Bruh, they just completely redesigned her entire kit. Wth…
By the way, her LC is now even more garbage than it was before.
This article lags behind the current changes to her kit. They have already nerfs and remade Kafka:
For example, her Talent, instead of amplifying all DoT damage, now imposes Shock, similar to what her Ult imposes (alas, they do not add up).
Her Technique now states that the Shock imposed on her is similar to what Ult imposes.
Also, her Eidolons and Traces have been changed.
The only good news is that the activation of all DoT damage (both through Skill and Ult) is now in the basic kit, Not in Eidolon.
New video of kafka run. She just casually doing 20k+ damage up to 70k+. DoT team is really fun to build and more easy too. And those are just early units.
Did something happen to Kafkas kit? Seems like it’s been reverted to the old kit before 1.2 beta? But with lower numbers. Such as E2 only with 20% Break Efficiency? And the changed A2 trace being moved back to E1?
its a bug or mistake on honey hunter end. there is a video on youtube from current 1.2 beta where her ult proc all dots.
It’s not a bug on our end, we humbly provide, what exact client version has inside and not a single byte of information is touched by human hand. If only CHS has proper skill description, then in current version listed, only CHS will have proper description.
It’s bugged for English.
And other languages too, except CHS.
Dont know what the fuss is all about. Don’t forget she’s a nihility. Because looks like meta peeps here forgot how to think and are waiting for something so she can do one big pp damage.
Can anyone tell how many xp books it takes to level up her to 70-80?
should be 138 purple books and 3 green books
Hey all, so as of the time of this comment (granted it takes a hot minute for my comment to show up on this website) there is a video on YouTube that is showcasing a bit of Kafka on CN beta. If you are reading this comment, you may wanna stop reading and go look for it on YouTube- I mention this because the user tends to upload leak footage and either privates or deletes it within 24 hours to 48 hours. They did the same thing with Blade a day or so ago.
Now with that out the way… I’m happy to report that the previous A2 and Eidolon changes from before have remained in tact! I know people were saying that the changes on here were wrong, but for me seeing is believing. Unfortunately that was the biggest thing I got from that video because the video showcased Kafka in a “Hypercarry Team” setup which isn’t the most ideal TC’d team, not to mention the build of the Kafka was a little sus considering they had a Hypercarry team. For example they were running a ER Rope on Kafka (which you don’t need if you are running Tingyun like they were) and EHR Body piece which is overkill at A6… A6 gives 120% BASE chance for DoT increase and 130% BASE chance for Ultimate Shock DoT to be applied, which means you really only need about 30-ish% EHR which you can get from substats (in fact, the uploader already had met the requirement from substats alone) the substats from the body piece was the only thing useful at that point.
I mention all that because the uploader at the end of the video says that they tried other teams like with Sampo and that the current video shows the best they can do… Just take what they say with the smallest grain of salt if their Kafka build is *anything* to go by… I’m not go out and say Kafka will outperform anyone but I absoutely believe she is capable of more than the leaked video provided. Plus the video doesn’t mention Luka who may not been available during their test. All I’m saying is, I really can’t see how Kafka, Sampo and third DoT (Luka) with Healer/Shielder tank isn’t going to top what was showcased in that video.
Yeah, its obvious that they didnt revert her
The numbers on the A2 are all messed up and if you change the language to cn, you can still see the buffed A2 and E1
But people for some reason just dont think for a second “maybe if the a2 has a 0% scaling, its a bug”
Yeah, no I get you. I remember you posted under my other comment that the changes most likely haven’t changed and that left me hopeful (personally). Granted in that post I remember saying the A2 0% looked like a bug or human error so I totally understand that those changes might not be real but as I mentioned before those could be human error and (in my mind) those changes could always take effect. In that same post I mention *nothing* is set in stone until we get the official announcement and that still applies now.
That is all to say I think it’s fine to have some level of skepticism.
the same guy uploaded new video with dot team (kafka, sampo, sw and bailu), and he said that dot team performs better than hypercarry. there was a bug with kafka and because of that dot team was worse soooo. also he changed her build a little bit from ehr to atk. you cant find the video on youtube right now, but its still on hsr leaks reddit.
Those videos are horrendous. Thanks god people finally catch up on how absolutely shit the op was at the game.
Like holy fuck anything that could go wrong went fucking wrong at this point.
