n/a | An outworlder who ended up residing on the Xianzhou by accident. She is now a passionate and vivacious street performer. With her real name being Guinevere, Guinaifen is the Xianzhou name given to her by her good friend Sushang. Faced with a whole new life on the Luofu and relying on her adoration of Xianzhou culture, Guinaifen quickly learned skills that would keep her clothed and fed — such as slurping noodles in a handstand, smashing slabs without harming the people it was placed upon, catching bullets with bare hands, and so on. |
n/a | Hello~ Hello~ Can you hear me? Good evening fam! And welcome to Little Gui's stream~ Thank you BigFlowa_ As for today, just like what I wrote in the title of the stream, it's "Music night! Just testing the waters today~ If you like the stream, remember to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE! If you wanna send a gift or a super chat, you'll get to take part in the prize-draw for this stream! Thank you MilkyPowderdurdar for the super chat! "I love to watch everything you stream, Little Gui." Powderdurdar, you are the best! Don't you leave the stream until I'm done tonight! Mwah~! *cough*... Lemme adjust the audio... One two three one two three pray on a tree... Alright! Now for some vocal exercises! I wrote all the lyrics for the doggerel tonight! ... Long time no see, Aurum Alley glee. Changed so neat, what a feat! Streets got fame, beauty is the same. My neighbors be healthy, my friends be wealthy. Here I am, my kuaiban clang, please check out my new song slam. Gimme a cheer, and the coast gets clear. Toss me strales, and life never fails. No time for gods and monsters, no talk of Reignbow Arbiters. Only story here is the Little Gui, coming and going which way. ... |
n/a | As a child, Guinevere's entire world was the Lord Protector's mansion and the bustling streets before its doors. Her teachers said that her family has a long and distinguished history, and even this mansion has stood for a few Amber Eras. However, time did not seem to leave any traces on its stones. As if it stood apart from the rules of time and space, it forever protected this family in eternal peace and joy. Her father trained Guinevere's eldest brother, second-eldest brother, and eldest sister in politics. He wished to hand the future of this planet to one of the three. As for Guinevere and her younger siblings... He only wished they would have a quiet and happy life in this tranquil paradise. Guinevere loved her father. He was as terrifying as a ridge-tailed python when facing his political enemies. Yet in her presence, he softened and became warm and cozy, like a big fuzzy mountain hare. She remembered that her father would do anything for her. He would even willingly play the role of an earth spirit to be struck down by Guinevere, the heroine, at her birthday party. The birthday parties of upper-class children would often have the family's enemies turn up as well — However, her father didn't care at all about being a laughingstock for all the attendees. He was happy as long as she could be happy. Then, Guinevere grew up a bit. She started to hear rumors — How her father made the king a puppet, persecuted the honest courtiers, and gluttonously gained riches... She was willing to believe that all these were lies spread by his enemies. However, she knew not all of them were lies. Soon, however, these concerns ceased to matter. Everything changed when the Antimatter Legion attacked. Her father led the army to protect the royal capital, refusing to back down. Guinevere fainted when she heard the news of his death. She was already sitting inside a space shuttle when she woke up again. Her younger siblings were sobbing next to her, while her eldest brother and eldest sister were bound tightly in ropes. Her second-eldest brother said to her in a despondent tone, "Don't untie them just yet. They are still trying to go back." Guinevere looked outside the window. Her mother was dressed in armor and had her back turned to the space shuttle slowly lifting off, taking command of servants who were still willing to fight. Further away, the Voidrangers were tearing apart the Lord Protector's mansion. Even further, entire streets were on fire, with charred corpses scattered everywhere like heaps of soil. For little Guinevere, it was like her entire world had been erased from the cosmos. ... My home world, Court Camelot. My siblings, a dozen lot. Our days, peace and joy to boot. Until Ruin Author led woes afoot. Nation breached, arms they took. Legion marched, defiant we stood. We siblings escaped without a root, into an IPC mine all covered in soot. Meager scraps are what we fetch, homeless and foodless at a stretch. Eldest brother, timid once was. Back-breaking work, to piracy he was forced. Mercantile he waylaid, genteel he relayed. Hero among bandits, loots for people's benefits. Hundreds of poor he led, us siblings he fed. ... |
