1,364 responses to “Acheron”
resolution shines acheron + sw + gui + gep/aventurine (assuming that ult is debuff like proof of debt)
omega energy stonks its acheron’s sig lc at home – def not her best team but GOSH is it funny
its ok we all know we’re gonna get double crit on an ehr chestpiece on watchmaker or 17% ehr substat on a double crit piece
So I did find this on E0S0 Kafka +E0S0 Blackswan + Acheron + Loucha Showcase:
Kafka’s Follow up can add +1 stacks
Kafka’s skill that triggers dot add +1 stacks
kafka’s Ultimate gives +1 Stack
Kafka’s follow-up “refreshes” it’s dot application can still give + stacks.
Any sustain’s turn even without them giving any debuff can give stacks as long as kafka do follow ups
solitary break effect acheron real???? lol
Would Prisoner in Deep Confinement or Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters be the better set for Acheron? Even if Crimson Knot doesn’t count as a debuff, would Pioneer still be the best option just based on the other effects? Or is Prisoner better unless you have her Sig LC?
prisoner, maybe, but you would need like at least 2 other dot characters to help, also one of them needs to be running kakfa’s sig lc or your sustain be a preservation unit on universal trend lc in order for Acheron to take full advantage of the prisoner set. While diver set on the other hand is much easier to use, she can take full effect during her ult since she applies resistance shred but if you want, you can get her lc and have the full effect all up at all time.
wont archeon be really f2p friendly because she use gui and pela really well and gallahar will probably be solid choice on her too because he applies debuff on enemys too
and on another note gui is the best for archeon right? bc she can trigger her debuff in 3 different actions (basic\skill, on ult she applies a stack of firekiss, on enemy turn she applies another firekiss)
firekiss doesn’t generate stacks for acheron
She’ll be good at E0S0 but E2S1 is a massive increase and make her far easier to use
I’d say she kinda in the middle, not the most F2P friendly, but not the worst
oh wait Gui is indeed really good on her, regarding to the f2p topic she is fine at E0 but you kinda limited regarding to team comp for sure. Her E2 makes her very easy to use
in case you didn’t know, firekiss doesn’t count as debuff, only her burn does.
Well… I just want her. She looks pretty interesting and her numbers are good RN. But I think her stat requirements are insane, because you’re had to run Acheron/nihility/nihility/utility unless you’re a whale. So…
1. As I see, her best set is Pioneer. Her damage source is ult, and she applies debuff on it.
2. Her best planar set is Izumo, but Salsotto is not much worse so I think better to pre-farm it.
3. Well, I’m not sure, but I think it’s better to use atk boots on her. Let me explain.
Acheron is lacking of stats. And her main source of energy is her allies. Her skill gives her only one stack (Am I right?) and you don’t have to use it so often. So with some other conditions low-speed Acheron could ult every or almost every turn.
4. Her LC. I’m a f2p, I’m not sure I’ll get her BiS. So I’ll use Good night for my theorycraft, I hope it’s not too huge damage loss.
5. Her utility support. The best option is a shielder preservation unit because of the ability of using Galaxy Market. I won’t pull aventurine (I simply won’t be able to), put luckly I have E1 Gepard. His freese with EHR substats is stable, so I hope it’s not too bad. Anyways, my other utility supports are natasha, bailu(E4, help…), lynx, fire MC and huohuo. If you think one of these options may be better, please tell me about it.
6. Team.
Here I have a question. I have every nihility unit in the game despite Welt.
Which comp is better?
Pela+SW
BS+SW
Kafka(no bis)+BS
(and other combinations)
I don’t have event legendary light cones at all.
I’m going to build a ton of speed for everybody (despite Acheron) to try to maintain her Ult every (or almost every) turn. Also how about Messenger on Gepard? Less durable shield in return of reasonable speed buff sound not too bad, right?
I would be glad to see your ideas, if you want to help me.
how does gallahar compare to the other supports with archeon? he is one of the few supports who applies debuffs
Well if you have S1 Aventurine he’ll simply be better, but Gallagher is a solid pick
other sustains do nothing special for her
Gallaghar is pretty trash at sustaining a party. He literally cannot do it by himself. His synergy with acheron is meaningless b/c any party he tries to heal will die 100%
His healing is fine he just lacks cleanse
Ive seen people gassing up E2 and honestly im baffled?
