n/a | Former Sword Champion of the Luofu, and the reason behind the Cloud Knights' mythical reputation of implacable might. Now, her name has been wiped from the records, and she is a traitor of the Xianzhou walking on the fine line between sanity and mara-struck. |
n/a | A sword, 3 feet and 7 inches in length, that weighs nothing. It was not forged from any ordinary iron, but condensed from a shaft of sharp ice. It glowed with a dim light, as if it were a sliver of moonlight held in the wielder's hand. "A sword, 3 feet and 7 inches in length, weighing about 7 catties. Hold it in your hand, and stab the sharp end towards the enemy." With a gentle flip of her hand, the woman in armor called her sword. As if alive, the sword lept out of the weapon rack, sliding into her grasp and out of its sheath in one fell swoop. The blade then stabbed into the air beside the girl, humming intently. "You got that yet? If so, go fight the most common war beasts the borisin use in their ground forces. Once you've killed ten Bloodshot War Wyverns, I'll consider your first lesson completed." She remained silent, her eyes darting left and right. This was her first time stepping out of the ward since being rescued, and the first time ever in her life she had touched a weapon known as a sword. "I have dismissed the healers and helpers. They won't come to you without my orders." "The calamity in Cangcheng left few survivors. I don't know what you've been through before the rescue arrived... But I don't want to see you wallow in past horrors like this for the rest of your life." "It's okay if you don't wanna talk. You can speak with this." "You can use this to vanquish the monsters that took everything from us. There are now few things as wondrous as this left in the world." The woman in armor remained composed, her gaze cast onto the long sword by the girl's side. The mirror-like blade showed her reflection. Then, a swarm of razor shards swirled up in a tempest, dragging the girl into her past — In the dimly lit sky, the demonic planet named Rahu was wailing and singing, hurling towards everyone with lands and mountains ablaze. On the streets, people were screaming, writhing and rolling in apocalyptic despair, as the golden tendrils sprouted and grew feverishly in every orifice of theirs. She watched everything unfold, paralyzed. Her organs felt like they were boiling. Something suddenly surged and churned in her Core Esse, like a ripe wheat grain about to burst out of its husk and swell to infinity. The mountains hurling towards her face made her realize, she was but a mayfly, about to perish at the mere flick of an Emanator's fingertip. In that split moment before death claimed her, she grabbed the only thread she could hang by. A sword, 3 feet and 7 inches in length, weighing about 7 catties. |
n/a | A sword, 6 feet and 5 inches in length, weighing This is a Cloud Knight greatsword that must be wielded with both hands. Its edge contains enchanted fire that can split open the mechabeast's inert armor at the moment of contact. There are She was still unfamiliar with the way of the sword. She still had lots to learn. The woman in armor had no time to teach her more before the woman was tasked with leading the army on the field. Therefore, the girl's second lesson is to be learned on the battlefield, taught by the enemies she would fall. "Stab" is easy, but swift monsters won't run into the sword's tip on their own or let the girl execute them. That is how she learned "slash." "Entangle" is next. Against monsters with overwhelming strength, the girl learned how to parry with the back of the sword to deflect enemy attacks. She believed she had learned enough of the sword and therefore leapt onto the mechabeast war pawn "Gigantes" that dwarfed her at least ten times over. She broke all the swords she brought with her and only managed to leave a few dozen cuts on the opponent's gigantic body. She was whacked away by an enormous hand. Lying in the blood-soaked mud of the battlefield, she was once again swallowed by horror. In that split moment before death claimed her, she finally understood that even the art of swordplay had its limits. An arrow filled with blazing fire blew off the Gigantes' head. "Get up." The woman in armor looked at her. "I don't want to learn the sword anymore. It's... useless." "Useless? It's pretty useful in my hands. It is the wielder who was useless." "..." "If you don't learn the sword, what do you want to learn? The alchemical arrows on the pilots' starskiffs? The blazing fire flung by divine crossbows? Or... The artillery of the Zhuming Xianzhou? Such instruments would also be enough to destroy that demonic planet. You want to learn about them? Fine. Those things can kill the enemy even from beyond visual range." "...I just don't understand why you insist on teaching me the sword!?" "From the general to the smallest pawn, every Cloud Knight starts by learning the sword. "The various constructs provided by the Artisanship Commission can certainly kill the enemy for you, but those deeds are to the merit of the material rather than the person. If there comes a day that the quivers run empty, that the starskiffs crash, that the aurumatons freeze — Who will protect you and I, then? Who will protect the Xianzhou? "Hold this sword. Remember, it would not be a true fight for humanity if Cloud Knights didn't wield swords and march onto the battlefield themselves. Rather than letting ingenia do the work for us, we will show our final victory to those inhuman abominations by our own blood and prowess!" The woman in armor turned and departed, leaving the girl and the broken sword in the training room. A sword, 2 feet and 1 inch in length, only its broken fragments remained. |
