  1. As long as Eidolons and Signature LCs only add more DMG but don’t change how a character works I am fine with that.

    Sadly Acheron’s E2 changes how she is played and also her Signature LC is more than a stat stick.
    I hate that.

    Aglaea’s E1 is very much needed if you want her to have no Energy problems and stay in her Supreme State!
    Making a character intentionally flawed and then selling the solution is disgusting!
    That E1 should be part of her base Kit! (At least the Energy parts.)

    Whales will pull E6S1 anyways so I do not understand why HoYo has to mess with everybody by doing scummy things like these.

    Even if E1 would increase DMG by 20%
    Then E2 would give Extra 20% Crit Rate and 50% Crit DMG
    Whales would still pull for them!

    No need to make E1 do an extra thing and E2 remove an annoying restriction and totally change how a character is played!
    Eidolons and Signature LCs should only be stat sticks, and not a missing part of the Character’s Kit that should be part of the base Kit, but it is not!

      Thats exactly the problem. Whales are gonna e6s5 anyway. So their money is guaranteed no matter what they put there.
      So whos left? Us brokies and f2ps, and whats the best way to make us pull? Feel like we are missing out, in this case we are missing QoL/more dmg.
      So if a e1 makes ppl spend more pulls EVEN if they dont buy extra pulls, it just means they will eventually HAVE to buy more pulls since they overspent.
      The idea behind it is “What do we need to do to make the brokies and f2ps spend 10 to 15 bucks on this character” the money doesnt come from whales, it comes from the dolphins, they out number the whales from 1/100000, meaning if they spend 15 bucks and the whale spends 1000 its 1000 to 1.5M, meaning that you get more money from the low spenders.
      I just simple economics, and sadly its working.

      • HoYo is playing a risky game.
        Intentionally releasing flawed characters at E0S0 and selling the fix in the Eidolons or Sig LCs just gonna make players upset and eventually the game will have a bad reputation and players will leave in masses.

      • You are absolutely right. The whale money is secured. Why bother. It is all about how to break the ice with people who never paid a dime in this game. F2Ps all along have been nothing but unrealized gains. Free social media marketers who wait to be reeled in for profit.

        Still think it depends a lot on the game if whales or dolphins dominate in sales. In HSR it is probably the dolphics. If not the game would be balanced around E6S5 and not E0S1.
        But nowadays with Aglaea they are pushing the envelope to E1S1. As in her case if you have 1 of the 2 missing, you have an incomplete unit. The E1 is more important. But without the S1 you don’t achieve the Hyperspeed setup with Sunday that easily which gives you more actions.

        • If players stop pulling characters that are designed intentionally flawed and the fix for them is the E1, E2, or S1, then HoYo will stop doing this.
          Otherwise as long as players pull for these intentionally flawed characters, HoYo has no reason to stop this greedy tactic at all.

          I hope that players will realize this and stop pulling those intentionally flawed characters.
          Eidolons and Sig LCs should be upgrades for a character not a Fix for intentionally planted flaws in their Kits!

          • Unfortunately, some baits work… =( I went for E1 Jade and E1 Aglaea to be able to enjoy my characters more in more teams =( It make them look like different characters.

            I know I’m a pigeon but I’m happy I did it because it really makes me enjoy the game more. On the other side I’m a gear of this unfair system now and it’s not great either =(

  2. Since I saw it spammed a lot “Making puzzles optional is what they did in ZZZ and they’ll remove it from the game later”
    Making puzzles optional is NOT how they handled TV mode in ZZZ
    TV mode was nuked from the story in 1.1 and hasn’t been included since, then the mode was replaced with Eous exploration in 1.4, presumably it’ll be reimplemented into story at some point
