| Character Details | From that holy land blessed by the tripartite prophecy, the messenger split into a thousand forms, embarking on a long journey. | Character Story: Part I | "Date: ▇▇▇ / ▇▇ It's been ten years since we fled Janusopolis. In those ten years, we measured the earth with our steps, unknowingly covering every corner of Amphoreus. The spread of the black tide has been far worse than expected. From west to east, from south to north, even cities high in the sky have not been spared... We watched as tiny nations were consumed overnight by the growing black tide, turning all life into its fuel, surging forward with even greater force... The once-glorious past of Amphoreus is gone, replaced by overwhelming decay, raging Titans, fallen heroes, and displaced people. But those consumed by the Strife fail to see. The black tide has drawn near the inland cities. These cities are rich and well-connected, thriving on trade, but some dismissed our prophecy as nonsense and saw us as mere priests of bad omens, with no one listening, no one caring... If it takes shedding blood to unite the people, why not let it start with us? Tri▇▇▇▇, I know you went to the front lines to send word of the black tide's advance, only to be struck down by the arrows of Black Tide Creatures. Tri▇▇▇▇, I know you helped the refugees escape, only to be despised by the nobility and left to die by an assassin's dagger. Tri▇▇▇▇, I know you escorted lost children, so close to safety. Your bright braids are now soaked in blood, and we can no longer braid or care for them. With the fall of one city after another, the people are beginning to look beyond their endless conflicts and see the world on the brink of collapse. The blood of the innocent will not be shed in vain. We've walked the first steps through thorns, hoping those who follow us will go farther than we ever could..." * Unlocked at Character Level |
| Character Story: Part II | "Date: ▇▇▇ / ▇▇ 'Holy Maiden, we are ready to listen. Guide us through these end times and pray for our victory in battle,' said the kings. The kings restored the identity of the Holy Maiden of Janus to us, placed us on an altar, dressed us in silk, and concealed our faces with ceremony. Yet, we did not return to the city but lived in the castle. We wished to pray for the sick farmers and wandering warriors, to ease the sorrow of the grieving, to guide the lost, to bless the newly-weds, and to watch them sing around the bonfire. Yet, just as it was in Janusopolis, the kings were unwilling to see us mingle with the people... Mother, at this moment, we truly understand your helplessness and despair back then. We once believed that the prophecy would compel the kings to set aside their grievances and unite in search of the Chrysos Heirs, offering a glimmer of hope for salvation. Yet, they fear those with golden blood might strip them of their power. What they desire are wars waged in the name of prophecy. The hard-earned trust and the expectant gazes of the people are gradually being eroded. The Coreflame of Janus burns ever hotter, and the golden prophecy continues to scrutinize us, urging us onward. We decided to flee. Tri▇▇▇▇ and Trianne opened the Century Gate, planning to meet in the dense forest, but encountered a rain of poisoned arrows. Trianne dodged a disaster but was unfortunately taken hostage by soldiers, becoming increasingly distant from us. Tri▇▇▇▇ chose to charge at the enemy's spear, clinging to the soldier who tried to withdraw his weapon, but we underestimated the king's cruelty. Even in death, we could not be claimed by other city-states. ... The pain inflicted was many times greater than usual. This spring, most of us remain forever in the wilds where flowers have yet to bloom. Goodbye, Tri▇▇▇▇. Goodbye, Tri▇▇▇▇. Goodbye, Tri▇▇▇▇. ... Trianne, we are not yet ready to say goodbye to you. Please be sure to find us again... Tonight, we will be able to cross this wilderness." * Unlocked at Character Level |
| Character Story: Part III | "Date: ▇▇▇ / ▇▇ The first time we met Agy, she told us she was fond of the name Tribios, praising it as noble and beautiful, much like the garments she crafted. We asked if that was her sole reason for keeping us around. She shook her head, explaining she mainly wanted to hear this teacher's nightly tales. Agy was also just a girl back then, afraid of the dark and ghosts. Remembering how her cravings led us on stealthy trips to the kitchen for leftover bread at night always brings a smile to our faces. Time is a sculptor, and having shaped Cerydra and Hysilens, now it has rendered Agy beautifully. Agy never lets anyone down, just as we've always taught her. Her golden threads weave a dense net, ensnaring any foe that dares come close to her fingertips. Yet the Cleaners who dwell in the shadows ambushed our team on the return journey. The assassins loyal to the Council of Elders would never allow the growth of Chrysos Heir who could lead the holy city of Okhema. We are no different. We, too, would rather sacrifice ourselves rather than stand by and look on as the young heroes' lives were cut short — We managed to escape the ordeal using the Century Gate, though our consciousness grew hazy by one more portion... After the last passage through the Century Gate, I feared we'd never find Trinnon and Tribbie again... Don't worry, Agy. It's not our time yet. We just need a brief rest, and we'll be back on our feet... But we must hasten our steps now..." * Unlocked at Character Level |