n/a | A sword, 5 feet in length, weighing as heavy as three thousand catties. The ebony blade shimmers with a sanguine sheen. The sword was forged from the nonstop tempering of extraterrestrial ores, a complete deviation from conventional weaponry. Untamed and unyielding, the sword mirrored the defiance and hubris of its short-life species creator. Once, she had only swords as her companions, but now she found herself with many friends. The day she was crowned as the Sword Champion, the craftsman attended the ceremony in a black garb and cast out the sword he bore. The sword sank deep into the ground, leaving only its hilt above the soil. All attendees were shocked. "Only the Sword Champion of the Luofu Cloud Knights can tap into the full potential of this sword I have crafted." He gave a toothy grin. The high elder of the Luofu, as haughty and detached as the high moon in the sky, felt an irresistible temptation to duel with her upon witnessing her peerless martial prowess with just one simple glance. The spear and the sword sparred for many years without a conclusion, until she cleaved ocean tides in twain with a single slash in the Dragonvista Rain Hall, and finally won the high elder's concession. A well-traveled Nameless who had flown across the cosmos had steered vessels for her, bringing divine nectar from the other side of the universe to share with her, and gazed upon the scintillating stars by her side. "I will cut down even the stars in the sky." She still vaguely remembers the boasts she made in moments of inebriation. That burning planet rushing towards her in childhood memories, that horrible nightmare that wouldn't let her go — those scenes are no longer so terrifying. This is the first time she understands what "wanting to live" means in all her years of wielding a sword. Before this moment, she was simply someone ready to die. And there was her student. She recalled the first time they met. This young but devious child had asked the same questions as she did. "Master, why do you insist on wielding a sword? There are thousands of weapons out there that can kill an enemy. If you want to destroy that planet, the Zhuming can probably do it with its artillery." "This is like asking a poet why they wrote poems. There are many ways to express oneself, but this is the only way for me." Now, he has also become a shining star amongst the Cloud Knights. She doesn't have a master anymore. The woman in armor perished on the battlefield and can instruct her no longer. Nor does she need a master anymore. She knows everything there is to know about swords. They are a part of her body. They are the intake and release of her breath as she walks and sleeps. People call her the Transcendent Flash, the pinnacle of swordmasters, a once-in-ten-millennia hero. However, she knows that her sword is still not enough to "cut down the star in the sky" — Even if she is holding the greatest sword in all the Xianzhou... A sword, 5 feet in length, weighing as heavy as three thousand catties. The ebony blade shimmers with a sanguine sheen. |
n/a | A sword, 5 feet in length, weighing as heavy as three thousand catties. The ebony blade is covered in cracks and the tip is broken and lost. Amid the countless wars, she wielded this sword and, alongside her comrades and disciple, battled her way into the vast ship, decapitating the wolf-like head of the borisin Warhead. She also climbed the sky-piercing flying citadel, clipping the wings of the Feather Guards. She fought the iron cavalry of the Houyhnhnm, sealing all the riders of the six-legged steeds into prison... Whichever way her sword swung, no abomination could escape death or imprisonment. She had never expected she would point this sword at her lifelong friend. She gasped, barely holding her wounded body together. Far away, deeper in the delve, there came the anguished roar of a dragon, as if pleading for death. She watched as the arrogant craftsman fell into the mud, and walked up to him like a wraith. "I should kill you first... but you will have your own torment to bear for all eternity..." She pointed the broken sword at the high elder. "Impossible. The Preceptors said... The blood of my race and the soul of my ancestor should have created another high