    • Usable but not great. Boothill doesn’t care about attack and crit damage; hence the only big thing from her is the advance forward.

  1. HSR players are complaining how weak this character is just because she’s not absurdly disgustigly freaking broken like Slutan or miss Suicide Clown are.
BTW, she’s the first RELATIVELY fairly balanced harmony 5* ever. buff not much bigger than TY’s and no energy regen in return of bigger damage by herself and teamwide buffs. Yes, she’s still a couple times stronger than TY, but she has NO game breaking mechanics (unlike Slutan’s break efficiency or Clown’s SP cheats)

    • One difference I noticed is that the DMG she triggers can crit, and has set crit rate and damage.

Additionally, I see typos in E1 and E6, where they increase effect by “0%” (and E6 triggers on 4.5 attacks). Those are likely mistakes.

    • if based on preliminary kit, she would want break harmonies (MC/Ruan Mei)

but usually few details will be miss and different from leeks, better wait for the beta.

tbh, harmony character works when it works. some leek gameplay even use Robin with Boothil, and it works.

  2. How long is it gonna take to get her Ult back? 4 turns after ult or 5-6 ally turns?

Is it really still 160? or was it buffed?

    • still 160 and will likely stays (for them to bait that E2)

on S1 + vonwaq ER Rope, after exiting concerto you can get ulti again after Robin use skill two times with the help of reworked A6 trace (on Clara team)

probably can be less than that if she gets hit and if you have other follow-up unit in the team as well for example Aventurine or March7 as sustain.

    • even with S1 the energy still bad outside Follow-up team, so yeah E1 if you have budget and just use ERR rope. there’s no reason to go ATK rope & Physical sphere anymore right?

personally i’ll just stay E0… new E1 weight better than previous E1 turret damage in some scenario (Robin personal dmg tradeoff into buff for other party). for example it works better on hypercarry with dual harmony setup where they can’t maximize Robin additional dmg that well compared to Full FuA team.

new E1 run with Acheron (+1 nihility), the ultimate does 50k more dmg than E0 at 1 stack {12% res pen). there is “rare” chance you won’t be able to unleash E1 full potential (24% RES PEN) on non-FuA team because of miss-manage dps timing or auto mode not saving ultimate before Robin goes concerto.

it would be better if they can remove the stacks and gives 24% RES PEN right off from concerto. well there will be v4 next week anyway, copium for the best.

    • I actually disagree with the advice here, S1 seems stronger than E1

Barring energy aside and focusing solely on the buffs, Robin’s lightcone has a whopping 160 extra base atk. Robin will end up having a stupidly higher amount of ATK, which increases both her buffs and Personal Damage. Count in an extra 24% DMG bonus which is nothing to scoff at.

Speaking of, E1 does NOTHING for Robin’s Damage, meanwhile S1 will be a massive boost.

Most important of all, all these increases are Permanent and Always Active. E1 requires ramp up. And all of this, is without mentioning the entirely new rotations the extra Energy will allow for. It’s difficult to calculate, but an enemy hit here, a Vonwack + Rope + 15 Energy there, and the math becomes incredibly flimsy.

Count in Lightcones are easier to get (75/25, 10 less pitty) and that they boost her survivability as well as comfort

    • forgot to add disclaimer that my previous reply is just an “example” based on Acheron which benefits more from E1 instead of LC 24% DMG because i don’t have follow-up team and just want to get her because hey it’s harmony.

on general use, especially those who want to maximize Robin DMG like the other reply wanted, FuA team is more favored. outside follow-up team, just treat it as a bonus dmg. (E1/S1 roughly hit arround 25k with def shred)

to avoid misinformation, LC buff(s) are not permanent. only 15% energy regen is always active once you reached the 5 stacks. it is possible for Robin to get ulti again after 2 turn with ER rope + LC if you spam skill (bonus trace)

event LC S5 have 200 less ATK on concerto buff (rough calc.)

my opinion before v4 (feel free to correct if i made mistake)
      – on low budget? like the character? like the song? = E0/S0.
      – nuke hypercarry triple/dual harmony tryhard 0-cycler = E1
(you get DMG% bonus from other harmony, and most of them need to finish battle with 1 ultimate, wave change reset included)
      – FuA team & general use on long term = S1

      • Mhm, you are indeed correct. I expected the difference to be bigger, considering Robin will have around 250 ATK %, but oh well.

Her Damage is 15% higher and her buff 12% with S1. Not super significant. It makes both options a lot more in line.

I’m actually curious what your thoughts are on Robin, from a more tryhardy 0 cycling perspective. Do you find her on the same level, stronger or weaker than her peers? Considering the competition is pretty stacked. I find it hard to evaluate her lol

And some food for thought, if you enter 2nd wave with ulti, how much speed would you need to act twice? It could be a gamechanger and guarantee two ults. Heard someone say 167 speed might be enough, which would make Robin outright ridiculous if true.

