      She’s a good unit, but the way everyone is ridding her crimson knot is disgusting. The push for Acheron like she breaks the charts is ridiculous. No you shouldn’t pull for her any more than any DPS unit, and I just wish there was more opposition, more voices telling players to maybe think twice.

      The anecdotes are especially killing me. The I did 500k so she can’t be bad… like all her damage isn’t funneled into her ult, or that she doesn’t overkill enemies to inflate her perceived numbers. Most DPS units have their damage spread out, Jingliu doing 200k per skill and 250 per ult is in no way inferior for example…

      • Not to mention Jingliu is sooooooooo easy to build. Girl got free 50% crit rate, 30% crit damage, and 9 speed build in her. You don’t need really her LC too, just get the Herta’s LC and you’ll be fine.

      • My biggest issue with Acheron is her strict requirements to get anywhere near her full potential
        Yes full potential Acheron is absolutely insane… but…
        Her best 4* LC is barely 80% of her sig, her best F2P isn’t even 70%
        Then she slows down if you don’t have Resolution Shines on Pela and her ST dmg isn’t particularly stunning without SW
        I think Acheron is great but the amount of hoops new players need to go through to use a fraction of her potential is insane
        Compare that to Dan Heng and Jingliu who both have a free LC that’s over 90% of their sig, easy Relic sets and the ability to use VERY easily obtainable supports
        For newer players Acheron is not the way unless you’re willing to dedicate everything to her
        For more experienced players do what you want

    • why are you bringing JY into this? bro, I assure you nobody, absolutely nobody aside JY mains gives AF about him or consider him as competitor to Acheron, DHIL or JL. Character should be good after month of farm and with various availiable comps, and not after year of struggling, relic sets juggling, copium TC and 5* supports as mandatory requirement.

  2. I decided to get her since she is technically Raiden, she is pretty great, my experiences with her:

    She is both good and bad for F2P, depend on your account status. Fermata S5 would still work even if not Ideal compare to S3+ GNSW, with 4* 2 Nihility and sustain that can stack for her ( Fire Trailblazer or Gallagher ) she is pretty close or a bit behind E0S1 Jingyuan with Sparkle E0S1 ( tho my JY is still not finished on relic sets, but same goes for Acheron ). Her teammate would also want to use recommended LCs that can help her stack or debuff enemies for more damage, but I think same thing can be say for most teams out there, just Acheron feels especially more demanding

    Her S1 has a massive power gap, while it is like 10% – 15% dmg increase on number compare to GNSW S5, the real advantage is the ability to stack faster. With S1 you can also run 1 Nihility + 1 Harmony and can still get similar dmg to 2 Nihility, while getting better buffs if using RM/Sparkle. Sustainless is really strong and is viable even against SAM, but I guess not really relatable for more F2P players

    Overall I think she is a solid characters for any strong accounts, but for F2P account that lack majority of her needs, it is better to aim for Jingliu.

    • You’re too uptight about the words you use: “pretty great”, “solid”. Dude, you can tell, she’s totally broken lmao.
      And the difference in damage between the S1 and GNSW S5 isn’t 10-15% at all, it’s 25%.
      Personally, I’d still recommend her for a f2p, as she will be more valuable in the future with the release of future Nihility characters, and even if the stuff isn’t very good, she still does a lot of damage.

    • It’s a me, an F2P player.

      This is rarely mentioned, but Acheron instakill technique is a great time saver for free roam farming.

      If you’re brand new new, like, fresh from the oven new, the current Acheron banner is actually still good for you. Pela is in there; she’s a solid debuffer. Gallagher is a good healer (Walmart Luocha) especially at E2, where he can cleanse. He also can add a stack for Acheron with his ult, which is a plus. And if you’re lucky enough to get Acheron early, you can try her weapon banner where GNSW is in there, the alternative for her signature LC.

      At worst, if you lose 50:50, you can skip and pull for a guaranteed Jingliu, another broken character who can perform well with low investments, and can utilize Pela as well.

  4. DoOmPoStErS aRe In ShAmBlEs – lol, everything still holds true. She is TERRIBLE for a F2P, new or casual players.

    EVERY, single, one of Acheron’s teammates (Including her) NEEDS a Gacha Lightcone. Trend, Pearls and GNSW to be exact, three puzzle pieces which if you are lacking… well. The funny part is having ONLY ONE copy does not suffice. E1 Pearls needs 170, I REPEAT 170 EHR to land consistently … don’t even get me Started on how garbage Fermata or S1 GNSW is.

    Oh right, did I mention that beyond Pela, what is Acherons last teammate supposed to be? It’s either BS or SW, two limited 5 star characters. ANY OTHER CHOICE is just there to inflict debuffs. Gui, Sampo and Welt are laughable additions, whose contributions are minute at best. NONE other limited DPS has this issue, minus maybe Blade ( no one is saying he is strong)

