so im guessing in her A4 acheron her self isnt counted as a nihility character count where it says “When there are 1/2 other character(s) following the Path of Nihility in the team” so either the (SW+Pela/Gui or Gui + Pela) + sustain is your to go setup?
but i feel acheron + bronya + debuffer + sustain is another way to go too
either way i guess the priority pulling is her > e2 > s1 ? since you could probably use welt LC or good night sleep LC for f2p option s1 stats is pretty crazy tho
rant: why do they have to make a “use ult 3 times for an enhanced ult” mechanic on her ult when she goes on a 2-3 turn ult rotation because this kind of mechanic of using ult 3 times screams that she would be using ult as her main source of damage means she will be using her ult every now and then but the 2-3 turn rotation makes it seems so slow
I think you’re misunderstanding.
Whenever you use her Ult she performs 4 actions: 3 Rainblades and 1 Stygian Resurge.
yea just noticed that just now with the animation on her ult
probably he got lost in the wall of text which in turn i kinda wish they add something like “Her Ultimate consist of 4 set of moves that you can control/redirect for the first 3 times and hits all enemies as a final hit” for more consist meaning for her description
s1 > e2
Hooo boii… so the previous leak about her Ult’s 4 attacks calling them “distinct actions” is real huh? Seems like we’ll be able to target those attacks freely (for context, in much older leaks it was auto-targeting highest Flower count).
Unfortunately it doesn’t look like her Ult’s final slash (Stygian Resurge) detonates the excess Knots, only removes them. There’s no mention in its description of the Knots dealing damage, and it only deals 15 Toughness.
– – –
Now to discuss the significant changes before beta went up:
Her personal Slashed Dream generation has been heavily reduced (1->0 from BA, 2->1 from Skill) which practically makes 2 Nihi teammates (or her sig LC) a requirement. A bit strong-armed for that Nihi interaction, but it is understandable to give debuffer Nihility its place after DoTs had their turn. Honestly, even if you were to get E2 on Acheron, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were to make a future Nihility busted enough to warrant running triple Nihi anyway. It still means more “Energy” for Acheron anyway.
As a result of her Slashed Dream changes, her Ult was made stronger by buffing her final slash plus adding extra hits via A6. There’s no clear indication of this being Bounce-type since it clearly states “to a single enemy target” which presumably means her final slash gains a primary target crosshair (which works out because her Ult uses 4 distinct actions).
I’ve already had sheets (no fight sim ofc, just ability damage calcs: E6 Pela w/ S5 Resolution, E0 SW, E0S1 Acheron — all debuffs active) and ASSUMING that her A6 hits (as they’re treated as Ult Dmg and come from her Ult’s attack) are also affected by her A4 Multiplier increase, then this change is a buff to her main target Dmg/Turn but a nerf to her adjacent/AoE damage compared to her previous iteration (which has a fast 2-turn Ult, so more frequent AoE damage).
I believe her potential damage is competitive enough (at least with the above team I calc’d) although it’s not at the peak. At the very least it can’t reach it yet, not with the current Nihis available. But I mean, she doesn’t necessarily have to be the next Jingliu, no?
Forgot to mention that in the previous iteration, you can expect 2-turn Ults. But now we’re expecting 3-turn Ults, which is also why her Ult and A6 got buffed (Dmg buff now lasts 3 turns). Also it’s not like 2-turn Ults are now impossible, it’s just firmly gated behind E2 S1 now, and ideally still running with 2 Nihi teammates.
While I’m still entertaining the potential for off-turn Dream gain for her through certain interactions, it’s easier to assume that she’s running with pure Nihi debuffers (Pela/SW) and thus only count as 1 ally turn = 1 Dream gain. Their occasional Ult will slightly increase Dream gain, but only matters over multiple turns due to their infrequency (2-3 turns depending on how hard you invested in their Energy gain).
in her E2S1 would acheron + bronya + pela/sw + sustain would be the ideal comp to go?
I mean, it’ll work if you want to run that team, sure.
I can’t claim anything about being “ideal” since I’m not equipped for a fight sim (it’s a pain).
i think 2turn ults is still posible in this iteration. Even without SL, Acheron gains 1 Dream from her skill each turn ,and since she inflicts 1 Knot as well, she gain extra 1 Dream point from her talent. That’s 2 point each turn.
2+1+1+2+1+1=8, only 1 point left. And pela has her ult.