n/a | When Guinevere was young, her father always told her that humans should live with dignity. However, who could manage that on Hombert-σ? It was a barren planet. Primitive algae, fungi, and lichen maintained an atmosphere barely able to support animal life. Among the endemic species that stubbornly proliferated in that world, almost all of them existed as genuine threats to humanity. Had the Interastral Peace Corporation not discovered the mineral ores hidden in the heart of this planet, no humans would have wanted to move here anyways. Guinevere passed all of her teenage years on this poverty-stricken planet. She was good at making friends and was on good terms with the other kids. The son of the poor man, the daughter of the refugee, the brother of the gambler, or the sister of the murderer... Guinevere did not care about people's background. No matter what kind of families people are from, they were equally at risk of perishing before the arrival of tomorrow on this planet. The IPC didn't keep a tight eye on this place. Except for those with debts or criminal charges, the IPC didn't limit the workers' freedom as long as they paid their taxes. However, if they did pay their taxes, they might not have enough money left to even buy a drink at the town's bar. Her father was the most reliable backbone of the family back home. Now that both father and home were lost, the duty of looking after the family fell on the shoulders of the only senior in the group — the Stone-Wall Knight. Back when they had to flee their home, the mother sternly demanded that this loyal old knight escape with the children, while she stayed behind in their homeland to watch over the last speck of dust on their barren planet. The old knight was once her father's closest playmate, then her father's most courageous comrade in battle, then her father's most loyal servant. And now... he became another "father" for the children. Guinevere didn't manage to remember his real name even till the end. She was more familiar with the knight's other name — Uncle Stone-Wall. A dozen starving children made their dwindling finances even worse. After a night of arguments, Stone-Wall reluctantly agreed to have the three eldest children go to work in the mines with him. However, no matter how much Guinevere begged, he refused to let her go with them. Night after night passed. Stone-Wall grew old and withered. His lungs became full of incurable scars, and his spine no longer stood as tall as in years past. His hands, once able to swing a kinetic hammer majestically on the battlefield, have been deformed till he could no longer hold a spoon. Soon, he died. The stone wall fell. It fell before the dawn arrived, and it didn't make a single sound. It was like a sand castle receding as the tides swelled and fell, like the soft descent of winter's withered boughs in a breeze, like an ending doomed to arrive. Only a world of hoarfrost exists beyond the stone wall. Her elder brothers soon became interstellar pirates. Guinevere can fill her stomach again. However, she was also faintly aware that she had further strayed from her father's creed and embarked on a life even less respectable. Therefore, when the IPC's soldiers put cuffs on Guinevere and handed her over to the Cloud Knights together with her younger siblings, she breathed a long sigh of relief. People all claim the folks of the Xianzhou are very kind. She thought that the Cloud Knights would definitely allow her entire family to die together in dignity. ... Folly befell my brother's mind. A Xianzhou ship, his raid entwined Those of Xianzhou, just and upright. Thunder and storm, willed in their might. To Xianzhou, my brother offered compliance. For us siblings, he pleaded forbearance. Xianzhou knights, blessed with grace. Xianzhou fleet, we get to embrace. Our brother pardoned, our burdens lessened. To the school, our young'uns go. Teaching skills was my dear Ms. Yo. A future elsewhere, brother urged me to prepare. Gratitude to pay, I chose here to stay. In Aurum Alley I shine. Fame and fortune, I'm fine. ... |
n/a | "Sorry, sorry! I ran into someone who was injured, so I got here later than I thought — Ah. Little Gui, you're still singing? Then I'll shut up." "Yo! Shangshang is here! Fam, lemme introduce her to y'all. She's our surprise guest tonight! The Cloud Knights' genius newcomer — Ms. Sushang! C'mon fam, post in the chat 'welcome Ms. Sushang'~" "H—Hello everyone. I'm Sushang... Stop with the 'genius newcomer' thing! Don't make me seem more than what I am. My boss is gonna give me an earful if they hear about it." "Just gimme a sec here, Shangshang. My doggerel is just missing its last bit. You're here right on time since it's all about you~" ... Then a thug crossed my path, a timely heroine dealt with his wrath. You may ask, which heroine could it be? And I answer, Li Sushang, you see. Ever since then, I'm no longer alone. With a heroine like her, I have a much livelier tone. And I have fans in a throng, enjoying my awesome song. My fans whom I adore, always ask for more. But my story runs too long, I can't go on and on. Let's wrap it up for now, if you allow, I'll save it for another wow. ... "Nice! Nice! Let's all give it up for Little Gui, everyone! But... I don't quite remember this heroic feat?" "Mr. Xiyan told me that stories featuring damsel-in-distress scenarios are popular, hence my decision to write it this way. If it's not to your liking.... Thank you CatEmanator "Thank you so much! ...It doesn't matter how you write it! The stuff you do are all fun anyways." "Alrighty. Now that Shang-Shang is here, let's do the Show-Show! We can now finally present the duo skit we've been practicing for a long time~ Here, Shangshang, gimme the chordophone. I, Little Gui, is now gonna sing Teng Xiao Slaying the Serpent!" "This section isn't easy to perform." "True. Any expert here would know that Teng Xiao Slaying the Serpent has singing, music, and fight scenes. One person can't do it all." "And that is why I'm here! So how do you want to do this?" "Simple~ Today I'm gonna play the role of Teng Xiao, the previous Luofu general. I'll bring peace to the nation and all shall bow before my majesty." "And me?" "You'll play the serpent getting slain! Where are you going, puny snake? Eat~ My~ Sword~" "Ahh! It hurts... Guinaifen! I've had enough of you!" |

if you stack 3 burns does that mean you instantly get 3 impair stacks at once?