ER rope kafka. Lightning ball sampo. Max physicals ERR Luka. Borderline Autoplay skill point management. 0 care of how to break. My fucking god. It is almost as if he intentionally want to troll people which I hope so since there is no way OP can survive day to day basis with this level of abysmal IQ.
I don’t want to use Sampo and Luka, but it looks like she unplayable without them, as far as I understand. 6(
Does anyone have at least approximate damage calculations how much will her damage drop without these two in the team?
You could try a crit and break builds for Serval and Kafka, add SW, and a healer/shielder.
From there you could start transitioning to other DoT teams when new DoT units come.
that’s exactly the team that i have planned with seele, kafka, bronya y gepard
F skill points
Totally unbalanced and absolutely pointless.
Does it really matter? Judging by your name it seems you’ll pull for her regardless, yeah? Will it be ideal to run her against DoT comps, no. Can she still perform as a sub DPS, most likely yes. Look at it this way, if people (such as myself) are using Sampo as a main/sub dps in a non optimal team comp (until Kafka arrives) and perform with him Kafka will do well enough, just don’t be shocked (heh) that she isn’t pumping big PP damage is all.
There is a video on YouTube that showcases her in a hypercarry team. Please be aware however (as the video may be taken off by the time you read this) their build on Kafka for that particular team isn’t exactly optimized but her DoTs by herself was doing 20k damage.
Seen some tests, which say that the best team for her for now is SW, Fox and Bailu.
That team was performing better due to a bug where Kafka wasn’t detonating dots other than Shock, but after the bug was resolved dot teams outperform that team
Replying to second what was just said from Pepega. DoT team will outperform but you can still run her in a more “traditional” team if you want, it’s definitely playable.
Let’s put aside doomposts. Do you think it would be the best 4* choice on Kafka – Good Night and Sleep Well?
On A5, it gives a 58-72% increase in damage:
– Kafka imposes at least one weakening from Talent.
– If she plays with Sampo (and DoT-Kafka is not playable without Sampo) then this is at least 58% of the total damage, which is better than Fermata or EotP.
Alternatively, mono Electro with SW and Serval/Tingyun, then SW alone will be able to support GNoSW, giving Kafka 72% of all damage, both normal and DoT.
If you’re running Sampo and Luka, Good Night and Sleep Well is almost as good as Patience is All You Need, and if you have Good Night and Sleep Well at max rank, it will do more damage than Patience is All You Need
Patience is All You Need would still be better because 14% speed is really good, but if you want pure damage, Good Night and Sleep Well is the best you can do
She is playable and can deal even higher DMG without Sampo/Serval/etc, judging by test revievs.
The same thing happened in genshin they nerfed Ayaka to hell because she was too popular and other character stans got mad. Don’t trust Mihoyo they will nerf and disappoint.
What? She ended up having one of the most buff, her burst is so fast at beta so they slow it so you can control it better on freeze, she also gets multiple scaling get increased and having a very good weapon + goated C2 and C4 even the first limited character that have skin, same goes to Raiden that also got a multiple buff by being a popular character and ended up having one of the best C2 in the game like Nahida.
The one who get nerfed to hell is Xiao plunging attack speed, Al-Haitham multiplier before they tried to increase it a little bit or Yelan Hydro GU at her burst that get reduced.
The guy doesn’t know what he is talking about.
And Ayaka even got Mist, one of best weapons out there.
I don’t know for Xiao because I started Genshin in 1.4.
For Yelan, it was just a test during the beta, they added it then removed it, noone knows if it was for Yelan or a test for future chars, since Nahida does have 1.5 GU on her skill. It was just a test, not a nerf.
For AlHaitham, they started with too high scalings. They corrected and AlHaitham is still a T0 DPS. And TCs said that even if the number reduction was huge, the team DPS loss was around 9-12% IIRC so not that huge. For me, it’s not really a nerf but a pre-realease ajustment, it didn’t ruin the char, he is still really strong.
Nilou too lost some damage during the beta and it wasn’t a nerf but an ajustment too. Nilou lost damage on burst for more damage for SuperBlooms. It sad because she is less efficient in other team than her archetype but she is T0 in it.
Ajustements aren’t always nerf. Real nerf I have in mind is Dehya. She was weak, she became weaker for no reason since her tanking capacities are still average at best.
Btw, Former Ayaka Mains is a well known troll here, don’t bother to reply to him =)