        • i also made mistake and i do agree with some of your point about S1

i’m afraid i can’t answer that 0 cycling question because i’m not 0 cycler myself, just observing gameplay and do some test based on what relic i have. one more push for 3 characters is already good for 0 cycler out there.

it’s probably hard to get 2 act on 2nd wave because concerto have base spd 90. Robin SPD and DDD Lightcone won’t affect it. let’s say concerto ends 1 turn after 29 cycle card, robin will only get turn after concerto exit which is too late.

  3. smth that kinda sorta sucks is that you actually have to skill with her on the first turn, meaning you go into the rest of your rotation with 2 sp as opposed to 4 sp with vonwacq ruan mei, which imo feels terrible (not the worst tho) – ive mainly experienced smth like this with ruan mei in echoes of war with huohuo, e0s1 bronya and a support jingliu against the damn bug where i dont use ruan mei’s technique before the battle and it sucks

shes also gonna be quite squishy since 99% of the time youre using her with cogs (sig lcs and limited 5* eidolons do not exist to me) and her personal dmg goes down quite a bit because of it – in fact youre pretty much going to be building her like tingyun. its def not gonna be as squishy as cogs ty so i dont think itll be too bad overall

i think robin’s in a good place – 50% dmg, 20% cdmg, 22.8% of her own atk plus 200 in concerto and 360% additional dmg with guaranteed 150% cdmg assuming you hit 3 times before end of concerto – can easily be more with fua – and 100% action advance for ALL party members once every 3 or 4 turns is nothing to scoff at and easily poises her as one of the best harmonies in the game (lower than rm and possibly sparkle imo but rm is rm and ive never been good at evaluating av)

i did do energy calcs pre-v2 and she should be able to get a 3-turn ult with cogs + pena/von assuming allies hit enemies 17 times (though i probably did them wrong and 17 times within 3 turns is a lil unrealistic) – can someone tell me whether or not cogs and memories proc on concerto additional dmg? energy calcs themselves are quite finicky though and dont take into account outside factors such as getting hit, plus i dont remember whether or not i took into account her dimension technique which isnt always going to be up since in ratio teams for example you want to use his over hers

i think were all underestimating the 100% action advance for all units but its really hard to evaluate before release – or at least i find it hard to and dont know how the action advance even works in regards to who moves first (i didnt pay attention to the upgraded 3* hunt blessing despite it being my favourite blessing in the game lol) – i assume it goes in order of speed so sparkle/bronya will be quite very good with her

sorry just my robin thoughts – generally, units are almost always better than we think on release – case in point, argenti, acheron and ruan mei (the ppl who thought bronya was better before ruan mei proceeded to overruan the meta), who performed above community expectations upon their release

…im so sorry blade that you cant use her atk buffs rip

    • Robin will be indispensable in making some awesome 0 cycle clears work. She’ll also be a sidegrade to Ruan Mei in basically all of her comps (excluding break). She’ll also be incredible in Pure Fiction.

Her biggest issues though, is that, her kit feels a tad incomplete. Maybe it’s just me, but a dimension technique granting 5 energy??? A trace gives 5 energy. Another 10 crit dmg, while in her ult, only to follow up attacks. The lightcone gives no stats beyond it’s effect. It feels so barebones, other supports have paragraph after paragraph

Oh and, we’re getting an event LC tailor made for her. Cogs seems quite bad tbh, since she’ll get turns once every 3 business days, and she desperately wants ATK. That said, she seems a lot more rough on the Skill Points then you might think. Since her speed gets reduced to 90, and it may be better to do a skill basic skill rotation to get ult up quicker.

      • i think cogs is great on her assuming she gets hit, plus im not sure what youd use otherwise
we dont know which lc will be the event one, though its likely that there’ll be one in the first place since its honestly about time (3 patches in between lcs) – and im leaning more towards it being the acheron one, though its entirely possible that they slap us in the face with robin’s or they just make them both gacha
i feel like she feels pretty complete except for her technique – her traces have about as much text as bronya’s, plus she gets a vonwacq! stonks!

        • We do know, the event LC is “For Tommorow’s Journey”
It is a F2P option for Robin and i don’t really see anything else being better on her at the moment.
It is shown in the event rewards for “Dreamjoy Memoir”. It was recently posted on the leak subreddit.

      • Not fully disagreeing with you here but the 5 energy is per wave during her technique, I can see line ups in SU where you have 3-4 enemies, and you group them up into one large fight gaining 5 energy at start if each wave, 20 is alot better than 5. Still this requires line ups you may not see everywhere. So underwhelming there.

Mostly the lightcone is unappreciated here. stacks 3% energy regen, max 5 when allies attack (assuming this includes follow ups) means up to 15% energy regen super fast. Pushing her to ULT and then get the dmg and atk bonus side of the cone.

But as always, limited cones are tailor made for a character, the F2P option they are releasing for the event is quite good as an alternative, but seeing as her ULT is when she is most useful I just think the Limited LC with a Follow Up Team is most important.
