Character Details | While this foxian girl may seem fragile and weak, she is actually a judge-in-training of the Ten-Lords Commission, responsible for capturing evil. The judges sealed a heliobus named "Tail" onto her tail, making her a "Cursed One" with a tendency to attract evil beings. Despite trembling at the sight of evil spirits, she is always entrusted with the arduous task of eradicating their presence. She is well aware of her incompetence but lacks the courage to resign, so she forces herself to press on despite her fear. |
Character Story: Part I | When Huohuo awakes at the Ten-Lords Commission, she finds herself confronted not with novelty, but with an atmosphere that sends shivers down her spine. Sensing her unease, a white-haired judge addresses her with gentleness. "Tell me, little girl, how did you come across that fire?" "...It was along the roadside and about to extinguish, so I... I wished to help it." "So you put that fire on your tail? Why did you do that?" "I... I don't know... It happened before I realized it... I'm so sorry." "You don't need to apologize, kind-hearted girl. However, you'll be under our custody from now onwards." "Th—Thank you, Madam." "Call me Hanya." "Ah, thank you, Madam Hanya. I... my name is Huohuo." The thoughts of the judge named Hanya wanders back to a few days ago. The Ten-Lords Commission received a distress call, and she took on the task of locating the foxian girl who was about to be consumed by a heliobus. At the moment, Hanya couldn't repel the heliobus by force without causing harm to Huohuo, who was still a little girl. As a result, she had to seal the heliobus onto the girl's tail. Fortunately, the heliobus decided to start the possession from her tail, giving Hanya a chance to save her life. "...Was my decision right or wrong?" Hanya mutters to herself. * Unlocked at Character Level |
Character Story: Part II | While the heliobus is short-tempered and arrogant, he is not impossible to communicate with. He could not tolerate Huohuo's sobbing and wailing and didn't quite understand how foxians socialize — for example, he didn't understand why the girl would be ostracized by her classmates due to "her tail being on fire." "You! Tear off that talisman!" "No! Madam Hanya said the talisman must not be removed under any circumstances..." "Did you hear them? How dare they mock me!? I've never been humiliated like this before!" "No... they're not mocking you... but me..." "Then you go teach them a lesson yourself. If you can't avenge me for this insult, then don't talk to me anymore." "B—But... I'm scared..." "Alright, fine. You know what? Just take a deep breath, make your mind go blank, and don't think about anything. I'll handle this problem for you." "B—But... Madam Hanya said... the talisman must not be removed..." "Don't worry. Just do what I say." ...When she regained consciousness, the legend of "the possessed demoness" was already circulating. After that, Huohuo went and found out a lot about the heliobus' past. Eons ago, a heliobus named Ignamar was defeated by a Luofu general and fragmented into numerous shards, then sealed in the Creation Furnace. This particular shard escaped, and he represents the arrogant side of Ignamar and wouldn't condescend to possessing anything, living as a vagabond for centuries... until Huohuo chanced upon him in his utter exhaustion. "Then I'll call you 'Tail' to avoid unwanted attention..." The heliobus said nothing, his silence being a sign of acquiescence. * Unlocked at Character Level |
Character Story: Part III | When Huohuo was taken in by the Ten-Lords Commission, the judges initially wanted to ensure that Tail wouldn't cause any trouble. Gradually, as she familiarized herself with her duties as a spiritfarer, she became acquainted with the various evil spirits documented by the Commission. "Madam Xueyi! H—How about the talismans I prepared last time?" "They were great. Very effective against Astral Spirits." "Ha—Haha... Glad to know that. I was worried if it would work well." "Why didn't you try them yourself?" "N—N—No... I'm too scared..." "You know, Huohuo? Most of those 'evil spirits' are actually extraterrestrial creatures or malevolent sentient beings that exist in various forms." "I know what they are, but I'm still so afraid, Madam Xueyi. Maybe I'm not really cut out for this job..." "...Well, only you know the answer to that." Huohuo is not okay with her timidity. She struggled to muster the courage needed to confront the evil spirits. She stayed up late watching horror-comedy films in an attempt to strengthen her nerves, but all she got were dark circles. She invested in the latest scientific exorcism tools to enhance her abilities, but it only left her with empty pockets. Tail sneered at the futility of her efforts, finding ways to make sarcastic remarks and mock her. "To be honest, Tail is the scariest of all..." However, in Xueyi's eyes, Huohuo has long ceased to fear Tail. * Unlocked at Character Level |
Character Story: Part IV | Initially, Tail was no different from any other heliobi, intending to devour Huohuo and take possession of her name and identity, stealing all of her desires and emotions. Later, Tail found pleasure in witnessing Huohuo's frustrations in her failures. "Anyway, I'm not in a hurry to devour her at all. She can't escape me after all." "Tail, Tail! Help... Help me!" "It's none of my concern. What did you say back then...? Oh, you've got to 'stand on your own feet.' Now this is the perfect chance, isn't it?" "No! I'll stand on my feet next time! Please help me!" "A reminder, once you die, I'll be free. But... well, I always finish what I start. I won't leave until I devour you." "You're a judge of the Ten-Lords Commission, but you've neglected your duty and allowed those monsters to wreak havoc on the Xianzhou. What a disgrace... Hey! What do you think you're doing, small fry!? I'm the only one who can scold her!" "Roaaaarr!" "You want to get physical, huh? Good, you asked for it!" Since being possessed by Tail, Huohuo has become highly sought-after by evil spirits, like moths to a flame. Huohuo always blames Tail for her ominous title as the "cursed one," and Tail finds having a host like Huohuo can be frustrating at times. However, years have passed, and Tail hasn't harmed Huohuo in the slightest. Although Tail never fails to help her after witnessing enough frustration, he denies any notion of friendship. "Issued by the Ten Lords, Huohuo the spiritfarer has performed extraordinarily during her tenure and has proven to be reliable for crucial tasks. She is hereby promoted to the position of 'Judge.'" The Ten-Lords Commission decreed her promotion, and thus begun Huohuo's new tenure as a trainee judge. * Unlocked at Character Level |

Huohuo’s cleanse takes priority, so you get cleansed before the debuff does its thing
Also Sacrificed Life is called Divine Provision now
Damn, Luocha got powercrept this easily and this early.
