People who felt forced to pull Acheron’s LC are gonna be so pissed when they find out about this. 40 free crit value at S1 alone (80 at S5! 💀)… and crit is the stat Acheron wants the most since she is swimming in DMG%. It felt so weird that they released her with so few LC options, so I can’t say I’m surprised. Hopefully it’s an event or shop LC, I think it would be stupid if it wasn’t.
yes but acherons lightcone still provides an extra stack on her turn that value wont be so easily replaced when an extra stack could make an entire differnce of a moc run

I pulled Acheron’s Sig because of the extra Stack. This new LC is nice, but it’s not looking better than Gnasw, to be honest (No math involved, i’m lazy).
I think it will be better than GNSW for sure. At S5 it’s basically 80CV% vs 72DMG%. On Acheron crit should be better since she has a lot of DMG% already… and there’s more of it.

Yea hopefully it is not, even tho I already got her signature. But would still love to have options for challenge run 😀 . That says I accidentally got her E2 by luck so I would be overcap the crit rate with this new one ( Final stats is at 105/280 with team + set buff atm )
Getting some silly replies from people who didn’t read what I said properly and don’t know what they’re talking about either. I never said it was better than her signature… that’s obviously not true. I am saying that IF it is an event or shop cone then pulling her signature is really unnecessary and overkill IMO (tbh it already was overkill). The entire point is that her LC options as of right now are a bit limited and so people felt forced to pull her signature, but if this LC is easily S5’d then that “issue” is gone. If it’s gacha then that’s a different case, but even then at S1 this cone is looking very strong and gives Acheron additional options aside from her signature. I am not making fun of people who pulled her cone or saying her cone is worse, so stop getting offended please.
you know whats crazy? Cuz of Acherons release future 4* lcs and even a few 5* wont have ANY debuff mechanics built into them so that the premium feel her lc gives isnt lost. We got pearls and future market. Now imagine if they release yet another healer or nihility lc that does the same thing. Her lc value goes down, cuz everyone can just give her stacks now. BUT you might say “Well add that plus 1 from her lc” and yes you would be right, but is there anything in this game that can withstand (for example) 3 acheron ults? Im pretty sure there isnt, if the enemy has 500K hp and it dies in 2 ult rotations whats the point in being able to get a 3rd?
Thats my biggest concern, that and future characters. Pulling on a lc is never a good idea, unless you really love the character or its effects/stats are just bonkers, sure ur character will do 15% to 30% more dmg, but if the enemy dies before its value starts ramping up is there even a point?
Or they’ll just make things as they used to and then create another broken expy character that will outsell god himself.

It’s good alternative to the signature LC damage wise(at S5), but playing comfort and style? Completely halved.
Signature LC gives you one additional charge, the ease and comfort is simply not even close. Besides, it probably takes way more pulls to get this to S5 than just getting S1 signature.
What sane person is pulling for 4* Lightcone superimpositions? As I am sure you would agree you should only ever pull on a LC banner if you want the signature. It’s more like “use it if you have it” for gacha cones and if you get superimpositions naturally or on LC banners then that’s just a bonus. This cone is very good even at S1, so even pulling one copy is good enough as an Acheron cone. At S5 it’s frankly quite OP for Acheron as a non-signature option, it’s a free 80 crit value with crit being her most desired stat. Will it be better than her signature? Obviously not, because it lacks a debuff application to get her an extra stack. However, it’s going to close the huge existing gap considerably. We also don’t know if it’s a gacha cone, it could be shop or event cone. If it is a shop or event cone that can be instantly S5’d, I personally wouldn’t recommend pulling her signature. I was already thinking of skipping her signature because even GNSW S2 has felt very strong to me.

I wish we could get more concrete confirmation if this is event or gacha, it’s so odd for this to be gacha because why would they not put the 4* light cone for Robin in the same banner as her Sig as a consolation, but then the event cones always tend to be for the current new limited unit so far. But then this thing turns out to be a gacha cone it’s kind of a slap in the face for anyone that doesn’t pull for Acheron’s signature, and if it’s event it’ll be pretty useless to anyone who did pull. IDK this cone should’ve been in Acheron’s banner, this is a patch too late imo.
A friendly reminder that a relic set that only Ruan Mei can (and really wants to) use came out a patch after her. They keep us guessing and re-doing our work on purpose at this point
well tbf it looks like harmony trailblazer may be able to use the 4pc watchmaker set too. im less mad about that because its a relic set, the 2pc is still good for units that need it and together with thief can make farming for break effect supports less pain, and like harmony trailblazer, there may be more units in the future that can use it effectively. this being now definitely confirmed gacha means you have to decide between pulling for acheron’s cone now, hopefully in the process at least getting gnsw to a good level of superimpositions, or either pull on robins lightcone banner to get it asap when it comes out or sit and wait for it to spook you for however long *that* would take. as far as my personal account goes its no issue since i have s3 gnsw which is high enough for me, but it still sucks.
