Character Details | The head of the Xianzhou Luofu's Divination Commission and a confident, no-nonsense sage. Using her third eye and the Matrix of Prescience, Fu Xuan calculates the Xianzhou's navigational route and predicts the fortune of future events. She firmly believes that everything she does is the "best solution" for the situation. Fu Xuan is waiting for the general's promised "abdication." However, that day still seems... very far away. |
Character Story: Part I | Even after the stretch of many years, Fu Xuan would always think of the day she got permission to enter "the library" and ask her question. "What are you thinking about?" The blind elder wearing sunglasses awaited her response in silence, tilting his head and holding to his cane for support. "Do all those moments of choice hold predestined outcomes? Or is it that, if in that very instant, I could calculate with even greater precision, even by a fraction of a fraction, I could make the right choice and prevent them from leaving?" The girl's eyes were half-closed, and she spoke her question akin to an answer. "Across each and every moment, we stand at the center of a maze laid out by our own footprints." The old, blind man softly shifted his cane. "I cannot provide you with answers. I can only offer questions... and the perspective to see them. And whatever you have sought from me along the way, surely it is not an answer." "Then, grant me 'The Eye'. Regardless of whether fate has been predetermined from the start, as a diviner, I long to see with greater clarity." "As you wish. But the people of the Xianzhou are ageless in flesh. To accept my 'eye' means to bear timeless pain. Rather than a tool, it is more like an.... 'instrument of torture.'" "Aren't these the very words of the Wisdomwalker's creed? Knowledge exchanged with pain. I do not wish to make the same mistake in my future choices." ... In the stupor that followed the bestowal of her "eye," she witnessed a great many past happenings. She saw herself during childhood, sitting upright and diligent in her studies; her father tenderly brushing the point between her brows, proudly praising her intellect and wit; her elders revealing to her the Fu family's gloried history serving as the Xianzhou Yuque's stargazers. She saw the operations and rites conducted by diviners, divining the brilliant future for her where she would claim the throne of master diviner. "Is this my future?" "Isn't every morsel, every drop predestined?. This is your destiny. The divination results have been submitted to Master Diviner Jingtian, and he has agreed to personally supervise your tutelage. This is an immense fortune you have been blessed with." All the past is layered in the mists of probability, shifting on the edges of consciousness between dreams and reality, and extending forward into futures uncountable. She strove to find the day she became a diviner in the vastness of all moments. |
Character Story: Part II | On that day, Fu Xuan sought her master beneath the Cloudpeer Telescope of the Xianzhou Yuque, but found herself unable to believe that the man before her was the master diviner her elders had so reverently regarded. He wore a somewhat aged pilot's outfit and was unceremoniously seated on the ground, his attention dedicated entirely to the shifting of the interwoven light rays in the matrix. "Your humble student, Fu Xuan, comes bearing her respects, Master Diviner." Such were the words spoken by the girl after a period of hesitation. The man's gaze remained unwavering, as he simply raised a finger, beckoning her to look at the show. Fu Xuan noticed that his hand had, inexplicably, morphed into a wooden ingenium. "The Yuque's Echojade Fleet are currently laying out a defense at Thalassa in coordination with the Yaoqing's encirclement and eradication of abominations. You should have heard of this, yes? However, they are fated to lose this battle." "Huh? The Yaoqing is noted for its martial prowess and is rarely rivaled. According to intelligence, our forces outnumber and outmatch the borisin. How can victory be denied if an attack is commenced?" "Well asked. You don't seem like an apprentice that just accepts things." The man stood up and patted down his dust-coated sleeves. "A diviner knows fate without resigning to it. Treading through varied possibilities to find the best choice is indeed wise. But, sometimes, no matter how you choose, destiny will only grant you a single path forward. When the finalized divination presents you with only two outcomes, the bad and the worse, what will you choose?" "...Naturally, the choice should be the lesser of two evils. This is the first lesson of divination." "But what if it's humanly impossible to judge matters at hand?" The man turned. "This divination is gleaned from the newly arranged 'Deca-Light Reflection Barrier' matrix. There are two outcomes: To temporarily transfer the Heroncrest Fleet of the Xianzhou Yaoqing, or to draw from the manpower of the Ebonpearl Fleet of the Fanghu. Only one choice can be made. To use the Heroncrest Fleet means being able to press a strong offense for some time but losing any hope of victory thereafter. To use the Ebonpearl Fleet, we must endure the vast distances between us and the