| Character Story: Part IV | "Date: ▇▇▇ / ▇▇ The dreams are fading...Hyacine said it's because there's less and less we can remember. But today, we dreamed of countless paths stretching into the darkness. The sky was pitch black, and we kept running and running, but no matter how far we went, we couldn't find a way out... 'Don't be afraid. The brvae is here!' The supremely mighty Snowy descended from the sky, driving away the monsters for us. 'Teacher, fly forward!' The tiny purple Cas flapped her wings, blowing away the stones ahead. 'Bang Bang!' The strong gray raccoon struck with great force! 'Hmph—' The red lion devoured the villains! Our reliable new companions! They took the torches from those who came before, each one lighting up the darkness in turn. But the torchlight in our hands is dying down — we need to hurry forward! — With this thought, our bodies began to grow, becoming so big that we could touch the sky without even lifting our hands. Our toes sank into the vast blue sea, while green leaves sporuted from our fingertips. Trianne's voice became the sound of rushing wind, carrying distant sands, and Trinnon rested upon soft, snow-capped mountains, ears filled with the lullaby of wind and rain. And so we walked and walked, and soon there was only one path left before us — Ahead, the sky turned rosy, the ground silver-white. The west wind blew, and the fields were in full bloom. Wait... this place feels familiar. Is this Amphoreus? The roadside springs tasted of hoeny and milk, and the trees were heavy with endless fruit. As we walked on, the moon and stars climbed the sky — that was Tri▇ gliding among them! Ahead of us was also Tri▇, Tri▇, Tri▇... It turns out everyone was waiting for us at the destination! Look, there in the distance, Mother is greeting us! She's waving, smiling at us! Shall we go? Hmm, one day we will come! But our journey isn't over yet! So, see you tomorrow? We will meet 'tomorrow'! Yes, see you tomorrow." * Unlocked at Character Level |

I’ve been out of the loop about this entire patch, is tribbie actually just as universal as ruan mei? I also heard she can compete with robin is this true, I’m very impressed if this is legit
crazy that no one is complaining about her technique not casting her E and giver her 30 energy only to make one of her traces useless. Its essentially a ruan mei technique with extra steps.
Trace that give 30 energy have v2 text, in v5 this trace give 1,5 energy for every enemy hit by an ally in addtion to original effect.
V3 Tribbie was the best Harmony, surpassing Robin in every team you can think of (even fua, red flag!). But, now, hotfixed V4. Robin has successfully protected her niche.
Still, I’d argue that fua feels almost like Erudition since they hit so often. This’s why Fei is good in PF despite ST (carried by small Herta btw). What does it mean? Fua teams now can charge her ult nearly as quickly as Aoe teams, except Therta who’s in another league. Tribbie now can still compete in Robin’s niche, and don’t forget Jade + small Herta! Tribbie may, if not will, replace Robin there. Even in non-fua ST, right after V4 she’s just a bit short of energy to use ult again after a rotation. With this change, her uptime is practically 100%. Can Robin achieve that?
Another point, she can now charge her ult fast af boy, as a Harmony. It’s a perfect recipe of DDD. Spamming DDD, Tribbie makes 100% teamwide AA… not a selling point of Robin. She now approaches level of Robin in 0 cycles.
Robin mains were very… umm… when they saw Tribbie nerfed to Sparkle level. Now, the table has turned. David was just wanna balancing around her. “Call me the ambulance… [show 1.5 energy for each target hit] but not for me.” With a short period of time, David has baited many people to pull for Robin. Feel sorry for those who were FOMO’d; you didn’t deserve this trickery 😔. He has many predatory targets to punish now.
I don’t think, at this point, there’s no reason to pull for Robin now, except for some very niche fua teams. Just get Tribbie, (arguably, for now) your best Harmony, your best 0 cycler you can have, and your best future proof char (atk buffer is dead).
David is right behind you
He’s gonna get you
who tf is David? o.O
God
who tf delete my comments i post for tribbie v5? you have problem if i post the changes? talk to me
You mean that post on the main page of “New in 3.1”?
Because that hasn’t been deleted, despite being in the wrong place.
