  1. From the future here, take note of this!

the best break team will be

    Firefly
    Ruan Mei
    Jiaoqiu
    Himeko

Those who have Himeko, start building her for break team now.

        • When it comes down to what Jiaoqiu might look like, Sett from League of Legends somehow comes into my mind. But judging from his abilities involving “flavour”, I think that he might be a chef or a street vendor selling street food; something along those lines.

Guess we’ll have to wait until the drip marketing shows up. I wonder who he’s gonna be voiced by 🤔

  2. I just noticed.

You really don’t need to level up basic attack and skill anymore. And to a certain extent, you don’t need to level up the talent anymore.

    Great savings lmao

  3. say So how does that e2 work? Does it have a one turn cooldown. Or can you trigger it every single turn? Like turn one, can trigger the bonus action. Turn two, it on cool down. Have to wait until turn three to trigger the bonus action again.

    • Turn 1:
Enhanced kill -> E2 triggers -> enhanced skill.
Gains a cooldown timer that lasts 1 turn. It does not tick down the turn it is applied.

      Turn 2:
      Enhanced skill.
The E2 does not trigger due to the presence of the cooldown timer.
The cooldown timer ticks down by 1 and expires.

      Turn 3:
Enhanced skill -> E2 triggers -> enhanced skill.
Gains a cooldown timer that lasts 1 turn. It does not tick down the turn it is applied.

    • My only gripe with it is the frequent Firefly cut ins. I actually really like the glowing butterfly thing. Very cool. But it’s ruined by nude firefly with every skill. Now it’s even worse cuz there’s like a mini hud thing with her but from a mecha standpoint I gotta give it to them it’s very fitting.

You only see this nude type of thing, when it has something to do with new types. Which tends to be very spiritual in that case. To show ah yes we have gone beyond physical limits. Not rule 34 time.

      • The recent animation update really turned down the cut-ins. The enhanced skill just shows her head now, and it flows and looks much better than before IMO. I feel like the live cam on the side could use some improvements, but overall I like the changes they made.

On the green SAM, I like it overall but I’m still waiting on some sort of lore reasoning as to why it exists. Dazz has some good guesses as to the overall theme, but we still haven’t seen her use it in game at any point, which makes me think she may not have it at this point in time. Either that or she’s had no reason to use her “full strength.”

    • I like it. The green SAM is very cool in my perspective.

The boss SAM represents the original purpose that she was made: a merciless flame throwing killing machine that she doesn’t identify herself to be. The greem SAM represents the resolution of Firefly herself, she denies her destiny of just a weapon and struggles to be herself, no matter how briefingly it was.

The naked pilot cut in is a common sight in Gundam series. Not only girls, but men, appear naked floating and talking in the space. This visual element represents telepathy between the transcended. Here, it serves to remind you that this unit represents Firefly and the hud made it feels like she is fighting with you side-by-side and staying in contact with you. Otherwise, you can only see the girl out of battle. Try imagine Jing Yuan / Clara would never appear during battle but instead Lightning Lord / Svarog takes his / her place.

      • I’m not saying the boss SAM is uncool. The boss SAM is very cool, too. I understand those who enjoy a mighty robot who fights with fire, punches, and kicks, more than a cute and valiant girl, are dissapointed by the fact that the boss SAM is just a persona of the said girl. However I enjoy both, if SAM and Firefly were two different characters I would have pulled for them both.

Unlike gundam, where they just enter a suit. I would say yeah calling the transformation magical girl fits. Given while it might be paying homeage to gundam/mecha series. It animation more like a transformation like a magical girl. Over someone entering a suit of armor.

  6. Firefly’s regular rotation takes place within this amount of AV:
    10000 / 70 ≈ 142.86 AV

If we are about to allow her a 5th enhanced skill during her uptime we might want the help of Asta and S5 DDD.

    ————————

If Asta’s ultimate (lv.12) was cast right after Firefly uses her first enhanced skill and S5 DDD included:
    (10000 / (210.64 + 52.8)) * 2.76 + (10000 / 210.64) ≈ 152.2 AV

Nah, not enough to do another enhanced skill.

If we give Firefly more speed:
    (10000 / (210.64 + X + 52.8)) * 2.76 + (10000 / (210.64 + X)) ≤ 10000 / 70
    X ≥ 16.06…

That means, with 16.1 or more speed from substats, cast Asta’s ultimate (lv.12) and trigger the S5 DDD is enough to allow Firefly an extra enhanced skill during her uptime.