We’re not entirely sure Knot application is treated as a debuff application, no? It’s entirely possible it’s a unique effect and isn’t treated as a debuff (like RM Ult’s delayed damage). It’s similar to Dr. Ratio’s Ult in that it’s just a unique effect that has a conditional trigger. By itself it does nothing and isn’t even counted as a debuff.
that’s right. maybe Knot is not a debuff.
But the relic Pioneer Diver 4-pic effect needs the character to inflict debuffs in order to gain double Crit Rate. So i still hope that the Knot does count as a debuff.
It is very interesting to know how her talent works. It states that Acheron gets one stack to charge her ultimate when any unit applies a debuff. So this effect should spread to herself, since the description does not exclude this. Therefore, a signature cone or a Kafka cone will most likely help to get an additional stack when using basic attack or skill.
If it really works this way, then having an 3 Nihility at team or sustener with debuffs like Aventurine or Galager, most likely is help to achieve ultimate in 2 turns, even without E2.
Any preservation can be a debuffer when you give them topaz’ Preservation LC, no? It burns anyone who hit the wielder.
Any preservation can be a debuffer when you give them topaz’ Preservation LC, no? It burns anyone who hit the wielder. Also, freeze is a debuff also, right? An E1 Gepard has quite consistent freeze.
“Nihility busted enough to warrant running triple Nihi anyway. It still means more “Energy” for Acheron anyway.”, there’s a Leak about a Nihility that gives DEF Debuffs and can Heal allies on his/her Ult, Jiaoqiu.
I know it’s probably gonna be better when slapped on her teammates, but in theory, couldn’t she use Pearls of Sweat as a Wish.com version of her Signature LC to get a Debuff she can apply every turn even if someone doesn’t wind up getting her Sig. LC?
abit confusing. slashed dream required to do ultimate, the only way to get slashed dream is using skill?
teammate applying debuffs generate one stack of slashed dream
debuffers can charge her ult
NIHILITY.

Her kit is really… Well… Hard to understand. I’m not sure If I understood it properly, but I’ll pull her because she looks pretty. The worst thing I noticed about her is a huge buff if your team is three nihilities and I’m not sure If that buff will be able to compensate some Ruan or Bronya in her team. And if you want Bronie or other buffer in the team AND have 60% buff instead of 15, prepare your money for c2, hehehehe.
Her cone is… well, op, like any gacha LC now. But at least she has good night.
love this lady

I love her
This Kit is Great! But it’s still miss one important stuff.
Dev’s shoud buff first trace and add 30-40% effect hit chance to it, or her LC will be weak against boss and elite enemy than can resist addtional effect from it, that sugnifcaly reduce her potential with S1.
nah the traces is actually good enough it would be better to remove the base chance in the LC and make it a guarantee chance instead
I feel like 100% base chance is generous enough, just have a few ehr rolls here and there in your relics or even team with pela for additional ehr. Plus, the 28% atk/24% cdamg/8% lightning dmg are way more useful than some ehr, because her base kit doesn’t involve anything to the possibility of applying a debuff like other nihility units, so if you are not using her signature lc, it’s fair to say that ehr is completely useless on her.
Goddamn. She looks amazing. Still wondering about LC and team comp tho.. Most likely will forego the 2 nihility characters in favor of SW + RM + Sustain, since the damage bonus and pen res (and 20% def ignore from my E1 RM) will be much better than an extra 45% DMG boost. Not sure which LC would be F2P on her tho, maybe I will get her LC.
Isn’t Pela + the 45% dmg boost better than E0 Ruan Mei ?
People need to comprehend that her A4 is not a simple Dmg Inc. That’s effectively a multiplier increase. A straight up 1.15x/1.6x towards her formula.
Then what would be her ideal comp? I’m not very savvy about HSR damage formula mathematics, so I’m not sure. I was gonna go with the mentioned comp, but idk yet. I do have BS since people mention that she’s great at stacking thundering slash stacks.
She seems so amazing ! Can’t for for her !
I’ll have to be lucky for LC but I can at least guarantee her =3
Nihility really is my fav path =D
I was thinking about LC as well Her options are really bad since there is no Nihility lc that offers Crit besides her own. from the list of options I’m gonna say Good Night Sleep Well followed by Welts LC. I guess we’ll need to wait for people to crunch the numbers but Her LC i fear might be a must pull