elder. All this... It shouldn't be like this." "If your death can return everything to how it was, I would do it... But you need to tell me right now where that dragon's weak point is." "The top of its head..." The half-draconic abomination swam through the air in blasts of lightning. Its body, enough to swallow the very horizon, sundered yet another floating isle. Its wails were as loud as the clamors of a thousand clashing swords. She felt her Core Esse boiling, like a ripe wheat grain about to burst out of its husk and swell to infinity. She saw herself trapped in childhood nightmares again. The ominous planet is swallowing her overhead, and she, but an insect, cannot even struggle. The woman tore off a spread of black silk from the edge of her skirt and covered her eyes. The thunder struck. She leapt up with her sword towards the draconic abomination. In a dreamlike illusion, she felt her flesh surpass its limits, beginning to disintegrate. It was as if innumerable silken threads bound her, taut across every limb and bone, each one slicing through the last vestiges of her consciousness, bit by bit. Suddenly, she heard those words: "I will cut down even the stars in the sky." At that moment, she finally grasped the sword she had been seeking all this time. It was a sword that can transcend all restrictions. It was a sword she had been familiar with for years. It was not forged from any ordinary iron, but condensed from a shaft of sharp ice. It glowed with a dim light, as if it was a strand of moonlight held in the wielder's hand. A sword, 3 feet and 7 inches in length, and weighs nothing. |

what did they feed her?? such a damage buff. still got some kinks to work out (usability and harmony character choices got a bit funky) but christ, jingliu was not this monster a week ago. well, at least her talent now makes getting the rutilant arena crit requirement a lot easier, if that’s still one of her better planar ornament sets. see you all next week when hyv gives her some balancing nerfs
I like her design but I kinda regretted gettting Jing Yuan and it feels like she will be similar with the fact that her damage is backloaded…she does more dmg than Jing Yuan, but the backloaded damage playstyle doesnt feel that great to me.. she’s going to do meh damage when not in the buffed state until you get her ult back up..? Sort of like jY himself does w/e damage until lIGHTNING lord comes later… Only in the buffed state you start doing dmg for a couple rounds…but if one of those rounds you get CCed…then thats one less round in buffed state which feels bad
Pretty sure her amped state is, and only is, determined by the number of stacks she holds, so getting CCed, won’t decrease the number of attack you have under Transmigration.
The only problem now comes from her A6, that 20% ult damage only under amped state, that means that if you want to achieve max damage, you never ult when transmigration state is down, thus you should never use it to “enter” the amped state.
I think you guys are exaggerating her non-buffed state when it’s really just 1 turn. She uses skill once, yeah it does normal dps dmg to one target, her turns comes again, at this point you should’ve already buffed her and rebuffed enemies, you use skill again, 2 stacks, action immediately advanced forward and she gets her huge atk buff and new skill, use ult if u have it, than use another enhanced skill, and another if you have the syzygy stack from ult, then rinse and repeat, there’s really only one turn where she’s not doing much dmg, and that’s to be expected because her numbers are now busted. She’s danheng level during her transmigration state and even he has those times where he has no skill points or scales so you just auto, next turn is a huge nuke anyways so it doesn’t matter.
Tldr: If you’re playing her correctly you should have 1 turn doing little dmg, and 2-3 turns of doing massive dmg. It’s balanced out that way to make her fair, compared to Jingyuan who’s dmg is lacklustre for 2-3 turns, and then a big aoe attack.
I think these buffs have made her much harder to play now. Her advanced Forward is a problem as Jingliu cannot use skill -> talent -> enhanced skill under Bronya’s skill boost, which was her go-to combo before the update. Bronya must be played with more caution otherwise there is a serious risk of ruining the entire rotation. This becomes more problematic when you realize that Jingliu’s ult no longer applies to itself the buffed state… so it can’t be used to access the trasmigration state like before but that’s not the real problem. The thing is, her burst may not be charged in time before using the enhanced skill 2 times, which causes the talent boost to expire. The developers should have kept the extra turn, instead of the Ad.Fw., and the old Ultimate… but that might make Jingliu too broken, so I understand the idea behind it all.
one turn without Bronya buff is not the big deal you guys are making it out to be tbh, the dmg is still going to be good.