Her buff value at E0 isn’t even close to Ruan Mei’s level. In terms of universality, Ruan Mei beats her, and she’s also slow, so she won’t generate as much SP. In an HP-scaling meta, what’s stopping you from using RMC, Sunday, and Ruan Mei? In an attack-scaling meta, we have Robin, Sunday, Ruan Mei, and Sparkle. The only team she’s dominating is AoE teams, which I know is the meta right now. But don’t pretend she’s a must-pull when you have so many alternatives. If people pull her expecting her to outperform every other Harmony unit at E0, I’d suggest they just skip her if they already have Ruan Mei. However, at higher investment, she’s definitely broken and the current best Harmony unit. Personally, I think she’ll age as poorly as Sparkle, and there will be better options in the future. When the meta changes, her value will only get worse. As of right now, she’s just a unit designed to bait people into pulling for Eidolons and her LC that’s it. She’s definitely not a must-pull, and skipping her won’t brick your account.
Tribbie is boosting damage more then Ruan Mei in any team with DMG% >= 95%. She also deals damage all the time with her Field + FuAs and has 100% uptime on her buffs once they’re online, which automatically makes her better than RM in crit teams.
Robin wins in damage boosting, has uptime issues on her ult and deals less damage than Tribbie, but wins in most ATK scaling teams due to her Action Advance.
Whether Tribbie is better than Robin and RM is entirely team dependent, they’re sidegrades for casual players, just pick what you like.
Also people said the EXACT SAME THING for Robin, we’ll see how fast mfs are asking for a rerun lol
Promise me you’ll make a similar post about the next harmony please 😀
Nah I couldn’t. I’m leaving soon
For how long this time?
Me as Robin e1s1 haver and also plan to pull Tribbie at least e0s1, “Hah…ha…ha…ha…I’d win”.
Classic character main doompost
Mini hotfix came in and long story short: It’s to make her ult uptime better.
Bad thing though: This assumes content is PF tier when it comes to aoe shilling. You might think all is dandy because MOC and everything now is hard aoe check, but do take in note that meta shifts. Papa Hoyo can wake up one day and decide that hard aoe units like erudition should go back to PF, while making content less aoe. Which brings the issue with Tribbie back.
Summary for those who still don’t get it: She is PF support. She will be fine as long as content is like PF i.e. giving bunch of enemies. The moment content stops doing that and switches back more to the normal that was before 3.0, then she is cooked.
She always was a “PF” support, her entire kit scales with the amount of enemies lol
Yea, but difference here vs then is that she had unlimited FUA based on allies spamming ults. In theory, even if aoe shilling went away, it would be fine as long as you bring ult spammers. Ult spamming = more FUA = more energy for herself too.
This way though, it’s way too reliant on content to keep being very aoe oriented to hit more enemies for more energy. Especially when her FUA is restricted to only 1 per unit’s ult until she herself ults to reset it. Making her extremely ult reliant for her FUA compared to back then.
Even with buffed er for her, Robin-like ult charging based on others attacking, aoe shilling content itself, there are times in which her ult might be rotation late. This can turn into bigger problem with content going less aoe and one is delusional to think this won’t happen. Content is hard aoe now because they are trying to sell you erudition characters (THerta), but as always, it switches up. What then? Tribbie on DDD is crazy now, but what then? When enemy lineup is smaller? That one potential rotation late can turn into something that you will feel a lot.
This is why I put up my post there to explain it. If their reason for pulling Tribbie might be because they are expecting next Ruan or Robin, they have to take in note that she is those things, but for as long as aoe shilling content allows it. Without it, she is way worse off than them outside of their comfort shilling content.
Does anyone know if her E1 only counts damage from a specific attack or total damage dealt in the round of that attack? Like would the additional damage from Tingyun, Robin’s ult, or Ruan Mei’s talent(if the attack breaks) also count towards the total or only the damage from the attacker themselves?
yes it counts, tribbie own dmg also counts ofc, rmc true dmg doesnt count
Idk why people are so upset, most characters can’t ult faster than once per 2 turns anyways.
Also meshing cogs will still enable you to ult within 2 turns so I also don’t get why people are complaining about that.
This balancing change is actually very fair as it keeps serval, argenti, etc. from becoming overpowered, now future and current erudition/destruction units that ult within 2 turns will be on an even playing field with serval, argenti, and other 1-turn ult characters. And there is still an advantage to ult every turn as opposed to every 2 turns as it will double the additional damage triggers and double The Herta’s energy gain from the erudition character.
Some people will be upset but this is just balancing. They did this with Jiaoqiu and people freaked out about that one, but he ended up being incredibly powerful for Acheron. I still use Jiaoqiu to this day. So pleeeease stop throwing a hissy fit every time they make the tiniest of changes, Tribbie is still the most powerful crit buffer for Erudition/Destruction crit characters.