Fanghu and have the conflict drag on for six months. During this time, we must also withstand multiple counterattacks from the enemy, not to mention the losses that are certain to come. But should the defense hold until reinforcement arrives, then victory may well become possible." "They went with the first option, I presume?" "Correct. Divination can provide counsel and guidance, but only the general can make the final decision. He chose the path that would lead to the smallest loss. This didn't invalidate my divination, of course — defeat was the predetermined outcome." "The treatises on the art of war state that an advantage in numbers speaks favorably for initiating battle, and calling on the aid of Yaoqing's forces may not be the worst possible decision. Moreover, nothing is ever certain in this world. How can you be so sure, master diviner? How can you speak as if all have been predestined?" "Nothing is ever certain in this world?" The man sighed heavily. "I thought the same thing when the divination results appeared... I thought there must have been an error in the calculations. However, the results did not change after the re-analysis. I therefore resolved to head to the battlefield and seek evidence myself." "I had ventured deep into Thalassa the past few weeks, fought the abominations, and gained the trust of the local water dwellers. That was how I received a shocking piece of news: Within a month's time, a great tide known to the Thalassans as the 'Devil's Tide' — caused by the gravitational influence of their moon — will arrive." "None will be able to keep fighting the abominations in such abyssal conditions without the help from the Fanghu Vidyadhara's cloudhymn magi. This piece of intel does not exist on any guide, nor is it recorded in our army's data bank. Only that, in order to validate my results in a moment of superfluous effort, I gave my hand as the price." The man smiled bitterly and lifted his wooden hand in a wave. "Sometimes there is only ever one path in destiny. Everything is predetermined." "By the way, you don't need to address me as master diviner. You should call me 'Teacher' from today onward." |
Character Story: Part III | She spent the happiest time in her life studying in the Yuque's Divination Commission. She learned about predestination versus free-will, about matrix calculations versus human choices... The girl recalled she was always arguing with her teacher on every issue regarding divination and fortune-telling. Those were not aggressive confrontations with sharp words, but heated discussions between peers. And yet, though the two agreed on many topics, there was one issue they could not come to a consensus — Nous had granted divine volumes outlining the matrix calculations to the Xianzhou centuries ago. The Xianzhou Yuque's Divination Commission had pored over them to interpret and manifest the wisdom within, ultimately constructing the best divination matrix in the entire Alliance. Thought this is a point of pride for Yuque's diviners, Fu Xuan felt it was nothing short of culling the future possibilities of the Xianzhou people within the narrow path set out by the matrix. When people believe that the predictions of the matrix will always come to pass, then "choice" became an empty concept only for show. The diviners have unwillingly become prisoners of the matrix. They head to work when the hour is fortuitous, and stay home when the hour is ominous. What they do, what they avoid doing — everything was in accordance with the divination results. "If the matrix tells me that I will die tomorrow, does that mean I should just hurry up and end myself? At that point, what is the difference between performing a divination and not performing one?" "The difference is that we know we walk on the ordained path set by the heavens. That is the supreme path sought by Grandmaster Xuan Yao, who initiated the Divination Commission system." "All the diviner has to do is to faithfully believe and obediently follow the guidance of the matrix, and make one choice after another in that way — even though those choices may be ludicrous, incomprehensible, or difficult. All such efforts will ultimately lead the Xianzhou to the great work that it has been seeking throughout its existence — that of eradicating the Plagues Author and rid the world of the agony of Abundance." The man's expression was as placid and calm as an enlightened disciple who had received divine revelation. He looked at Fu Xuan and continued, "just like how I chose to take you in as my student after knowing about your predetermined future." It wasn't for my talents? And it wasn't for my well-connected family? It was just to fulfill some prediction? This... this was absurd! Rage took over Fu Xuan, and she was at a loss for words. "Did I ever tell you that after I consulted the Deca-Light Reflection Barrier and interpreted the hexagram, I now firmly believe that my life will end in your hands? However, I still took you in as my student. I'm waiting for you to take over my position and become the Xianzhou Yuque's master diviner, because it has all been predetermined." Predetermined? His life will end in my hands? He was talking as if the Xianzhou was still in the Three Sufferings Era! As if she