The site has outdated information:
*Now she gets a free 50% crit rate during Spectral Transmigration… (additional 100% free crit value, lets go)
*Her HP reduction has been reduced from 6% to 4%, and the benefit of consuming HP allies has been increased from 275% to 540% and buff Atk from 120% to 180%. (1.5 times less damage to allies and 1.5 times higher buff atk)
*Unfortunately, add turn from Skill has been replaced with 100% action advanced. This is bad for synergy with Harmonya-char.
*Its Ult is no longer considered a priori Spectral Transmigration – now it is better to press it during the amplified state.
*Changed its speed settings, added 10% advance with enhanced Skill.
*Completely redesigned LC.
*Very slightly increased E damage.
*Enhanced Eidolons, E3 is completely changed.
Is bronya still good on her? or is it better to go for a stringere sinergy?
*stronger
Wow, lots of changes for her in the V2
CR traces are now SPD traces, and Ice bonus are now CD Traces.
Not a huge fan of this one though, Ultimate now don’t consider her to be in her amped state, and A6 now increase ultimate damage by 20% while in transmigration state.
A4 is no longer a 10% SPD buff, it’s a 10% forward on next when using skill.
Entering transmigration state no longer count as extra turn, instead you gain 100% forward on next action and 50% CR (Which is huge combined with the change to her LC too).
The HP drain is now 4% instead of 6%, and the multiplier is now 540% (was 275%) capping at 180% of her base atk. (Was 120%)
E1 got buff from 60% to 80%, and changed from 12% CR to 24% CD.
E2 is now 80% more damage on next “attack” after ultimate.
E4 is adjusted due to the new drain value.
Some damage buff to her skill value too.
Now those are all huge buffs, damn
the ult got nerf sadge and her enhanced state takes longer (about 1 rotation) due to making 3 stacks
kinda wish they change the first trace into the previous ult consideration or if they going to keep the like this atleast make the stacks 2 only
Why though? Her enhanced state is her main source of damage. The longer it is, the better. Why make it shorter
they Changed her crit rate traces to crit damage
They changed her!
Now she has 4% of the HP of her teammates and increases the attack power by 540% of the absorbed HP. And her signa has become stronger and more versatile!
I have a strong blade flashbacks from her kit. Bronya dependence, need of non-atk supports (because of atk overcap in her passives), hp usage, three-target focus, destruction path. “hp usage is not a problem”, you say, but I don’t have luocha and… seriously? I need to pull for 5-star char providing nothing but healing or defence and tiny damage just to make my blade/jinglu work? I was CRITICALLY unsatisfied with blade and his tiny (comparing to Seele and newest IL) damage. And what is the reason to pull for jinglu if IL anyway deals much more damage? same path, same cones, maybe same comps, but jinglu is much harder to use because of dying allies? Maybe, elemental coverage? If so… WHY THE HECK SW even exists? yes, she can apply the right weakness not in any case, but her if you play her the right way, she makes literally any dps work on almost any enemy.
Her technique is super good for freezing everything in MoC, don’t think DHIL can run Jingliu Blade Bronya + 1 more flex with enough sp.
You should absolutely pull for 5* sustain support units, damage output is not the be all end all of a character
Put simply, your team isn’t doing damage if they’re CC’d or dead, Luocha and Fu Xuan keep your team alive and dispel/prevent debuffs
As for Blade he works with any healer, Luocha is just his best one, and now Lynx is set to be an amazing support healer for him too
Or even better, just pull the characters you like and enjoy the game
Oh my god… supports can barely change your gameplay, they just provide a bit more comfort and make things much easier in MOC. If a char don’t change your gameplay (or changes it just a bit) in your everyday life, it’s a bad character. I can understand pulling for SW because she makes any mode much easier, but I don’t understand why I should pull for luocha, who’s a good healer and nothing more (or Fu Xuan, who’s a defence and 10% crit rate and nothing more). It’s like pulling for kokomi in genshin, but HYW created a place for kokomi in freeze comp, Kokomi can buff 40%+20% atk easily. But answer on my question is clear. Cleaning MOC without premium healers is hard. It’s the worst way to make people to pull for bad concept chars, who do nothing but utility.
