n/a | Senior manager of the Strategic Investment Department at the IPC and one of the Ten Stonehearts. His Cornerstone is the "aventurine of stratagems." An ostentatious risk-taker, he often wears a smile that masks his true motives. He won his current position by wagering against fate itself. He views life as a high-stakes, high-return investment, and he plays this particular gamble with masterful ease. |
n/a | "I have something to report to you about the new employee." "What makes you so worried, Erwin?" "It's complaints about him, both formal and informal. My mailbox has been flooded with them like countless pieces of paper. I wonder... if it's worth reconsidering his inclusion in the Strategic Investment Department." "What do these complaints say?" "Mostly about his origins. Those eyes of his..." "He once deceived the Marketing Development Department by falsely claiming that there were energy sources hidden in the barren land of Sigonia, not yet effectively developed and utilized. A huge amount of funds was invested into excavating it before we realized it was all a scam." "And then there's the notorious Egyhazo Aventurine Case. He misled the Intelligentsia Guild into believing that the remains of Tayzzyronth the Imperator Insectorum were buried there. Despite the scholars being extremely cautious, they ultimately still fell into the trap." "And let's not forget the letters from the councilors of the Sigonian Sovereignty. They denounce his tribe for once breaking agreements and sowing discord, leading to significant changes in the balance of peace between the tribes, resulting in repeated delays in the signing of agreements between Sigonia and IPC. Allowing such an employee to join at the IPC would be a severe detriment to public relations..." "If these are the extent of the complaints, there's no need to tell me." "...You already know it all?" "Each gemstone holds unique value, and our task is to make investments." "We don't need to appease those stubborn old-timers who sent in complaints, as these rumors will eventually reach... No, they would already have reached his ears. Well, let's take this chance and see how big of a surprise he can bring us." |
n/a | "You're quite something else, boy... I still can't figure out how you managed to empty out my entire business. But I will never surrender. If push comes to shove, I'll just blow up this whole place... What are you gonna do about it?" The Mad Bull of Iymanika signals his followers to let go. He raises his head from the table, dusting off his collar. "You arrogant dogs from the IPC never respected us wanderers, did you? But now that you're in our territory, you'll play by our rules." Mad Bull empties the cylinder, putting only one bullet in the revolver, and tosses it to the other man's feet. "Six shots. Fate will decide whether we live or die after a maximum of six shots. Do you have the nerve?" The other man bends down and picks up the revolver. "There are too many people who've pointed a gun at me. Some of them even just went ahead and pressed the trigger straight up... Now, guess how come I'm still standing here." The man stands up, stares into the Mad Bull's eyes, raises the gun, and puts it against his own heart. "It's because the gun will always end up in my hand." "And now, this game is making me bored... One in six? That possibly is nowhere near enough. If you want to tempt fate..." Six consecutive gunshots thunder out in the starship that is wrapped in a deathly silence. After the smoke clears, the man raises the gun again and walks toward Mad Bull. The revolver is now loaded with a fresh bullet. "You need to learn how to turn yourself into a die first." "...You won't surrender, but why? Because you have this lousy game of chance? Or..." He points the gun into the darkness. "Because of her?" A woman holding a pistol emerges slowly from the direction the revolver points. The Mad Bull acts as if he found a lifeline when he sees her. "Madam Jade, this is not what we agreed upon..." At that moment, both of them opened fire simultaneously, and two figures dressed in black fall from the shadows behind each of them. "The IPC has enemies everywhere, right?" The woman calmly holsters her pistol, takes out her cosmetic mirror, and inspects her appearance. "You used our lives as bait, making them believe there was internal strife between us, and then you eliminated them all... A clever trick, although a bit reckless." He greets the woman with a smile, although his hands tremble slightly. "Trick? No, it was just a test." The elegant lady opens her palm, revealing a shimmering aventurine of peculiar hues. "There's nothing strange about it. Gemstones are destined to be... desired, sought, cut, and sold." "However, there's so much more you can do. It all depends on how you see yourself." |
