However, she bears the burden of the Moon Rage affliction. If she were to hunt down all the abominations in her limited lifetime — then the only enemy Feixiao has would be herself. |
| Character Story: Part I | A hint of metallic smell of blood and unrest hangs in the air. "Neergul..." She gently pats the trembling partner by her side, "I smell... A chance for freedom. Tonight is the night." "Saran, the bodies of the three foxian slaves that tried to escape are still hanging on the gates..." "No, tonight is different." She raises her head and stares off into the distance as a giant streaming light slowly traces across the sky. "Tonight, there will be shooting stars." She takes her companion's hand in hers,"It's okay. Just keep looking forward and don't look back." Under the cold and brilliant light of the shooting stars, two delicate silhouettes race across the endless plains. The bloodstained air whips at their faces as the chilling howls of the wolves endlessly stir up the fear buried deep in their blood. However, she never doubted that they would escape the wolf pack's pursuit. As long as they wish on the "shooting star," it would shine down on them. If they just chase that light in the sky, they would reach where it lies in the distance. As they continue to run with all their strength, it seems as if the light is growing ever nearer. That is no "shooting star." It's a woman who could fly. She calls herself the General of the Xianzhou Yaoqing. Her name is Yueyu. In the distance, a military force that she had never seen before comes rushing from behind her, as countless arrows flow past her head to rain down on the pursuing borisin. "Look, Neergul! The shooting star granted our wish!" She shouts joyously, never once looking back. She does not see this "shooting star" falling to the ground and reduces everything to silence. * Unlocked at Character Level |
| Character Story: Part II | In the Yaoqing military barracks, she puts on the armor of the Cloud Knights and picks up a weapon. A new language, a new way of life, a new name and new battle tactics. She studies in intense agony, yet learns everything quickly. She would follow Yueyu into battle and bear the general's flag. During their countless conquests, she becomes an elite warrior. The battle cry would still occasionally echo in her ears from time to time, but she initially believed that was just fear. Until one day she closes her eyes as a warm scarlet flows across her vision. She thinks that she sees a sanguineous moon gently calling out to her, stirring up the blood in her veins. Her skin begins to split inch after inch as a wild power pours into her body like roaring waves — She realizes that, with just a gentle tiptoe, she could move in unrivaled speed like a flash of light. She traverses the battlefield, bathed in blood, delivering death to her enemies before they even realize what is happening. A fissure in the enemy's ranks begins to grow wider and wider. As the long battle continues under a rain of blood, her movements seem to grow only faster. No one could hope to match her speed. Fear... That is what she sees in the eyes of her enemies. All that she feels in her body is intimidation and rage. When she regains her senses, she looks back on the path she has covered to see only borisin corpses behind her, piled higher and higher. The Yaoqing soldiers are looking at her from a distance, their eyes filled with surprise, admiration, and also fear. She collapses to the ground. When she wakes up, Yueyu sits alone by her bedside as muffled voices reach her ears from outside the tent. "Didn't you see that she had no tail? That's a bit too..." "Is it natural? That's an awful shame." "She used to be a borisin war slave after all... Explains her raw ferocity." "You couldn't tell she was in 'Moon Rage'? I was about to wet myself at the sight. Thought she couldn't recognize anyone..." "But if it wasn't for her, we might not have been able to win so easily this time." She realizes that these voices will likely follow her for the rest of her life. * Unlocked at Character Level |
| Character Story: Part III | She had once returned to her old home of Koolur. However, what greeted her there was neither the roar of wolves nor the call of foxes, but simply a bottomless ravine. After the light waves had engulfed everything in flames, not even bones remained. However, she still follows the shooting star. Everyone here follows it — It is the light of the Reignbow, their spiritual support in times of great danger. That's precisely why she could not believe her eyes when the Denizens of Abundance attacked again — the shooting star is now descending on them. Even if there are countless Abominations of Abundance gathering there, there are also countless Yaoqing soldiers boldly fighting to the death. Yet the sound of the shooting star splitting the skies grows ever closer, like the footsteps of death itself. Her whole body feels cold, like she had suddenly plummeted to the icy depths of hell. Under the light of the Reignbow, even the general she has always regarded as invincible is ground to dust. She desperately runs onto the battlefield, trying