uhm.. im not smart so dont bully me, but the one time effect thing, is it per cast? like cyrene buffs anaxa once, anaxa does the skill, he loses the buff; if cyrene buffs anaxa again, he will gain the buff again right? that just prevent from being able to uber cast twice in a row?

Didn’t add this to my comment, but I personally find her really unique, and she will definitely have a great lifespan in the meta if Hoyo fixes some of the issues she has in her kit right now. Also, yes, I think Elation will work with Cyrene. But I think so because I don’t think any of the elation characters will be chrysos heirs like Cyrene wants.
I am kind of wondering if Cyrene + Cerydra combo would be able to effectively time “Anaxa-Exodia” turn with 2* (2+3) = 10 skill uses, or it wont work and will only make 7 iterations (2*2+3).
Cyrene does not add 3 skill casts, she adds 3 bounces to the 5 he does by default per skill cast. So that’s still just 4 skill casts, but each of them is 60% stronger

Good for me. Never gave a shit about Elysia chick that HI3 banshees screech about. She is boring as hell as far as her character in HSR goes. I couldn’t care less about her and her stupid reused model from Hi3. If this is how Elysia too was, then she indeed was as overhyped as I thought. Never invested into remembrance flopcoin, so couldn’t care less about her. The only characters I did pull from 3.0 patches were The Herta, Tribbie, Hysilens for my Kafka, and Cerydra just because I liked her. In short: None of characters that I own give a damn too much about me having her as the only DPS that I have, The Herta, doesn’t give a single damn about her, and she isn’t touching either Kafka, nor my Swan, in DoT team with her mid ass rehashed model looking ass. The other two are support units that only care about main dps in the team so…. LOL! Zero value for me here!
4.0 can’t come soon enough as far as I care. Will see if I’ll care to invest into Elation coin. If I see it’s same bs as scamembrance, I’ll just go for those character I like and/or can help characters that I do like to shine further.

HoYo clearly put a lot of effort into this character.
This is only V1 so we cannot know yet how she will end up.
Currently she can only Top Up All Ultimates 1 time in battle.
In MoC it is fine, but in PF it is not that good.
When a battle is short that Top Up can save you a whole Cycle, but when the battle is long it won’t matter much.
Individual Chrysos Heir specific Buffs are cool, each get one tailored for them.
Some are great, some are not so much.
It does worry me that it is basically life support for older units and lets face it, in HSR Power Creep is so high, probably even with Cyrene, 4.0 or 4.2 Characters will Power Creep all 3.x Characters so Cyrene won’t be able to keep them alive any longer than that.
On top of that, she doesn’t seem to be that great with non Chrysos Heirs so a 4.x Harmony will probably Power Creep Cyrene instantly.
I like Cyrene, I think her Kit is interesting and good.
I am not sure that tieing her usefullness to old Characters while giving much less for future units was a good idea tho.
We shall see how she ends up by the end of Beta, but for now I think that she will be Power Crept by the next new Harmony in 4.x
I really like Remembrance Characters and it is good that she has a non Chrysos Heir dependant synergy with Remembrance Characters aswell, but even then… we shall see.
Since the Trailblazer will probably get a new Path in 4.x I also do not understand the extra synergy with RMC.
Seems pointless, but maybe it is for those players who skip a certain new Meta in 4.x
Considering how slow her Ultimate is stacked in a normal Team, I think it would be fine if her Ultimate would Top Up All Ultimates not only 1 time in Battle, but every time she gets 24 stacks.
After all, imagine how lame it would be if Robin could Action Advance the whole Team only 1 time in Battle with her Ultimate.
The ability to charge ultimates would be insane if repeatable. Her mini-ults only take 12 stacks. Robin ult alone, if timed well, will give 5 stacks instantly(two from allies acting, 3 from Cyrene’s empowered attack), more if memosprites are included. There could easily be a team that, through either memosprites, DDD stacking, or other means, gets to 10-12 stacks right there. Sure, they could just nerf the mini-ult to 24 stacks as well, but then it would really limit the number of buffs she can give in a reasonable fight, which I think is a fun part of her kit and should stay accessible.
As for the Trailblazer, I hope we will get an easier path swap mechanic in the future, that allows one to just play whatever version of MC they want as long as they don’t use more than one per team or endgame fight.
You keep talking about inevitable power creep and then advocating for power creep while not realizing that her design is the ‘safe’ power creep. At this point she’s going to be the most powerful support in the game. If Tribbie is the standard for overpowered supports, she’s probably going to send Tribbie to the unemployment lines for many a team.
But because she’s tied to specific characters, she doesn’t creep overall – she’s likely okay for most other characters (true damage doesn’t discriminate), but so long as one of those THIRTEEN other guys stays relevant, she does as well. And I don’t think 4.x supports will creep her, how would they creep a special interaction dedicated support (and there’d have to be two of them).
I think it’s a good solution and avoids a Robin situation where Feixiao becomes that much more powerful, before she even releases, leading to either an under tuned Feixiao, or a big spike in power.
Trailblazer isn’t locked into one singular path. Destruction/Preservation are obviously weak, and Fugue is a limited improved form from Harmony, but Harmony TB is still strong, and with rumors of 3.8, we might be seeing a resurgence of break, which may create more opportunities for her to shine. RMC is super generic and with true damage not caring if it’s 1.0 or 10.0 (probably), she’ll remain relevant so long as characters like extra turns, unmitigated damage, and crit damage.
I don’t think her utility is in activating other’s ults. It could go away completely and she’s still be really strong with those unique buffs
