My baseline: Archeron + SW E0 + Pela E5 VS Lv95 Enemy = 100% (100% DEF shred)
Acheron + SW E0 + BlackSwan E0 + LC Reso R5 = 120.5% (99.8% DEF shred + 20.8% vulne)
Acheron + SW E0 + PinkFoxian E0 + LC Reso R5 = 124.8% (79% DEF shred + 55% vulne)
so bs it is only 3.6% increase from swan supporting Acheron to nuke boss
only good side he has very low energy (100), 2 turn ult accessible
Some of those numbers don’t seem right…
– 20.8% Vuln on the BS team? Did you mean the 25% from her Ult?
– 55% Vuln on JQ? His kit only has 40% in total?
– Also what’s with the extra 10% Def shred from the BS and JQ teams? Don’t think I’m forgetting anything and surely that’s not the Quantum set, no?
I’m not even gonna bother checking your percentage comparisons if those are even remotely correct.
Also… 2-turn Ult JQ?
Yeah maybe if you have him wear Tutorial S5 (which means taking it away from SW), 2pc ER and ER Rope, and have him only use Skill: 5+30+30+8+8 = 81 * 1.2444 = 100.7964
But he doesn’t even *need* a 2-turn Ult because his Ult is field-type and lasts for 3 turns anyway.
jiaoqiu has vulnerability in his ult besides the talent one
Ah right, the Ult Vulnerability. I normally wouldn’t sum that up since it’s a separate type, but anyway…
Looking ONLY at her Ult’s main target damage, it’s 118.31% for the BS team and 120.83% for the JQ team.
* Big caveat in accounting for the Vuln for BS Ult because you have to wait for a specific time to use Acheron Ult, and you only get the bonus on the single enemy that’s currently taking their turn. Arguably unreliable and I wouldn’t normally bother factoring it since it’s bad for dual-boss or mob clearing.
You are right you are right.
Thanks for pointing out those wonky numbers.
I recalculated (25% vul for swan, remove 10%def shred), and the result is 111.9%, 114.3% = 2.1% increase from swan team, now we both have a pretty close result
Agree the big caveat.
I’ve doubled checked my sheets and it seems I’ve had a little mistake on my end (Reso LC was disabled on the SW/Pela sheet). Now I have matching numbers as well.
111.88% for the BS team and 114.26% for the JQ team.
Other major upsides outside of the minor damage increase is that he:
– Is faster at stacking acheron’s ult, especially with eagle set and with silverwolf eagle set too. Because when enemies take turn they also gain a debuff
– More consistent in applying debuff and therefore increases acheron’s damage outside of her ult, to kill small fries that dont need overkill damage. Especially in pure fiction, his ult is disgustingly good. He makes acheron more viable in pure fiction.
– Can deal substansial damage as a sub dps
Entirely agree.
Can’t wait for Acheron’s pet fox.
Hmm, idk, not really quite feeling this guy tbh. I think I’ll skip for now. Sure, he’s an upgrade to Acheron teams, but doesn’t really feel NECESSARY to me.
wise dude, imagine kiana comes out and deal 10x midcheron dps with the same price of e0 foxman that can’t heal and can’t dot
Acheron the best damage dealer in the game and I’ve full cleared all the endgame content with her. If ur mad u didn’t get her just say that lol cause she aint mid
go back to reddit scrub, no one will upvote you here for attaking random person while faking a “rich” begger owning an e0 archeron
My Acheron E2S1 she tuff. Crazy the things you can afford when you have a job. Ever considered getting one?
even with job that make $100000 a month, spending money on this kind of stuff (cons or lc refinement) is the stupidest decision an adult could ever made.
The stupidest decision an adult could ever made is using the extra money on drugs and alcohol. Not to mention that at least we know Hoyo invested those money back in something good for the world like concerts, anime, children’s hospital, and a literal nuclear reactor.