to bring back any survivors, until she loses consciousness in the residual light. She looses a roar of rage into the air, but no one can hear her. Everything is reduced to silence. From that day, she would have constant nightmares. People in her dreams would reach out their hands to her but, before she could arrive to help them, they are devoured by the light. "More... I have to save more..." She would awake from these dreams with her face covered in tears. But she knows that all her promises could only ever be fulfilled on the battlefield. She puts on her armor and walks to the very front of the formation. She allows the madness to seep into her blood and uses her bare hands to tear open a crimson path for her forces to advance. She descends on the enemy like a meteor, and mountain-like beasts crumble to dust under the force of her attacks. She single-handedly pushes the enemy armies to retreat before her soldiers' eyes. "The Merlin's Claw! The Merlin's Claw!" The weak call she heard before has completely transformed into a battle cry, as a great and primitive will wake with her infection. She stands still among the rain of blood and roars out in a berserk rage "I promise you all. One day, I will be faster than the Reignbow's Lux Arrow. One day, we shall no longer have to witness the falling of 'shooting stars.'" On that day, in that rain, she is reborn and recast in blood and fire. * Unlocked at Character Level |
| Character Story: Part IV | Today is a rare day of rest. By the time that dawn started to break, she had already set off from her home, but her destination is a little different today. Today is the day of her periodical health inspection. "Do you get dizzy?" "No." "Spells of fatigue?" "No." "Any irregularities with your heart?" "No." The foxian doctor furrows his brows. "General, with all due respect, if everything were as normal, these reports of yours would be sheer nonsense. You and I both know that the consequences of Moon Rage are becoming more frequent and pronounced. All I can do is try my best to slow it down." "So?" "But it is all just a matter of time. I fear that, in the future, you will completely lose yourself, never to..." She smiles. "You are responsible for 'curing' me, and I am responsible for 'curing' war. We promised that we would both give our all to these roles." After receiving her medication, she deliberately takes a long route home across a quiet and secluded path. On the other side of the wall, she can hear the bustling and excited sounds of people in a packed market street. The calls of vendors and the laughter of children rise and fall. "What a wonderful time this is." She murmurs to herself. Suddenly, a Yellowbell Resonance System notification begins to ring in her ears: "We have secured a resounding victory against Toste-VIII abominations." "We have secured a resounding victory against the Sakin Chadu abominations thanks to the IPC's assistance after initial setbacks." "We have secured a resounding victory in the battle of Gordo." "..." Before her life ends, she will hunt down every one of her nemeses. Until the day that Moon Rage turns her into a truly feral beast that cannot tell friends from foe. Until the day... when the arrow of The Hunt will pierce her own heart. * Unlocked at Character Level |

Throw away your copium cigarettes and face the reality, right now this unit literally cannot be normally played without her BiS team. Will hoyos change it? I hope so. Is Feixiao bad? No. Her damage is pretty good in BiS team. Remember, her ultimate is stacked pretty fast (in the right team, surely) and you all often underestimate the unreleased characters (I STILL REMEMBER HERE SERIOUSLY ADVISED TO PULL JY INSTEAD OF ACHERON HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
The worst thing about it: The damage difference of single ultimate may not seem that drastical in BiS and not BiS team, but according to my calcs, in BiS team she gains stacks like 30-40% faster than in f2p comp. And this difference won’t disappear no matter how they rework or buff her because 5* FuA supports are just far too stronger than their cheap analogues.
By the way, giving Moze to Feixiao is BULLSHIT since he disappears and can’t use basics while enemy with prey status exists. Moze is far too weak himself and you have like zero reasons to use him anywhere.
March 7th is maybe playable but still the difference is absurd.
The best approach on pulling, aside from “Because I want him/her”, is to concentrate on the archetype and set a board for it and build and collect your puzzle pieces for that.
Feixiao is a piece for the FuA archetype. If you don’t have a have an already decent FuA board, she would just be an awkward puzzle sitting on a board.
There is a difference between “you SHOULD play in comp of her archetype support” and “Get a bunch of archetype support or this is unplayable”.

Is her BiS team the same as Ratio’s or is it different? She seems pretty cool to me but I’m missing Topaz from the premium FUA team so I’m sceptical on whether or not I can actually build a team around her
Yes, it’s Topaz, Robin and Aventurine.
Topaz is most important here.