I’m not even sure anymore if you’re bad at trolling or just don’t understand the game
Luocha or Fu Xuan or Lynx are Counter Attack Enabler, keep Blade survive without using a shield. Counter attack only trigger when Blade suffer HP damage so cannot use shield.
Luocha is so good for AUTO play too which is the only way to play=not play this game, but you are right he is not any specialist.
Fu Xuan and Lynx are Max HP buffer, Blade and Jingliu are HP dependent, buffing Max HP=boosting DPS.
HuoHuo is a healer with team energy recharge for the whole team to spam ULT + a little bonus for Erudition units.
Hanabi or the 4star substitute replenish SP, enabling character like Dan Heng IL.
Ruan Mei increase the team’s Weakness Break efficiency.
If supports can’t change your gameplay, then so be it.
seriously, you rant so much. its your fault going for all damage. now its very clear how valuable healers are now in this game than SW. we will have more element DPS covering enemy weaknesses. and we might get double DPS in a team depending on how it goes. Loucha investment is crazy good since by just getting E1 already buffs your entire team 20% atk. and you already see how difficult the game can be. instead of getting angry then why not pull for him problem solved. we can pretty much clear the content without SW easily, but its hard to clear the content without someone like Loucha. see most Swarm Disaster clears. majority of them runs Loucha. you can pretty much compensate SW by having 2 harmony, or 1 harmony 1 nihility like Pela. but not Having Loucha is quite will give you difficulties. and its already a fact. its not always how fast you clear. but more important is how efficient you clear without retrying again and again. Get Fuxuan and have defensive characters. simply because you can clear everything in this game as long as you are alive. what’s the point of having damage if you can’t even survive that much?
Do you think Fu Xuan will be as good of a solo sustain as Luocha? I’m planning on getting her, I like her design better than his. I just want my team to not die lol, MoC 10 is so brutal I only have Natasha, March, and Pyro MC lmao.
It’s a turn based game. Enemies will always hit your characters unless interrupted by weakness break or cc… You NEED supports to keep your dps from dying while trying to kill stuff, have you never seen clips of Tingyun getting three shot?
lmao just don’t pull her if you don’t like her
why is she need of non-atk supports when her talent only affects her self-buff? and her dmg scaling isnt in HP too its in atk, the only HP scaling is her talent and its not just her own hp
If anything shes more like seele than blade
He worded it incorrectly because what he said isn’t quite wrong, since she’s an atk scaling with a massive %atk buff, stacking more %atk would result in a massive diminishing return.
It’s cuz of a concept called diminishing return. Basically, due to the game’s dmg formula, Jingliu gains a lot of atk probably enough to hit the 4.5k mark with proper investment. Now say you add tingyun’s measly 600 atk buff. See what I mean? Now add someone like Bronya’s dmg bonus on Jingliu and she’ll deal more dmg. If you play genshin, you’ll have heard of Hutao. We call her “HP scaling” even tho technically she scales of atk. She gets massive buffs to her atk from her hp. so she benefits of other stats like Crit Dmg, Elemental Dmg bonus and Resistance shred. It is the same case for Jingliu. She can easily boost her own atk so she requires other buffers like dmg% buffers(Tingyun’s Ult, Bronya’s E), Crit Dmg buffs(YK ult, Bronya ult) or Res/Def shred(SW/Pela). You want to balance ur stats out over different categories to balance out ur stacks
If you’re unsastified with Blade you either suck and building or you don’t understand why he’s so versatile. Well built Blades are only a little short of Seele’s single target dmg and he still has access to aoe. Get better.
hi, any team comps ideas for her please? i am f2p and i don’t have pela.
You will be able to get a free Pela in update 1.4.