    I have no personal problem with Acheron, is just she is being pushed mindlessly as this miraculous unit, which she isn’t. Especially with Jingliu on the horizon, it’s incredibly disingenuous if not outright blatant misinformation. You should pull if you like her and that’s about it. She’s not ahead of the curve, would even argue behind if you don’t know what you are doing

      a) she is BEST for newbs / casuals because she isnt dependent on weakness
      b) all those lightcones have downside of not using other lightcone. With pela using pearls instead of SW’s free LC you are losing energy generation and need ton of EHR meaning from unit where you only need speed on substats, she becomes way more expensive to build in terms of relics. Using trend instead of some taunt LC you are losing taunt/stats. And GNSW is literally on Acheron’s LC banner with all the shower of jades falling it shouldnt be an issue for newb to at least get GNSW with few refinements.
      c) Jingliu is epitome of hypercarry, without full investment and proper supports she is just hp-draining wet tissue after cycle 0. With Jingliu you either clear in 0-1 cycles or prepare for drag of transmigration downtime when all her downsides non visible in 0-1 cycling become transparent.
      d) Acheron frees Bronya and Ting for other half, meaning your best f2p supports will be always available for other dps.
      e) unlike others she doesnt need gacha 5* supports to perform adequately lol

      she is literally miles ahead of others specifically for newbs/f2p

U can see some of F2P experiences on her and helped a lot by her presence. So what I’m gonna say is, just see from other perspective and don’t just pretending to be a genius theorycrafter who can make a statement that can lead everyone’s opinion to your misguide (especially for F2P).
        First, F2P’s level is just ‘clear’, not fast clear. So, in terms of just ‘clear’, Acheron is absolutely far more than just enough for F2P. But I can’t deny the power of Jingliu in the F2P level is extremely powerful, but that’s not the thing. So, if you are the one who is concerning about ‘the 0 cycle thingy’, don’t talk too much about F2P thingy, because your insight is neither calculated nor valid.
        Second, in terms of power, in the calculated chart, even E0 Acheron can compete with E4 Jingliu. That’s the reason why she called ‘broken’.
        So, without the ‘F2P insight’ and calculated data in the arguement, I genuinely said you’re still remain a clown.

    • Pulled her on my forgotten second account. Oneshots in overworld makes things on lower levels much, MUCH easier. Pela and Gui work… Well, solid. Fire trailblazer gives almost zero utility, but he may be the best preservation in terms of Acheron stacks ever because of taunt. Her team works pretty good. And she did 50k on 60th level with toilet artifacts and teammates, which is almost my lvl 80 170 crit mass JY’s LL without Sparkle.
      She’s broken, you can’t deny it.

        Anyway, have you even used the character, or are you sharing what you’ve heard from other people? JIngyuan is by far the MOST flexible character when it comes to picking his supports. LItteraly any support is a strong choice, and was used in a 0 cycle at some point in time. How universal he is, and his ability to perform in any mode (PF and MOC) is probably his biggest assent.

        Tingyun is his bread and butter, not Sparkle nor Ruan Mei. There is a Jingyuan 0 cycle of the previous MOC with TIngyun, Hanya and Yukong fyi.

        Ofc Mei and Sparkle are upgrades over his usual 4 star supports, but that applies to everyone. Also it’s a weird battle to pick, considering Blade cannot even function without 5 star harmonies.

    • 1. Given the lacking of light cone storage of the account you discribe, no character can be good on the said account, not even Jing Yuan. RNASP on Pela at E4+ is asked for by not only Acheron, but also Jingliu. If that’s the reason why Acheron is bad then that’s true for Jingliu, too. A fresh account simply needs time to accumulate and the player shouldn’t be too hasty to consider how they will challenge the endgame contents such as MoC and PF.

      2. Guinaifen is a versatile teammate due to her ability to stack for Acheron by basic attack, skill, and ultimate, which allows a quick “energy” gain on Acheron. Welt functions like a pseudo sustainer who allows a zero sustainer build, that’s to say, a harmony unit on Acheron’s team without Acheron’s E2. I zero-cycled yanqing with Acheron, Pela, Welt, and Sparkle in ease, even easier than when I do the same with Seele hypercarry. One shouldn’t be arrogant by calling a playstyle laughable before trying it out, or at the very least hearing from someone else who did.

      3. Some descriptions about Jing Yuan from you are too generic to be considered an edge of Jing Yuan. Flexibility with any support? Zero-cycler? Universal on both MoC and PF? Ting Yun is the bread and butter? That reminds me of a scythe slinger. A dragon and a plasterhead also fits the criteria if PF is not included.

        Pela E4 or her lightcone are Irrelevant for Jingliu. I got my E4 Pela this week (d1 player btw), and my Bronya 2 months ago. Terrible unlucky, yet my Jingliu still performed incredible, 0 cycling since the day I got her. E4 Pela is reduandant. You cannot afford to use her skill in any of Jingliu’s teams, else you’ll run into severe sp issues. Have you used tripple support Jingliu before??? Pearls of Sweat and E4 are significant for Acheron because else Pela CANNOT PROC ANY DEBUFFS beyond her ult.

        Stop mentioning Jingyuan, he’s weaker than Acheron, I’m not the one who brought him up. I get it he’s not a pretty girl and you don’t wanna figure out how he works, just stop spreading hate.

        There’s a disgusting notion of powercreep floating around the community which is simply not there. Every, and I mean it. EVERY limited DPS is a lot closer to each other than you’d think (At E0S1). They all clear enemies weak to their element in a similair cycle count, YTers are starved for clicks and tierlists for relevancy. Again if you’d actuslly use these charactsrs before, without any bias you’d reach the same conclusion genshin players did a long time ago. This is Support Star Rail. Get E1 Mei, and even Serval will hit like Acheron

        So stop hyping up a girl just because her chest is big. BrIcKeD aCcOuNt If YoU dOn’T hAvE aChErOn. You wont die in real life if you admit she has flaws. She doesn’t love you (she only had eyes for me)

  5. Another scenario of doomposters being absolutely wrong lmao. My e0s5 Fermata Acheron with e4 Pela and e1 Sampo deals over 500k dmg per ult. I don’t think any unit in the game can match that at the same level of investment.