You may not have robin and replace her with RM or sparkle. Yes, you’ll lose a ton of damage from her ultimate, but the team will work. You may replace Aven with Lingsha and won’t really lose anything (but you simply cannot use anyone besides them because you must have another source of FuA than Feixiao herself).
But no topaz = no stacks. As the most frequently attacking unit in the game, she just can’t be replaced in Feixiao teams. All her analogues (march, Moze) are not even close in frequency and damage buffs.
I understand you bro, I don’t have aven and most likely won’t be able to get Lingsha as a F2P, but… This is HSR, we can’t do anything about it.
you are so incredibly annoying i hope you know that
Oh, why? because our opinions do not match and I have arguments you can’t deny, so deep inside you agree, but you’re still persuading yourself?
Two comments were a mistake, sorry, but this sometimes happens on honeyhunter.
So I got S5 Herta LC and S5 Swordplay and I wanna run Feixiao with Moze. Which LC should go to which character?
i figured out why Feixao is so slow! both her and march has omni-break! and once the enemy is broken Robin will destroy them almost instantly, yes, ROBIN has become the most broken harmony in hsr and Feixao was designed to be Robin’s breaker not a real dps! So it will be very difficult to buff feixao with her current kit because hoyo designed her in mind to be a personall breaker not a real dps! so if feixao’s kit is not totally reworked to remove the omni break she will not likely to receive many big buffs !
Could you elaborate what you mean by omni-break? Like how does Robin play a role in this and how Feixiao is supposed to be a driver for Robin?
They’re trolling… I think
but omni break probably refers to them ignoring weakness type
I guess that means Acheron was meant to be a breaker for Nahility teams too smh smh. Since she also has “omni break”.
Could you elaborate what you mean by omni-break? Like how does Robin play a role in this and how Feixiao is supposed to be a driver for Robin?
the point is : most speedrun i see stack huge atk on robin, get her energy then break the boss ( the guy that claimed to 0 cycle with seelou did it with his 210 speed 0 atk seelou), so in a PROMAX comp that include robin, 3 remaining slots aren’t really matter, the only priority is first: who can follow 2nd: who can break the most. THAT’s why the 3 mediorce IPC 5 stars got their job in ROBINRAT comp then shamelessly called themself IPCRAT team!
you could say the same for ff break comp but the MAIN diffenrence is ruanmei did little damage of her own but a well built robin can solo the boss !
So when is the v2 or v3 going to release?
what are the changes? Any buffs and nerfs? because no matter what feixiao will always be sh*t no matter what how the way her ult stack work they need to change it.
Any changes on feixiao in v2 or v3? any buffs or nerfs? because no matter what feixiao to me will always be sh*t no matter what from how the way her ult stack works they need to change it.
Trash kit so far. Only usable at E2.
This is an example of how NOT to do constructive criticism
The writer “Kazuki” expresses their distaste for the subject “Feixiao” however neglects to suggest improvements, instead opting to write the misleading statement that Feixiao is “only usable at E2” If a less informed individual were to be influenced by the aforementioned statement they may believe it to be fact and further spread the misleading message.
Words brief as the breeze,
Can you paint them in detail?
Tell more of the tale.
I wanna know what kush you are smoking
So I got S5 Herta LC and S5 Swordplay and I wanna run Feixiao with Moze. Which LC should go to which character?
Basically L+Ratio powercrept. You can either play her with premium FuA team, replacing Ratio. Or you can play her with copium hoping that you’ll stack her ultimate fast enough.
well Ratio is better because by the time she gets her stacks Ratio would kill the enemy
As a summary Feixiao is not in a good state right now. She has high ceiling but also very low floor.
Why she is low floor :
– is hunt unit, which brings low value compared to other paths, in the current game state.
– at E0S0, needs 24 teammates attacks to activate 12 stacks Ult (or 12 attacks for 6 stack Ult). This will definitely not allow her to Ult often.
– F2P LCs are not very valuable VS her signature
– her best team is a 5* premium team (aventurine, topaz, Robin), which is extremely expensive, otherwise the f2p options are moze and hunt March, which perform much worse than the premium team.
Why she is high ceiling :
– her E2 doubles her Ult frequency, which is a massive spike in her damage output
– her LC is arguably one of the best stats wise.
