Any pre-farm recommendation? I already got a set for him (Eagle + Vonwaqc) but since his SPD is 94 I have to think twice…
I’ve seen some showcases with him and I’m very unsure. Does he really Therta’s best erudition partner? I have doubts. Should I really waste my hard earned steller jades for an aoe silverwolf? He’s not even a waifu…
Aside from him being one of the 2 erudition units being able to buff allies , the other being jade with her speed buff . He is the most frequent attacking erudition aside from himeko with fugue . The weakness implant is just his gimmick , you will not pull him for it unless you are some of the crazy people I have seen wanting to run as a superbreak carry .
In the end pull for units you like but remember people said the same thing for Acheron and Jiaoqiu .
he is not even an aoe silverwolf people overstimate his weakness aplication. He doesnt reduce the element resistance so its not that usefull, only for lower the shield, u dont do more damage at all
Is rutilant arena his best planar for hypercarry?
can someone explain his e6?
Simple explanation is every time he uses his Ultimate, he’ll gain a permanent damage boost until the battle is over. It’s worded very strangely and I think some of his kit isn’t translated properly yet, so the exact numbers for how much the damage increase is isn’t obvious, but I assume it’s a good boosts to all of his damage.
Strange character. Obviously too weak to be a single DPS, 480% bounce from skill under a condition is not that strong, 21% def shred, 60% DMG bonus and 140% CrD are cool, but not enough.
He looks pretty similar to SW, cuz devs once again overestimate weakness implement, it’s not THAT strong to pick him over any harmony in any team if his only buff is funny 30% DMG, if there’s other erudition.
When they try to split a character between being a DPS and a support, they get dogshit in the end.
I don’t think even buffed Anaxa will become meta if they won’t give him a really huge damage source, since as a support he fits nowhere since only playable erudition core is Herta and she needs frequent attacks (Anaxa 94 base speed LOL) and as a core he’s simply too weak compared to other modern dps.
I really want him to find his place. I won’t be surprised AT ALL if they somehow decide to give him for free since after Castorice his selling will be as low as the floor.
Unlike SW he doesn’t truly implant weakness, I wouldn’t call him a debuffer because he doesn’t even reduce their res.
Something you need to understand is he takes double turns every turn as long as he meets the conditions and he gets ult every other turn easily with either an energy rope, passkey or his LC (although passkey would shaft his damage) so his Herta stacks generation is very high and he has good synergy with wind set. He’s also flexible with SP.
As a solo DPS he gets that 140 Crit DMG which makes his DMG quite a bit better, although ironically performs best in single target because of his bounce attacks, he can shred the new AS Hoolay. His MoC performance is more middling I think I saw a 2 cycle clear but I don’t know what the blessing was.
His def traces, base spd and his multis could use improving I think. Also his passive that gives dmg I think should be improved because it’s much weaker than the (mutually exclusive) 140% crit dmg he gets solo. His actual kit design however I like a lot.
This comment is too long and I’ve already forgotten half of what I wrote.
His skill is 600% ATK under a condition, you forgot the initial hit of both skills
its still v1 beta test bro, obviously it will changes later
Anaxa nation how we feeling?
Wind set or Scholar?
I’d say Scholar for Hypercarry, Eagle for THerta sub-dps and 0 Cycles/Low AV clears
i knew they’d release someone else to work with the herta, so happy i didn’t fall for the jade rerun (she’s good i just love men)
Anaxa, I believe, is the Erudition version of Feixiao. He’s a jack of all trades, but with the addition of AoE, which is why Feixiao is weak against.
Both of them can go multiple DPS, hypercarry, hyperspeed (altho Anaxa has an abysmal base SPD), and even Break.
They’re also pretty good boss killers, but Anaxa can also get rid of minions. And if only the boss is left, well, hypercarry Anaxa (without erudition teammates) can shred HP of one enemy faster than Therta.
Anaxa and Feixiao, for me, are future-proof DPS characters. Even if Hunt/Single-target DPS is a bit weak rn, that’s not going to be the case forever…right?