was a treacherous disciple who craved the seat of the master diviner so much, that she would even kill her teacher for it! Her teacher was a scoundrel! "And I... I will never let that prediction come to pass!" The girl admired everything about her master as a diviner — his intelligence, skills, and integrity. However, she could not accept how he willingly sank into the blinding abyss of fatalism and regarded it as an acceptable way of life, despite being a diviner who could peek into destiny. Therefore, Fu Xuan ran away from the Xianzhou Yuque despite her family's dissuasion and the hurdles she had to cross. She ran away like a self-exiled escapee, plunging into the Luofu's Divination Commission with its more unrestricted culture and devoted herself to calculations. Not only did she want to part from the Xianzhou Yuque, she also wanted to prove with her own hands that her teacher's prediction was nothing but his own ludicrous delusions. |
Character Story: Part IV | Centuries passed thus, and the flames of war descended again. Diviner Fu Xuan calculated ceaselessly at her job. The grand armies of the Denizens of Abundance formed for the third time and launched a surprise attack on the Xianzhou Fanghu. The Yuque and the Luofu were close to the Fanghu, and it was their duty to give assistance. The divination revealed that all Xianzhou armies will meet a devastating defeat if they choose to face the assault head-on — however, should they keep up a defense, then there will be a chance to change the tides of battle. What a pity that the hexagram did not reveal how this chance will come about! Fu Xuan calculated and divined over and over again, yet the results given by the Matrix of Prescience never changed. "No one will choose defeat." This was the limit of a diviner's capacities. Fu Xuan outlined the pros and cons in writing and submitted the divination results to the Seat of Divine Foresight. However, as she expected, the outcome of the meeting between the Arbiter-Generals concluded that they must not take on a defensive position, not when such overwhelming numbers of the Abundance Axis were assaulting the Fanghu. The Cloud Knights of the Luofu and the Yuque must rise to face the enemy, buying time before the Yaoqing's army can arrive. On that day, Fu Xuan bore witness through the Projection Sandpit to the Alliance's army being decimated. Not only did the borisin bring fleets and mechabeasts numerous enough to block out the sky, they even summoned the incarnosphere Ketu Mirage from ancient legends. This evil gravitated toward the Fanghu, hellbent on bringing annihilation to all lives onboard, recreating the tragedy of the fall of the Xianzhou Cangcheng. And the only thing people could do was watch as it neared. Was this truly the limit of a diviner's capacities!? A bold idea surfaced in Fu Xuan's mind as she drowned in anxiety and anger. "I must see General Jing Yuan!" The girl spoke her thoughts when brought face-to-face with the general. It was no longer possible to obtain victory with the forces available to the Cloud Knights. The only chance of victory lies in making the Reignbow manifest themselves. She was not expecting the tired-looking man before her to simply nod after hearing her absurd and borderline blasphemous idea. The general did not even show any hints of ridicule. "How would you want to do it?" "The Xianzhou Yuque holds the Cloudpeer Telescope, the ultimate astronomical observation device in the Alliance. Not only can it scry into the distance, it can also be used to send out information... I plan to ship the Cloudpeer Telescope to the Fanghu using a Navis Astriger, and send out an SOS signal to the last observed location of the Reignbow's Lux Arrow. If we hurry, we still have a chance to turn everything around before that living planet falls." "I trust that you are... well aware of the singular sign of the Reignbow's descent onto the physical plane and its consequences, correct?" "Yes. As the person who voiced this plan, I am willing to be on the front lines and execute it." The girl's expression was solemn. She was keenly aware of how unorthodox her idea was. "I thank you for your words, but the Six Charioteers should work together to combat such a great crisis. Moreover, you do not have the permission to manipulate that device. Should this plan go awry, I will take all responsibility as the one who made the suggestion. Do not trouble yourself over this, Miss Fu." As Fu Xuan watched the general's retreating figure, she suddenly realized what he meant by "the Six Charioteers should work together" — the only person who has the permission to use the Cloudpeer Telescope and can send out a signal in the format of the Reignbow's decree... ...was none other than the Yuque's Master Diviner. ... "Is this why you seek "The Eye"? I saw your dreams..." The girl did not open her eyes, yet she could already see the world around her condense into solid form from nebulous mist, see all possibilities fade and leave behind the solitary, absolute, and faultless "choice." "Those are not dreams. They are my past. They made me who I am." "And he was right all this time. There is only ever one path in destiny." |

I have huo huo, loucha, gepard as healers/defense
bronya as buffers.
