What’s the point of his trace, that gives atk tho? If he’s not E2, than he won’t deal much damage, cause he don’t crit, so I really do not get it.

Yeah, but I meant that he don’t have a crit buffs by himself or from lightcones. Of course you can build him as crit dps, and get something, but it won’t be really efective, because of how much he will need.

40% debuff is too little in modern hsr and he must have another way of realisation. He has huge atk buffs and theoretically can deal own damage, but remember, on E0 his passive damage is not counted as a dot, so no.
He will be a worthy useless gamer’s replacement in Acheron packs. And, of course, OP in PF because of fast stacking, etc, you know. he’s not as bad as Jade, but I don’t really think this character is worth it.
He’s adequate, nice, don’t seem cracked and is not a powercreep (I mean, he IS, but not direct, like Yunli.) I like him and hope he will be fine.
Is “increase dmg received” on enemy better than “dmg boost” on dps? Hit kit makes me think if he can substitute ruan mei, sparkle, or robin. I don’t have Acheron btw. I was hoping for a 5* burn unit but it sucks it is locked on Jiao’s E2.
Vulnerability is better because its rarer, there are more sources of DMG% in the game
DMG Received/Taken is a separate multiplier and an uncommon effect so it’s not heavily saturated which generally makes it better.
Then his E1 has straight up 48% more damage for everyone in the team? Isn’t it too strong tho?
Like Acheron has 60% same buff for herself with restriction for two nihility teammates.
His E1 seems stronger then any other E1 in the game, like Ruan Mei has E1 that is considered one of the strongest for supports, but it gives like 15-20% finall damage boost for the team… and here we are with about triple that…

Anyone wanna talk about if he synergizes with Guinaifen? She has fire dot detonation that adds vulnerability. If it detonates his stuff its a crazy synergy and even a replacement for Kafka in case you want 2 DOT teams right? Should be a really good F2P or even normal synergy with him.
His DMG doesn’t count as DoT except for his E2
this guy’s heal got deleted, his eids does not help acheron but turned him to dot, MASSIVE red flag to me, must skip or this is the end of my hsr life
So he just doesn’t heal anymore? Hoyoverse’s drip marketing even said he’s a healer and that on top of his appearance and having Mark Whitten being his VA were drawing me in. I’m gonna be bummed if they backtrack THAT badly.

E0S0 Jiaoqiu or E0S0 Silver Wolf?
SW technically has stronger debuffs if they’re all applied (even without the 20% Res from her Weakness Implant).
Jiaoqiu is content flexible while SW will forever be limited by her single target nature though.
His kit looks so boring. People call it strong, but he has so many all those ways to increase his atk only to scale off 150% atk scalings. He only makes use of that ATK with E2.
He has a big dmg vulnerability, and that’s his only strength. Very sad.
I do not understand how to look at Jiaoqiu’s Talent.
Is the initial 15% Debuff Stack 0. So we can add 5x 5% = 40% in Total?
or
Is the initial 15% Debuff Stack 1. So we can add 4x 5% = 35% in Total?
It’s the first one. 15% + 5% * stack count.
If you need any precedents for reference, Black Swan’s Arcana stacks works similarly: Base DMG + Stack DMG * stack count.
