n/a | A member of the Masked Fools. Inscrutable and unscrupulous. A dangerous maestro of theatrics, utterly engrossed in the art of performance. Adorned with innumerable masks, she is the hero with a thousand faces. Wealth, status, power... None of those matters to Sparkle. The only thing that can get her attention is "amusement." |
n/a | The girl, an abandoned orphan, lived without knowledge of her origins or destination until she encountered a passing troupe. From a distance, she watched a black-haired lady with a double ponytail, gracefully moving across the stage like a fish. Despite donning various masks, they did not hinder her laughs and cries during her performance, captivating the audience even from afar. The fish leaped in front of her, then dove back down, creating ripples in the surface of the water. Gradually, she realized she was watching the performance from beneath the stage. Intrigued, she continued to watch the performances for countless days, but she remained an audience member, never stepping into the spotlight. After one of the shows ended, she went backstage, where the black-haired lady handed her a mask. "Can I perform, too?" "Why not? If others believe you are 'Sparkle,' then you are. Go, it's time for your show." As the curtain, serving as the fourth wall, was drawn, the stage remained dimly lit, revealing an unsettling black void. Though wearing a mask, she knew the audience could see and hear her. She kept recalling Sparkle's performance, imitating her movements, voice, and demeanor. "You've done very well for your first time." "But my imitation... Was not perfect." "That is a minor hiccup, but not a problem as long as nobody notices the difference... By the way, we are leaving tomorrow, so for as long as you want, you are the true Sparkle here, and you can make her whoever you want her to be." Sparkle wanted to say something, but the lady affectionately rubbed her head. "Not many people come to see us, except for you. We're just a small troupe, and we don't have grand aspirations of becoming famous in the cosmos... It brings me joy to meet someone like you who will remember an insignificant character named Sparkle... Don't cry, you can keep this mask. Now it's yours." Sparkle nodded. "When you don this mask, you have the power to become anyone and no one... If you truly aspire to be an actor, don't limit yourself to this small stage. Set your sights on the larger world and explore new horizons." |
n/a | As the last descendant of the Puppet Clan, the girl lacked the freedom to choose. She was bound to live her life according to the dictates of the mask, as puppets were mere vessels for the masks. According to their legend, the longer a puppet dons a mask, the higher the chances of the puppet acquiring a soul, resembling a true human. However, in human folklore, masks were depicted as tools used for resurrecting the deceased, thus leading to the dwindling numbers of her people. However, as she had no interest in becoming human, being a doll was not an unfavorable choice for her. She dutifully obeyed the commands of the mask, despite the risk of attracting pursuers, as defying the mask proved to be challenging. Movement was a crucial aspect. By the will of the mask, she needed to smile sweetly when happy, hold her forehead while crying, grit her teeth when angry, narrow her eyes when jealous, and make a scene when in despair. There were also signature gestures, such as raising her eyebrows slightly to face others with the left side of her face, and raising her hand to express love, although she had to lower it later, as slightly biting her lower lip was the way to convey her true desires. Voice was another aspect. Depending on the situation, her voice needed to be cheerful when happy, mellifluous when expressing lyrical emotions, calm and assertive when making statements, strained when harboring hatred, and sorrowful when filled with grief. Remarkably, she managed to sustain this way of life for years, seamlessly blending into her surroundings and even becoming a playwright. Nobody ever suspected that she wore a mask. However, she couldn't help but wonder if there existed another type of "mask" in the world — perhaps someone wearing such a mask would laugh when seeking revenge, shed tears when smiling, remain silent when raging... And speak the most sarcastic remarks with the utmost calmness. Naturally, she couldn't do this due to the will of the mask, but as a playwright, making her characters on stage act like this was easy for her. One morning, the doorbell rang, but it wasn't her usual delivery person at the door. "Dear Miss Sparkle, I wonder if we could have a chat?" "We have read your latest work, and we're curious if you know anything about the 'Mask'..." |