By whom lol?
Unironically better than Luocha. Anyone who days otherwise is coping.
Highly arguable, for mediocore accounts I would say Luocha will almost always be better since his healing and Sp generation really adds up when you can’t clear super fast.
Huo Huo also doesn’t work super well with certain units, but she has certain combos that she works wonders with, which truly make her an insane character.
So for good accounts that have those units and can clear fast enough to make her spend less Sp on healing, she is absolutely better than Luocha in pretty much every way 🙂
LOL nah fam, the ones who is coping rn is you huo2 or “anything that has female gender on it” worshipper. luocha is still a top pick on moc and any other contents for sustainer unit, fuxuan probably is 2nd close to him. no way this mid healer can surpass luocha. even lynx or any other healers can do the job almost the same as her, even better. stay coping stay dreaming ur loli being mid
I think you replied to the wrong comment my friend, but yes Luocha is insane.
still trying to validate your pull? lol
Accept it, he isn’t great. Lots of people skipped him because people know he won’t last long. He was only good when we only have Natasha. Lots of people who have Gepard and Bailu no longer pulled for him since. That’s why his revenue was very low. Now, the more sustain we get, the further and further he gets left out.
You can cope by crying hard, but I suggest you just close your eyes and cover your ears. Things will hurt more lmao
I suggest you learn to count
Luocha still has the highest total healing, SP efficiency and the ability to strip enemies’ buffs
Fu Xuan and Luocha are sidegrades, each one performs better in certain teams
Heard of DHIL? A 100% SP-positive sustainer is obviously infinitely more useful than a bit of ATK% and energy for a character like him.
But yeah, one day, a 200% Sp-positive sustainer, with twice as much healing, and insane buffs, all in one character, will be released. And a DPS dealing 4000% atk as AoE on every single auto-attack. So why pull now? That’s why I’ve personally vowed to never pull any character until the game is at least 5 years old, because everything until then will just be powercrept. A very smart decision, I know I know, no need to clap.
Huohuo is not universally the best healer but she suits certain teams extremely well
Meanwhile Luocha is the best general use healer but doesn’t have some of the synergies that Huohuo does
As someone who owns Kafka Jingliu and Blade I’d take Huohuo over Luocha every time
That is what i said essentially.
That is… true…
Even her technique count as a debuff to quicken Dr. Ratio engine right at the start.
If your account is mediocore, going in circle by chasing non offensive healer will only take longer for your account to finally get decent. it’s Fu Xuan that enable Zhongli no have to dodge more dps (with her imprison block) play style or Huohuo that’s both buff and amazing cleanse to team
Honest question but what happened to tail after the 1.5 story quest? is he dead or alive?
Umm they already said in the quest lol
you can’t kill heliobi so easily.. that’s why they trap them. So he’s out there somewhere. That’s what happened with Phantylia as well, since she’s also still out there.
Thanks, I do what most plp do and spam dialog so I did not see that, but thanks for ur answer and hope tail comes back
no he didnt die apparently he asked hanya to put him in to another gourd but i dont know the reason why he did it (probably to test huohuo or smth)
Prob right with the huohuo test , I did play the quest days ago but thanks for saying 😀
Play the event.
