NGL, I’m lowkey kinda bummed, based on how he was showcased in the fight, I assumed he be more of an AOE buffer/summoner, even in his splash art he has his little summon guys, and I was hoping they’d get to be on my team instead of me just beating em up for mats T-T, plus his kit is kinda just like bronya/sparkle/tinyun/HH, which is cool, but I like when new characters bring something new to the table yknow, not just different version of old characters. Also his kit just seems so…..empty, either way I still plan to pull for him. Fingers crossed for a three dupes in one 10 pull like when I got HH.

  4. I wish I knew ahead of time if we are getting a Party wide Buffer for the Summoner Meta or not.
    Because I like Harmony units like Ruan Mei and Robin a lot more than Single Target Buffers.

  5. Yes, he’s only really playable with Jingyuan at the moment. BUT. Something that’s obvious is that summon meta is upon us. I think it’s better to pull Sunday now because people who don’t are probably gonna regret it when the strong characters with summons start getting released. I skipped Robin at first and then they started releasing FuA characters and I always felt like I lacked Robin.

    • I mean they’ll rerun him eventually so even if people don’t get him now they can later. They reran both Robin and Topaz giga early just for Feixiao, so if a super summon unit shows up, they’ll do the same.

      This is assuming they don’t creep him from now till then that is lol

    • You will that Summon Meta will still prefer either 2 damage dealer or breaking or both, both of which Robin and Ruan Mei can provide with better proficiency.

      Wait until they release a summon buffer ON THE 3.X patches. Sunday is just a filler.

      • well that’s very possible too. But Sunday is still gonna be usable with the future summoners + I wanna play Jingyuan RIGHT NOW. My biggest issue with him was LL never acting when it should and Sunday solves that so good enough for me

    But -1spd vs hyper speed
    Currently, with Jing Yuan as the main partner hyper speed doesn’t offer much since he’d only be getting 5 LL stacks per turn
    With a -1spd build you get JY -> Sunday -> JY -> LL which guarantees 7 stacks every turn, 10 when he gets an ult
    Since we don’t know how future summoners work yet I can’t say if 134 or 161spd will be optimal for them, but 134 is easy to build and probably safe
