so constance E4 says:
4. Pity Its Heart Gnawed by Worms
Increases the instances of DMG dealt by Talent’s Follow-Up ATK by 5, and every hit increases the target’s DMG taken by 12%, lasting for 2 turn(s).
her talent is:
The Dahlia launches a Follow-Up ATK, dealing 5 instance(s) of DMG.
so with E4 she does 10 instances of hits with her follow up?
so… and every hit increases dmg taken by 12% … no?
so …. 120% increased dmg taken by enemy for 2 turns? isnt that a little bit … too powerfull for an E4?
am i missing something.
or another question .. does this extra dmg on enemy work with superbreak damage?
if not this is a very niche break eidolon .. more for non break teams but really strange if so releasing something like this on eidolons.
or maybe its just one instance of 12% and eveery hit refhreshes the debuff, but then the wording is just confusing.
i mean why write “every hit” if non of them cant fail in the first place so (i dont remember attacks not hitting a thing), it must be a stackable debuff, right?
“her follow up attack makes enemys get 12% more dmg for 2 tuns” would be enough.
“The Dahlia launches a Follow-Up ATK, dealing 5 instance(s) of DMG, each dealing Fire DMG equal to 30% of The Dahlia’s ATK to one random enemy.”
Debuffs probably don’t stack — looks like it just applies one debuff to all enemies hit.
Is dahlia’s Skill the only Blast attack in the game that has its full multiplier on all three targets? No dropoff on the sides?
destruction trailblazer too
say how do we check which version a character is on?
also if dahlia has highest be then will there not be a second dance partner?
do we run her with lukas lc for more def shred or fermata/ herta shop lc for be
If you’re referring to how her talent assigns “Dance Partner”, it says it grants it to “this unit and the teammate with the highest break effect”. I interpret this as she will always have it, and then the next highest BE character will get it; whether that other unit has more or less BE than her doesn’t matter.
Which that’s only if you aren’t the entering combat, normally it would go to the character who triggered combat. Which even most endgame modes, that’d still mean characters like firefly or rappa would get the buff even if they had lower break effect
How’s the math work on multiple sources of break efficiency? I.e. running both RM and Constance
Break efficiency does not funktion as a multiplier cause every char starts with 100% Ruan Mei and The Dalia as well as FF add another 50%. Does you get diminishing Returns making It better to just run another break support. But honestly, unless you mean dps Ligsha, how would a team with her and Ruan Mei even work, The Dalia doesn’t give superbreak and a break team needs a sustain, a dps, a superbreak enabler and the last slot can be a break support (Dalia/Mei).
“After a “Dance Partner” attacks a Weakness Broken enemy target, the Toughness Reduction from this attack is converted into 1 instance of Super Break DMG at 60%.”
Quote taken from The Dalia’s talent “Who’s Afraid of Constance?”

Constance gives 60% superbreak to her dance partner. FF/Constance/RM/sustain. I’ve got Fugue already, just curious.
I give it one week or maybe two until the kids come back to doompost. 😂
could dahlia be a replacement for fugue? i didn’t get to pull fugue because i spent my pulls on sunday, but i do have firefly and ruanmei e1.
Honestly you might want to run them in the same team since she would be replacing rm
no I think she’s closer to being rm replacement. she and fugue should work fine together. rm supports keeping the enemies broken but dahlia would lose out her skill effect. wait for next version to get their multiplyers
am I the only one who thinks her ult looks like Street Fighter 6 Aki’s trailer?
if i had a nickel for every fire nihility break support that was assumed dead and came out in the last patch of a cycle, i would have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice
I don’t think Constance was ever assumed dead, she was talking to Black Swan in the epilogue of Penacony.
Kit TL;DR:
RM weakness efficiency, superbreak when not broken. Gives carry 60% superbreak, and does Hunt March like superbreak followups. Gives team scaling Break%, speed up on break, and fire break synergy to give FF 50% energy to go straight back into ult.
which sets to use on her ?
be me, skipped entire break engine in 2.0 for dot and acheron. why am i here and when will fugue and rappa(i preffer her over firefly) get a rerun? and why did hoyo make her a break unit? duke dead, constance break, now im only left with the puppet chiq, but with my luck she will be a follow up buff for feixiao. the OTHER engine i ignored
