Title | Text |
n/a | A paragon knight of the Knights of Beauty. He embodies righteousness and honor, possessing an admirable nobility. As a solitary wanderer in the cosmos, he wholeheartedly embraces the principles of "Beauty." Upholding the honor of beauty in the universe has been Argenti's sacred duty. From the very beginning, he approached this duty with piety and unwavering conviction. |
n/a | His hometown was ravaged by war for years, and the memories of his early childhood were tainted by the horrors of bloodshed and relentless shelling. Amidst the chaos, he sought refuge underground and, by chance, discovered an ocarina beneath a stone tile. With trembling hands, he attempted to coax a melody from the instrument. However, his "music" proved to be terrible. Yet, the ethereal notes emanating from his ocarina became his sanctuary, a spiritual escape from the harsh reality. Over time, the melodic strains faded into the recesses of his memory, becoming a mysterious and elusive moment. It was only years later, during a bard tour, when he saved a child from the flames of war and received a precious ocarina as a token of gratitude, that the melodies of his past resurfaced. Holding the exquisite instrument in his hands, he examined its flawless and noble craftsmanship. Once again, the melodies of his childhood converged, evoking a flood of emotions and memories. However, his "music" remained terrible. "I'm too clumsy to master this instrument..." He murmured in self-deprecation. Yet, after a profound moment of contemplation, a resolute courage ignited within him. He resolved to try once more, to weave a melody. The music remained unchanged, but this time, he laughed wholeheartedly. "Despite the terrible music, I love it. I believe it to be beautiful." Carefully stowing away his ocarina, he once again embarked on his journey without hesitation. |
n/a | After leaving his hometown, he became the apprentice of an elderly master. Alongside physical and mental training, he would often listen to his master's tales of bygone eras — stories of transcendent beauty and mystical phenomena witnessed by the Minstrels. "It was a world bathed in amber, draped in undisturbed stillness, where every being shed tears for the magnificent wonders veiled beneath its surface." "Rumor has it that Idrila, after embarking on a journey spanning numerous cycles of Thirteen Amber Eras, will make a triumphant return to the universe during the elusive thirteenth month." Day after day, his master imparted the essence of beauty to him. He learned to go beyond mere poetic recitation and embrace devotion as the embodiment of beauty, truly upholding its philosophy. He understood that beauty was not just a code to follow but a way of life, an existence known as a knight. However, his master departed from this world, and he once again set out on his lonely journey. He contemplated his existence, pondering the nature of his being. Instead of lamenting his solitude, he focused on becoming a true knight. During his stay in an old city, he labored to restore its dilapidated streets. He vanquished nightmarish monsters, and with the arrival of spring, rabbits frolicked once again in the woods. He also briefly found companionship in the presence of another knight, who professed his faith in the blessings of the goddess residing within his armor. "To give one's soul requires understanding that each encounter might be one's last, yet retreating is never an option." "Carry these words of courage with you, my dear friend." He contemplated on his lance, which bore the stains of countless battles fought in the name of Beauty. With solemn reverence, he wiped away each mark, a testament to his tireless odyssey toward the pursuit of Beauty. |
n/a | Since embarking on the Path of Beauty, a path of asceticism, he had faced numerous trials. Some presented themselves as prayers, others as opportunities for repentance, and still others as the seductive whispers of the Triple Demons. Fearlessly, he confronted these temptations with an unwavering lance and an indomitable spirit. With each victory, his weaknesses, greed, and distractions dissolved into oblivion. He pledged to offer his soul and life at the feet of the Aeon of Beauty. The profane words of the Triple Demons resembled fragmented ravings, morphing into manifestations of human desires. They embodied the crass pursuit of personal gain, shameless indulgence in sin, the allure of power, and the enticement of battle and worldly pleasures. Their aim was to erode repentance and replace it with the banality of common sense. His blood mingled with his flowing locks on the battlefield, with each crimson droplet intertwined with honor. His lance stood resolute at his side, blessed by the divine to retain its everlasting sharpness. The echoes of his esteemed master and comrades transformed into whispers. His spear would never yield, even if his master had succumbed to evil temptations. Drenched in blood, teetering on the precipice of consciousness, he finally discerned a faint murmur that seemed to emanate from the very fabric of existence. "You defy infamy. You proclaim glory. You are the Knights of Beauty. With each triumph, you must confront yourselves anew, peering into the depths of your hearts and acknowledging the potential for malevolence." "Congratulations! Once again, you have triumphed in the Trial of Reflection." |
n/a | The knights embraced diverse approaches in their pursuit of Beauty. Some fervently embodied their beliefs until their final days, while others grappled with assumptions and defied heresies that could lead them into despair. Some adorned themselves in armor and waged battles, while others saw themselves as unworthy, considering themselves the "ugly ones" unable to don the robe of beauty. Yet, the unchanging truth remained in their collective quest to unravel the enigma of Idrila in the vast universe. He vowed to uphold humility, mercy, and justice, remaining steadfast in honoring his oaths along the arduous path. "Those freaks!... The Knights of Beauty are a bunch of freaks!" As rumors of Idrila's demise spread throughout the cosmos, their perplexity deepened. Piety intermingled with doubt, and laughter intertwined with lunacy. Notions of honor, reputation, and infamy dissolved into nothingness. This marked the end of everything. When he finally encountered his former comrade, he found a knight who had become a fanatic, lost in a blind pursuit of power. The former hero who had wielded a legendary weapon and vanquished the sky devourer had degenerated into a beast. His armor transformed into the scaly hide of the behemoth he had slain, his weapon into unyielding claws and fangs, and his blood into a viscous and restless flame. His eyes, once filled with wisdom, now burned with untamed wildness. The voice that had once addressed him as "my dear friend" had dwindled to a hissing cry. The words spoken during the trial carried the weight of the Finality's impending prophecy, signaling the looming end. Will he, himself... succumb to the clutches of the Omen of Evil? |

122 responses to “Argenti”
why does he have neithe r crit rate or damage traces omggg
Erudition characters don’t usually have those ( Except Jing Yuan I think )
Argenti does get 25% crit rate from his talent tbf
Serval and Herta have CR traces though, and Himeko has a 15% CR major trace while above 80% hp.
