Lingsha E0S0 vs. Gallagher E6 comparason in Firefly’s team
1. Despite Lingsha has higher break damage vul than Gallagher, Firefly is a powerhouse that almost never worry about damage.
2. Lingsha has higher toughness damage vs. multiple targets while Gallagher provides high single target toughness damage in an instant, leading to the latter very often used in many Firefly’s 0-cycle showcases.
3. Lingsha has higher healing power and cleansing power, but Firefly breaks the enemies so fast she almost never worry about sustaining.
In short, Lingsha E0S0 has no apparent major advantage vs. Gallagher E6 in Firefly’s team.
Q: When put aside the favoritism towards characters, should I get Lingsha?
A: It depends.
– Firefly is tough and strong with the f2p Gallagher. If you have E6 Gallagher or at least E2, getting Lingsha isn’t really cost efficient.
– Lingsha is a match of Aventurine for the FUA focused teams. Aventurine attacks more often vs. hyperactive enemies and PF, while Lingsha’s count of attacks is stable and do not ask the enemies to be hyperactive. Getting her for Feixiao isn’t a bad choice if you don’t already have Aventurine.
– Lingsha is a match of Luocha as a general healer, getting her isn’t a bad choice if you are lack of some good sustainers.
– It is even better if you happen to have Luocha’s signature light cone, which is the only light cone that allows 2 turn ult for Lingsha meaning much more toughness damage and much greater count of attacks, turning her much better when supporting either Firefly or Feixiao. Luocha’s signature light cone is outperforming Lingsha herself’s, I’m dare to say.
Q: Should I get Lingsha’s eidolons or the signature light cone?
– E1 is good to consider because it increases Lingsha’s toughness damage, however it is somewhat costly to get an eidolon.
– E2 and E4 are simply bad and E6 is simply pay for damage. Get it only if you love her so much you willing to E6 her.
– The signature light cone is simply pay for damage and the 18% vul has very diminishing returns in Firefly’s team. Also, it is no match to many f2p light cones in terms of functionality because it has no functionality at all, just more damage. I can’t recommend this signature for you. If you deside Lingsha has to have a 5-star light cone, get Luocha’s signature for her.
I really don’t get why Hoyo shafted Lingsha so much
Wanna make a break support, but think Gallagher is already too strong to get powercrept? Why not give her omnibreak, or maker her a different element (Phyisical or Imaginary), remove the 1 on 1 comparison altogether
Shift away from break entirely, make Lingsha universal. She has follow ups, a summon, a damaging ult and skill, debuff aplication already. Too bad the only amplification she has is Break dmg%
Wher do we go from here?
– She won’t be good with future Break DPSes because she doesn’t match weakness
– She wont be good with Fua or Summons because she has 0 amp for them
– She is less SP positive than her competition
– She lacks CC immunity and her Summon can disappear, making her awkward for some rason
– While she can be good in PureFiction, she requires Luocha’s Lightcone, LMFAO!? So do you pull her’s or Luocha’s signature?? Bad design either way
Her entire kit screams E1S1 bait, both of whom turn Lingsha into an universal powerhouse which doubles as a healer and Debuffer. Investing that much into a Sustain is bad for obv reasons
When Dazz, the hoyo shilling agent says a character is bad, you know it’s bleak
What an insult, my lord.
pls give me TLDR about her 🙂
Especially – how much better would she be E0C0 compared to E6 Gallagher in Robin – HMC – Ruan Mei team?
Pull for waifu
Unless having a summon in the future makes you a god ig
Slightly better than E6 Gallagher. More break dmg boosting. Healing is way better and more frequent. If you have E6 Gallagher I would save your jades. Unless you like the waifu. Or a die-hard for the Firefly team.
Luocha’s signature is in fact the best in slot for Lingsha.
“After the wearer uses an attack, for each different enemy target the wearer hits, regenerates 3 Energy. Each attack can regenerate Energy up to 3 time(s) this way.”