n/a | The faceless girl realized that she must be under some kind of curse. Why else couldn't she feel any stimuli? Her sense of pain, taste, and smell were all intact, yet she was unable to react to them. Naturally, she couldn't experience joy, anger, sadness, or a range of emotions. She could only strive to observe others' reactions in various situations to understand their feelings. "...How would you feel if you were drinking a cup of bitter tea? How would you drink it?" Although tied to the chair and immobilized, the homeless man on the left made an appreciative gesture and nodded. The girl in the middle immediately cried and shook her head in denial, while the madam on the right wrinkled her nose in disgust. "What if you were in an extremely cold hut, with only this cup of tea at hand?" Naturally, the man nodded. The girl cried for a while and then reluctantly accepted, while the lady still reacted in disgust. She continued to change her scenarios and ask questions day and night until her interviewees passed out. She would send them home and seek out new targets for her "interviews." During that time, the town's inhabitants all had the same nightmare. They found themselves trapped in a place where a blurred-faced young girl politely asked them questions, and they had no choice but to answer. They could only provide responses repeatedly until the young girl meticulously recorded every detail on paper masks, one after another. Whenever a mask was filled, it was replaced by another. This nightmare was soon replaced by another, as residents claimed to see paper masks flying through the air in the middle of the night. The masks would talk to each other, faintly glowing before eventually fading out, resembling sparklers in the night sky. They appeared every night, as if they were residents living in the shadow of the town. In a dark basement, a young lady remained unaware of this nightmare. She had gathered enough information about people's nuanced emotions and their perceptions of different things... To make more paper masks. She firmly believed that although she possessed no emotions, the masks she created had flesh and blood. She even believed that one day, they would become real beings. |
n/a | "There are a few versions that are particularly popular." When Sparkle arrived at Fool's Tavern, she admitted her deeds. "Liking and believing are two different things, but people are more likely to believe in their favorite stories." "Lies? Come on, I'm not trying to tell a grand story or fabricate an eye-catching experience... I'm wholeheartedly exercising my imagination for my own sake. I imagine various lives, seek excitement, and then recreate them as best I can, and pump the brakes on my imaginative balloon just a second before it bursts." "Seriously, having a script is far from enough. First and foremost, I must wholeheartedly believe that the character I'm portraying truly exists. Then, I need to imagine the other stories where the character would appear. I always need extra information to make their motivation logical and emotional." "And only then will I feel I can grasp the essence of the character without being influenced by others. After all, I might encounter other Fools, and I won't know what they want until I know who they are. Sometimes, you simply like the appearance of a character, and sometimes, you just want to experience it for fun. I do that sometimes, too." "And of course, there are those who play solely for the sake of gain or to be regarded in that way, hoping for unimaginable wealth, status, or power... Anyway, what I'm trying to convey is that in such an environment, who but myself can guarantee that I won't stray from my intended path and become a character in someone else's story? Nobody! That's why I have to tirelessly imagine and immerse myself in the act." "No, I'm not denying it... It's truly addictive to me. The more I imagine, the more I get absorbed in those characters, the wonderful and tragic situations I create for them, and the emotions they experience in those circumstances..." "Sure, I used to think about that kind of life... Joining a troupe, becoming an actor, traveling to unknown planets for performances, creating a character with my own name on it... But then, one day, I had a sudden realization!" "If you want to perform, is there a stage more captivating than your own life?" |

She totally beat Ruan Mei, at both hyper carry and dual DPS. whatever your endeavor may be. SP gain are just that omni potent.
With 110 Energy ULT, and both Skill and BA generating 30 energy she only needs 16.7% ER for 3 turn ult rotation. Which means that if you spam her E, then you consume 3 SP to cast ULT and generate 4 SP, which makes her SP positive support. (well, advanced forward DPS will also act and use skill more often, so not really)
Her Buffs are (E0, 200% CDMG, LVL 10 talents, no signature LC):
88% CDMG from skill to single ally
1 quantum character: Up to 23% DMG passive (53% with ULT up)
3 quantum characters: Up to 48% DMG passive (78% with ULT up)
5% CR from A6.