jingliu, dr.ratio, blade, clara in dps.
will get acheron as she is guaranteed.
so keeping all that in mind which character should I pursue for e0 with no lightcone :-
fu xuan and aventurine? I don’t really care about moc. so tell me your views on which character should be fun to play with?
Aventurine is going to be like Gepard but use his skill to create shields on demand. Which start of weak but can become stronger.
Which Aventurine is going to be more suitable for low damage aoe fights. To trigger his follow up attack. while being a bit more heavy on the skill point side of things. How many skills point he will end up using. hard to say. He does seem like he will be more of a hybrid. of shields and dps. Which given he is not release. It hard to really say for sure about anything about him. Given there is always a chance his kit might get change before released. Which given he is a shielder. He should work about as well as Gepard when it come to Jingliu, aka you might want a healer over a shielder due to the hp drain.
Fu xuan. Will be better for more single target fights. Which we do know she is skill point positive. By one, unless you need to recast her skill early. Which she does buff up crit rate for your whole party. Which can be very nice. To ensure you land big damage. Which she does have a fair number of lone cones she can make use of. Be they from standard banner, from doing sim universe or just four star lightcone you got. Now to get her ultimate back up every three turns. You will need a energy rope, without her sig light cone. She is very usable at e0. Which her best relics are 2 piece Longevous Disciple for health bonus and Guard of Wuthering Snow for damage reduction. Which given one of these domains is also the same place that drops the Hacker space set. You can farm relics for both her and other supports at the same time. Now as for your dps. She should be able to work well with your current set of dps. In the case of Clara, she might benefit more from Lynx or March 7th, due to their skills helping to make the enemy focus on her. Given Clara wants to be hit.
Now if you wait around for a third rerun. Fu Xuan sig lightcone, is nice. For it allows you the freedom to no longer need a energy recharge rope. To get her ultimate back every three times. Her first e1 is very nice, 30 crit damage to go along with crit rate? Indeed very useful. Outside of that, her remaining extra copies are debatable in terms of usefulness.
great insight, thnks
I think there are some rumors she might be rerun in 2.1?
So for premium sustain should you get her or Aventurine?
Based on my understanding, she is good for mitigating intense single target dmg whereas Aven is better against AOE barrages.
Also I wonder if 100% cc resistance on skill once is better than natural 50% effect res…
Both look pretty viable with upsides and downsides to their kits
Well it seems like they will be better for different cases. Aven for low damage aoe targets. Fu xuan for single target foes.
Which as for cc resistance. well 100% means the first cc will always be blocked. While having only 50% effect resist. Does make it a coin flip, better than nothing but there is still a chance the foe can cast something bad on you.
So if you put Aven against a boss that love to deal high single target damage. That could force him to eat up alot of skills points. To keep their shields active. While Fu xuan would love that fight. Given she can tank that easy. While low aoe damage, would favor Aven more. To perform his follow up attack. Which both of them have rather good e1 as well. That help benefit the party with more crit damage. In the case of Fu Xuan. Crit rate and crit damage at e1 is very nice. Yeah just going by their current kits. It seems very much depends on the fight. Both will be good, it all depends on what your fighting.
Please rerun soon Diviner Fu. My second team for MoC and PF always got destroyed. Wasted a lot of resources to Natasha and Lynx but still their healing can’t keep up T_T
Soon it will be four months since she been gone. Looking to be at least 5, going by how long 2.0 is going to take. If not longer. Depending on 2.1 reruns.
Seems like she might be right around the corner. in 2.1. If rumors are true.
