BAD NEWS: HSR has reached a new low as seen from the Play Store ratings in several countries, varying with a score of 3 stars or below. Mostly complaint about POWERCREEP & NO SKIP BUTTON
GOOD NEWS: Hoyoverse has tried to improve the situation mainly by working with the Play Store and removing one star reviews and it’s planned that starting from version 3.4, you will be able to skip certain stories.
It was only leaked/datamined that you can skip certain stories, not an official announcement.

Most people lack basic logic.
You must have low cognitive flexibility to write that. The game is literally marketed on play store as a “strategy game”, not a “story driven game”. Some people sure come for the story, others come for the turn based combat system.
And even if you like story based games, considering the astronomical amount of useless yapping in this game to stretch the play time to a maximum, there are various reasons to be repulsed by HSR. I personally like the story, but I skip 50% of the dialogs as most of them don’t bring anything to the story and are 100% badly written and not relevant.
it would help if 90% of the quest dialogue wasnt insanely boring then. The only thing I wouldn’t skip through is the main quests (the story that actually matters) but why would I care about side quest dialogue?
Whether hsr is story driven or not matters flat zero when talking about a skip button. You wanna know the great part about a skip button? If you want the story…you dont have to use it!!! There is quite literally 0 downside to giving players a skip button and allowing players to decide that for themselves. and considering a skip button LITERALLY ALREADY EXISTS in very few parts of the game…it would take no time at all to make it accessible for all parts of the game.

this is still a part of the game, and it’s intended to be experienced by players in the same way combat is, letting players skip the story will make their longterm experience worse, even if “in the moment” skipping feels like a right thing to do to them.
the real solution would be to:
1) detach story from locations/events/domains/MC eidolons(they already did it to an extent, but that’s not enough, and oftentimes events have their own story – just separate it and let players go through it separately from the limited time stuff)
2) make dialogues not cringe long with intentionally convoluted language and/or give us proper fastforward that’s not “you have to wait for character to finish 50% of their line before you can go next”
3) maybe actually give us proper ingame dialogue scenes that are somewhat engaging to watch+listen, not just characters standing or doing their preset animations.
i think people that complain about skip button probably not first time play and have like alt account

aaaaand yep exist other damage – we have Pure Damage – we have Superbreak damage – DoT too you right – Ults and Bonus-atacks have their own types of damage that can be upgraded by some buffs too – in Virt exist Balanar + Aftertaste – I think her buffs just dont stack with it like Cipher already dont stuck with Pure Damage

“what she can do with this one turn?” – barely anything, her strength is in getting 200+ spd(300+ for her memosprite) with her talent stacks and spamming attacks like crazy. that’s also why giving her 30% spd won’t mean much – she already gets a lot of that, and would instead prefer a proper damage buff with high uptime
lets think – she get +30% speed from Cery + she get +30% speed from Bronya + she get all atack damage and other possible buffs from Bronya and Cery ult’s – and with all that she under her own ultimate do 1 action – can you imagin how much damage she can deal with all of this?

she dont need buffs – she exist only for 1 – after Archer release if become 2 – characters to support – and with them she work just great
and dont forget – she get new form with buffs at 4.0 when new world story begin
Sparkle doesn’t lack in power, Sparkle lacks in friends. She’s got a small niche in Mono quantum, and pretty much has better buffs than Bronya/Sunday, but everyone prefers the 100% advance forward vs 50%, and only DHIL/Archer can really make use of the extra SP.

I myself check this already – Bronya can give you more buffs if you just give her only crit damage equipment and at same time she can deal normal damage – Sunday buff crit chance greatly + buff crit damage nearly X2 with just good equipment AAAAAAAAAND he advance BOTH Ally and his Summon soo basically Sunday is like a Sparkle support who work best NOT with any team BUT we have at least 5 Summoners and soon we can get even more of them – when Sparkle have only 1 character who REALLY need exactly her
and yeah – they both give 100% advance

Gonna be real chief, I’m having a hard time understanding what you’re saying here. I think you’re talking about their SP economy and I’ll just say – totally nice and predictable for Sunday to effectively not use any, but Sparkle generates more than she uses, and there are times where it’s nice to pop ult and be flush with SP.

The numbers given were with equal gear for them (220%CD), and it’s ignoring relics and LCs since they all run identical gear. I don’t know what energy regen has to do with Crit dmg,.

Been playing since day 1 and I’ve pulled Bronya once and 0 of her LC. She also still does negligible damage, even borrowing a friend’s E4 Bronya.

Sooo are we just using v1/2 planar sets for Saber and Archer? I don’t see much sync in the latter ones except for Sigonia and Duran, but past that I’m thinking bis is a competition between vonwacq, salsotto, and rutilant.
The set also works when there are more than 4 allies, which can happen with memosprites. I checked and found nothing in Acheron’s and Feixiao’s kits that says teammates depart during their ults, despite looking like it (the teammates’ icons disappear). I guess you can check if it works by selecting ally-number dependent effects in Protean Hero.
P.S.: Moze departs himself and can contribute one stack.
