Soon, my boy, you will have your day in the Sun
should I pull for DHIL or Aventurine? I’m a new player and I need advice ><
tyy
We don’t know Aventurine’s kit yet so hard to answer
But you’d basically be choosing massive damage, or easier survival
Really up to how you want to play
(alternatively go for both since there are so many pulls available to you)
Given your new. You will be able to test out Dan Heng dragon edition before you roll for him. Do the play test, see if you like them. At the very least. If you do end up liking them. Before rolling, might want to go and search out sort of teams work best for Dan Heng dragon edition. So you have an idea of what future party members you might want to roll for.
Always roll for characters you really like. If you like DHIL go for it. From a more account-value perspective Aventurine will probably provide more long-term value for your account right now given that you’re new. As a new player the best units you can roll for early on are always going to be limited abundance/preservation or any sustain units. Being able to live longer results in more damage overall imo. We are always getting new DPS characters, with each new one being stronger than the last.
From an objective standpoint, I cannot recommend DHIL.. He’s in a position now where as an imaginary DPS your free Dr. Ratio is even/better than E0 DHIL, his insane power everyone talks about comes from his E2. Plus if you get him, you’re really going to want to have Sparkle, which is pretty unrealistic unless you whale. We can’t say much on Adventurine until we get the beta leaks, but he should be a sustain that can actually deal significant damage, which should be pretty nice in general.
From a subjective standpoint, go with who you like – both should be fine.
Being a mew player you get Dr.Ratio, so you have a good imaginary dmg dealer which means you hsould get your sustains and harmony up and going.
of course this doesn’t matter if you like his design and playstyle, just get him. this is a single player gacha game, who cares about meta

New player here, literally made my account this week. Should I pull for incubator or is he not worth it?
(1. helpful answers only plz, dont bother commenting if you a hater and want others to hate him too)
(2. not a waifu enjoyer, so dont try to convince me to save for B.S. or upcoming mommies)
Thank you
well…, yes and no, he is skill point Hungry,so, If You don’t have a good team, it’s not a a really good first five Star caracter, but, If You have Skill point friendly team, he is a monster, probably one of the Best characters of the game, but… try to get a five Star sustain or harmony/nihility characters, like sparkle, thou, it’s hard in one versión, but IT’s possible yo get sparkle and this characters, i recommend View sparkle’s kit.

Imbibitor is one of the best DPS in the game and is incredibly satisfying but consumes 3 skill points per turn (1 after he ults). You need to ensure the rest of your party can generate SP reliably while also still keeping their utility. Or like the other person said, you can get him then save for Sparkle, who provides the team with a lot of skill points as part of her kit which would help with IL’s SP needs. You have time to research his teams and such as he will remain until February 29th 😀
While DHIL is a powerful character, given you have Dr.Ratio for free, pulling for DHIL is ill-adviced unless you really like him and you don’t like Dr.Ratio as much. They share many similarities aside from being Imaginary-type DPS. They are just at the same power level, they both need exquisite team-building, and they are both good for MoC but not so good for PF.
If you like DHIL and want him anyway, his best companions should be Ting Yun and Pela, who are free-to-play DPS assistants that are SP positive that allows him to spam his dragon pulse very often. Sparkle is a good companion as well and she is coming just after DHIL’s rerun.
If you plan to play Dr.Ratio instead, his best companions should be Ting Yun and Pela, the former grants him with extra energy to allow him to use his ult more often and the latter guarantees the enemy to have the debuffs that Dr.Ratio is asking for. If you have more budgets. Sparkle is a good companion as well and she is coming just after DHIL’s rerun.
It’s a game, so play in any manner you can enjoy. Most characters are rewarding if well-built.
Thanks for the honest advice. Maybe I’ll wait for his next rerun when i have more build characters for a decent team. All i really need rn is a good dps to carry me early game.
Physical trailblazer is good enough to be an early game carry. You want more powerful DPS when challenging more difficult contents, where you don’t need to worry about for now.
