Character Details | Senior manager of the Strategic Investment Department at the IPC and one of the Ten Stonehearts. His Cornerstone is the "aventurine of stratagems." An ostentatious risk-taker, he often wears a smile that masks his true motives. He won his current position by wagering against fate itself. He views life as a high-stakes, high-return investment, and he plays this particular gamble with masterful ease. |
Character Story: Part I | "I have something to report to you about the new employee." "What makes you so worried, Erwin?" "It's complaints about him, both formal and informal. My mailbox has been flooded with them like countless pieces of paper. I wonder... if it's worth reconsidering his inclusion in the Strategic Investment Department." "What do these complaints say?" "Mostly about his origins. Those eyes of his..." "He once deceived the Marketing Development Department by falsely claiming that there were energy sources hidden in the barren land of Sigonia, not yet effectively developed and utilized. A huge amount of funds was invested into excavating it before we realized it was all a scam." "And then there's the notorious Egyhazo Aventurine Case. He misled the Intelligentsia Guild into believing that the remains of Tayzzyronth the Imperator Insectorum were buried there. Despite the scholars being extremely cautious, they ultimately still fell into the trap." "And let's not forget the letters from the councilors of the Sigonian Sovereignty. They denounce his tribe for once breaking agreements and sowing discord, leading to significant changes in the balance of peace between the tribes, resulting in repeated delays in the signing of agreements between Sigonia and IPC. Allowing such an employee to join at the IPC would be a severe detriment to public relations..." "If these are the extent of the complaints, there's no need to tell me." "...You already know it all?" "Each gemstone holds unique value, and our task is to make investments." "We don't need to appease those stubborn old-timers who sent in complaints, as these rumors will eventually reach... No, they would already have reached his ears. Well, let's take this chance and see how big of a surprise he can bring us." * Unlocked at Character Level |
Character Story: Part II | "You're quite something else, boy... I still can't figure out how you managed to empty out my entire business. But I will never surrender. If push comes to shove, I'll just blow up this whole place... What are you gonna do about it?" The Mad Bull of Iymanika signals his followers to let go. He raises his head from the table, dusting off his collar. "You arrogant dogs from the IPC never respected us wanderers, did you? But now that you're in our territory, you'll play by our rules." Mad Bull empties the cylinder, putting only one bullet in the revolver, and tosses it to the other man's feet. "Six shots. Fate will decide whether we live or die after a maximum of six shots. Do you have the nerve?" The other man bends down and picks up the revolver. "There are too many people who've pointed a gun at me. Some of them even just went ahead and pressed the trigger straight up... Now, guess how come I'm still standing here." The man stands up, stares into the Mad Bull's eyes, raises the gun, and puts it against his own heart. "It's because the gun will always end up in my hand." "And now, this game is making me bored... One in six? That possibly is nowhere near enough. If you want to tempt fate..." Six consecutive gunshots thunder out in the starship that is wrapped in a deathly silence. After the smoke clears, the man raises the gun again and walks toward Mad Bull. The revolver is now loaded with a fresh bullet. "You need to learn how to turn yourself into a die first." "...You won't surrender, but why? Because you have this lousy game of chance? Or..." He points the gun into the darkness. "Because of her?" A woman holding a pistol emerges slowly from the direction the revolver points. The Mad Bull acts as if he found a lifeline when he sees her. "Madam Jade, this is not what we agreed upon..." At that moment, both of them opened fire simultaneously, and two figures dressed in black fall from the shadows behind each of them. "The IPC has enemies everywhere, right?" The woman calmly holsters her pistol, takes out her cosmetic mirror, and inspects her appearance. "You used our lives as bait, making them believe there was internal strife between us, and then you eliminated them all... A clever trick, although a bit reckless." He greets the woman with a smile, although his hands tremble slightly. "Trick? No, it was just a test." The elegant lady opens her palm, revealing a shimmering aventurine of peculiar hues. "There's nothing strange about it. Gemstones are destined to be... desired, sought, cut, and sold." "However, there's so much more you can do. It all depends on how you see yourself." * Unlocked at Character Level |