Even with the option of a harmony you arent taking them unless they are advance forward support like Sparkle and Bronya to take advantage of the Dream gain on her turn. Even then, those harmonies are counter-productive at actually generating more dream stacks than that.
So lets say, we dont run a Harmony. Instead, its the same Acheron + Double Debuffer shell that even E0 can use.
The damage will be even more insane since she can generate dream stacks much faster on top of the beginning of turn + Crimson Knot stacking. But the thing is, in that case, its just a chunky dmg boost. The way you play or build her doesnt change, now you just clear MoC in 2 Cycles instead of 3/4.
Things will change ofc if we get a Harmony that inflicts debuffs repeatedly, but for now, i think people are overhyping it because they either dont understand how busted her kit is at base or just unable to evaluate character kits.
Reminds me of Alhaitham/Neuv doomposting and then they come out busted anyway. Even more so than those two because her optimal team comps doesnt change.
She’s undoubtedly gonna be one of the strongest dps units and will get stronger with each new unit that can apply debuffs. I guess people get annoyed when eidolons and 5star lightcones drastically improve a character’s gameplay, it feels like as F2P we’re missing out.
It’s not that people get mad that eidolons improve a 5 star character, it’s that they created them to be restrictive and fix it the more copy you get; created a problem and sell the solution situation. Mostly, as she doesn’t have great teammates to compliment her needs on the get go. Sure, they could release future characters that would really work well for them (Aventurine with Dr. Ratio & Topaz) but how long would that take?
The most egregious example of this trend is Wriothesley because his kit just doesn’t work the way it should until C1
Creating a kit then making important elements of it eidolons is a surefire way to make money from the people who like characters (and as a C2 Wriothesley owner who was planning to get him as high con as I could anyway… it worked)
Ruan Mei ultimate makes the whole team (including herself) apply a debuff (“thanatopian rebloom”) on every attack, so she’s still great for charging acheron ults.
outside of her, though, yeah not many will help charge her ult and I question the value of that tradeoff.
Is busted mean good?
Busted mean balance-breakingly good.
Does her LC apply an additional debuff? So if she were to use her skill with her LC, would it count as one debuff stack or two? Saw a recent gameplay vid where she applied 2 with one use of her skill and she was E0S1
With her sig lc she applies 2 stacks, yes.
Yes, Acheron with Along the Passing Shore LC (her signature) will get 2 stacks for her talent with one use of a skill,
one from the skill itself, and another one from a debuff application from the LC.
do you think LC SIGN Welt work for Archeron? i read the effect almost same like her SIGN, just without 24% Increase Ultimate
The main advantage for Acheron from having her signature light cone lies not in the DMG bonuses
(and so rare for Nahility light cones, Crit Damge),
but in the ability to apply debuff, so she can stack Slashed Dream faster and use her ultimate more frequently.
Because of that, light cones such as:
Patience Is All You Need,
Incessant Rain,
Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat
will have a higher value for her and her teams.
How does Acheron BlackSwan SilverWolf sound for a team?
As of 23th Feb 2024:
1. Known occasions that work for Archeron:
– Black Swan’s normal, skill, and ult.
– Black Swan’s technique.
– Black Swan’s E6. (No more than one Crimson Knot per attack.)
– Ruan Mei’s ult. (Attacking an enemy that already has RM’s flower does NOT reaplly it.)
– Talents that add an debuff when the character attacks, such as Silver Wolf’s talent and Sampo’s talent.
– Light cones that add an debuff when the wearer attacks, such as RSAPS, Kafka’s sig lc, and SW’s sig lc. (Some specifically implied that the debuff cannot be reapplied if the enemy already has it. However there are saying that it was a wierd wording that only means no more than once instance per enemy and the debuff itself can be reapplied. I’m not sure if that’s true. I will test with RSAPS when I have time and leave a comment here when I know something new.)
– Light cones that add an debuff when the wearer gets attacked, namely “Trend of the Universal”.
– Enemies that explode and apply debuff to other enemies when killed.
– Enemies that add debuff to itself in some occasions.
– Techniques that start the fight and immediately attack the enemy and apply a debuff by either the technique’s effect, the character’s talent, or the character’s lc.
2. Known occasions that do NOT work for Archeron:
– Black Swan’s major trace causing an enemy to enter combat with a stack of Arcana.
– Black Swan’s E2.
– Black Swan’s Arcana stack increasing as an enemy takes damage from DoT at the begining of its turn.