Correction: I meant his A4, not his A2. Dodogama, in the event that you see this, I’d like to make the suggestion to make it to where we can edit comments.
He’s packing heat so he’s top priority after Mydei for me. That said, I have a couple of questions:
First, I see so many videos and comments alike going Therta this, Therta that. As someone who skipped her, is Therta-less Anaxa doable? If so, who would make for a good secondary DPS alongside him so he can still get the A2?
Second, as things currently stand, what seem to be his BiS sets? Should I go Crit Rate or DMG for the body piece?
I think an 80/100 crit ratio would be ideal for him, so probably crit rate body.
for planar sets I think izumo would be good.
As for 4 piece, I see a lot of people using wind set, but also seeing as he gives quantum weakness to, perhaps people will try using the old quantum 4 piece.
Pioneer diver may also work well. And lastly scholar lost in erudition would probably be good as well.
As for erudition teammates, you definitely don’t need THerta to use him. She’ll probably end up being one of the best teammates for him but I’m sure he can work well with anyone. Break with rappa is questionable rn but other than that I think the only thing to worry about would be skill points.
Hope this helped 😀 sorry for long chunk haha.
For partners, don’t know if you have her but… Jade?
Jade being SP positive, you can easily spam Skill with Anaxa… Since Anaxa hits (up to) 10 targets per turn, that’s a Jade follow-up every time.
Also Jade will boost Anaxa’s very low SPD by a massive amount, so you won’t have to farm for SPD substats.
However, if you don’t have Jade, I don’t know if I would recommend pulling her over Herta.
Then, deciding between CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG will depend on the CRIT DMG bonuses you’ll get in battle.
For example, with a Herta+RMC team, that’s around 335% CRIT DMG (without any substat or body piece).
In this context, I’m pretty sure adding another 64.8% CRIT DMG with a body piece gets you far into diminishing return territory.
Since you don’t have Herta and assuming you won’t use RMC, that’s now 50+140 at base value. 190% CRIT DMG is already strong.
I would prioritize a high CRIT Rate and get as close to 100% as possible.
crit rate body since he gets 140 from A4. Either crit rate body or make sure he has constant 100% crit rate in battle.
About relics, if his weakness implant counts as a debuff (I highly doubt) then pioneer is probably the best, if not then scholar is his bis.
The crit dmg from his trace only activates when he’s the sole erudition, so in dual comps he gets a lot less (based on the description and showcases we’ve seen of him)
Without Herta I’d prefer to run him as a hypercarry instead
They could change the passive later to not be mutually exclusive though
Oh that’s interesting, so you’d either run him as a hypercarry or a “support” for another Erudition unit? That’s kinda cool but I do hope that they make it not mutually exclusive, especially because there are way stronger passives (cough THerta cough Castorice).
oohhh i thought it was a Acheron type deal. Then yeah fuk the herta i guess
Damn it, I should have known, it makes so much more sense now.
I was wondering why Hoyo would put his CRIT DMG value far above 300% in a RMC+Herta team.
That’s deep into diminishing return territory. You’re absolutely right, it is a mutually exclusive buff.
Thanks for the warning!
so is that mean when there 2 erudition on team, his 140% crit damage passive didnt work due replaced by 30% damage bonus? I thought both passives in A4 trace would appear together if there were 2 eruditions in one team, but it turns out not to be the case huh?
Based on this V1, it does seem so. But things could change later (for better or worse).
By the way, MJ Metzner was wondering if Anaxa’s Weakness type implant was working as a debuff.
I was testing a mechanic with Firefly against a Toughness-locked Aurumaton. Two things:
• You can still implant a Weakness type even if the target has locked its Toughness gauge
• Implanted Weakness types DO count as debuffs (obviously, Weakness types already there do not)
So theoretically, you can apply 4-7 debuffs just with E0 Anaxa. One more with his LC, another one with E1.
Although Dr. Ratio stonks took a deep dive after Feixiao… the man will appreciate his fellow scholar.