Character Story: Part III | He walks into the room at the furthest end of the corridor, remembering how he was still a grotesque prisoner the last time he came here. Now, he stands with his back straight and faces those who sit at the very top of the department. He listens to the blond woman as she reads out the lengthy and boring report. Those cold, unfeeling numbers cannot convey the dangers that accompanied him as he walked on the thin line between life and death, nor can they communicate how much he had lost and gained during the journey. He is simply curious whether she is human or an Intellitron. The aventurine, that symbol of power and of the future, is about to be officially handed to him — Yet it would have no more allure or value in his eyes as soon he obtains it, even though he had sought it by putting his life on the line. "Do you have any more questions, Aventurine?" Jade, the only person he knows among the presently gathered, asks at the end of the meeting. "The Avgins in Sigonia... what happened to them afterward?" "Unfortunately, there are no more Avgins in Sigonia. You're the last lucky dog." "What about those people who helped me on planet ██? Now I can finally repay their kindness." "They are no more, either." ... He returns to his office in a daze. The aventurine stone emits a peculiar glow on his desk, seemingly congratulating and mocking him at the same time. "Was luck truly on your side when you wrestled with fate?" * Unlocked at Character Level |
Character Story: Part IV | "Penacony... Is Diamond finally ready to do something about it?" The miniature model on the table continues to rotate, the crystalline memory bubble emitting tiny spheres of foam. "This historic debt is utterly unimaginable. So, the profit involved is also... shockingly high." The person in front of him has their back turned to him, gazing instead at the purplish-red sky of Pier Point at sunset. "But why me?" The person continues to face away from him. Keen though his eyes are, he can not decipher the true intentions behind the decision. "It should have been me, but Diamond believes that The Family still had some value in cooperation and hopes this affair still has some room for a peaceful resolution." "So, after some thought, I've concluded that you're the best candidate." "This is only our second conversation ever. Do you trust me that much?" "No, I've never trusted you. Perhaps Jade does, but I don't." "Maybe luck won't be on your side this time, and the bill for all your past good fortune will come due." Finally, the person in front of him turns around. The distant skyscraper reflects a kaleidoscope of colors like an opal stone, while a music box plays on its own. "But isn't that what you've been longing for?" * Unlocked at Character Level |

Which rope should be best to run on Aventurine? Def or ERR?
def, of course
If you look through the comments at Acheron page, you will see a lot of ignorant statements about her inviability, weakness, especially from certain kind of JY mains who are very concerned. And she turned out strongest DPS in the game. Looking at the comments here you can see people dwelling in serenity. This is how you know that character will be mid and should not be expected too much of.
FUCK OFF
lil bro needs to play the story quest he’s busted even with the mid ass build they gave him 💀🙏
doomposting requires competition, and a sense of fear for wasting your efforts on something that is working worse-than — something further amplified by how picky acheron appears to be in terms of a team lineup, LCs and enemy targeting maybe.
to work at the bare minimum, aventurine can smear himself with DEF and call it a day.
his only proper competitor is operating on different terms, and debuff resistances is about the only thing that he and FX may actively clash upon.
This mf can eat up boss attacks like they’re nothing while still putting out non-negligible damage
If you’ve seen the showcase of him vs the weekly boss,, it took the (literal) hand of god to break Aventurine’s shield
Comparing DPS with Sustainer is kinda dumb lol, just like you
oh god imagine needing to play meta for ANY hoyo game i could literally laugh myself to death. you can play fully f2p and still clear everything like WHEEZE WOW
Imagine being so hateful as to actively seek a page of a character you obviously don’t like and doompost for the sake of doomposting. My guy, go touch grass
Is Aventurine a good sustain for Acheron? I have Gallagher at E4 but I want to put him in Boothill team and I don’t build Ratio. Is Aventurien good for her?
2
Should i pull for adventurine or wait for fu xuan?
fu xuan better, but for FUA team Aventurine is bread and butter
There’s pros and cons to every sustain
Fu Xuan: Overall best survivability and can compensate for bad crit rolls
Luocha: Healing, healing, and more healing, and the ability to strip buffs, very comfy character since he just works on his own
Huohuo: Can easily solo-sustain while also being a pseudo-harmony with energy regen and big atk buffs, imo best sustain for high investment accounts, also has unrivalled cleanse ability
Aventurine: Can easily solo-sustain, protects your team from even the biggest of 1shots, gives a minor buff and outputs pretty solid dmg
Is he somewhat equal to Luocha in terms of sustaining any teams ( not FUA ). I’m thinking to get one of them since i have no limited 5* sustain, and i have a FUA team so i’m considering aven.
He should be able to solo sustain in any team without issue so don’t worry about that
i actually think Aventurine is better than Luocha, because:
1.- he does more damage than Luocha
2.- he buffs you at E0, Luocha doesn’t
and 3.- he’s a shielder, wich means you can’t get one-shotted.
Luocha does heal you a lot, yes. But if one of your characters doesn’t have a lot of DEF and HP, they can get easily one shotted
Luocha himself also has very low defense and is at risk of 1shots
E1 aven or signature lightcone?
