    • more context needed; what units do you have? are you ok with sustains atm? are you planning to vertically invest into them? iirc topaz isnt that much better than sw/pela in ratio teams, though i could be wrong; im also talking about e0s0 as well

    • Jade is more like a main/sub dps (leaked kit –> https://imgur.com/unvzTgI). One of the best teams in the future will probably be dr ratio/topaz/jade/aventurine. Robin is more of a general support who will work in more teams. I think dr ratio/robin/jade/aventurine will be an amazing team aswell. It all depends on personal preference at the end of the day.

    • 160 energy is a big hurdle to jump over from. Add that to the fact that she stagnates and slows down while on ult.

      + 5 + 12 (assuming all units hit 2x during ult) ( 1st turn – 1 duration of singing)
      + 35 + 6 (assuming units hit 1x) (2nd turn)
      + 20 + 6 (3rd turn)
      + 35 + 6 (4th turn)

      = 125 x 1. 244 = 155

On a regular ERR set and rope, you won’t reach ult on the 4th turn even if you go SP neutral on her.

  3. after see Robin and Ruanmei kits side by side, i can finally assume that Robin is LITE version of Ruanmei. if you already have RM, you dont need her at all. her E1 24% all res pen
RM ulti give 25% res pen, which mean you dont need her E at all while Robin need.
RObin gave 50% DMG on her skill while RM gives 32% on her skill. but if you have S1 RM you can have 64% of DMG increase. so yeah ROBIN is the weakest version of RM. IDK why HOYO made her like that.

On top the that she can do additional damage while her perfoming ult ? And all of her kit are ATK% + Crit + DMG and you’re saying she’s weak RM ?

      • Yeah it seems like they forgot to take into account the action advancement from Robin ultimate, also it seems she will be able to dish out a bit of her own personal damage. Which how good that action advance is, depends on who goes first. The crit damage boost she gives to the whole party. Along with a greater boost, to follow up attacks. Yeah it seems like they just miss so many parts of Robin kit. It seems more like, she might be more favorable in follow up attack parties.

  4. So currently i’m in shamble to choose between Aventurine or Robin, can anyone confirm how good is she and which of the two is worth to get for me?

As for now i have Luocha and Fu Xuan (E0S1) for sustain, while Luocha is still really good but i think he’s a bit outdated, also Aventurine could help a bit with Acheron stacks.
And for Robin i was planning on replacing Bronya (E0S1) with her for my Jing Liu team (with Ruan Mei E0S1) but i still unsure since Bronya really help Jing Liu with her stacks.

    Please any advice

    • Hey, uhm both of ur takes are terrible

Robin DOESN’T replace Bronya, nor is Luocha worth discarding

Although no one can deny Aventurine is simply better than our first limited healer, no limited sustain is head and shoulders over one another. You really shouldn’t die with either. Aventurine’s damage contribution is vastly overrated and Luocha’s SP positivity underminded

Robin is a weird one. Specifically for Jingliu she isn’t outstanding, as you’re pumping more attack into a unit which already has 180% atk innately. You already have Jingliu’s best team

Honestly this sounds like a waifu pull over anything else. Ur account isn’t lacking in any regard. If Luocha irks you, you like Robin’s song etc go ahead.

My personal 2 cents is to go for Robin, since limited sustains so far have proven themselves to be invaluable

        • Well some characters work better with healers than shielders. Which since they have not put monkeys on both sides in memory of chaos. Gepard can fulfill that need rather well. Which also, memory of chaos is going to change. Like it always does. Which his role is to keep the party alive. many characters can do that. heck, long as they are not Nat. You shouldn’t have much issue with keeping the party alive.