Because less aoe follow-up atk on Tribbie is less energy for The Herta which would lower her possible damage because it’s less possible enhanced skill. This stop The Herta from dominating all game modes and lowering other dps by at least one tier, which is saddening for the fact that hsr only could survive because powercreep is present
did you even fucking read 3B kits before and after the V4? if not then stfu kid. you don’t know shit why people complaining.
bro read her talent again and think again about what you wrote
its not about her ult rotation, its due to her talent getting a cap making her standout less from the support characters
nah kid prob just landed here with zero ideas what is going on and kid think that we all hate 3B without a reason
I wasn’t talking about her ult rotation I was talking about the fact that most characters can’t ult faster than once every 2 turns so tribbie wouldn’t be following up more than 3 times per ult anyways.
The only place where I brought up her own ult rotation was with meshing cogs as she can still ult within 2 turns with meshing cogs, even with the follow-up atk cap.
yeah you clearly missing the point here
true that most characters can only ult once every 2 turns but you are missing the point that tribbie would most likely be built on slow builds (her base spd is even 96 ) and by the time tribbie can ult again your other character probably have gone 2-4 times already
Tribbie can ult in 2 turns so you’ll get the trigger reset before you reach your fourth ult. Idk, I’ll test her when I get her and I’ll see if I can exceed the trigger cap with Jade, Herta, The Herta, or Lingsha. If I can’t, then the 3 FuA limit wouldn’t really matter.
I have to make a follow-up here. I understand that these changes lower her max potential, but I’m trying to make the point that this makes her more balanced. It really doesn’t matter as she can still enable you to clear the phase within 3 or 4 cycles. Like y’all are getting mad over a tiny nerf. Like it’s literally one less follow-up atk.
Correct me If I’m wrong but her E4 that Deals increase additional dmg & deal additional instance of dmg, in V3 was it 1 additional instance for EVERY instance? (hard to see in most vids as the dmg is always summed & I can’t be bothered to do the math.) or is it only 1 additional instance of “add dmg” as it states now.
Also they swapped her E2 & E4. Kinda sad, was aiming for e4 either way but now if I get unlucky with my 55%, Im gonna miss that def ignore.
After v4 change, I’m still here with my popcorn for Robin vs 3B debate.
From the recent V4 showcases, Robin is better. With signature and eidolons, Tribbie could be better, but that’s the bait Hoyo wants you to do: spend more jades.
No, they’re about the same. Robin and Tribbie fill their own niches fairly strongly. I’m tired of all the doomposting, I’ve been able to clear MoC, PF, and AS with max stars ever since I got Feixiao so don’t act like this game is hard. Just get the characters with the playstyles and/or the designs you like and stop getting pissy every time they give a strong character a tiny nerf.
The calculations exist bro. Also why the f you mentioned Feixiao? This ain’t about her.
They nerfed her FUA and buffed her LC. Cogs is no longer a viable f2p option. Fuck this greedy ass company.
V4 rip my cute n funny team Yunli Clara 3B Huo2.
lmaoo as expected. im glad i dont gave them even a single cent anymore since i saw them plagiarizing sunday trailer. Greedy lazy ass company deserve zero money. Im 100% full f2p now. fuck em. Im also gonna stop purchasing any official mihoyo related goodies.
It’s not like they care you know, they still earn tons of money with or without you, sadly.
Yeah please keep supporting the billion dollars indie company
E1S1 Robin or E0S1 Tribbie? What’s the difference? What does Tribbie provide that Robin (at E1) cannot? Only thing I can think of is just the *slightly* higher potential for AoE damage, meaning Tribbie would provide more value in teams using Destruction or Erudition units but I’m not sure if that’s worth getting a limited character over.
Tribby can play in absolutely any squad, while Robin only in a squad with an atk bias
– There are plenty teams that want that atk bonus
– Advance forward is op
– Tribbie is slow, so her sp generation will be horrendous
“Squad with an atk bias” 90% of teams in the game
While I agree with JayZee above, but you know, 3B-she literally got trouble with her ultimate (which can be solved if you pull for her sig.) But at E0 she doesn’t even do that much (tried for E1 bait), you can’t even put her in play with that so-called “any squad” because you literally playing in PF/AP/MoC content and literally not “any squad” because meta doesn’t need it, especially after V4 nerf, Feixiao doesn’t need her, Acheron doesn’t need her, and the Herta can just use Sunday with High speed (better than slowpoke harmony.), in which Robin is a god (I don’t suggest you to pull for Robin sig tho.)