n/a | He walks into the room at the furthest end of the corridor, remembering how he was still a grotesque prisoner the last time he came here. Now, he stands with his back straight and faces those who sit at the very top of the department. He listens to the blond woman as she reads out the lengthy and boring report. Those cold, unfeeling numbers cannot convey the dangers that accompanied him as he walked on the thin line between life and death, nor can they communicate how much he had lost and gained during the journey. He is simply curious whether she is human or an Intellitron. The aventurine, that symbol of power and of the future, is about to be officially handed to him — Yet it would have no more allure or value in his eyes as soon he obtains it, even though he had sought it by putting his life on the line. "Do you have any more questions, Aventurine?" Jade, the only person he knows among the presently gathered, asks at the end of the meeting. "The Avgins in Sigonia... what happened to them afterward?" "Unfortunately, there are no more Avgins in Sigonia. You're the last lucky dog." "What about those people who helped me on planet ██? Now I can finally repay their kindness." "They are no more, either." ... He returns to his office in a daze. The aventurine stone emits a peculiar glow on his desk, seemingly congratulating and mocking him at the same time. "Was luck truly on your side when you wrestled with fate?" |
n/a | "Penacony... Is Diamond finally ready to do something about it?" The miniature model on the table continues to rotate, the crystalline memory bubble emitting tiny spheres of foam. "This historic debt is utterly unimaginable. So, the profit involved is also... shockingly high." The person in front of him has their back turned to him, gazing instead at the purplish-red sky of Pier Point at sunset. "But why me?" The person continues to face away from him. Keen though his eyes are, he can not decipher the true intentions behind the decision. "It should have been me, but Diamond believes that The Family still had some value in cooperation and hopes this affair still has some room for a peaceful resolution." "So, after some thought, I've concluded that you're the best candidate." "This is only our second conversation ever. Do you trust me that much?" "No, I've never trusted you. Perhaps Jade does, but I don't." "Maybe luck won't be on your side this time, and the bill for all your past good fortune will come due." Finally, the person in front of him turns around. The distant skyscraper reflects a kaleidoscope of colors like an opal stone, while a music box plays on its own. "But isn't that what you've been longing for?" |

Has anyone calculated if it is possible to reach 4k defense using a 4-star light cone?
With def body orb ,and rope?
easily
mine will reach 4800 (with def boots)
would it be worth going for 3 broken keel on supports considering the bonus effect res from aventurine?
hehe i was wondering the same
probably yes, besides 10% crit dmg guaranteed it is also 10% more effect res added to already high eff res, eff res works best when stacked (till some limit) so it would be a pretty good defensive option as well i think
just think how hard it is to hit debufs on bosses that have 50% eff res compared to 40 ones, its not just 10% harder
i’ll probably try broken keel on topaz, aven and ruan for ratio
So he just give 50% effect res just like that? wouldn’t broken keel really good for the whole team then?
since his shield gave 50% EFFRES, then simply gave the other 3 supports (incl. Aven) with BK set. then any DPS you play witht his team free 30% CDM.
S1 Moment if Victory (Gepard’s signature light cone) or S5 Divine Threads (forgotten hall 4-star light cone), do you think?
you meant Destiny’s Threads Forewover ?
I calculate with def rope with imaginary orb , Crit dmg body and speed boot with the relic i have so your result may differ.
S1 moment fully activate will give : 3780 Def -> 42 crit rate and basic attack at 100 def * total dmg bonus(before defence) is 5800 dmg
S5 Destiny’s Threads will give : 2850 Def -> 24 crit rate and basic attack at 100 def * total dmg bonus(before defence) is 5740 dmg
S1 moment of victory has so high def and def% bonus to the point it beats that 48% dmg bonus from destiny threads and also give better shield and crit rate.
And if you have full team Dmg Bonus buffer like raun mei or sparkle or robin then S1 moment of victory will win even more.
same goes for any other 4 star LC from my calculation,
except for This Is Me! S5 is very close and might even win a bit for ult dmg.
or maybe Trend of the Universal Market for Archeron.
Then again you may get higher S for Moment of victory as time goes on, At S2 and higher then it’s no contest.
What would his best overall 4* LC be? I also love the lack of doomposting on here compared to te genshin one.
His best 4 star light cone would be S5 Concert For Two but since it’s a Gacha LC you prob won’t be able to hit that unless you are already going for his sig. Off the top of my head you’ll probably be best off with the new MoC LC Destiny’s Threads at S5 but you will have to run a lot of DEF main stat pcs to make it work. This is Me! is a decent option for the high base defense and def% you get from its passive but it is a battle pass exclusive so superimposing it will be kinda expensive and take a long time.
so, is “Unnerved” from his ult counts as debuff?
and i’m guessing knight of purity palace is his BiS relic?