This character is no joke. I got 30 stars in MoC and beat Swarm difficulty V multiple times because of her. Highly recommended to pull.
So I’ve just finished the highest Swarm Disaster diffuculty with Fu Xuan solo sustain (Party: DH-Yukong-Tingyun-Fu Xuan) and I wasn’t even close to losing. Went the destruction path and as long as you have the card that heals you when attacked below 35% HP you are golden. At the last boss I was even at 3 alarm, which means they did 15% more dmg.
Funnily enough I messed up during the last phase of the endboss and forgot to renew my skill, which resulted in the death of all party members except her when the boss was at 80% HP. Fu Xuan solo killed the rest of the stage while tanking multiple fully charged swarm attacks. She is so freaking broken.
I did Mono quant on Nahility despite having no DoT moves. FX tanking everything so my team didn’t die. Did it first try.
Ok I built her out, use Landau’s choice lightcone, Tested on All MOC 1-10
trace lv 5/8/8/8
build 1 Full tank : disciple 2 + Guard 2 : energy rope , everything else HP%
result : She’s ALMOST enough as a solo sustain on floor 10.
meaning: I can full star but i have to do a few retries depending on luck.
If she wasn’t hit enough to generate energy and other unit get too low to be bring back up, other unit could die first.
But I can feel her to be VERY CLOSE to solo sustain. I might just need better sub-stats and high superstition lightcone and max her traces.
I wouldn’t be surprise if you can solo sustain if your team deal dmg fast enough or have enough HP on them.
Might also be better to bring tank dps like clara to share her dmg while dishing out as well.
build 2 full dmg : genius star 4 : Crit dmg + HP% and Quantum dmg bonus (I tried it because i have left over pieces from Selee)
result : Can’t solo sustain (duh) so I had to bring fire MC(DPS build) … Turns out these two combined are just enough to sustain and deal enough dmg for floor 10 in 1 try.
I also tried her with other sustain but build as DPS (Lynx and Natasha) Also full star in 1 try.
meaning : You can sort of bringing 2 sustain units that are built as DPS for safety and deal good dmg. It’s kinda weird I admit but hey sometime stupid solution works.
for both builds Floor 1-9 are no problem. she can solo sustain. the only floor cutting close is floor 10.
this might change with new MOC blessing of course.
Overall a very good Unit. finally get full star all floor with her. before i just can’t because i don’t have enough sustain. So if that’s what you lack then she’s a great choice.
Be noted that she you have to play her well. Be sure to keep track of her skill duration.
final score 9/10 score if don’t have enough sustain.
10/10 if you can do mono quantum.
Hope you wanter win 50/50, bless you.
My thought after trying her on MoC 10, have her at e6s1 but tried her at various phase before unlocking eidolons :
Full Genius without E6 and her LC is pure masochism, because without her LC the full offensive build just fall apart, not by much, but enough to get you kill, and you lose damage in the process because you have to bring another sustain unit.
Running an even worse offensive build with Genius/Salsotto, with E6, I did 500k in full AoE against Yanqing MoC 10, without having any issue surviving, but, I wouldn’t have survive without the LC passive, it enables her so much, it’s unreal. (The 2 horse knights put me around 60% for Fu, after talent proc, and around 80% for the rest.)
Tried running a 2pc Hp set 2pc 8% dmg red set with Herta LC S5 e0, this is actually the best sustain combo you can have, damn she’s tanky, you don’t do crazy damage but you can stand your ground 5-6 more turns compare to the full offensive one.
Not even gonna talk about the result with e1, you clear even faster that’s all.
Never proc’d e2 for now (had death scenario under CC and matrix ran out at the same time.)
e4 is the second really good breakpoint, in AoE scenario, this is easy 15 energy without counting what she gained from getting hit herself, so, more ult, more sustain, more damage.
Anyway, a really good unit, her eidolons kinda bottleneck her to go full sustain without them, for the LC, it’s even worse, you can’t even deviate from the full defense path without it.
I can’t agree on your “almost” being able to single sustain. I just finished all floors and wasn’t even close to dying. Though I also had 21 turns left, from the required 14.