I’d recommend S1
s1 for sure
so i havent rlly seen ppl talk abt the effect res nor have i seen actual calcs so ig ill try to do it myself – i hope im doing this correctly
the effect hit formula is base chance * (1 + ehr) * (1 – effect res) * (1 – cc res)
enemies at max level have 36% ehr
so for a character with 50% ehr:
an attack with 120% base chance (i.e. kafka’s spirit whisper) has a 1.2*1.36*0.5 = 81.6% chance to hit
an attack with 100% base chance has a 1.36*0.5 = 68% chance to hit
not the best odds but better than nothing
at 80% effect res (which you can get by meeting broken keel reqs):
120% base chance atk has a 1.2*1.36*0.2 = 32.64% chance to hit
100% base chance atk has a 1.36*0.2 = 27.2% chance to hit
which are really great odds actually – if the cc targets your broken keel char they’re more often than not going to resist it assuming you have aventurine’s fortified wager shield
Jingliu having +35% Res during her Lunatic mode, get a bit more Res roll and she’ll having complete immunity with Aven. it’s amazing but not too important yet for the current era.
mitigated damaged from fuxuan is good but not good as shielder type.
when your hp low let’s say bcz of long fight and insane damage from enemies
no matter how your fuxuan mitigated the damaged your HP when reach 0 you still K.O
while shielder type, they only reduce the health of the shield even with your 1 HP you still
alive if your shield can keep shielding you. this is why i said i prefer aven than fuxuan
im not saying fuxuan is bad tho. just shielder type much “safer” than mitigated damages.
nah, use fuxuan right, ur hp wont even reach lower than enemy attack. she’s just that good. her ult also heal, not much, but enough to sustain almost forever. the only way a team with fu xuan can be wiped out would be fuxuan dead first. but very unlikely since she got her passive
aoe two times = she’s dead
the only way archeron good partner just this guy i think
equip aven with market lc and he is ready fight side by side with archeron
i dont see any preservation good for archeron except this dude.
fu xuan good, but hmm…… idk i think between fuxuan and aven i prefer aven.
fire mcs taunt is considered a debuff and the taunt lets them apply trend really well
true, true.. but it means your mc become sp negative bcz mc keep taunting the enemies and mc shield not that good to protect our allies in case they resist to taunt or their attack is AOE/BLAST type. for short fight, maybe IG but for long fight (MOC or PF) i don’t think this could help.
Maybe not preservation but for a sustain option I think Gallagher can be pretty nice too for her. His ult applies a debuff for healing.
Guys are the cd damage from the ult and the damage taken debuff in the lc final multiplicative buffs? I have always wondered why they were like such small buffs/debuffs
Yeah they are apparently. Also the buffs are small because remember they are preservation, not harmony. Even having a buff is great already.
On top of that, Aventurine is the first sustainer who can deal some substantial damage when paired right (right being with teamwide harmonies/nihility and FuAs, in which I’ve read calculations where he dealt more than 20% of the team’s damage, against the 0% that a sustain should deal by definition) without sacrificing much of his sustainability to do so. Another element that should be pointed out more is that, as a shielder, he also shines with oneshot prevention, which isn’t always the case, especially with the current MoC 12 with Yanqing and his sword on one side, who can just focus on one character and one tap them, and Sam on the other, who can’t be dealt with with healers since he gives that 90% decreased healing.
And I love him for it. I am waiting for them to release another teamwide harmony to slot in and I’ll basically have a triple DPS team sorta xD
Leaks seem to indicate that Robin will be ideal for FuA teams but I find it hard to believe it.
Given that they keep releasing FuA characters as they currently are, they need to satisfy a bunch of requirements that Robin really doesn’t seem to share:
1- Be a Stoneheart. I’m not sure if it’s already safe to assume or not, but we’ve got 2 released Stonehearts both focused on FuAs and Jade’s leaks also seem to be indicative of a FuA character;
2- Be an hybrid. Both Topaz and Aventurine aren’t neither the best DPS nor the best sustainer, yet they offer a lot of value to other teammates promoting a more complex team building and little to no hypercarry potential. Jade too seems to be half buffer half FuA, but it’s just ancient leaks;
3- Have a follow-up attack. May sound silly but all Stonehearts so far benefit from allies having follow-up attacks, even Ratio with his chain FuA with Topaz;
Of course the first point will inevitably stop making sense, but I strongly believe that there is no way Robin can be the best teammate for this comp, they can’t just make a powercrept Ruan Mei for no reason whatsoever, and if they make her buffs ATK based (as leaks seemed to suggest) than she’s going to be useless for Aventurine putting her in a beyond awkward spot.
Robin is indeed optimal for an FuA team
She is neither a stoneheart nor has an FuA but she is a hybrid
