Honestly I’m pretty hopeful for Jade’s potential. She gets a free 25% ATK and 125% CDMG from her stacks, plus the new Herta shop LC gives her a SPD buff every turn since her basic attack is blast, meaning she can run ATK boots.
As a Sub-DPS she’ll be great, maybe even Blade’s best pairing. She’ll work with most (non-hunt) DPS units though, with her huge SPD buff, SP positive gameplay, and good DMG, she’s pretty flexible. The HP drain from her skill might mean you have to bring an abundance unit though.
From the gameplay I’ve seen, her extra charges for her FUA carry over, and as others have mentioned she has potential as a hypercarry when using her skill on herself as she gets 6 charges per turn. This means that on her 2nd turn, she’ll have 6 charges (as you’ll be using her skill on her 1st turn, but her 50% action advance trace helps with that) and on her 3rd turn you’ll get a FUA and have 2 charges left over for another FUA on her 4th turn. Then you skill again. There’s also charges from her ult which will speed up that rotation massively and buff her FUA.
Overall I’m excited for her! Plus her animations are great.

She REVIVES Blade. Her skill makes it so he gets stacks twice as fast AND since he’s destruction it totally means that he fixes her and lets her work outside of PF. She’s basically a harmony that deals damage. Oh what, you thought your ROBIN was special? Jade does that extra damage AND has a AoE. Your chicken girl could NEVER. Bronya who? Ruan Mei who? Jade is our new top support and you will all learn that soon enough and regret your words while you FUME as you decided to SKIP a queen.

I get that this post is kinda of a meme also wanna add that most showcases so far only show her as a subdps/2nd dps booster. But I feel everyone is sleeping on the fact if she buffs herself. she gains double stacks. even at e0 her basic atk (assuming there are atleast 3 enemies) gains 6 stacks & her ult ( assuming 5 enemies) gives 10 stacks towards her FUA. This would pretty much mean she gets at least 2 FUA per cycle(with 134+speed).
If QQ can be used in MOC, 100% jade can be used for MOC aswell. Probably AS as well since a lot of the bosses generally have a summoning skill but we’ll see.
She will probably be functional outside but she won’t be anything special. So for some that’s more than enough :3

Props to the Star Rail team to actually animate Jade to step directly on the camera. I remember Wanderer had this animation in the beta, but Genshin team changed the camera orientation later before the live version because they’re too afraid to trigger the normies.

I really hope she gets some changes to be at least useable in MoC SU or Apocolyptic Shadow (probably not AS). She does seem completely nuts in PF with the right teammate but it would be nice for her to be more versatile especially because she looks awesome and I would like more FuA action outside of the RRAT team (which dont get me wrong I love and have devoted my entire account to basically so far)
She can definitely work in SU as the Erudition path resonance pretty much gives Erudition units the thing they need most which is more damage to the main target.
I heard some showcases show she’s better than expected outside of PF but I dunno the details and builds of those showcases so take that with a grain of salt :3
For SU, she should be very good for Erudition, and since her damage is split between her basics and follow-ups, elation and propagation should be decent blessings but probably not for the main path as much.
Does Servals talent and E1 also count for the debt collector charges?

Servals E1: Deals damage to 1 randome enemy after her basic attack.

The Talent won’t count since it writes “Additional”. All Additional damage does not being considered as an attack.
The E1 may not count either even though it doesn’t writes “Additional”. Since it does not create a separate block on the Action Bar, typically this does not being considered as an attack.
with the talent i think you are right but i think the Extra damage from E1 deals also thouness damage so in mind its considert as Basic attack (as if the basic attack is convertet to a “half” blast attack)

Just need to add another comment like the one on Firefly’s page that’s like 10 paragraphs long. Who wants to volunteer to write an essay on Jade?
But in all seriousness, we still have only seen Jade in a flashback, with a few voicelines when she’s on call with other IPC members, compared to a lot of story time for Firefly, and we’ve known of Sam for a lot longer than that. Interaction time = interest for the majority of players. Also, mechs/mechsuits are just cool.
Add to that the fact that she’s a pure fiction-oriented version of Topaz, doing more follow-ups as you hit lots of enemies. People seem to care a lot less about PF than MoC. You hear a lot of talk about “0-cycle MoC clears” but almost none about getting 40k or 80k points in PF. Even after PF, people just don’t seem to care too much about erudition units, which are the very characters Jade needs in her team for ideal damage.

Which yeah that a good point, since we got to learn alot more about Aventurine before his release and he had the cool drip. While Jade. We don’t really know much about her and what little we do, is tied to Aventurine. The all or nothing man. So he not just a character with a cool design and drip. We know a fair bit about him.
Which given how many seem to love damage per screenshot, over dps. Even if two characters can deal out the same levels of damage, unleash they release in one big burst, many would just deem them as lesser even if on the same level. While pure fiction, it less about damage per screenshot and more about, being able to hit a large number foes and take them down quickly. Which is why some might not care for it. Since their big numbers to a single target, are not as impressive in a good mode meant to favor aoe.
I wonder if using her skill on Blade will make him get 2 stacks to his FUA every time he attacks.

I’d say it’s viable but would recommend using jade’s skill on herself in a team with clara as clara wants to be attacked rather than acting often.
Pairing jade with someone who has good aoe is most beneficial for her. Clara is an option but her entire gimmick is around counter attacks, and jade gives 30 speed :/
Can anyone tell me if E0 Himeko is better than a non E6 Xueyi?
And what about E0 Himeko compared to E6 Xueyi?
I want to run E6S1 Jade as the Main DPS, E0S1 Fu Xuan as Sustain (+ CR gain, etc.) and E1S1 Robin and am unsure if a E0S1 Himeko is going to be better than (my current E4) Xueyi.
Well you’re describing a pretty PF oriented team so I’d pick Himeko since she just hits more enemies
I would also go with Himeko. She only needs three stacks for her follow up attack, vs 8 for Xueyi. Of course it also possible you could fit both in the team. Depending on how much hp and defense your characters have. it will be more risky without sustain but the number of follow up attacks you can do, could possibly more than even it out. Since it can’t hurt you, if it dead.