– Black Swan’s Arcana stack increasing as an enemy takes Arcana’s splash damage at the beginging of another enemy’s turn.
– Black Swan’s Arcana stack increasing as an enemy takes damage from DoT during an ally’s attack.
– Guinaifen’s talent causing the enemy to gain vulnerability as it takes damage from burn.
– Silver Wolf’s E2 causing the enemy to enter combat with a debuff that says “-20% effect res”.
3. Occasions that I’m not sure:
– Techniques that apply a debuff to the enemy but do not start the fight after casting it, aside from BS’s.
4. Reapplying a debuff stacks for Archeron?
Yes.
5. “Crimson Knot” counts as a debuff?
No.
Fire MC taunt with Trend = stonks for Acheron.
One obvious thing is missing. When any character break enemy toughness, it can also impose an effect that is considered a debuff and gives one more stack. This rule also works with the Acheron technique, giving an additional stack when the enemies toughness is pierced, but of course it will work only against simple enemy with low toughness and electro-weakness.
6. What happens when Archeron casts her ult on Automaton Beetle with its shields up?
Does the same as when Argenti casts his 180 energy ult on it: just breaks the shield and nothing else.
Test subject: Pela (RSASP)
Experiment 1:
1. Cast Pela’s ult at an enemy’s turn.
2. After the turn ends, the enemy still has the light cone’s debuff.
Experiment 2:
1. Normal attack on an enemy to apply the light cone’s debuff on it.
2. Cast Pela’s ult at the said enemy’s turn.
3. As the enemy’s turn ends, the light cone’s debuff has been worn off and it wasn’t reapplied.
Test subject: Kafka (E0S1, with no relics, because otherwise she instantly kills the enemy)
Experiment 3:
1. Cast Kafka’s ult at an enemy’s turn.
2. After the turn ends, the enemy still has erode.
Experiment 4:
1. Normal attack on an enemy to apply erode on it.
2. Cast Kafka’s ult at the said enemy’s turn. If we look at the enemy’s status page before we actually cast the ult, we see that erode has just vanished. Seems erode wears off at the begining of the turn, not at the end of the turn.
3. As the enemy’s turn ends, erode is still present because it hasn’t wear off.
Conclusion:
Kafka’s sig lc and RSASP’s debuff canNOT be reapplied just as the text specifies. However, erode expires at the begining of a turn while RSASP’s debuff expires at the end of a turn, which made them different.
There are two types of buff expiration.
Type A: Its remaining turns substract at the begining of a turn.
Examples: Erode from Kafka’s sig lc.
Type B: Its remaining turns substract at the end of a turn.
Examples: Bronya’s ult. and TY’s ult.
Type C: Its remaining turns substract at the end of a turn if the buff wasn’t applied during that turn.
Examples; Most buffs.
– Light cones that add an debuff when the wearer gets attacked, namely “Trend of the Universal”.
Related to this one, I have a specific question/request: does March 7th with Inherently Unjust Destiny (Adventurine’s LC) works for Acheron every time March do a follow up?
Inherently Unjust Destiny LC: “… when the wearer uses a follow-up attack, there is a 100% base chance to increase the DMG taken by the attacked enemy by 8%, lasting for 2 turn(s).”
I have a fully build March and I want to cook her with Acheron.
This belongs to the case of “Light cones that add an debuff when the wearer attacks”.
So March can add up to 3 stacks for Acheron on the enemies’ turn. That’s great!
But what about reapplying debuffs from LC? Would it adds a stack for Acheron (since it doesn’t for PAYN and RSASP)?
FYI, Trend and Adventurine’s LC debuff last for 2 turns and both don’t have the wording “debuff cannot be reapplied if the enemy already has it”
Wow, thank you !
I have a question regarding E6 Black Swan.
“No more than one Crimson Knot per attack” means that even if the attack is an AOE and put debuff on every enemy you’ll only get 1 Crimson Knot or that if an attack put a debuff on an enemy then procs Black Swan E6, you’ll only get 1 Crimson Knot from the initial attack and none from Black Swan E6 ?
Yes. If the attack that triggered BS E6 puts Crimson Knot on itself, BS E6 does not grant additional Crimson Knot.
Thank you ! =)
Her name looked like “Archeon” in my first glace before I noticed there is an “r” between “e” and “o”. After that I have always remembered her name as “Archeron” until just now I noticed there isn’t an “r” after the initial “A”. lol