Bronya buffs for example:
76% DMG from skill to single ally (10% A6 Passive + 66% Skill)
ULT: 55% ATK and 52% CDMG
Of course their kits a bit different and not really directly comparable.
Sparkle don’t need extra ER from Lightcone, so she can use more offensive options compared to Bronya signature LC.
Sparkle Signature lightcore gives extra 10% CR, 24% CDMG for passive and extra 14.4% CDMG for skill buff.
The quantum char dmg buff only apply to Quantum dmg btw
skill with e0 = lv10 , not lv15
“+48% Dmg increase to teams when max stacks from Talent and Ult is up” – read carefully since stack apply for every allies individually, this bonus can be multiple by 4 times up to 192%. But this value will be hard to get since need to spend a lot of skill points.
That’s not how it works. The stacks are from talent that only belongs to Sparkle and can be 3 stacks maxi. The allies can increase those stacks, but the limit is still 3 as it counts for Sparkle only, not for each individually.
She totally defeat Ruan Mei. both at Hyper Carry and Dual DPS. whatever your endeavor may be, SP are just that omni potent.
Definitely gonna get buffed. Looks like on the weaker side. Get pumped because she will pop up more on the buff.
wtf shes already too strong ?
So her talent gives 22.5% damage buff and her ult increases each stack by 40% for a total of 142.5% and if you have E2 you get another 47.5% for a total of 190% + 12% def pen. That’s way too much…
Talent give 6% dmg per stack ( 18% 3 stacks )and Ult give each stack an additional 10% ( 30% 3 stacks ) for total 48% dmg increase at E0 bro, where is that 40% per stack coming from
Reread her ultimate, every ally with Cipher increases her talent dmg bonus by 10% per stack. 4 allies= 40% dmg bonus added on to each individual talent stack.
If it were like you mentioned they would have written it as “every ally with Cipher increases the talent dmg bonus by 10% per stack for all allies”.
It’s an individual buff off max 30% as every character has max 3 talent stacks.
Just apply common sense and use your critical thinking skills, you’d come to the realization that a 138% dmg increase in combination with her other buffs would powercreep every other unit in the game.
Her ultimate affects the whole team, including herself. The ult gives each ally an individual buff called Cipher. Each ally with Cipher will add 10% dmg bonus to Sparkle’s Talent dmg bonus, meaning at trace level 10, what would normally be 6% dmg bonus with a max limit of 3 stacks, would become 46% dmg bonus with a max limit of 3 stacks. Do you understand now? Its not hard to grasp.
Youre insane if you think 138% dmg increase is absurdly broken when Raun Mei gives about 90% dmg with her Sig LC and 25% All-Res pen too.
Try reading Sparkle’s kit slowly this time, her Talent stacks up to 3 times giving 6% dmg bonus at Trace lvl 10
Her Ult gives each ally a buff called Cipher, the buff adds 10% dmg bonus to each individual talent stack for EACH ally that has the buff. So if you have 4 units buffed with Cipher, that Talent stack goes from 6% to 46%, which can STACK up to 3 times. Considering this Cipher buff serves literally no other purpose than to add dmg bonus to her Talent outside of Eidolons, you’d be dumb to think it’d give a low dmg increase for a Limited 5* unit.
I guess we will have to wait for actual testers or release to clarify that, cause it feels too good to be true. I took it as every ally with Cipher will have the buff gain the ult increase of that value and not per ally stack increase
It says it gives 10% for each member PER stack. That’s 10% x 4 members.
6% dmg (18% 3 stacks) and ult gives 10% per member with the buff (40%) per stack (120% 3 stacks,.) for a total of 138%. With E 2 that would be 24% + 160% for a total of 184% damage buff.