Saw an e2s1 run with a kafka team. very underwhelming, what the heck. i think e0-e1 ruan mei is far better than an e2s1 jiaoqiu and much team flexible too. that or his really stuck as an exclusive acheron support. can’t see him being a big upgrade to any debuffer at the moment, except acheron.
Looks like he’s only good for Acheron and Ratio so far
can anyone recommended me a good set for him plus the best stat i wnt to prefarm for him
Obligatory these are my initial thoughts, very subject to change, get a second opinion, etc.
If you want a full support build (go fast, apply debuffs)
go 2pc Messenger with another 2pc with whatever has effect hit rate and speed.
For planar go Pan-Galactic for hit rate, or you can pick up any of the supporting planars like Keel, Penacony, etc. depending on your team
If you want to maximize damage:
Pioneer is probably best, since he can trigger the 4pc effectively. At E2+, Prisoner likely becomes better in a DoT team.
Glamoth, Izumo, and Pan-Galactic are all viable, depending on your team. Glamoth is generalist, Izumo should work fine pre-E2 and if you run 2+ Nihilities, and Pan-Galactic gives hit rate.
In general I think your build will be
Chest: Effect Hit Rate to help hit his debuffs and A4 buff
Speed shoes
Fire damage orb >> Atk%. If going support go for HP/DEF ideally but whatever has the speed/effect hit rate you need is fine
ERR Rope
So if I pull e2 can I make him a main dps?
Can someone explain how the 2nd part of his A2 do?
His A2? it means that while his ult is up, enemies take damage at the start of their turns.
Interestingly, this is NOT a DoT effect, likely because it is tied to the ultimate and not applied to the enemy.
To add to what Despicable Said… this damage is “Additional DMG.” In case you’ve never checked in-game (underlined text tend to be clickable for further details) what “Additional DMG” does, it’s regular Critable damage that does not deplete Toughness.
How does the talent give 10 energy? It has energy regeneration stat on it
Apparently it’s just in the files and doesn’t actually give 10 energy
So probably something from an old version
Pretty big damage boost easy to maintain and some own damage. His boosts are not that big to replace RM or other cracked harmony in their BiS packs.
Will be cracked with Acheron, making her the best DPS in the game again, and decent in some other comps. Another decent support
Just funny to see how SW is kicked out of her last position in Acheron pack. And remember her E2? it was told to be the best her eidolon and one of the strongest in the game. This guy has it in his own mechanics and 1,5 times bigger.
This guy will incinerate SW’s corpse on her funeral.
His A2 applies a Hit Rate debuff, not Eff Res. Enemies are less likely to apply debuffs as a defensive bonus for the team (now that he has no heals).
1. Jiaoqiu’s maximum energy is 100 and the ultimate lasts 3 turns. With ERR rope, two skills and a basic is enough to fully recharge his ultimate when not counting energy gain from getting hit by the enemies. However it won’t hurt to have a turn of downtime.
2. Despite all damage from Jiaoqiu’s base kit are critable, it is still not worth it to build crits on him. Having pioneer 4pc, izumo 2pc, a crit rate body, and ~20 substats rolls for crit value, his personal damage is roughly doubled but is still at a low ground and his supporting power is unchanged. You also need ~13.4 substats rolls for EHR to compensate the lose of not having the EHR body.
3. With speed boots and messenger 2pc, his speed would be: 98 * 1.06 + 5 + 25 = 133.88. More speed is always welcome, as he stacks for Acheron for every action he takes.
4. He needs 138.1% / 177.8% EHR to guarantee his ultimate and light cone’s debuffs vs. enemies with 30% / 40% resistance.
He has +28% EHR from minor trace. Assuming we use EHR body and corpo set 2pc on him:
– To reach 138.1% EHR, you need 0 / ~14.2 substats rolls on EHR at E0S1 / E0S0.
– To reach 177.8% EHR, you need ~9.4 / ~24.8 substats rolls on EHR at E0S1 / E0S0.
His signature gives a surprising 60% EHR at S1 and that’s even higher than Silver Wolf’s signature at S5.
so….. this NPC is good for Acheron, rumor said? hmm…..