Qingque is the only one without any Crit traces, so no, these units usually have CR traces, CD traces on erudition will be a first though.
The biggest problem with Argenti’s kit in my opinion is that the fully charged ult’s biggest multiplier is a bounce type ability
Bounce abilities suck, you’d want to evenly distribute damage with Erudition but with bounce abilities like the Lighting Lord or Argenti’s fully charged ult you just kinda dont have the ability to do so, the game can screw you over a lot by choosing a low value target over and over again, I wish they made the multiplier lower, but made it so the ult could hit every enemy so instead of being like 270% + 570% randomly its just 570% to all enemies or something like that
while Lighting Lord still has this problem, its a lot more manageable because you get the Lighting Lord every turn, Argenti’s ult is 180 energy, imagine charging 180 energy just for 3 out of 6 bounces to hit the random trotter that spawned because of the MoC Memory Turbulence or something like that
A weird pattern with a lot of eruditions is that their kits kinda don’t favor AoE
Jing Yuan is no better in AoE than he is in blast, and he’s most consistent in single target
Qingque actually performs worst in AoE
And Argenti has the same issue as Jing Yuan but even more pronounced since he doesn’t have blast dmg
Erudition is weird and I wish it got more love
You do realize that you only need enough AoE damage to kill trash mobs right? What’s the point of dealing 570% AoE if you overkill most of the enemies by 60k damage?
Especially when his skill is also AoE so even if you only skill once before ulting the total AoE damage would be 390%.
Erudition gets bounce attacks because they synergize better with their AoE kits. The AoE attacks clear the trash mobs and then the bounce annihilates elites.
To further prove this point, currently the highest amount of elites you can fight at once is 2, so the 280% AoE + 95% x 6 is equal to a 1130% total multiplier, which is only 10% less than the 570% AoE you want.
However in a scenario with one elite you deal 850% with the bounce version, as opposed to 570% with the AoE one.
And for the finish i would like to say that Argentis real issue is that his skill is horrible in ST, so personally i would like them to nerf the AoE to 100% and add a bounce of lets say 3 x 25%, that would be a good buff imo 🙂
Argenti isn’t “bad” by any means, he can clear MoC 10 and I’m sure he’ll do fine in SD5 (where the final boss is AoE and energy is plentiful)
Just a reminder to everyone that a character being fun and cool is more important than their meta status. Even Jing Yuan (often considered the worst limited 5*) is now getting buffs with new relics so Argenti will no doubt be perfectly fine.
what new relics?
“Grand Duke Incinerated to Ashes” set is being added in 1.5 you can see it on this site
“Wriothesley burned to death” (grand Duke incinerated to ashes)
2pc gives 16% follow-up dmg
4pc gives each consecutive hit in a single follow-up an 8% dmg bonus up to 10(?) stacks
It’s 8 stack I think, making the full set a 80% dmg bonus.
Had to check after yeah it’s 8 stacks, so 16%+ (up to) 64%
Lovely copy-paste: “Herta isn’t “bad” by any means, she can clear MoC 10 and I’m sure she’ll do fine in SD5 (where the final boss is AoE and energy is plentiful)
Just a reminder to everyone that a character being fun and cool is more important than their meta status. Even Herta (often considered the worst unlimited 4*) is now getting buffs with new relics so Herta will no doubt be perfectly fine”
Thank you for your contribution but unfortunately I will have to deduct points for:
A) Using subject Herta in both examples, this is incorrect as the source material clearly stated 2 separate subjects
B) “Where the final boss is AoE and energy is plentiful” is inapplicable in this situation as subject Herta does not have comparable energy needs to subject Argenti
C) Subject Herta is a character obtainable for free and therefore the original context of pulling for new characters is inapplicable
D) Subject Herta receives no meaningful buff from relics introduced in 1.5 therefore this section is also inapplicable
E) The name “This dude always defends any decision MHY” would suggest I have a track record of defending the bad practices typical of a gacha game company or that you know me personally, neither of which are true.
