what do you think the priority is? E1 or E0 + light cone?
Her signiature light cone is pretty underwhelming and there’s plenty of good nihility light cones (e.g the free 5* “solitary healing” which will be added to the herta store.)
In comparison her E1 increases your party’s DoT dmg to a single target by 30% (which benefits Sampo/Luka/Serval as well)
Both the light cone and the eidolon add some ehr requirement to Kafka which will make her slightly harder to build. Although Sampo’s 4* light cone eyes of the prey may be pretty good for an E1 kafka.
E1 definitely seems better overall. (In my opinion, correct me if I’m wrong.)
I don’t know as well. It’s really hard to quantify without systematic testing because there are a lot of factors to consider.
We are mostly using Nihility units with Kafka team. Thus, we would most likely use 3 Nihility Lightcones. For now the order of strength in terms of LC is S1 sig > s5 Goodnight > S5 “Herta” LC > others. If we don’t have sig, we go one tier lower in that order, which, invariably affects everyone. Sampo could downgrade to Fermata if he could have held an S5 Goodnight sleepwell, something like that.
And as for Kafka personally, the lightcone is better. only 6% shorter of DoT damage (30-24%) but 24% to everything else on top of higher base stats, an additional 60% shock Dot, and a potential to forego spd boots for an atk% boots.
Also, E1 bonus, unlike E2, is conditional. If the enemy was not hit by the follow up attack or if it did not proc, there will be no bonus.
Another extraneous thing to consider are your inventory.
What would you like, getting more Eidolons of the characters (Luka and Sampo) or getting lightcones and/or its Superimpositions (Eyes of Prey and the “Luka” one).
if u have good lcs on account, like “good night sleep well s5”, or sampos sig, u can choose e1, but, if u have only fermata, weapon banner can give u more for account.
So which set of relics and ornaments do you recommed? I’ve farming for 2 piece thief of shooting meteor for 16% break effect but I don´t know what would be better for the other 2 piece relics, the one that gives 10% lightning damage or the one that gives 12% ATK
Ideally you want to put her in a 4-piece set of Band of Sizzling Thunder. But since the 4-piece bonus of that set isn’t especially great and DoT characters don’t have their own specialized set, the field of choices is pretty wide open. You could do 2-piece Band 2-piece Musketeer and achieve a very similar result; use a 2 -piece of the new speed set if you’re trying to reach a certain speed threshold. And yeah Thief’s is probably ok too if you want to work around managing which characters are doing the breaking, it wouldn’t be my first choice, but it could work.
So yeah unless or until Hoyo adds some specialized DoT relic set, that’s what you have to work with.
Does anyone know if talent’s shock can stack with ulti’s shock?
Shock status coming from the same character can’t stack, so no.
the talent shock is from the ult’s shock so it might refresh the shock instead
What team concept will be better in the late stages of MoC?
1)Kafka+Sampo+Asta+ DEF slot (maybe Gepard with Galactic Market Trend)
Asta wears full speed set and buffs ATK with LC Chorus and Speed by her Ult, makes her action first with NA and triggers Kafka’s talent, after this goes Sampo with E and stacks windshear, after this goes Kafks with E, repeat and Kafka’s Ult after second E, 2 talents+ probably allies’ attacks
2)Kafka+Sampo+Luka+DEF
Sampo’s E+Luka’s E+Kafka’s E -> Sampo’s E+Luka’s enhanced NA+Kafka’s E
All unions wear Fleet of the Ageless i think it’s better than Space Sealing Station which gives personally 24% ATK while 4 units in FoA give one to another 8% ATK what in addition is 32% and a pleasant bonus of HP% for survivability
In kafka/sampo/luka rotation, i think sampo would be the one to use normal attack and not luka. Sampo can apply dot stacks with NA but luka cant… so you won’t be able to detonate bleed in your second rotation. I don’t know which of the two comps is better tho,
your def slot can NA also luka has an enhanced NA which is still considered NA.
you can NA on sampo if you have full wind shear stacks on all ennemies or if you don’t have c4 otherwise skill is better
Which would be better for Kafka?
Solitary healing s5 when that releases or Welt’s 5* lc (I don’t have good night)
And how would both of those compare to eyes of prey s1 for sampo?
Welt sign is garbage because its passive ability only enhances the skill without affecting the DoT. All it has is a little more than the basic atk.
Almost any lc will be better than Welt sign on Kafka.
It’s been shadow buffed in 1.2 along w/ other Dmg% sources, now the Dmg% part properly works w/ DoT even if it not mentioned, still not optimal tho since the EHR on skill is useless.
hey where did you hear this? that dmg% was shadow buffed to work with DoT I have been looking everywhere and can not find anything about it
Welt LC Dmg% now works on DoT thanks to shadow buff in 1.2.
