Story | With the final card revealed, despondency, rage, acceptance, and sangfroid… A cascade of emotions drops onto the faces of his opponents. “Now that we’re all here, why don’t we spice things up a bit?” He puts in all his chips. Those who have cut their losses leave the table, cursing profanities and secretly hoping that he would lose. Victories, reputation, fortune… He cares not for any of that. Instead, he’s enthralled only by those moments that make his very life quiver — After all, hell is but one choice away from heaven. The chips are cast, sorrow fills the air, and the illusory sense of satisfaction dissipates in an instant when the dust finally settles. “All or nothing, I have not the luxury of choice…” |

does this work for march?
Yes, I guess. The def% and vulnerability will work but the crit damage for the wearer is going to be wasted.
V4 changes:
This light cone’s debuff is now triggered each hit, not each attack. Meaning Aventurine’s multiple hitting FUA has a very high chance to apply the debuff even at 0 EHR.
WOOHOOO
Eyy nice. the only EHR I have is the base stats from relics, so I’m happy it’ll be enough
Yippee!!
Still deciding whether or not I’ll pull it, so I decided to do some math on it to compare it to the rumored F2P 2.1 LC (“Concert for Two”).
TL;DR: with his LC run a Crit Dmg% chest piece for a lot more damage (probably).
Aventurine needs a total of 4.000 Def to get his 48% Crit. Rate bonus from his A2 passive, so we’re trying to reach that in both cases.
At lvl 80 he has 654.88 base Def, gets 35% Def from traces, each main Def% peace gives 54% Def. Knight of Purity Palace set 2 piece gives 15% Def. His Signature Light Cone has 661.5 base Def and 40% Def at S1. Concert for Two has 463.5 base Def and 32% Def at S5.
Formula, excluding substats:
(base Def+ LC base Def) * (1 + Def% pc + Def% pc + Def% pc + set bonus + LC def% + Traces)
For F2P, we get:
(654.88+463.05)*(1+0.54+0.54+0.54+0.15+0.32+0.35)=3845,6792 Def
With his Sig LC:
(654.88+661.05)*(1+0.54+0.54+0.54+0.15+0.4+0.35)=4632,0736 Def
OR 3921.4714 if you swap a Def% chest piece for a Crit Dmg% chest piece.
Both Light Cones easily make the 4.000 Def goal achievable (with some Def% substats), but his Signature allows you to use a Crit Dmg% chest piece and still get close to 4.000 Def (without taking substats into account). Meaning that compared to “Concert for Two”, you could get up to a 104.8% Crit Dmg% increase with his Sig LC’s effect and a Crit Dmg% chest piece instead of a needing a Def% chest.
Now I haven’t calced the difference in damage this would have with “Concert for Two” 32% Dmg Bonus at S5, but it’s food for thought.
How much EHR do you need to guarantee this at S1?
66.67% or most people just round up to 67%
Oh jeez that’s more than I thought. Well, I’ll make do. I don’t think it’s a good idea to goo too much into EHR since I won’t be using Belobog.
is each hit a separate chance? a lot of things work that way, but not all of them.
and Aventurine’s follow up hits 7 times. split between enemies.
and he triggers his talent a lot. I wouldn’t worry too much.
Ya I’m starting to think so too. It’s like Dr. Ratio’s skill debuff. You just need it to hit once then the reduced effect res helps you reapply it. It’ll land eventually.
I don’t know the math behind EHR, I genuinely wonder if everyone saying 67% is taking into account that each hit of his follow up is likely to have 100% base chance seeing as it hits random targets.
Actually I looked at the formula just now and it does seem like everyone saying 67% is thinking that it’s just one lump hit for 100% base chance, despite it being a bounce/random target ability. The formula people are using to get to that conclusion is 1 = 1 * ( 1 + EHR )( 1 – .4 )
That formula assumes it’s only 1 times hit. In short, it /should/ require quite a bit less than 67% to guarantee it.
Embarrassingly, I don’t immediately know where in the equation to input Aventurine’s 7 hits.
To try to be clearer/emphasize, each individual hit of the followup attack will always need 67% to guarantee. However, if for example, you’re hitting a single target you no longer need to get to that 67% guaranteed point to guarantee it. I’ll try to find some good examples of what I mean if I have time.
I’m pretty sure Welt mains would be able to explain this better than I can and its something that Welt enjoyers take into account already.
I understood what you meant. More hits means more chances means eventually one of em will apply it right? I think so as well. I’m gonna use whatever EHR I roll but won’t actively chase it. Thank you nonetheless 😀
The math goes like this
100% base chance – 40% (highest effect res on enemies) = 60%
60 * 1.67 = 100%
This got bumped up +4% def? nice
Ey yo. I guess cuz his trace needs more DEF now, they boosted it
That’s a whole 52.6 def
Go go pink ranger! Mighty morphin dps March 7th!
is this good for fire MC dps or Concert of two
Fire MC doesn’t have a follow-up so CONCERT FOR two is better value for what it costs
I mixed up how this cone works
it’s good on fire mc but they won’t apply the debuff
Dps March let’s go!!
Does this LC effect count as a debuff? Dr Ration Stonks
It both helps Ratio and lets Aventurine use pioneer to full effect
I think yes, all effects like this count as debuff (i mean from LC)
It’s a great light Cone but only for Aventurine… or I guess a dmg build March…
I mean, arent all event light cone usually made SPECIFICALLY for the character they release along side of? Can they fit others? Sometimes but not as well as the person theyre *ahem* MADE for…
This is a 5* signature not an event LC
Yeah they’re usually made for their user ofc, but some (eg unreachable side or in the night) are also usable on other units quite well
how much ehr would aventurine need to always apply the debuff?
66.67%
66.67%
J wouldn’t recommend wasting stats on ehr
I’m not sure if the debuff applies once per FuA or has a chance on each of the 7 hits but it’s not worth losing dmg stats for the debuff