Probably, but why should you nerf your team comp just to stack her talent faster?
Apart from the normal tick on enemy turn you also get stacks from her ult, Kafkas ult and Kafkas skill, since they trigger the burn.
And her Technique is also pretty good to prematurely stack them.
the fastest, or the intended, way is probably 1) her applying it; 2) her proc with ult; and 3) kafka proc with her skill and ult.
So the fire set 4pc doesn’t seem amazing for her, what are people’s thoughts on her best set
I’m thinking she’ll be like Samp running 2pc atk 2pc fire dmg
Ideally yes, her “best” set will be the 2pc Firesmith + 2 pc Musketeer set / 2pc hackerspace set (if you need the spd)
Alternatively another equally strong set on her will be the 4pc Break set if you plan on using her against enemy weak to fire. This will also depend if you are running 2x DoT comp or 3x DoT comp. IF you are running 2x DoT comp it’ll only benefit your team damage if you build her for Break since one would assume you would bring her against enemies weak to fire. While Burn is the weakest Break DoT it still is tied with Physical for the strongest initial break burst damage and more importantly, Guin is able to blow up all Burn DoTs (including Break DoT) on her Ultimate. I’d say the only exception to this is if the enemy is also weak to another element that has a stronger Break DoT (like Windshear or Bleed) and you are running a 3x DoT comp, like Kafka/Sampo/Guin/Luocha, in which case build break on Sampo instead and build Guin with the 2pc+2pc set.
Also as a general statement: Since we do not have a dedicated DoT focused relic set yet, imo the Break Set will almost always be a top tier option for your DoT units… So long as they are breaking of course, lol. I can tell you for a fact my Break Effect Sampo has been putting in WORK in MoC10.
No! Why did she appear outside kafka’s banner! I cant get her cos i dont want to get either jingliu or topaz. Im already guaranteed… Hope she will be given for free or maybe becomes off rate in other dot banner.
you might get her on the standard banner after her banner
Alright V2 is here
her E2 now indicates it also enhances burn by 40% along with A6 trace 20% dmg bonus that is already 60% dmg bonus for burn(if thats how you calculate the dmg bonus increases)
hope her and topaz will be on the same banner
I can not see a single reason why she wouldn’t be, so here’s hoping
I want her for both my DoT team and a flex for mono fire with topaz
Our Fire unit that is DoT Focused has arrived! No more Hook or Himeko DoT Cope!!! Haha, I’m just messing around Himeko enjoyers…
But seriously this unit looks pretty solid! Her damage numbers appear low but in terms of DoT scaling she seems to be in line with the other DoT focused units, at least I think… I’m not positive on how Guinaifen’s A6 works and I’ve admittedly gotten wording wrong before (I generally try and correct this when possible) but the 20% increased damage to burned enemies *should* increase her DoT damage and if so, it should be hovering around Sampo’s DoT damage (not factoring Eidolons)…
I’m noticing Hoyo is now giving us DoT characters able to blow up their own DoT (and Break DoT) as part of their base kit, which is a VERY good thing. It was always weird to me that Sampo was gated out of this ability until E4… So yeah, as a DoT enjoyer, you love to see it! Speaking of, it seems she has 2nd highest scaling of DoT detonation (excluding Eidolons, or E6 Luka takes the cake easily) Part of me thinks that it’s high because she’s Fire element which has the weakest Break Dot. Speaking of Break, I think it’s pretty neat they gave her Break Effect in her Traces (Where is “Break Effect Enjoyer”? lol) and again, yes while Fire is the weakest DoT it still has the strongest (next to Physical) initial BREAK DMG proc before the DoT is applied so I mean, it’s something!