– her premium team allows her to cumulated even more stacks.
Overall, at high ceiling she could easily be the best DPS in the game (with the default of being hunt, but I am sure there will be a new game mode tailored for hunt units), at low floor, she is definitely worse than acheron / firefly, and most probably at DHIL / jingliu level.
It’s a skip to me. A unit requiring 6 limited 5* characters, and one limited 5* LC to perform well is a no go. Unless you’re a whale, there is no incentive to pull her.
Let’s wait for next version changes.
“– F2P LCs are not very valuable VS her signature”
Bro, Swordplay is up there, and Ratio’s sig is better than hers.
Hunt is not a bad path lol. Topaz aside, all other limited Hunts have been meta. Boothill is in the talks for the best DPS in the tame. Ratio and Seele are no pushovers. The former 0 cycled SAM and the latter 0 cycled almost every MoC ever and def every Pure Fiction
Stop citing uncultured opinions, especially when talking about potential and ceeling.
how close is ratio’s lc compared to her signature?
it does depend on what team you are using her and Dr.Ratio’s lightcone on.
I accidentally posted my last comment without an explanation.
If you use the lightcone on her premium FuA team (Topaz – Robin – Aventurine ) you might not get the full effect of the light cone considering the 3 debuffs.
Straight up damage wise, Dr.Ratio’s should deal a little bit more damage because you get Crit damage, the def ignore , Crit damage increase and FuA buff.
Her Signiture light cone gives you 15% crit which is very nice for building her, you can focus less on trying to find Crit rate and more on finding things like speed and Crit Damage. not to mention the Base attack of her lightcone is higher.
it also opens up the door for you to use Pela and Silver Wolf better because of the Def Shred. Pela with 40%, Silver wolf with 45% , Resolution Lightcone with 16% and Her Signiture with 54% Def ignore. I don’t know how Def shred and ignore stack so i cannot say how much of a Damage increase it will give but i do know that Def ignore and Shred are very very good because of the incremenal damage increase uppon stacking them.
I am kind of waiting on someone else going over that and actually doing the math on it, just because i do not know how it works exactly.
What would be a good 4* alternative for her lc? excluding herta lc, swordplay and final victor seemed viable. can someone do the math?
I am not going to do the math because it is going to take up so much time if i do but…
if we exclude SP – FV – and Aeon, River Flows in spring would be the next best option, only if you are able to keep her from getting damaged. the speed and Damage boost are nice, specially because you can S5 the lightcone from the Moc shop.
Return to darkness would be fine for building because of the 12% Crit but it will not make you deal more damage otherwise. the secondary effect has been proven pretty useless, the only enemy that has a buff you want to remove and that can be remove is the Abundance General.
Subscribe for more would defeat the whole purpose of Fei Xiao’s kit, holding on to the Ult for a long time is not what you wanna do with her, at least this iteration of Fei Xiao.
Only silence remains would also be fine but not ideal, the conditional Crit is just a pain in the butt so if you wanna use it, be sure to take Fei Xiao into fights where there are only 2 enemies on the field at all time, otherwise you just use River flows in spring.
I would say, all the 3 star lighcones are just not an option for DPS characters, the base stats are just way to low, you would lose a lot of stats.
not to mention the effects are only active for 3 turns beside the Adversarial lightcone.
These are just my thoughts and speculations right now.
Maybe later down the line i will do the math but for now, this is what i think would be suitable for her.
P.S – of the 3 lightcones that are excluded, Herta’s is overall the better one, 16% free crit is great and the base stats are very nice, if you have good uptime on the secondary effect, its going to be your best choice.
If you have a good amount of Crit Final Victor if you second best choice, otherwise Sword play is a little better, but this also depends on what super-impotion you have them on.
Return to Darkness increases her Crit Rate% by 12. You can get it at level 30 of the Battle Pass. Feixiao’s signature gives 12% Crit Rate% boost too so I would say that is a good 4* substitute.
Return to darkness really isnt very good especially for a paid LC
it really isn’t great but the base stats of that light cone is higher then every other 4 star lightcone and that should be considered.
In my opinion, it should be considered about 4th of the non- 5 star lightcones.
Swordplay, Final victor and River flows in spring should be considered first, especially because the last 2 can be S5’d for free (kinda) through the shop.
feixiao has got that rizz