She is at E0 and equipped with Moment of Victory, at 7k HP, 2.3k def and 25 speed. I was pretty lucky with my substats, but having only 2 piece setbonuses helps. She even tanked Yanquings charged attack like its nothing and my lowest party member was at 60-70%.
Broken as expected, as long as you dont pitch her against massive DOT enemies.
Yeah i don’t doubt that at all. I was cutting close with floor 10. My dpss probably didn’t do enough dmg and my silverwolf keep getting stab and killed so i had to retry a bit.
I’ve seen a few people barely do it. When i did it though i still had 2 procs of her talent to go and had plenty of health left. Then again my Seele did finish it in just 2 turns.
Yeah same. 1-9 solo, on 10th floor had to bring Gepard along. But even with 6500 HP, Landau and 8/8/8 traces she’s quite strong. Also cleared 10 floors first time. Worth to pool.
It’s super hard to judge anything you wrote because of the low amount of info you provide for the build you have. But then having 9/10 score from what you wrote is giving a nice objective 10/10 for Fu
Going full hp without having speed is going to lower your sustain in moc 10 and probably force you to have a “few retries”. I know there are few builds but going “full HP” just gives too much diminishing return since you should roll HP on substats. A lot depend on the rolls you have and it is way easier to build her with HP+Speed set since you farm both of them at the same time so higher probability to roll better stats.
I have 6/10/10/10, tried it with Sig S1 and with ToM S5, was at almost full hp on all teammates in mono quantum at the end of Moc10 twice, I bet should solo sustain 4x longer battle that necessary for MoC. (HP%, Speed, Hp%, I run ER because I have sig). 8200hp, 1560 def, 140 speed stats with sig.
In mono quantum I run Seele, QQ, SW and FX. She is astonishingly strong unit that can easily sustain anything MoC gives today if build decently.
yeah it’s probably my fu xaun speed issue so she can get enough energy to keep healing teammate up and my dps couldn’t reach a break point to kill some of the mobs in a fewer hits so my unlucky unit sometime die before i could finish.
I’m going to need to farm for better gear and have a good sub dps like qq to reach dmg break point better.
I want her sig but man I really want Ice mommy jing liu and QQ and tingyu also on that banner so i gotta preserve.
Stay strong! Waifu over LC 😄
(because this comment somehow ended up under someone else comment I ask again)
I soon start farming her relics since I’m almost done with the rest of her and I plan going for her signature weapon too so now I’m desprate. what do you guys think is more important? -> more sustainability for fu xuan or more sustainability for the group?
I don’t know if I should go 2p 12% hp/ 2p 10% outgoing healing,
4p wuthering snow or a 2p/2p variation of it.
some thoughts: I don’t think that fu xuan’s distribute covers the 8% dmg reduction because the group members getting damaged and then the dmg gets 100% distibuted to her and the group members don’t have 8% dmg reduction only she does but otherwise the direct dmg she personally recives gets lowerd from 82% to 74% what is a reduction of around 10% not 8%.
Out going healing tbh, like fu xuan already got a heal to sustain herself, you should keep in mind that, your dps and support is the key to victory.
my main advice i can give is to test first hand and just do 10 MOC without her lightcone. then buy it if you still feel like you need it.
right now we are not sure how dmg reduction from set bonus or lightcone work with her but it should be only on herself after dmg transfer from other units.
I don’t think her healing is good enough for 10% outgoing healing bonus. might as well just go for speed set.
Her own sustain should be more than enough to the point you can consider build her with dmg set, and run her with another semi sustain like fire MC or another sustain like Lynx. so she’s there as a 1 shot protection, buffing critrate and do decent dmg.
I believe FX will be mostly immortal with enough hp and a couple def substats. It’s much more likely that a squishy unit gets randomly focused by enemies and runs out of health.
The build I farmed for is 2pc hp / 2pc outgoing healing / fleet of the ageless + herta LC. My build has 8300hp, 1350 def, 600 party heal, 134 spd, er rope
Her healing is weak, outgoing healing is not worth it at all. It won’t help you survive even 1 more attack so it’s pointless. Also while Fu is on the team no one else needs survivability but her since she will always die first. She’s the opposite of Gepard so to speak. Going 2pc/HP and 2pc/DR (Damage Reduction.) Is the best choice for survivability.