But yeah, initial thoughts: She looks fine. She looks like she’ll have little to NO trouble in keeping up “Fire Kiss” stacks, especially if you run Kafka. Speaking of Kafka, if you run Kafka DoT teams I would look at this unit as your “Extra DoT unit” you would rotate out depending on the enemies weakness, not something as a strict “replacement” for the other DoT focused units (Sampo/Luka)
Last thing… As someone who mainly runs a 3x DoT comp (Kafka, Sampo, Luka w/ Luocha as healer) I’m EXCITED to finally have a Fire DoT unit I can bring against fire weak enemies!
Is the E2 40% dmg bonus also apply to her DoT caused by her skill (since break dot will most likely not included here)?
TL;DR – No, I don’t think so, as it doesn’t specify DoT.
My reasoning for this is based on past characters (Sampo and Kafka) and the verbiage used in describing the eidolon. In Guin’s E2 it does not specify DoT damage increase so I don’t think we should assume that is part of her skill damage. DoT should be looked at as entirely separate category.
Sampo’s DoT damage number is tied to his talent. Kafka’s DoT damage number is tied to her ultimate and for Luka (just like Guin) DoT damage number is attached to their skill. But it does not mean DoT counts as Talent/Ultimate/Skill damage, it is it’s own thing.
Look at Sampo E6 and Kafka E6 for example, both of which increase DoT damage…
Sampo: https://hsr.honeyhunterworld.com/increased-spending-eidolon/?lang=EN
“Increased Spending: Talent’s Wind Shear DMG multiplier increases by 15%.”
Kafka: https://hsr.honeyhunterworld.com/leggiero-eidolon/?lang=EN
“Leggiero: The Shock inflicted on the enemy target by the Ultimate, the Technique, or the Talent-triggered follow-up attack has a DMG multiplier increase of 156% and lasts 1 turn(s) longer.”
Essentially her E2 should only make her Basic hit for 140% (at max level) and her Skill damage hit for 160%. It’s a decent Eidolon but there are some interesting strategies that can come from this. For example, you can just basic attack to keep up FireKiss stacks (A2 gives Basic 80% base chance to apply Burn) while also not sacrificing too much damage WHILE gaining skill points for your team. She can lean into being played more skill point positive, basically.
You really are the DoT-King
Tell me oh wise one, how do I make a good Kafka/Serval team? Serval at E6
Hm, well I don’t really know who you all have for teammate options but honestly just about anyone works with Kafka, that’s the good thing! There are arguably “BEST” teams and honestly, I wouldn’t consider Serval to be in that line up unless maybe you’re going against big enemies weak to lightning.
Serval’s strength to Kafka is that she can essentially keep Shock DoTs applied from all sources (including Break DoT) infinitely and at E6 you can get away with using basic attacks more if you need the skill points elsewhere, since she still gets damage and energy regeneration due to E1, E2 and E6. In this case I would build Serval for Spd (134 is a good goal to shoot for) > Crit = Atk% > Break Effect. If facing predominantly enemies weak to Lightning I would def advise for Break Effect more. Building more break on Serval gives your Kafka room to get other more desirable stats on her relics while still reaping the rewards of a high Break DoT that can be refreshed by Serval. If you have a good Break Effect Relic Set, I would use that over any other option currently based on this information.
I won’t really go over teams in-depth, as I mentioned I’m not sure what you all have but as I said before, Kafka works with a lot of units. I’d check out this guide here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1h1bUTfZ6O1cTLZE4MruICg__WtugojKRWpdolHwiODQ/edit#heading=h.mbjsiz6n6jlo
This guide goes more in-depth about team comps and builds for Kafka (Serval included) I’d just repeating quite a bit of what’s already written here.
Last thing and arguably most important thing: If you haven’t done so already, look into speed tuning your team for Kafka. This isn’t a Kafka/Serval specific thing but it’s optimal to have your Kafka fast enough to get multiple turns in a cycle (134 speed to achieve this) but also slow enough that they aren’t going first on your team. You get more damage and energy recharge this way. Although I should mention, If you are able to hit 160 speed on Kafka then it doesn’t matter nearly as much, since you’re so fast.
Hope that helps!
Maybe just mistranslation of her E2. In CN version, it is 40% increase on the dmg multiplier of the burn inflicted by basic atk and skill. We can wait for later correction.