I should clarify that this is where they got the 40% from. Nor that this is how it works. Easy to misinterpret.
Girl no, up your reading comprehension.
Her ult grants every ally a buff called “Cipher”. Every ally with “Cipher” enhances Sparkles DMG increase talent by 10% per stack, so 48%.
If it were team-wide they would have said “Every ally with Cipher will increase the Talents DMG buff by 10% for all allies per stack”.
Just use common sense smh, 184% dmg buff, 50% AA and potentially 100+cdmg + 5 cr is way out of scope for any unit and would powercreep every harmony unit.
Yea I noticed right after I posted and made a clarification. This is what I get for skimming.
Yea, but feel too good to be true. Bjt if it turns out like that then I am all for it
First Black swan boost DoT dmg by a crazy amount and NOW Sparkle here decided to be one of the best Quantum support. Who let Hoyo cook. This is insane!
Im a kafka main but i also main Seele as a second team. This is gonna be painful.
Same dilemma as you but I main Qingque and heck she’ll immensely get buffed with Sparkle. Idk how can I pull them both given how I lost most of my 50/50s 😢
I can always get Black swan later if I feel like playing Kafka more, right now I am more captivated with Sparkle design/animation than her kit xD
She totally beat Ruan Mei. be it hyper carry or multi dps team. SP are just that omnipotent, whatever your endeavor may be.
7 Skill Point!? That’s crazy!
Mono Quantum on top T.T
so she is going to be a better Bronya!?
in mono quantum teams shes gonna be so needed. dhil teams are gonna love her too
bruh this unit is busted. 110 energy cost??? oh my lord what were they thinking
Hmm don’t think so, but they both work differently. Bronya is probably still going to be best for hypercarry 1 SP use DPS, and Sparkle will be for character like DHIL or Qingque and will be a whole lot better in 3 Quantum team. If you already able to manage the SP then Bronya is better
Sparkle gives :
+48% Dmg increase to teams when max stacks from Talent and Ult is up
+36% CDMG plus 16% of her own cdmg to one char with Skill ( 200% CDMG mean additional 32% cdmg, total 68% cdmg increase )
+ 4 Skill point from Ult, but if you want to make use of the turn advance then she will have to use Skill every turn, and on average she will get Ult back with 3 Skill, so it is SP positive ( If I am not mistaken, 2 Skill use should make the same buffed char get another turn in the cycle as that char would get 100% turn advanced, but if this isn’t true then she will be even more SP positive )
+ Great Mono quantum dmg buffer, up to 30% extra Quantum damage increase for entire party
Bronya gives:
+76% Dmg increase to a single char plus an extra turn ( 10% from bonus node )
+55% ATK and 20% cdmg + 16% Bronya cdmg to party ( 200 cdmg will be 32%, total 52% cdmg increase )
-SP negative without fastya build ( Auto + Skill + Skill techinique ) or E1S1
Overall Bronya give far more dmg increase but eat SP plenty, Sparkle increase less but is like at 70%-80% of what Bronya can give with SP positive aspect and can be much better for Mono team.
also, you can both pair bronya + sparkle if you want more dmg buffs
You got one part about Sparkle’s skill wrong – it’s not “+36% CDMG plus 16% of her own cdmg”, it’s “+16% CDMG plus 36% of her own cdmg”, so that’s 88% total CDMG with 200% CDMG on Sparkle
Oh snap right, but yea that is a happy correction thanks
Definitely better for Follow-up characters, as her A4 trace makes the CDmg buff last until the start of her next turn, letting it benefit JY LL and Numby, which is pretty huge.
Her buffs are also very potent while being technically SP positive, since a 3 skill rotarion goes to +1SP after ult. You also have the ability to make her +3/5/7SP if you don’t use skill as much, making her very flexible in terms of teambuilding.
What the actual hell this girl is broken as hell TT Mono Quantum once again stay winning :DDDD
