I wonder how Sparkle is with her
Feixiao is too fast for a “slow” build but 161 spd on both her and Sparkle is achievable which gives her 1.5x the turns and 1.5x the FuAs (which may make up for Sparkle not personally contributing hits) with a nice amount of CDmg and DMG%
I don’t think it’ll be optimal at all but I’d like to see what it’s like out of curiosity
Welp according to a spreadsheet (I cannot speak for how reliable it is)
Feixiao/Robin/Aventurine/March 8th: 100%
Feixiao/Sparkle/Aventurine/March 8th: 76%
The 2nd team may be what I run while waiting for Robin’s rerun
What would your other team be?
That depends on the content
Jing Yuan or Himeko/Herta are my go to PF teams. one on each side almost always works
Firefly, Jing Yuan, DoT, and very occasionally Blade or Jingliu for MoC
And rn Firefly’s break team is my only good AS team, the other side was a makeshift Ratio team so that’s what I really need Feixiao for
Would 4pc Grand Duke work for her?
If not what set do you recommend
Also if anyone can check this, Does Ratio’s Lightcone work on her?
Grand Duke resets when an FuA is used right? that would mean she only gets full stacks for the last 3rd of a full ult and almost never has stacks outside of ult
Ratio’s light cone should work well though
how much speed do I need on her?
Should I pull for Lingsha or save for Aventurine rerun? I already have Luocha, Gallagher, Lynx, Fu Xuan, and Gepard. They both seem to have consistent follow-ups, I’m wondering who is better for my Feixiao, Topaz, Robin team. I’m having issues with survivability in MoC and AS so that is a factor too. Which should I save for with both synergy and survivability taken into account?
Everything kit related aside (I’ll wait till V2 or V3 to make judgements)
Her technique is funny af
Ikr, i wanna do it to the trotters in adventure domain.
There’s a video of it with trotters too
Tests started to go public.
Despite these big numbers in her kit, her damage is not completely crazy and it takes some time to charge the ult. E2 completely removes the current struggle of stacking the ult, but you do require to spent big resources for that.
She actually needs to receive buffs instead of nerfs if she want’s to compete with Acheron, Boothill and Firefly.
Just a reminder that V1 Jingliu was one of the worst 5*s in the game, and she became the ruling DPS for quite a while
Yeah and Jiaoqiu V1 was the best version we had of him.
Everything can happen.
I preferred pre beta jioaqiu
But fair point
Just a reminder that Jiaoqiu was one of the ruling debuffers until V5, and he became one of the worst 5* in the game.
Better judge a character based on his present stats rather than making random assumptions.
As a summary Feixiao is not in a good state right now. She has high ceiling but also very low floor.
Why she is low floor :
– is hunt unit, which brings low value compared to other paths, in the current game state.
– at E0S0, needs 24 teammates attacks to activate 12 stacks Ult (or 12 attacks for 6 stack Ult). This will definitely not allow her to Ult often.
– F2P LCs are not very valuable VS her signature
– her best team is a 5* premium team (aventurine, topaz, Robin), which is extremely expensive, otherwise the f2p options are moze and hunt March, which perform much worse than the premium team.
Why she is high ceiling :
– her E2 doubles her Ult frequency, which is a massive spike in her damage output
– her LC is arguably one of the best stats wise.
– her premium team allows her to cumulated even more stacks.
Overall, at high ceiling she could easily be the best DPS in the game (with the default of being hunt, but I am sure there will be a new game mode tailored for hunt units), at low floor, she is definitely worse than acheron / firefly, and most probably at DHIL / jingliu level.
It’s a skip to me. A unit requiring 6 limited 5* characters, and one limited 5* LC to perform well is a no go. Unless you’re a whale, there is no incentive to pull her.
Let’s wait for next version changes.
Not really. V1 JL is still stronger than Blade. Just weaker than DHIL.
If I will change her I would.
Remove turn advance from skill and change it to refresh FUAs from talent (no longer 1 every turn).
Decrease FuA dmg but increase FuA limit to 4. Also, each time she hits a FuA, advance her turn by 5% or a total of 20% if all 4 FuA are used. Again, skill now refreshes her FuAs and not every turn.
Boltsunder and Waraxe are also dumb, there isn’t even a substantial difference.
They could’ve just merged the base and bonus scaling into one and gave each a different bonus. Like give one bonus 100% break efficiency (remove the 100% bonus in general), and give the other crits or something. Or anything that makes you actually think which one to use.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVhm2b0zsRg check this. She does not need to buff. let’s hope they don’t nerf her.
That’s a 0 cycle showcase, the Notaleaks Hoolay fights are more indicative of her real power imo but I’m yet to see a very f2p friendly one
However Hoolay is an extremely strong boss so the cycles may be higher than expected
Woah 1m damage single target. I knew she could do it.
e2 or lc?
if you already have dr ratios signature probably e2, even without it id personally still try to go for e2 since it improves her rotation so much
Feixiao definitely going to be reworked. The light cone’s 54% def pen and the E2’s double stack speed look like a quick draft and I can’t believe it is going to be final.
You think they will rework her? They can change a couple numbers and something like that, maybe make ultimate more frequent and less powerful. But nothing will really change. They won’t change a character’s concept or animations just to please us. Yes, her kit is strange, clunky, unfair for people without full team, her BiS is far too strong and I would be glad to see like decreasing amount of stacks needed or implementing E2 into kit somehow. And of course they would never add AoE into hunt kit.
If nobody tries to balance the game and every single new character is stronger than previous analog just for fun, of course the game will become a powercreep trash can where f2p can’t play endgame at all. Where you can’t even play character normally and just use his kit without his full BiS team and weapon. We had an example of HI3, ToF and a billion of nameless mobile gachas. And believe me, Feixiao is just the beginning.
Characters have received reworks in the past which made them much better, no animation changes needed
Jingliu gained 50% crit rate during her special state
Huohuo had her 6x cleanse E2 integrated to her base kit
Acheron had her stack overcapacity integrated into base kit
Ratio I’m a little less sure on but i think they decreased how many debuffs he needs to reach max potential
Firefly had super break added to her base kit
How better is she compared to Dr. Ratio?
Dr. Ratio can go up to 150% on skill plus 270% FuA or 420% dmg scaling per skill.
250% ult with up to 540% every time an allies attacks or a total of 790% scaling per ult
Has 2.5 to 15% crit rate, 5% to 30% crit dmg, and 10%-50% dmg bonus
Almost the same stat traces but Ratio gets def
776 base atk, 103 base spd
Feixiao can do 250% per skill
has 200% FuA once per turn
840% on 6 stack ult or 1680% on 12 stacks.
60% crit dmg on FuA
Almost same stat traces but Feixiao gets spd
601 base atk, 125 base spd
It doesn’t seem that far off at E0
Feixao doesn’t require prep time with debuffs tho. That’s kinda fixed with Aventurine tho, Ultimate, E2 and LC are wonderful for that
but she takes way longer to load her ultimate so…
Do you know what I find the worst with this character?
That I finally find an interesting FUA focused character and the character is litteraly one of my favorite when it comes to design already but I skipped Topaz because I didn’t like her and didn’t want to invest in FUA…
Do you have Aventurine?, if yes then try to get him at E2 or S1 with Ratio and you will have a much more comfy way to obtain FUAs
Moze is the 4-star equivalent of topaz, so I wouldnt worry too much, plus we are getting a new march 7th with her eidelons. There’s also Lingsha, who’s another followup user that works with her coming right after her banner finishes.
Use Hunt March 7th instead