Oh man, I hope you’re right! If that’s the case E2 arguably becomes her best talent besides E6! Heck I might even be tempted to try my luck and go for E2 if that’s the case (which is an awful idea for F2P, to pull for specific 4-star haha)
Her A6 should affect her DoT, basically the Burn version of Serval E6 and Hook E6. In the formula, these work just like extra Elemental Dmg.
wait for DoT king’s insights for this DoT character
Haha, a new DoT focused character? You already know I’m here looking! Cheers!
Imo the team for now is Kafka Sampo/Luka Asta Healer.
Asta gives speed and attack, making Kafka Luka/Sampo gain more atk% and faster/wear atk% shoes.
I only use Luka in MOC/weekly boss since he can only add one dot per skill, while Sampo can do a group, even his normal attack can add dots.
Guinaifen can provide basically same thing. Although her debuff is 9% less than Sampo’s on level 10, but it can last much longer. Also she can trigger burn damage with her ult which is great. Not to mention Asta can give 18% Fire damage bonus too.
absolute waste of a beautiful character because she’s Dot.
it sucks so much to be forced to pull and run Kafka just to enable characters like her and Sampo.
hopefuly at least with E2 she’ll be able to perform without the limited 3rd wheel
Goofy take. I can run Sampo and Luka together all the way up through MoC 10 without Kafka on the team even without buffs favorable to DoT. Sounds like a skill issue.
Sampo is the only DoT character who I’d say really relies on Kafka
Luka and Guinaifen can both detonate their own DoTs to an extent, and they both provide universal dmg vulnerability
Guinaifen seems good overall
Then again I have Kafka e1 and want Topaz too so she already fits perfectly into my pull list
She triggers her own DoTs. Kafka just carries her and any other DoT tier or tiers above they really are.
can’t wait for the 5star DoT dps
Guinai is like an inverse of Pela, so she seems prrtty viable and fluid on most teams. If you are running Pela on one team for the 30% Def Down, then you can easily run Guinai on another team for the 27% increase to damage dealt. Might she be optimal with Kafka? Sure, but that’s if your goal is to capitalize on DoT abuse. Otherwise, Guinai will work well with mono-fire teams or hypercarry/speed teams
Her multipliers are not the strongests but that has never stopped me before 🙂
Ok her E2 seems kinda busted.
Her E1 is the real busted one that early. E2 is just some multiplier on basic and skill (100 and 140% at lvl 10), not the dot itself (Else the wording is pretty bad)
the DoT should be considered as skill dmg since it came from the skill
No. DoT is DoT damage which is a separate category. Skill DMG is the blast part of the skill.
now i wonder if the skill burn is also aoe of the same chance of burning the adjacent targets as the targeted enemies since its says there “deals to a single enemy and to any adjacent with a %chance” if so this will bring her up to E2 Guinaifen > E0 Luka > E0 Sampo imo (but if all e0 then might depend to the enemy weekness?)
um…sorry, I was hacked
I… *Really* don’t think we’re going to get 40% increased damage to Guin’s DoT damage damage… That seems incredibly strong for and E2, like I don’t think you’ve seen other E2’s so far for 4 stars but that doesn’t seem it. I also would like to believe they would specifically say “This also applies to DoT” to let us know for sure because I’m actually willing to bet money that it just increase basic attack (100 to 140% at lvl 10) and skill damage to 160% from 120% at lvl 10.
I think the basic attack going to 140 is cool because she can maintain burns with basic attack with A2 and still okay damage while gaining a skill point for the team. I do think her E1>E2 currently tho.
Some alternative to a Kafka team it looks like, where the other two spots are currently only held by Sampo and Luka.
I wouldn’t replace Luka, he still has the strongest dot and added utility by being able to debuff.
She could be a good alternative for Sampo though. Funnily enough they got the exact same dmg multiplier on their dot, when adding her 20% multiplier from trace, but she will beat his dmg from ult and has a 100% uptime on her debuff, once fully stacked. And it’s all dmg, not just dots, although Sampos is stronger but has uptime issues. Sadly though, fire weakness break has by far the weakest dot.
In the end you should probably still build all characters and swap according to the enemy weakness.
I wouldn’t necessarily look at Guinaifen as a “replacement”… I mean you said it yourself in the end so I won’t really need go in on it but yeah she should be looked as your “rotating DoT” character in her most popular (and arguably best) team comp which is the 2x DoT (Kafka + DoT matching enemy weakness) team comp with support and healer.
I myself run a 3x DoT comp and she’ll be great for someone like me who doesn’t really run Asta for that Fire Weakness! Just more tools to use for Kafka I’d say!