This effect is very useful for Lingsha. She makes more from it even than Luocha himself, because her ultimate, skill, and the bunny, are all AoE. With this cone and an ERR rope, Lingsha can easily maintain a 2 turn ult rotation, meaning more toughness damage, more healing, more cleansing, and higher uptime of her ultimate debuff.
—- Energy Rotation Breakdown —-
The energy regen with ultimate, skill, basic, and bunny * 2 is:
(5 + 9 + 30 + 9 + 30 + 3 + 9 + 9) * 1.194 = 124.176 (Great!)
If there are only 2 enemies on the board:
(5 + 6 + 30 + 6 + 30 + 3 + 6 + 6) * 1.194 = 109.848 (Just a bit more…)
In this case, Lingsha needs 5% ERR planar set, or was hit once during the rotation, or her A6 trace to trigger once during the rotation, which is very likely to happen in high difficulty contents such as MoC.
If there is only 1 enemy on the board:
(5 + 3 + 30 + 3 + 30 + 3 + 3 + 3) * 1.194 = 95.52 (Just a bit more…)
In this case, Lignsha needs to get hit more than once, which is very likely to happen vs. single target boss such as the Sam boss.
—- Speed & AV Breakdown —-
Ideally, you want the bunny to take a natural turn before Lingsha’s ultimate to be fully recharged again. In order to reduce the losses of AV, Lingsha’s speed must be close to some point but no faster than it.
– For Lingsha to take the second turn slightly later than the bunny’s first turn, her average speed must be slower than: 20000 / (8000 / 90) = 225.
– If S5 DDD is triggered once during the process: 17600 / (8000 / 90) = 198.
Meaning it is very unlikely that Lingsha will badly outspeed the bunny leaving a turn go wasted. Even at 180 speed outside of battle, Lingsha is still safe to be advanced by S5 DDD once during the rotation.
—- Toughness Damage Breakdown —-
The total toughness damage done with ultimate, skill, basic, and bunny * 2 is:
(20 + 10 + 10 + 10 * 2) * 1.5 = 90
Among these toughness damage, 15 are single target and 75 are AoE.
The toughness damage are done within 2 turns, meaning 45 / turn vs. single target, or 82.5 / turn vs. 2 targets.
Note that I didn’t count Lingsha’s A6 trace in the breakdown.
Meanwhile, assuming Gallagher is at the same speed with Lingsha and maintains a 3 turn ult rotation, his toughness damage with ultimate, enhanced basic, and basic * 3 is:
(20 + 30 + 10 * 3) * 1.7 = 136
Among these toughness damage, 102 are single target and 34 are AoE.
Meaning 45.33… / turn vs. single target, or 56.66… / turn vs. 2 targets.
—- Q&A —-
Q: So is it worth it to get Luocha’s signature for Lingsha?
A: Nope. I’m writing it just in case you happen you have Luocha’s signature in your account.
If Lingsha follows a 3 turn ult rotation, the speed limit is slightly different. The speed required for Lingsha to take the 3rd turn right after the bunny’s first turn is impractical, so I’m calculating the speed required to take the 3rd turn right after the bunny’s second turn.
– For Lingsha to take the third turn slightly later than the bunny’s second turn, her average speed must be slower than: 30000 / (18000 / 90) = 150.
– If S5 DDD is triggered once during the process: 27600 / (18000 / 90) = 138.
– If S5 DDD is triggered twice during the process: 25200 / (18000 / 90) = 126.
Capping the speed at 150 if not 138 sounds like cutting your feet to fit into a pair of undersized shoes.
If Lingsha casts twice the skill and once the basic, the speed limit is different again.
– For Lingsha to take the third turn slightly later than the bunny’s second turn, her average speed must be slower than: 30000 / (16000 / 90) = 168.75.