Thank you for your time but unfortunately your score was not sufficient and you will be disqualified, I look forward to seeing you again next year.
Thing is if you’re using being able to clear moc 10 as a “isn’t bad by any means”, then it’s not saying much as most characters can do it. Even Jing Yuan without the new set can still do it in the current moc using just the breakfast LC (I would still classify him as slightly bad compared to the other new ones).
But yes, at the end of the day, most characters are still viable, especially limited 5 stars. So pull who you like would be more apt.
THIS!!
FINALLY SOMEONE SAYS THIS!!
I just thought up of a 3 turn rotation with him, yes on his 180 version ult. Passkey gives 12 energy along with his talent 3 energy per enemy, even in single target, he gets 45(30+12+3) per E and that gives him 5+45+45+45=140 energy and with either tingyun(50 ult energy or huo huo(180*0.20=36)ult energy plus a hit or kill.
but isnt the dmg loss from using 3 star lc gonna be massive?
dont use a 3s lc on him, lets say there is 2 enemies on the field (2-3 for boss stages and 2 for elite) (30+3*2)*3+5=113 energy from 3 turns, 60 from e6 tingyun = 173, if you kill the mobs the boss summons thats 180, or put him next to your tank and he gets 180 easily. and if you have both huohuo and e6 ty maybe 2 turn rotation?? (with and err rope)
skill issue argenti solos ur favs
yeah, “Skill issue Argenti” is a nice name lol
This game really hates erudition.
No special kit on skills (100% DMG on JY, 110% DMG on Argenti),
has a mechanics that require build-up (Ascend stack, Lightning Lord Stack, 180 energy on Argenti)
660% + (250% left, 250% right) on JY 10 stacks
95% * 6 (570%) + 280% * number of enemies on 180 Energy
All of that just to get outpowered by Destruction (a class not dedicated to deal massive damage, Danil, Jing Liu, Blade) even on a AoE scenario.
At least Argenti is easier to build than Jing Yuan thanks to the crit rate from ascend stack.
Argenti is a step better than Jing Yuan, but still Jing Yuan IMO need a rework or buff (or HYV need to stop introduce S+ Destruction class and tone it down), sure Argenti felt like a “redemption” after JY but still place them in bottom of current DPS tier (again, even in AoE Scenario where they should be the king on that).
Destruction is literally dedicated to dealing massive damage what are you talking about, every single destruction character is damage, damage, damage
It’s more that people initially assumed destruction would be a hybrid tank/dps class because of Clara and Blade, and hunt would be the powerhouse dps class because of Seele
But Hoyoverse didn’t stick to that for long
as it turned out Destruction is the damage class
Hunt is the Speed must go fast class
Erudition is the Look at my ult cinematic class
problem is units ”with split scalling” , units that go in multiple directions
like herta himeko JY. they go half and half with follow ups and with ultimate damage
leaving a unit that does not excel at anything…. seems they need a external buffer.. like topaz for follow ups
if we ever get a unit that ”buffs team ultimate damage” or ”buffs team energy regeneration”, like kafka buffs dots and Topaz buffs followups
this ultimate centered play style would be more viable ( nevermind we already have it!)
HSR sucrose seem to be a must since she gives energy while being a sustain , not a harmony.
kinda want to see a Serval or Himeko ult non stop with tingyun+Huohuo+Hanya
it will be such a ult spam when you pair the units designed to make 180 energy work with 130 ult.
argenti patch will be a buff to arlan and serval ironically. let them spam
his kit might be a bit “off” but his LC is really good holy shit, is boost his dmg so much, he’s a “hit all target” type but his dmg with LC is gonna be crazy even for boss “single target”, but is only great with ult not E.
his lc at s1 is basically an s5 “make the world clamour” with 36 extra crit dmg, it’s ok at best
Looks fun! I think he will be an awesome character, that ult dmg is insane too.
Also knight with a spear, gorgeous red hair and roses in his animations. I adore this aesthetic.
Does argenti have 2 ults?
probably, look like he can unleash his ultimate when his energy is 90 but deal less damage and he can wait till his energy full(180) to unleash his real ultimate
look like energy hungry type of character but in compensate his whole kit is around charging his own energy but still using energy rope probably gonna make him better
Just put in his team Huo Huo and Tingyun and you are starting with 108 energy.
His kit and traces looks great. But feels like underwhelming for an exclusive 5star, maybe because its so simple. But kind of expecting a follow up atk on his kit.
Not fair, Lunae only do one thing but why get so much praise
He has ridiculous multipliers and pretty animations
I mean Argenti has gorgeous animations, but not so good multipliers
Here’s hoping Argenti either gets better sustain dmg or a more worthwhile nuke