“Her healing is weak, outgoing healing is not worth it at all.”
You couldn’t be more wrong.
Her outgoing healing on the party is pre-mitigated. She diverts 80% of incoming ally damage, meaning a 600 hp ally heal is able to absorb 3000 incoming damage on that ally. Outgoing healing also applies to her self heal where she normally restores 90% of her missing health. 10% outgoing healing is by far the best 2 pc set bonus for her self sustain and party sustain. Outgoing healing bonus scales directly with every part of her kit that can be called “sustain”. You don’t want outgoing healing body though because 10% is the maximum amount which scales her self heal.
This, and I don’t see how ppl think otherwise. Just do a little napkin math and you soon realize that a character in your team would have to basically die 5 times before they actually die, and that’s even before you count in her small healing, which isn’t so small when you consider that she heals the team for ~15% of their HP and they only get ~20% of the original dmg.
So even at the absolute worst case scenario that one of your teammates would get killed every turn, with Fu Xuans dmg reduction and her heals, that character would still survive roughly 7 turns.
Her healing is very weak for herself, and lets be honest she’s the only one who needs to survive. No one else will take damage fast enough to be killed before Fu dies herself, as a result her healing matters very little. It’s just a nice little. “Pick me up.” Most times aka 90% of the time the enemy will die before Fu does and no one else on your team will even lose half of their HP by that point. All enemies do to your other members is chip damage.
Out going healing 10% for Fu which equals like 50-70 health just does not matter in the slightest, Fu herself receiving 8% less damage however could very well be huge like helping her to survive a nuke huge. So yea, i don’t understand why people think it’s best in slot at all.
Following this comment :
“can I ask you how do you know this? so she mitigates the redirected dmg with her def, skill and 2p ws set? sounds like 2p wuthering snow/ 2p outgoing healing is BiS if this all is true. 12% hp gives around 300 hp what is around 20 hp more healing. 10% outgoing healing gives around 55 hp more healing (both with +34,5% outgoing healing). for 6 spd I don’t know if I want to go for it for me it’s the second most important stat after hp for substats followed by def but 120 should be enough to trigger su set. 134 spd is hard to achieve and would probably need spd shoes anyways but surviving the first turn shouldn’t be an impossible task.”
Someone from beta made a calc sheet on reddit using in-game data, and known damage datas, here you go :

oh thank you:3
that’s some very usefull information
Thanks for this!
go 2pc hp/2pc gaurd/2pc messenger and mix and match them.
Your stats sshould total around 7k hp with 1.5k def. Try getting ur effect res to a respectable level(preferably around 40-60%), and ur spd to around 121-134 whichever speed breakpoint you prefer.
So for starters, the 8% damage reduction absolutely does apply to her redirection, people were able to test this with things like Landau’s Choice ahead of time because of that redirection blessing in SU, so Wuthering’s 2-set bonus is absolutely worthwhile, arguably her best one because DR is so rare. From there, its 4-set is nearly worthless; for it to trigger she has to be sub-50% *and* out of stacks of her talent, which is a dire enough situation that an 8% heal and 5 energy won’t save her, but more importantly it’s also just rare so most of the time it’s completely wasted. I personally go 2/2 Wuthering and Longevous, but you could also do 2/2 with some mix of Longevous, Purity Palace, and Messenger. Passerby’s outgoing healing is nearly worthless, though. There currently isn’t a 4-set that synergizes particularly well with her, Messenger comes the closest but you miss out on a defensive 2-set by going for it which for her just isn’t worth an occasional teamwide SPD buff.
Im going to try building Fu Xuan’s relics now. Would
4pc Longevous Disciple
&
2pc Fleet of the Ageless
work on her? Is there a better relic set for her?
for best tanking 2pc disciple and 2pc wuthering would probably be best, she gets a good amount of crit rate from her traces and ability (18.7% from traces + 12% from skill + 5% base crit rate) so the 4pc buff isnt the best. I also believe 2pc healing and 2pc defense also works, however she does scales damages off hp so for sub dps max hp build is good, but for tank defense and damage reduction is needed