– If S5 DDD is triggered once during the process: 27600 / (16000 / 90) = 155.25.
– If S5 DDD is triggered twice during the process: 25200 / (16000 / 90) = 141.75.
Capping the speed at 168.75 sounds acceptable but that would be too SP hungry as a sustainer.
Alternatively, you may hold the ultimate until the bunny takes the second turn in order to avoid the AV losses, however the AV delta becomes greater for each iteration, and eventually you will have to immediately cast the ultimate in order to avoid the energy losses.
Note that the speed breakdown didn’t take into consideration when you need to cast the ultimate as quickly as possible when you want some fast toughness damage or some energency healing.
I forgot to mention one thing. Lingsha /w Luocha’s sig can easily attack 5 times in 2 turns, or 6 times if the A6 trace was triggered. Feixiao would appreciate.
The potential of wind 4PC Lingsha in Pure Fiction just seems so insanely fun
Sadly who even has Luocha’s signature…
Now I’m really glad that I got Luocha’s lightcone lol
“What is real” is the best f2p option I assume or is there a better alternative for LingSha?
What is Real is good for both Lingsha and Gallagher
i like her character design. hope she become a universal unit, but do a great job to a certain team.
does increase in break DMG affect Super Break DMG ?
yes. it’s dose
Guys it’s ok they’re making her trash so they can give her for free
surely…
Yeah people said the same about Firefly
You are trash
funny peeps. minus 5 toughness damage and their world is already crumbling. but disregard the increase scaling and the plus 10spd on the rabbit. and saying gallagher still better, oh yes. every single player has e6 gallagher.
Imagine Blade got changed to need 6 hits for his follow up, but oh it’s a buff guys cause now it deals 2% more dmg to compensate
The SPD change is arguably a nerf btw. Now you need 180 SPD to outpace the Bunny. Just say you’re not pulling for her and want Lingsha to be bad to justify skipping, it’s okay
you commented in the wrong site, people here can math, and no one “crumble” before you mention it, we all know you are a generic reddit scammer that hunt for inexperienced youngsters, beside, i know if you do that you are usually not good at math yourself
gallager was given for free like 3 times so yeah a lot of people have him e6 and most people have him e2 which is already better than lingsha
Lingsha V3
The bunny’s toughness damage reduced from 15 to 10. (A standard basic attack deals 10 toughness damage.)
The bunny’s speed increased from 80 to 90.
The A2 major trace require 250% break effect → 200% break effect to reach the cap.
what is toughness damage reduce? so from 15 to 10 would it make her to useless? no right?
It is a tiny nerf to her break utility.
Lingsha’s toughness damage of ultimate, bunny * 2, skill, basic * 2 /w RM
V2: (20 + 15 * 2 + 10 + 10 * 2) * 1.5 = 120
V3: (20 + 10 * 2 + 10 + 10 * 2) * 1.5 = 105
Among these, 30 toughness damage are single target and 90 / 75 are AoE.
If the A6 trace is triggered at least once during the course:
V2: (20 + 15 * 3 + 10 + 10 * 2) * 1.5 = 142.5
V3: (20 + 10 * 3 + 10 + 10 * 2) * 1.5 = 120
Among these, 30 toughness damage are single target and 112.5 / 90 are AoE.
Gallagher’s toughness damage of ultimate, enhanced basic, basic * 3 /w RM
(10 + 30 + 10 * 3) * 1.7 = 119
Among these, 85 toughness damage are single target and 34 are AoE.
Also, Lingsha makes the most of Luocha’s signature. With Luocha’s signature, she deals much much more toughness damage per round.
Errata.
Gallagher’s toughness damage of ultimate, enhanced basic, basic * 3 /w RM
(20 + 30 + 10 * 3) * 1.7 = 136
Among these, 102 toughness damage are single target and 34 are AoE.
Well.. that definitely was a balance change
Sorry, the beta change budget went entirely to feixiao and her retainers
