3. All of the characters above you mention are more resrictive in team building and only better at higher lv investment

So far Anaxa is HSR’s biggest mistake! He is better at AOE content than Acheron/Blast than Aglaea/Single target than Feixiao/better at depleting weaknesses bar than any Break DPS. No path requirement or useless stack bs, instead weakness implant which is actually very usefull unlike what those incels said bc it’s gives no debuff like SW.
Thus, developers also need to reconsider when receiving feedback during Beta because the majority of it comes from stupid incels who don’t know how to play the game.

They dropped the Character Banners and Weapon Banners and also the Stamina System!
All the Characters and Weapons are farmable in game without Stamina system limiting the farming.
Monetization is going to be focused on Skins and Cosmetics.
Bikini Skins will come first then Christmas Costumes later.
All Character fragments are farmable but those who do not like to do that can buy them for money too.
Most players play Gacha not for the Gambling, but for the many different Characters they can get to play with, building Teams, Exploring, Fighting Bosses, getting cool Gear!
Gacha is not a game Genre, it is a monetization method, so those who love Anime style RPGs will be happy that Duet Night Abyss dropped the Gacha monetization method and switched it to Skins and cosmetics only.
Erasing the Stamina system makes me really happy.

In older games it was the norm that those who played video games wanted to unlock and get everything in game, work for it and be rewarded for your hard work.
While the “I have a life bro” casuals couldn’t be bothered to put in the effort so they spent money to catch up.

I was played 2 games like this for 5 years – ANY character that you can farm without stamina or pay is trash or become trash after first year – for farm somethin stronger you need to break grindwall with your blooded hands OR with credit card – when you get somethin stronger is become trash too cause new characters that must be farmed after one more grindwall is beter and guys with cards get them already – any endgame will be nightmare-hard for you if you dont have fresh characters BUT you can farm them only after you break this endgame
Oh! and PvP! how can I forgot?! – if in this game you can play PvP and farm some characters through it – it will become one more circle of Hell where Whales will blow you and for farm somethin you need to become one of them OR endure endless humiliation
and events! events where you can spend some money for characters and weapons that will become farmable only after 2-3 years!

The fact that he’s an upgrade over other 5* sustain including Hyacine herself in other than HP or Break team means that he’s very good, calling him a 4 star epic characters is such a brainless thinking. This is why HSR suffer a lot with Powercrept.
but this version of him still sucks. now you need to farm the new set coming out just to make up for the amount of the shield they removed from his kit, with his old shield values you could have used sacerdos set on him and get an additional 6 speed, while having the same shields. this also means: no relic pre-farming
but the worst part is: DanTe just got a lot more boring and plain with the changes to how the dmg of his summon works. the changes to his summon remove all fun synergies DanTe had before. so he changed from a fun exciting unit with many synergies to just a strong shielder and thats it – everything that made him and his summon special just got removed all that remains is shields…
I tell you one interesting thing – not EVERY character must be OP – character can even be good without being OP
Terravox is good character who can be alternative to Aventurine as shieldmaker – how many alternatives we had before can you tell me m???
you cant create infinite chains of damage-dealing with him – thats a thing that makes you angry and sad??? – and soo what? you trashtalking on him just cause his power level is not strong-as-cheating??? – worst reason to trashtalk on character!

his summon allowing chars without BIS planar ornament like Saber to use Banana set which is additional improvement
Before the nerf his shield numbers were way too big, everyone knew this was coming, he will still give you enough shields as his shield procs 3-4 times in a turn, you will almost always have full shields, but the main issue is the max shield also got nerfed, so not now but in upcoming versions strong single target dmg will start to seep through the shields. Even Hoyo knew that that’s why they added the heal on his LC. They somehow need to sell the LC, as earlier you can put any LC and your team was immune but now you need to put high atk base LC.
So, in short, he’s still very good but he’s not going to stay very good for long.
I give you standing ovations – without jokes or sarcasm
BUT you not forgot 2 things
1) he RIGHT NOW not get enough shield power for stay in Virt 6+ chaos level
2) monsters like Pollux can just ignore any shields
soo he already have some problems – at real ALL characters have same problems – when he not even released