Every LC with bonus to DOT will be good for her or other DOT units
Now we have 4 LC of this ability- GNSW, Welt’s LC, Sampo’s LC and Fermata
Soon we’ll get Kafka’s LC and SolitaryHealing
So u have choice how to distribute these LCs in dependence of what do u have on ur account
For example for Kafka her sugnature, GNSW(for maximizing damage of stacking DOTs from other DOT teammates) or Fermata
for Sampo his LC or Fermata
for Luca Sampo’s LC, Welt’s LC or maybe Resolution (if u haven’t previous variants) for reducing allies’ def
is “Before the tutorial mission starts” good on Kafka? I was planning on using that on Kafka, Luka’s light cone on Luka and Fermata on Sampo.
One of the weakest for her
Its actually really bad actually cuz she only needs 10-15% EHR to work (this info may be changed later) so so either use in the name of the world or her signature lightcone patience is all you need
if you don’t have high superimposition on luka’s LC it’s better if you put it on sampo instead since sampo’s wind shear has low base chance and you already build him with a ton of EHR
EHR is increasing the effect of any debuff base chance. DOT is considered to be a debuff in the game and as long as it’s not using a fixed chance it’ll be benefiting.
DOT is also a debuff applied by skill which has its alien atk modifier if you read the description carefully.
So all 3 stats benefits her. Though we could argue that it might not be as effective as speed since DOT team centers around Kafka taking turns.
Kafka wont need EHR, since she already has a 130% chance to apply shock, which only leaves certain bosses with a 10% resist chance, and that is easily remedied by stray stats on her equipment.
Even if you “only” have 130%, her dot is automatically applied every round and lasts for two. There is no way it will not always be active.
She get’s 18% EHR from her traces too. So she only needs like 10% EHR on her relics to guarantee application against even the most resistant enemies. Definitely not something you will need to seek out.
so basically shes just nihility DPS right? no special effect and else? just DOT shocked just like Serval?
She detonates all pending DOTs. Originally, DOTs deals damage only when enemy begins their turn. But with Kafka’s skill and Ult, she can detonate those DOTs to deal damage even before the enemy’s turn. Serval, just like all other characters with DOT, just waits for enemy to take their turns. She herself also has high DOT scaling, almost 3 times Serval’s.
she will be core to anything dot related. she can do additional procs of all dots on the enemy which is huge for dot teams. shes pretty much irreplaceable and even if they add another character than can proc dots u can just play them together lol
DoT enabler is the more specific term to call what she is.
Yes, she has high shock damage, but personal DoT isn’t her selling value. There will be a DoT specialist in the future, a 5star level of Sampo or Luka. It could be shock, wind sheer or bleed too, but it could also be burn.
Kafka is basically a DoT Detonator, for example, imagine fighting a boss with your team being kafka, smapo, luka and any healer.
You apply 5 stacks of wind shear with sampo and bleed with luka, now when kafka gets a turn and when you use her E skill you instanty cause the enemy to take DoT DMG worth 75% of the DoT’s Orignal DMG.
Now this might sound very boring because all the DoTs will automatically detonate when the turn ends but what use is it to detonate all those DoTs early?? Well there is a special thing about Kafka that when she Detonates the DoT *SHE DOESNT REMOVE THE DOT* Not even a single stack so when you use her E skill she detonates DoT without them being removed so the enemy will still take DMG from all the DoT at the end of turn which serval defo doesnt do and she got WAYYY higher numbers than that of serval
Hope this helps!!! :))
is welt’s light cone any good on her? i have it and it’s just gathering dust in my inventory rn
it’s okay. 24% global damage bonus plus 24% atk will benefit her. She won’t need that much effect hit rate but 18% effect hit rate is okay too.
how about fermata ?
Even s5 Fermata weaker than s1 Good Night.
only by 4% and if u dont take her breaking into account which depending on the situation could happen. gnsw is generally better but fermata isnt that much worse
keep in mind that the 24% atk and 18% EHR only applies to skill, so she won’t be benefitting at all from the EHR part since she doesn’t apply any debuff with her skill
There are better options, Fermata is a really good one but, if you have good night and sleep well s5 I would say is her top 2 best cone, because both give the effect to the dot damage.
In a Kafka and Luka team with a support, which is better Serval E6 or Sampo E0? In the case where Serval is better, what Eidolon would Sampo need to be to overtake her?
Hard to tell. E6 Serval with Jing Yuan’s LC with good relics can be a good stand alone AoE character which would also benefit from Luka’s shred and could also add a bit of shock. It also helps that she is erudition, which means she won’t take Kafka and Luke’s LCs and can equip the best erudition one for herself.
Overtaking her might not be on Sampo himself but with Kafka. If your Kafka is e2, you might want to focus on full on DoT team.
Sampo would be better because she probablly wont have a good synegry, maybe she will change the electro dot that kafka does.
the dots are from different sources so both of them will exist at the same time just like break shock, serval shock and SU shock(nihility path)
I believe sampo would be wayy better than E6 Serval due to the reason that sampo can apply wind shear whereas serval applies shock which kafka herself does apply so serval’s shock application doesnt even matter, if you wanna keep serval for the DMG sure you can make her an addition to your team but remember this with 5 – 7 stacks of wind shear would be DEADLY for the enemy when kafka detonated all the DoTs with her skill so i’d say go with sampo for sure rest is up to you brave soldier
Hope this helps :)))