        • Unlikely, I have got the same comment about Loucha before, yet I never did regret it, more so now since I always run sustainless on one half, the other half is just Lynx. Even back then, I beat MoC 10 ( After loucha banner end in 1.2 ) with just half build Nata and March 7th ( simply gave them 134 spd and it turn the table real quick ). 0 cycle run usually don’t need a sustain in the team as well. So no, he is great for weaker account strength but not a ” guaranteed regret for skipping ” take to me, because your whole team build matter more and 5* sustain are just big comfy to reduce your stats build needs. Or that you don’t know how to deal with Gear & Gold

regret for not owning him as a likeable character tho ? I could agree to that xD

          • Yeah when it comes to fear of missing out. I sometimes think it the player base that promotes that it more than the gacha game. Since they always seem to think about the here and now, never what is the next character going to be release. That and when it comes to things like healers, shielders. There is already a fair number of them in the game. That can handle the job of keeping your team alive rather well. Which as shown very recently, more get added over time. Which Lynx being a very good four star, that can solo heal moc. One could make the case, healers/shielders are the most easy to skip. Since you if you already have two that can keep your party alive. No need to replace them.

Like if your teams can already keep themselves alive. Skipping a shielder or healer, is simple enough. Beside, it not like they won’t have reruns if needed in the future or even a four star that can fulfill the role just fine. For yeah some people just seem to want to promote the idea of roll roll roll. Even if they don’t need it. Which given the rng of artifacts in the game. Well, unless your lucky as heck or the characters are very simple to build, due to only wanting easy to get stats. It might be hard to properly gear up all of these characters or these resources could of been spend on making the characters you do have better.

A much better reason to not skip Aventurine is due to the drip. That hat is amazing.

    • Well let’s not pretend Ruan Mei’s E1 is not of the same caliber. You also have to consider how much higher uptime Mei has on her buffs and how easier they are to keep up fully

Robin on the other hand will NOT be in Concerto nearly as much. Most important of all she has to sell. Sparkle also has strong early eidolons, so they had to incentivise pulling for Robin somehow.

S1 and E2 are ult uptime baits
And E1 is 0 cycling bait

You have to appeal to the low spenders somehow. And quite frankly its fine for Eidolons to be busted. It lets people who spend feel powerful, and balancing around eidolons is just a terrible practice

does this mean her E/Skill duration won’t decrease during ult because simply she won’t take turn? that’s pretty nice. (but during that she can’t do normal attack to generate sp correct?)

and How much/long of the cycle she takes doing ult/singing? about 1-2 whole cycles?

    • After the die is cast, Robin’s Concerto countdown moves at 90 speed.

Considering she advanves forwards everyone upon usage, you’ll be able to move at least twice before it ends.

The speed threshold to move 3 times should be 181 speed (though I’m not 100% lol). So if my assumption is correct, 160 Speed + Dance x3 should get you 3 turns in Robin’s concerto

If a cycle ends Robin’s countdown resets, but since your team doesn’t get advanved forward, they’ll only get one more turn. Unless you meet the threshold to move twice

  7. V4 Changes:

Second Trace: Crit Damage while launching follow up attacks in Concerto increases by 25% (was 10%)

E1: Now gives 24% RES pen from the get go to ALL allies

E2: Now increases speed by 16% while in Concerto, in adition to the old + 1.0 Energy Regeneration increase to her base tallent

    Thoughts:

Glad to see E1 going from a slight headache to a best E1 contender. Most importantly it’ll raise Robins damage by 25%, which is massive, her DPS potential is back, if ever so faintly

I hope her techinque will get a bump next, it still feels a bit underwhelming. The lightcone as well, it became outclassed by E1, it’d be nice to bring it a lil more in line (more pigeon buffs pls)

    • I’m interested to see how she works with Aventurine/Topaz/Jade, with how often they would get to attack. +50% dmg from her skill, +20% crit dmg from her passive and +25% crit dmg to follow up atks from her trace, thats not counting the ATK boost from her ult as well. (plus Im glad they made the skill be DMG% and not ATK% so even Aventurine can get use of it, despite him scaling with DEF) As an Aventurine E0S1 and Topaz E1S1 haver, I’m looking forward to Robin.