    Conclusion:
    • Cast Asta’s ultimate (lv.12) with S5 DDD right after Firefly’s first enhanced skill after her ultimate and Firefly to have 16.1 or more extra speed from substats and she is able to do the 5th enhanced skill during her uptime. This is ~7 rolls on speed.

    • Asta’s ultimate (lv.12) + S5 DDD:
      (10000 / (210.64 + 52.8)) * 1.76 + (10000 / 210.64) * 2 ≈ 161.7 AV

If we give Firefly more speed:
      (10000 / (210.64 + X + 52.8)) * 1.76 + (10000 / (210.64 + X)) * 2 ≤ 10000 / 70
      X ≥ 30.42….

This outcome can be viewed as 30.5 speed from substats required. This is ~13.3 rolls on speed.

      Asta’s ultimate (lv.12) + S5 DDD * 2:
      (10000 / (210.64 + 52.8)) * 1.52 + (10000 / 210.64) * 2 ≈ 152.6 AV

If we give Firefly more speed:
      (10000 / (210.64 + X + 52.8)) * 1.52 + (10000 / (210.64 + X)) * 2 ≤ 10000 / 70
      X ≥ 15.62….

This outcome can be viewed as 15.7 speed from substats required. This is ~7 rolls on speed.

      ————————

      Asta’s ultimate (lv.12) + messenger set 4pc + S5 DDD:
      (10000 / (210.64 + 12.48 + 52.8)) * 0.76 + (10000 / (210.64 + 52.8)) + (10000 / 210.64) * 2 ≈ 160.4 AV

If we give Firefly more speed:
      (10000 / (210.64 + X + 12.48 + 52.8)) * 0.76 + (10000 / (210.64 + X + 52.8)) + (10000 / (210.64 + X)) * 2 ≤ 10000 / 70
      X ≥ 28.49….

This outcome can be viewed as 28.5 speed from substats required. This is ~12.4 rolls on speed.

      Asta’s ultimate (lv.12) + messenger set 4pc + S5 DDD * 2:
      (10000 / (210.64 + 12.48 + 52.8)) * 0.52 + (10000 / (210.64 + 52.8)) + (10000 / 210.64) * 2 ≈ 151.75 AV

If we give Firefly more speed:
      (10000 / (210.64 + X + 12.48 + 52.8)) * 0.52 + (10000 / (210.64 + X + 52.8)) + (10000 / (210.64 + X)) * 2 ≤ 10000 / 70
      X ≥ 14.26….

This outcome can be viewed as 14.3 speed from substats required. This is ~6.2 rolls on speed.

      • Amazing calculus. 30.5 SPD (~=13.3 roll) seems considerable.

But I have to say if you have extra copy of S5 DDD, activate it in the slower turn would make it a bit better.
For messenger 4pc it would be only 10.11 SPD (from 14.3). Without messenger would be 12.15 SPD (from 15.62).

If Ruan Mei is using messenger set with that extra copy of S5 DDD.
The least SPD requirements would be 6.93 SPD ?
        ((10000)/(210.64+12.48+x+52.8))*0.76+((10000)/(210.64+x+52.8))+((10000)/(210.64+12.48+x))*0.76+((10000)/(210.64+x)) ≤ 10000 / 70
        x ≥ 6.93…

Maybe we can equip HTB with the 3rd S5 DDD. It’s so crazy but… why not?
        Then we got:
        ((10000)/(210.64+12.48+x+52.8))*0.76+((10000)/(210.64+x+52.8))+((10000)/(210.64+12.48+x))*0.76+((10000)/(210.64+x))*0.76 ≤ 10000 / 70
        x ≥ -12.05…

        I hate DDD. 😡

      • For those like me who are poor, run 4-pc messenger on your Asta and add 1.2 speed to Dazz’s numbers per superimposition of Dance Dance Dance you are missing. So if you have S2, add 3×1.2=3.6 to 28.5 to get 32.1!

      • I cross-checked and it does roughly line up (I used the full decimal value of Spd boots though).

Asta DDD might be fine but RM and HTB would prefer other LCs so I didn’t bother checking for double DDD. I don’t think using Messenger on them is worth it either. I don’t think RM was made to provide a very specific AV boost through a deliberately-timed use of her Ult + Messenger + DDD. Is it just me?

I honestly think the problem here is SP so unless you have FF E1, don’t even bother.
We haven’t even gone on about any potential sync/desync issues from such a meticulous way of playing.

Let’s all just be satisfied with 210 Spd (bare minimum) or 225 Spd (allows a 3rd Enh.Skill during 0C).

  7. I know this may come off as a bit unprofessional, but nonetheless, it needs to be said.

I desperately want Firefly to sit on my face while she’s wearing those adorable panties. That is all.
