I’m planning on running Acheron with E6 Guinnaifen and E1S1 Black Swan and Huo Huo. Is this team good?
ITS YOUR TIME TO SHINE NOW DOOMPOSTER ARMY
So, someone with a good grasp on Acheron’s numbers, how does Acheron compare to Jing Yuan numbers wise with these conditions:
E0 Acheron (S5 GNSW, Pioneer+new planar) with E0 SW and E6 Pela
vs
E0 Jing Yuan (S5 genius’ repose, ashblazing+salsotto, atk% boots) with E0 Sparkle and E6 Tingyun
assuming neither gets any benefit from their sustainer
imo probably JY(not trying to make Acheron look bad but I have a reason in mind)
sparkle just advance forwards JY which can make a part of his back loaded dps be released sooner therefore a more consistent dps rather than Acheron thats just my idea
How many enemies and how ideal are the LL bounces? Cos both JY’s LL and the FUA set complicates things a bit.
Also, what’s the Spd for everyone else?
Personally, I have TY and Sparkle at 161 and 160 spd, so for fairness I’d assume all supports are 160/161
And 3 and 5 enemies are both pretty common scenarios rn
I’d assume LL bounces are average luck
Both characters have a lot of conditions, I just want people to have a good enough idea of how they compare
personally i really liked her animations.
But her damage multipliers is low i guess.
idk what am i gonna do, can someone give me advice :/
I wouldn’t call her multipliers low… they’re very high, just infrequent
better version of argenti=acheron.
they are not at all the same, their only thing in common is their focus on ult dmg
she have restrict ultimate, like argenti with 180energy
multiple hit from ultimate, to cover their sh17ness against single target enemy.
need synergy
acheron e0 need 2 nihility allies in party
meanwhile argenti need tingyun & huo huo.
see the same thing.
but shame they dint give her crit rate buff on her kit.
imagine use total of 3 nihility in party, without harmony.
you probably need a lot of crit rate because her dmg are multiple hit.
i know fuxuan can cover that, but surely player will skip fuxuan again for bonka wonka dps powercreept mid-jinglu.(they said)
That last sentence gave me a stroke ngl
Personally I don’t think Argenti’s ult is at all restrictive, in cases where its needed, his 1/2 ult has the lowest energy cost in the game, whereas Acheron is only capable of her full power nuke
And he doesn’t require Huohuo although she’s good for him
Imo Argenti is one of the most versatile units, even though he may not always be the optimal choice
The more I think about it the more meh Acheron seems even at full potential, should I just pull Jing Yuan or Sparkle at this point?
if you think acheron is meh, then jing yuan is probably worse
jingyuan its fine, but you need a lot of effort to build him. most important you need his signature lc.
he also need around 135-140spd
(with ruan mei 130-135spd are enough)
to get full stack of LL (ultimate needed)
as jingyuan main, do everything to increase his personal dmg so i clown my self pulling topaz for him, turn out she good with general.
i test by my self use
sparkle/jy/ruan mei/fuxuan.
topaz/jy/ruan mei/fuxuan.
tingyun/jy/ruan mei/fuxuan.
with sparkle jy ultimate & skill dmg is drasticaly increase against 3 enemies or more, sparkle are not bronya sometimes you cant get full stack LL.
with topaz jy defeating 3 enemy (or less) more faster.
jy weakness is elite/boss that able to summon mob, so topaz can prior the elite/boss, meanwhile jy clear the mobs.
with tingyun/jy can have 10stack of LL more often,
but i personaly prefer with topaz.
sorry bad grammar😶🌫️
Sparkle is just amazing, Jing Yuan is great if you have Sparkle
I see. I think I will save for Acheron, and then save for an inevitable new 5* nihility debuffer.
worst Argenti with cool ultimate+female =acheron
she have restrict ultimate, like argenti with 180energy
multiple hit from ultimate, to cover their sh17ness against single target enemy.
need synergy
acheron e0 need 2 nihility allies in party
meanwhile argenti need tingyun & huo huo.
see the same thing.
but shame they dint give her crit rate buff on her kit, at e0 argenti have 25%crit rate buff, even Free ratio have free 15%crit rate.
imagine use total of 3 nihility in party, without harmony.
you probably need a lot of crit rate because her dmg are multiple hit, even with 70%crit rate you still miss around 20-30%crit on 10hit or more.
i know fuxuan can cover that, but surely player will skip fuxuan again for bonka wonka dps powercreept mid-jinglu.(they said)
At E6, which plannar would work better for Acheron? IGTDR or Inert salsotto?
I was gone for 3 days what happended here.
Honeyhunter happened
The point with Acheron is that with each new Nihility debuffer, she becomes stronger. Her A4 is only a problem because we don’t have too much Nihility chars now, but even now we can use Pela/SW/Guinaifen and it’s more than enough for F2P. The same also applies for lightcones, but it’s a valid concern because we don’t have too much replacements now. Perhaps a 4* crit Nihility lightcone in a future?
That’s good for Acheron and all, but other characters also constantly grow stronger with new nihilities, and unlike Acheron they benefit from harmonies too
Unlike DoTers who boost Kafka constantly and only Kafka, debuffers boost anyone who can make use of their debuffs, a 5* AoE def/res shredder would be useful to every single dmg dealer in the game
I think Acheron’s in a good place, but I don’t think we should expect her to constantly receive boosts (especially since our last debuffer was SW and there have been 4 harmony units released since)
That’s a fair point but the thing is, as general DPS units rise in value with the release of more supports, those supports will be contested by other general DPS units. Like how Seele, QQ, Jingyuan, DHIL, and so on would love to have Sparkle.
On the other hand, Acheron is currently the only limited nihility unit that functions with a focus on nihility debuffing rather than general supports, making her specific supports lowly contested compared to characters like Ruan Mei, Bronya, Sparkle, and future harmony units.
Most people would rather have buffers over debuffers because most debuffers rely on EHR which can be a bothersome stat to farm, making most debuffers available for Acheron compared to other DPS units. The only unit right now that wants debuffing is Ratio, but that debuffing doesn’t have to come from Nihility, it can also come from units like Topaz or Aventurine. So yeah, in my opinion, she will age better than more general DPS units. Her restrictions are both a blessing and a curse for her.
That’s fair, like I said I think she’s in an okay spot
I think she’ll age well, just a little… awkwardly
While Acheron is apparantly not a powercreeper, at least not immediately, it still makes no sense to compare her with Jing Yuan.
I think there’s good reason to compare them, as they’re both backloaded lightning DPSes who require specific conditions to reach their peak performance
that said they’re not the same
Both have their nukes backloaded onto 1 attack.
Both “Need” their LCs to be good.
Both have limited supports at release.
Though, personally, I think it’s more egregious on Acheron.
She would be like JY when released. Too many restrictions, too many necessities. She would only grow as we get more units.
