Nihility unit that really can be comparable to current Harmony unit we have right now (stand proud JQ you are strong)
it’s a Gacha community “Doomposting” always happen (superiority complex i must say) and Yes any unit in HSR should be Measured on E0S1 standard, and for your own sanity don’t argue to people pointing Prydfraud as their Gospel. even Dr. Ration cannot cure their Stupidity and Ignorance
Everyone has different opinions, Acheron is still okay at E0S0 even with her F2P team unless 4 – 5 cycles is already in the realm of worthless for you then it is a personal issue. Firefly is fine for casuals, I think most people are clear about that she needs that one team before pulling, if they didn’t then they simply didn’t care about performance that much to begin with. I still haven’t find the people around me complaining anything about Firefly simply because they only want to grab the rewards without much effort
Most 5 star are average in a hoyo game without the broken support or premium team is the most Hoyo thing ever ( not that I am defending them ), go complain to Hoyoverse instead of a leak page xD
A genuinely concern, I think you should just stop coming up here or interact with any parts of the community way too much, I understand you love the game and have more passion with the endgame performances. But if it ” pissed ” you off, then it is definitely unhealthy to keep up, when people don’t agree with you, just ignore them and enjoy thing on your own or whoever that share the same opinions. If you think Firefly is mid, Acheron is worthless then you are free to think so, found other overhype them ? then keep thinking so but you don’t need to correct others, if you are correct then they will eventually feel it, but if they don’t then it doesn’t matter in the first place for them, cheer!

What are people’s thoughts on quadruple banners?
If it means characters rerun faster I don’t have a problem with it
More rerun banners is always preferable to one at a time, though the distribution is kind of annoying. Two reruns per banner period would be ideal, 3-1 is more annoying for F2P players. But again, it’s better than always sticking to one rerun at a time. Would love to see them move to two reruns per banner period on a permanent basis, but I don’t think Hoyo has done that in any of their games yet so it seems unlikely.
I’m positive overall as it’s a good fit for the fast character release rate. Just wish it was 2x+2x instead of 3x+1x for the rerun banners though. Unless they plan on doing 3x+3x later on.
I think it’s better than creating a separate cringe banner, with standard 5 stars sprinkled in, a not shared pitty system etc
It’s worrying though, cause HSR is vomiting characters without relenting. Sometimes dead patches are good to save up. Having 12 banners in a patch, makes it VERY likely you’ll wanna pull.
I’d like both Robin and Feixiao but if I don’t get one they’ll probably come back faster then they would’ve otherwise

Pretty clearly bait, especially since 3 of the reruns are in phase 1 instead of an even 2-2 split and thus would be over before the 2.6 program announces the reruns for that patch, which makes planning pulls much harder.
I assume the intention from Hoyo is to get people to spend a ton on the phase 1 banners (hence why it includes Kafka and Robin) and then, once those banners are done and everyone’s bankrupt themselves, they’ll announce 2.6 has Acheron and/or Firefly reruns to get people to spend money for more pulls to get the meta waifus
Seems the wildfire of Genshin has spread to HSR. What Genshin didn’t have earned as expected is being asked for from HSR instead.
I’m kinda worried to be honest.
Seems good at first glance, but they said it will not have a fixed frequency. So if the triple rerun banner only comes once in a blue moon instead of every patch, I think it’s just a predatory FOMO weapon to screw up everyone’s savings with surprise reruns no one is ready for in an attempt to force more wallets open.
If it’s something frequent and happens every patch, than I think it’s good and actually less anxiety inducing, as it gives us a feeling of “safety” that reruns happens faster and we will have more opportunities for characters we like.
Hoyo says the triple rerun will come back at no certain frequency, meaning we have no idea which is the case.