Yes it is a debuff
Knight for pure shielder, not for sub-dps hybrid builds
what about the planar set? broken keel?
I’d recommend salsotto for dmg or keel for support
Would the “This is me!” LC be a good option for ULT DMG? Is it worth getting or should I go for other options?
Not worth choosing over other BP options, I’d suggest getting S5 destiny’s threads if you have absolutely nothing else
I see thank you, what about “Concert for Two”?
If you can actually get it then yes, it’s pretty good
If you want it S5 however… you’d probably get Aventurine’s signature first
Thinking of creating a FUA team alongside my already partly made DOT team with Kafka, Black Swan, Ruan Mei and Fu Xuan (missed out on HuoHuo).
I’ve got Clara but am still in the middle of building her, skipping Acheron in order to get Aventurine (hopefully to E1S1 if not E0S1 minimum). Also planning to get Robin whose coming out in 2.2 with at least her light cone and if lucky some Eidelons.
Waiting for Topaz’ rerun – really bummed that I skipped her when she first came out. For the final slot, I’m thinking of building Yanqing who I got from losing some 50/50s. I’m leaning toward building him up rather than Dr Ratio since I’m gonna already have an imaginary unit with Aventurine, and hopefully Aventurine’s shields will be tanky enough so that Yanqing doesn’t lose any HP.
Is this a good idea?
they will all work and the idea is good.
Aventurine’s BiS team comp is probably going to be something like : Aventurine – Dr.Ratio – Topaz – Ruan Mei or Pela.
if you have Pela, i would suggest using her on this team and swap her out later for Robin once you get her.
Topaz can be replaced by any harmony character for now or Silver wolf if you face an Elite or boss enemy.
There is nothing wrong with having 2 imaginary charaters on one team, Dr. Ratio , from a consistency point of view will do much better then YanQing only because YanQing has a Capped 60% chance to trigger his FUA.
For now your comp i would say would be : Aventurine – Clara – Dr.Ratio – Pela/Silver Wolf.
Aventurine – Clara – YanQing – Harmony ( Preferably Asta ) or Pela
Aventurine – Clara – Double Harmony or Mix of Harmony and Debuffer.
I would personally drop Yanqing and build Ratio after Clara and Use Pela or Silver Wolf. if pela is not build or if you don’t have Silver Wolf then i would use Clara and what ever you have ATM till you have Topaz and/or Robin. then have the comp : Aventurine – Topaz (perferably at E1 or S1 or both) – Dr. Ratio – Robin.
you can also go the Clara route with : Aventurine – Clara – Robin – Topaz ( E1 and S1 not needed ) but since you are going for S1 Aventurine i whould go with the former team comp for the highest damage output.
One more thing, build and use who ever you want, it is still a game and you should play with whatever you have fun with, these are just my thoughts and what i think is going to perform best for the foreseeable future.
can someone help me, would moment of victory (s1) actually be better than destiny’s threads forwoven(s5) for aventurine? would the build i use change depending on which lightcone i level?
i would personally use Moment of victory, not only because the effect gives him more defense, but also because the base stats are way higher ( Destiny at 463 VS Moment at 595 def ), getting closer to that Def Cap for his trace makes choosing relics way easier and you can even swap out 1 maby even 2 relics for more damage.
The effect RES on Destiny is also not that usefull because Aventurine gives his teammates 50% for free and he him self can resist CC.
the extra taunt will also be usefull and the increased DEF on hit will again make him tankier.
heya, is my aventurine still viable if I go for 4pc pioneer and an imaginary DMG sphere on salsotto? everything else is DEF mainstat, I don’t know if I can switch to a CDMG body (current CR without passive is 37.2)
I’m planning on going for his signature LC, but would I be able to reach the 4K Defense requirement with two defense mainstats, all traces and his sigLC?
almost possible, by my calculations, you need at least 21% def substat from your relics
DEF Total = (Character Base DEF + LC Base DEF) * (1 + DEF%) + Flat DEF
Your Aventurine Def (654.88 (aventurine base def) + 661.5 (aventurine lc base def) * (1+54%+54%+35%+40%) + flat def
54% from def mainstat
35% from traces
40% from light cone
183% def increase
by the math, you have 3728 Def
and need at least *21%* def substat from your relic
if you can’t, just slap def% sphere, more beneficial this way because he can sustain better