I did the whole event yesterday and I can confirm he is alive and back with HuoHuo (thanks Hanya) so yay 😀
I would’ve been mad if tail only got like 2 hours of screen time just to die
Hopefully we get some more Huohuo screening in later events or story
Agree, also I wanna see HuoHuo get possessed again (Im not insane, I just like possession alot)
Got Huohuo (and a lucky E1) this morning
with lv6 traces no one in my Blade team has even got close to death at any point
Looking, at my current teams, Fu xuan is more or less the only sustain I use (I have a fully built Bailu, and that is good enough for MoC, so I don’t really need another sustain), but will it be worth it to pull for her, (currently at 25 pulls, with 8 pity and 50/50), primary teams is currently some combination of Kafka DoT (all of her sub units are built), and Topaz Clara dual DPS (SW is used as the support here, because I really just want 1 thing to die), and Mono Quantum. Her energy recharge sounds nice, and more useful then the crit rate of Fu xuan for double / triple DoT especially since, Luka and Samp depending on comp have energy issues from just not getting enough actions (although Guin seems to have it a lot better). On the other hand, Guin Luka and Sampo are all absurdly squishy, and Fu actually fixes that, but Huohuo will simply stand there if they are 1 – 2 shot from their average of 2900 HP.
Would I be better off savying for Hanya (really don’t care for argenti Kit, and don’t need SW eidolons), or full skip this patch?
Well it seems you don’t really need Huohuo, since you have 2 sustains for MoC
As for Hanya if you don’t want the 5*s dont pull the 4*, Hanya will be featured again on a later banner
you dont need her also the 4* on her banner are trash so save up for better sustain unit
well for su (sd) you can use fu xuan because you just need one team and for moc she is not bad since there are no mobs with oneshot abilities and she basically can heal whenever you want. just pop an ultimate. moc should be a bit more consistant with her without using too much sustain. still not a must pull like fu xuan if you ask me.

also note that you can use downloaders to change your team depending on which Blessings you get–the 3* Destruction blessing that splits damage taken across the whole team looks very desirable for a kafka dot team already (as your attackers are all weak to being focused down, and it synergizes well with the Nihility “heal when your dots deal damage” blessing). If you get it, Huohuo becomes super strong and you can switch her in.
that’s still within the definiton of a “luxury pull” rather than something you need, though.
So she’s basically just Luocha but max hp based and better at dispelling debuffs?
No
Luocha is an SP positive combat healer who can also dispel enemy buffs
Huohuo is an SP neutral healer whose main attraction is her great debuff cleansing and team buffs
Smh no. Read their kits again. Luocha is a battle priest while Huohuo is a full support priest.
“If Huohuo has Sacrificed Life when an ally’s turn starts or when an ally uses their ultimate, restores HP….”
That “or” is interesting. Is this means that even if Huohuo has no stack, she still gonna heal any teammate that uses their ult?
No. Sacrificed Life stacks are required, they are consumed in order to heal allies. No stacks, no heal.
I’m no programmer or linguist but… if you simplify the skill effect it goes like this:
If X is present when Y or Z happens, then do A and B.
What you’re trying to say is:
If X is present when Y happens, or when Z happens, then do A and B.
I feel like the comma (or lack thereof) before “or” is important here. Though tbh, if they wanted to portray it the way you’re interpreting it, they would’ve restructured the sentence entirely.
I see it now. Ofc a stack is required since ultimates don’t require a turn to use and can be activated anytime. If it doesn’t then she’ll break the game. Thanks anyways.
I forgot this because it was a recent change, but upon backreading some of the comments, the 6 stacks are apparently only consumed for the cleanse. The healing has no limit as long as the buff is still active (lasts 2 turns) so it’s similar to Luocha’s “field” in that regard.
It means [If Huohuo has Sacrificed life when] [an ally’s turn starts or when an ally uses their ultimate]
Sacrificed life needs to be active in both scenarios
Huohuo : “People say that the general’s portrait can be used to dispel evil. I tried but… useless… I—I mean the portrait, not the general”
Not useless, just mid kek
jing yuan cant catch a break even in other characters profiles LMAO
If an ally is imprisoned or cc’d, does Huohuo’s talent cleanse the cc and thus let the ally take the turn ? (im thinking about jingyuan getting cc’d and lightning lord)
im pretty sure yes
As far as I know it hasn’t been shown yet, hopefully yes it cleanses before the CC/DoT does its effect
Meanwhile Topaz & Numby don’t have this problem. Even when Topaz got cc’d, Numby still can move freely kekw
It’s a good question, but I think regarding LL we’re looking at this the wrong way.
It’s only a problem when LL is ahead of Jing Yuan while he’s still CC’d. In that case you wouldn’t be able to rely on the Talent *unless* he’s below 50% HP and someone else took a turn or used an Ult before LL can act, thus triggering the talent on him as well.
Now if LL is behind Jing Yuan, then there’s no problem even without the cleanse. Imprisonment is cleared at the start of his turn, and Freeze is cleared too (but his turn is skipped). Since he’s technically free from CC after his own turn, LL can still act afterwards.
But regardless, it would be great to see the cleanse taking priority. This would matter a lot when it comes to Freeze and losing a turn.
I was hoping Huohuo would solve JY cc problems the same way Fuxuan does with JY, but it would make more sense otherwise, thanks for the explanation 😀
